I came very close to joining despite the high price. Seems that my sponsor had the option to allow me to make 3 sales - prior to joining which would pay for the $1,200 sign up fee. Although she agreed to do this, she not only didn't follow up with assistance but soon stopped replying to my e-mails altogether. Oh, did I mention that she was in Australia?

I can't say for certain that it's a scam since I never got in. I can only speculate why my sponsor failed to follow through. Maybe the wait would have been too long before she saw her $1,000 profit from my first sale?
