Affiliate Project X was the second installment in Chris Mcneeney's internet marketing product trio alongside AdWords Miracle and Day Job Killer.

Affiliate Project X is quite a fascinating product and it has the sales record to prove it.  There was so much pre launch hype surrounding this course that it shattered Click Bank sales records.

The pitch was that Affiliate Project X would reveal the secrets that six figure affiliates were using to rake in their profits.  The controversy was the steps that it advocated for copying their success.

Thus, Affiliate Project X created an affiliate frenzy with professional internet marketers selling to newbies, then newbies trying to sell to other newbies and so on.  In all the hype the actual contents of the course got overshadowed by all the advertisements.

Affiliate Project X goes over six advanced strategies for making money with affiliate programs.

Affiliate Project X Method 1:  The Leech - This method teaches you how to get in a buyers head and get them to click on your affiliate link right when they're ready to buy.  In addition, it goes over pre-selling and traffic generating strategies, which, if done properly can lead to amazing sales conversions.

Affiliate Project X Method 2:  The Workhorse Method - The name says it all, this technique is for those people that do not have ready cash to start a pay-per-click advertising campaign.  Whether your promoting a website or an affiliate there are ways to generate massive traffic for free.  The obvious downside is that these methods take up more time and can get rather tedious.

Affiliate Project X Method 3:  Copy The Best - There are super affiliates on the net making over $10,000 a day, this method advises you to research their keywords and follow in their footsteps.  You can promote the same products as them and bid on the same keywords. This is a controversial tactic and does not always yield results for people, basically you don't want to get into a bidding war with someone who has a lot more money than you.

Affiliate Project X Method 4:  The Affiliate Diary - Will take you through the steps of building your own subscriber list.  You will learn how to use Autoresponders and mailing lists to reach out to thousands of potential customers.  In addition to the technical aspects you learn how to communicate with your list so that your emails get read every time.

Affiliate Project X Method 5:  Thief in the Night - Very similar to the copy the best method it will show you how to steal ideas from super affiliates.

Affiliate Project X Method 6:  The Opportunist - This method covers one of the most important aspects of affiliate marketing which is product selection.  This will show you how to select products that are in high demand and sell with ease.  It will also show you how to get the jump on your competition in terms of product selection.

These techniques are very effective how ever one is designed to work optimally in conjunction with Keyword Elite, a research tool.  You can still apply it without that program or by using a different keyword tool, but for the full effect Keyword elite is recommended.

Update: It's been quite a while now since Affiliate Project X was released and it seems to have gone by the wayside as another one of those marketing products that's simply not so viable anymore.
