AmazonFresh is a new subsidiary of well known online retailer Amazon.com, which promises its customers same day and early morning deliveries of more than 500,000 Amazon items, including groceries and products from local retailers.
How Does It Work?
Currently this service is only available in Southern California, San Francisco, and Seattle. But customers who live in this area can sign up using their current Amazon.com account and can place orders for everything you need "whether it's apples, shampoo, or a digital camera."
Orders placed by 10 am can be delivered by dinner, while orders placed by 10 pm will arrive by breakfast the next day. In addition to the regular items you can purchase from your Amazon provider, AmazonFresh also includes items from the grocery store, as well as products from local shops and restaurants.
Customers can sign up for AmazonFresh and try the program for 90 days for free. The costs you pay for individual orders will depend on what you order, though all orders which total more than $35 will include free delivery.
Once your free trial is over, maintaining AmazonFresh will cost around $300 per year, but this cost includes an Amazon Prime account as well, which traditionally costs $99 per year.
Their website doesn't really detail a Refund or Guarantee Policy for costs of the AmazonFresh subscription, as those issues will likely be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Items bought from the Amazon.com retailer will follow Amazon's standard Refund Policy, which often changes depending on the type of product you are purchasing.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers can contact their Customer Service team to discuss any questions, concerns, or complaints is by submitting them by phone at (888) 280-9461, by submitting them directly to their website, or by submitting your phone number to the site and having a representative contact you.
Generally Amazon.com has a very positive reputation with their customers across the country, for their wide selection of products and reliable company policies. AmazonFresh is a brand new service, however, and is only available in limited areas so it is still very early on to say whether or not this is a successful program.

1 ‘AmazonFresh’ Review
I do not have television but do have a computer. I have been an Amazon Prime member for over 5 years, mostly ordering DVDs or free streaming of movies and TV. I have never had a problem with their products or service.
I am a senior, disabled widow and it is very difficult for me to go grocery shopping. While searching for something to watch on Prime last night I noticed the AmazonFresh title. I looked into it and was pretty impressed. I started making a grocery list "just for fun"; but, ended up submitting it by 10: 00 pm. Today I received all my items in secure, totes with Styrofoam containers and either ice packs or dry ice inside. When I started opening them it was like Christmas!. All the produce is fresh, organic, non GMO. They have gluten free if you need or any other specialty items. The prices were competitive with Stater Brothers. They also include beauty and health supplies. You can pick whatever day you want and what ever 2-3 hour time block you want for delivery. I just finished one of the best salads I have ever tasted with real fresh greens and fruit. I would definitely recommend this service to everyone and anyone. Even if you are not disabled, it's so great to not have to waste time, gas and energy going shopping. Check it out folks - it's a great deal. I'm off to start a new shopping list!
