Easy Google Profits Kit Review

Is Easy Google Profit a Scam...?

Easy Google Profit

Easy Google Profit is among a new breed of programs promising easy and quick money from Google.  These programs are quickly taking over the home business niche and tons of people have been asking if these programs are legit or scams.

The first thing you should know about the Easy Google Profits Kit and the other programs promoting money from Google, is that they are in no way associated with Google Inc.

Many people get confused by the use of the name in the title and automatically assume that it is a product produced by the search engine giant. You should know that at this time, Google Inc. does not produce or endorse any work-at-home program, and work-at-home opportunities claiming to be endorsed or affliated with Google Inc. are making false claims.

For example, if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page for Google Treasure Chest, you will see the disclaimer that says, "Google Treasure Chest Kit is not affiliated with, endorsed by or in any way associated with Google. Results vary. Individuals have been remunerated." "Remunerated" simply means that people who are endorsing Google Treasure Chest Kit have been paid to do so.

So What's Inside the Easy Google Profits Kit...?

What these programs are selling is nothing new, and the info they promise you is not only very basic, it's not secret. Anyone who's been around online marketing long enough can tell you that there are two ways to make money using the Google search engine.

The first method is to use the search engine's advertising system to post ads for products that you're an affiliate for.  The second method is to host Google ads on your website or blog.

In the fist method you're not getting paid directly by Google but you make money when customers sign up for your offer or purchase a product. In the second method you make money whenever your visitors click on the ads posted on your site.

Fortunately, this information is readily available to you from many other sources. Easy Google Profit offers their customers nothing they aren't able to find elsewhere.

So is the Easy Google Profits Kit a Scam...?

Easy Google Profit isn't the first company to mislead people into believing their information is somehow newer or better than their competitors, but the main problem with Easy Google Profit and the slew of similar Google cash programs lies with their deceptive billing policies.  They advertise their kit for only $1.97 in shipping and handling fees, but there's much more to it.

Once you submit your billing info you are entered into a contract authorizing Google Treasure Chest to bill you $72.21 each month. They also sign you up for additional programs with monthly billing that you never asked for, or were even aware of.

For example, on top of the $72.21 they also sign you up for a trial of SafeLockID for $19.95 a month and GrantSpring for $14.95 a month.  They've been reported by numerous consumers to the Better Business Bureau and an official complaint has been filed against them by the Texas Attorney General. This is why so many people are warning that this program is a complete scam.

If you've signed up for the Easy Google Profits Kit unknowing of the monthly charges you can call 866-951-1406 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to cancel.  Obviously, due to their fraudulent and deceptive billing practices, I do not recommend this company, or any other work-at-home schemes that pretend to be associated with Google Inc.

Note: If you came to this website because you're looking for a way to make money online then I suggest you take a look at my top recommendations. These are the best methods I've found that anyone can use to make money online, Click Here.

I was so close to signing up, but I thought I would search a little further and I am sooooo glad I came across this article. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I avoided a lot of drama.

SCAM--SCAM--SCAM!!! Thanks for the number on your site. I also got a cancellation number from someone for something under blazing key words. Not sure if this will take care of all of the charges showing up. They said there was nothing under Easy Google Profit kit. Ordered 5 weeks ago with nothing but CC charges to show for it. Have also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges with the fraud dept. Not entirely hopeful that it will be cleared up quickly and cleanly.

I also want to share an address for Google Treasure Chest. It is 837 East 9400 South #233 PMB, Sandy Utah 84094. I also filed a complaint with the Utah Better Business Bureau, 5637 Redwood Rd, Suite 22, Taylorsville, UT 84123-5322. Phone # 801-892-6099,
Fax # 801-892-6002, Email info@utahbbb.org, BBB Utah website www.utah.bbb.org. I hope this helps anyone else who was scammed to stop this company from operating and to get your money back.

I was taken in by the advertisement of the Google Kit for .99 and $72.21. I never received anything from this company. I called 866-957-0020 to request a refund but was told they did not give refunds. Then I immediately called 1-888-256-1248 and requested that they remove the $72.21.
A representative told me she would cancel the charge. Just to make sure, I called my visa card holder and disputed the charge to make sure both of those charges would be charged back to the merchant. Hopefully, these two numbers will help those who cannot contact these scammers. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Thanks for saving me from a scam! I clicked a link on Facebook and was almost sold. 5 stars, thank you!

Also I must say that Visa handles fraud much better than Mastercard. MC has a drawn out process and Visa makes it easier to reclaim your money. An accountant told me this in a discussion, hope it helps.

Tracy in Louisiana: I also canceled by debit card - but by the 1.97 charge you pre authorized the future charges so you will get hit with more charges. you must go to the bank and file a fraud report so the charges will not come in THEY ARE NOT DONE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT THAT EASY!!!!!!!

Me and my husband were caught by this scam too. oh and fyi there are a couple of other companies, that i havn't seen mentioned, that are connected to it. Through making Lots of phone calls on unauthorized charges I found out that E-Tax Hotline, Product Resource Network, Safelock ID, and a place called ECG*PMT CONV FEE are all getting info and charging peoples accounts cause they signed up for Google Treasure Chest. Because of this my family is out over 200$. Please don't let this happen to you.

this is a scam. I was charged 1.97 for information. 5 days later i was hit in my account for 74.21 charge. I called the number and they stated there was a 5 day trial. 5 day trial- I hadn't received anything, and the sign up on the site didn't even ask for an address for me to receive anything. I was able to get may money back telling them it was a SCAM and I would be reporting them to the BBB. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT GOT HIT CALL 18662005186 AND TELL THEM YOU WILL REPORT THEM.NO ONLINE HELP SITE IS SAFE. GOOD LUCK

I almost got caught in this scam till I noticed the "Los Angeles TRIBUNE" thing. Since I live in LA I know there is not, and hasn't been for at least the 50 years I have been here, any paper called the LA "Tribune". The LA "Tribune" was a fictional newspaper name used in the old "Lou Grant" TV show, the "Mary Tyler Moore Show" spinoff thirty years ago.

Something told me to do this. I'm glad I listened to my "inner voice".

this may help you all with your banks and/or credit card companies, in regards to the google treasure chest scam. call your bank immediately and inform them this is fraudulent, so the bank can credit the funds back into your account. this merchant probably received a pre-authorization and will continue to charge your account until your financial institution process's what is known as a charge back. you will have to sign an affidavit or card holder letter stating the transaction was fraud. the reason code for visa is 83 and the code for master card is 4837. these are simply charge backs for mail order--telephone order items commonly known as MOTO. i was told by one of the phone operators that they no longer represent google treasure chest and the company is "restructuring" so the phone and website are no longer available..but they will be back, so keep trying to find them?! that's comforting! you must make sure that your bank/credit card won't allow anything from the old card to transfer to the new one or they will keep charging you.

I just found out I have a charge of 72.21, WHAT! I am sooo lost I have not signed up for anything and never ordered a cd. It all was charged to a preloaded MasterCard. So Im not sure what I should do to get my money back! Who should I call? Its not really a credit card its one you can put what ever you want one it, so I canceled my card and they told me I had to shoe proof and fax what was charged! So I am not sure how to get my money back or how to prove it wasn't me. Anyone know what I should do?

I too signed up without seeing the extra costs (signups). Then found this article. When I called the number given above they said that as of yesterday they no longer handle this and gave me another number that is now supposed to be handleing this support (1-800-xxx-xxxx). When I called them to cancel, they could not find my information at iether. Was ready to head to the bank next but decided to try a couple other numbers I found. same process til the third number. There they had my account ID and were moderately considerate but rather pushy. BE sure to ask to cancel ALL "COMPANION OFFERS" because they will not volunteer it! WHAT A SCAM THEY ARE!!!

I got caught in the SCAM TOO! I got taken for the 1.97 shipping and the 72.21. My credit card company also would not back me up, and so I had to close my account. Be Very Careful because I was told by Visa that if you only block your account and don't close it they can still charge your NEW account cause they still have your authorization.
I have sent both letters and have called many times and still I have not gotten my money back. this has been going on since april 29/09.PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT TOO!

Oh how I wish I had found this website prior to my "$1.97" purchase...which has turned into $123.47 worth of charges...and that's for my first month! From Spring Garden, to A1...I have no idea what I've gotten myself into! I knew this was too good to be true, and knew the answer to so many issues wasn't going to be as easy as posting ads on the net. Now I'm going to call all the numbers listed on this page and cancel, just to be safe!

I did the same as some others who were looking for another way to earn some extra money. I thought everything was legit until I saw money disappearing from my checking account. This is really a scam. Because of this, I've had overdraft charges on my account as well. Ive called on numerous occasions to have all of the transactions credited back to my account, but so far nothing. The bank is working with me to fight this, and at the same time, I changed all of my account information. anything that says it's free is not free, please be careful!

I too almost fell for it since I found it on MSN.com. When I first tried to exit a "chat" box showed up and offered me the $0.99 version. I just called this nr. to cancel google money profit (1)8663707270 and I hopefully was successful because the operator named LANZ told me, that she is canceling my membership in effect today 29 may 09 so I wont be charged anymore. I asked her about refund and she didn't want agreed first, but after asking her for 4th time she allowed me to get refund of 39.95$. I got confirmation code for cancellation and later on I also got a refund confirmation nr. I asked her to send me email to confirm this everything, so I hope I gonna be successful in this fck bsns. The phone call lasted for about 15minutes.
First nr I tried to call was (1)8663965695, but they just took my name, postcode and surname, and let me wait on the line which I cut off after more than 20 minutes.
I ve just received an email confirming my refund.
Thanks for help guys and I hope this will also help to someone...Milan

I foolishly signed up for the 1.97 charge. I read the fine print and no where did it say anything about other charges. I was also charged .06 cents for an international charge.
I have called 3 phone numbers so far. The first one 866-951-1406 could not locate my name or number. I called 888-563-4281 and was told they are not affiliated with google profit, and they gave me another number. Easiest thing to do , I canceled my debit card! It's a little bit easier if you use a debit card rather than a credit card. I'm not going to go on a wild goose chase trying to cancel. How in the hell can this be legal????

To all the people posting comments here I must say I do feel ashamed, I use to run a website just like Easy Google Profits only I DID give refunds when requested. Anyway let me get to my point, alot of people think you can just call your credit card company and get your money back, but most credit card companies will tell you to call the merchant first and ask the reason why you want a refund. So let me tell you a little trick, whenever you get scammed like this, just call your credit card company and tell them "I did not make these charges, their fraudulent"

The bank will absolutely give your money back, ESPECIALLY if your card was a visa. Ive done this myself dozens of times. Also technically, your not lying, because they are frauds, and you DID NOT authorize the extra charges. Hope this helps....

Thank you all for your comments, unfortunately I discovered this site after I singed on to the program. However I found a number on Rip off reports. com that I was able to speak with their customer service dept. Its 1888-248-9285. They said that because I had just signed on there was no cancel button next to my name and that I should call back tomorrow, which I most definitely will do. I will still be in the 7 day window so I was told I would get a full cancellation with no charges. If I don't I will be back on this site giving the details why not.

this is such a pain in the butt! our story is the same as everyone else pretty much. my husband lost his job and was desperate signed up for product resources.com He got a phone call form PRODUCT RESOURCES asking if they can charge him 1.97 to send the starter kit. WE got charged by them called to cancel and thought that was the end of the story. then got charged by etax hot line for 19.95, and google treasure chest for 72.21. There was no number for e-tax to cancel it and called for google chest got the kiosk in the philipines(not india) poor kid finally gave us a number in the states after getting yelled at. 866-951-1406. When we called girl said send us the cd and we will refund the money. Of course we threw that away after we thought we canceled it. She said there is nothing we can do even though my husband never authorized this charge. HE only authorized product resources never google chest. anyways our only recourse was to call our bank and challenge the charges.

good luck.

Gail from Texas,

The reason we "did not read" those terms is because those terms ARE NEVER DISCLOSED OR DISPLAYED AT ANY TIME.

A friend and I signed-up for Google Profits Kit using a prepaid Visa card that my friend purchased ($20 balance) in his name. We took screen captures of every stage of the sign-up process, from beginning to end.

At NO time were these terms or additional charges ever disclosed. That is why so many people are falling for this. I looked for the fine print the first time, because I was a little bit wary of this offer. The fine print was never displayed in any step of this process, but I didn't think to take screen captures the first time I signed up.

Allison   PA

These people are evil.

On the same day that I signed up, I scrambled to contact them because I realized it was a scam right away. No luck, of course. I called my credit card and they said they have received tons of calls like mine. They helped me "cancel" my "grant something" account by entering it in this website the company supposedly gave them because they were calling the company so much (we'll see if that actually worked) and I am going to try to call the company during their business hours using the number someone kindly shared. If that fails, I will cancel my credit card account before the 7 days are up. This is ridiculous. After hearing what happened to everyone, I'm scared they will charge tons of money to my card that I'll never get back.

I feel really stupid for falling for this, but so many people do! So don't feel stupid if you do. They obviously to everything they can to make it seem legit. It's so terrible that everyone involved in this scam is still a part of it. They have to know what they're doing to people!

I thought I was signing up for a work at home program; Google Profit Kit. I got suspicious because AFTER I gave them my CC info,(stupid stupid me); the ad said I would receive my kit in 2-3 weeks. But .. I didn't give them my address .. so how were they going to send me a kit? Hmmmmm ..

Then I decided to check out the company (first mistake was not checking them out FIRST BEFORE I ordered the 'kit')!

I then realized upon checking the company out, that it was all a huge scam! I really felt STUPID at the point because I knew better! I too was trying to find a way to bring extra income in because my husband recently lost his job and has only been able to find part time work.

I first called 1-866-951-1406 and was told they did not carry this peculiar company/kit and gave me a different number: 1-866-341-0767 and told me this was the cancellation line for the company I was seeking to cancel my order with. Upon calling that number, I was told that they too did not support the 'kit' or company I was inquiring about. But just in case, the agent told me he would take my info and make sure his supervisor received it and they would cancel my order. But .. I wasn't about to take him at his word and not without a cancellation number as proof that my order had been canceled! I then called 1-877-350-8480 and upon asking, was told that I had in deed reached the offices (call center) of BlazingKeywords.com. My order was canceled (fingers crossed) and I was given a cancellation number. I also asked for the 'agents' id# and a phone number 'in case I had to call again' .. and at that time was given a different number. I then called another number, 1-888-247-2155 and again told the 'agent' that I wanted to cancel my order (just to see what would happen at this number). Well, as it turned out, I found out that now I was signed up for TWO accounts with this company (Blazingwords). She told me that I was signed up with something called Grand Masters Online AND Blazingword. When I questioned her about the Grand Masters Online, I was told it was about smart shopping and investing! OMG! I was SO angry! I told her to cancel anything and everything they had on file that I was signed up for and that I wanted it done immediately! She gave me a cancellation number and told me 'not to worry' .. that everything had been canceled! We'll see ..

Everyone I called spoke very broken English and they were very hard to understand. I'm certain that most of the people I did speak with were in other Countries at call centers. Do not make the mistake I did .. investigate BEFORE giving out your credit card information! We should all be very leary of ads that advertise 'working at home' and do our homework so we don't get scammed ...

Signed up for "Easy google profit" via link thru Los Angeles Tribune News web page. I thought because the newspaper was promoting this story along with all the company logos that it was legit. After paying 1.97 fee I read the terms and conditions and found I would be billed 77.00 month for blazingkeywords.com plus and additional 24.00 month for another service called grant spring.
I immediately called the 888 numbers on tried to cancel but was informed they were not able to find me in their database yet and i would have to try later. Their "terms and conditions" state I must cancel within 7 days but they seem to be unable to cancel quickly.
DO NOT SIGN UP OR GIVE YOUR CC INFO to these people.
I have canceled my CC number thru my bank to prevent further charges.

Thank you for all your comments regarding Easy Google Profit! I have read the ad and thought what a nice way to make a living. I didn't order the program immediately (last week May 15). Before ordering I came upon this website and proceeded to review the comments about the program. Not going to order. To say thank you to all of you seems so inadequate. However, I do say THANK YOU!

I had already signed up for the CD when I found this page and all its comments. Although I believe you can make money posting for AdSense or Adwords which are legit Google Products, it takes a lot of work and they definitely don't pay that well. I asked my friend that works here at Google in Irvine. Anyway, I just called my credit card company and canceled the card and got a new one issued. Now if they try to charge that card, it will bounce.

I had recently paid off my citibank balance in full. So there was a delay in getting my next statement. By the time I did get my statement these "Treasure chest" bastards had charged me twice for 72.21. I called the 866-951-1406 number to dispute the charges and the little sweetheart had told me that I had 7 days from the day I received the cd to cancel. The only problem is I didnt know I had to cancel anything. I then called citibank to let them know these charges were unauthorized. Citibank did not back me at all, and told me I was responsible for the charges. I will be cancelling my account with both companies because of this total rip off. So I'm out $144.42, and feel like an idiot. Don't let this happen to you!!!

I just saw this page about this lady and the bad economy making money. Supposed to be as seen and trusted by CBS, USA Today, CNN etc. I thought that would be great. I'm having surgery and will be out of work for the summer and I could profit and feed my family without going into debt. I don't have a credit card but use prepaid cards. I knew I had about $15.00 left on the card and would give it a try. It kept getting declined saying my address was wrong, which I knew it wasn't. I get it at the bank and add my personal info to use on ebay and stuff like a credit card. I did some investigating and glad I did. Had it just been the $1.75 and $1.00 was stated on the web page I would have been on my way in business. But since I didn't have enough to be scammed my card was denied. This is so Bull shit that people can do this stuff. They are the ones who profit and trick us. Glad my card was denied and glad I didn't have enough on my card.
Damn Crooks!! Someone stole my debit card last year and charged almost $1,000.00 on it from my checking account before I noticed it on my bank statement and didn't realize it was missing. I'm still pursuing that and the police aren't doing a damn thing it was in Los Angelos and they have bigger crimes to worry about and I was going through cancer treatments at the time. I haven't got a debit card since and all my credit card are closed out. I said no more.
Just can't trust people anymore. Good luck getting your money back people. I don't thinkyou will. It's like that home for under $300.00 that is also all a scam. I saw a TV and then went online and checked it out and then found out that these people were scammed for thousands of dollars. And he can still advertise on TV. This is crazy.

My wife just went on to check our account only to find not only the 72.21 charge but an additional 1.44 international transaction fee!!!! There was never a charge for any cd nor did we get one!!!! I immediately called my bank and I am filing a dispute on this! When I called the 888# for this company I was told to send a letter to Jackson WY and REQUEST my money to be refunded. I would be CONSIDERED! Bullshit!! I will have my bank get my money back one way or another! I have no idea how they got this information but they are a bunch of foreign THIEVES!!!!

They took 72.21 from my acct yesterday and never received a CD and not also do they take money but two other companies with them will take monthly fees too! I spent 3 hrs as I am gravely ill and the money they took is for my medicine and they refused me a refund and gave me corporates info to see if they would do it. They will only refund if you send back the CD , which I never received, and the agent prior to talking with the next one put in her notes that I threw it away and not to give me a refund! They are located in Draper, Utah and Jackson, Wyoming is their corporate address location. I have to write to them explaining that I didn't auth any amt and hope for the best. In the mean time I cant get my meds and hope I don't die before I receive my next SS check next month. What kind of cruel people are these and why doesn't the gov't do something about it!!! If you have to get in touch with corporate their number is 1-866-951-1406. Good luck to you all and God Bless!

I didn't even sign up! Some one else signed up and used my first name but used their last name (which is not on my credit card!) and personal info and the transaction actually went thru! When I discovered this on May 9th, I immediately called my credit card company and told them my card had been compromised, closed the account and requested a new account number and a new card be issued to me. They did and I started investigating. As I did not know where this charge came from. My first call was answered in the Phillipines by "Irene". She gave me another bogus number to call but told me she worked for a 3rd company customer service representative but didn't know which one.... Thanks to your comments I will be able to get my money back and was glad to know about the bogus Grant Spring info.
And my only consolation is that whoever did this now has a Trojan Virus in thier computer.
P.S. I have been awaiting a real person to answer the 888-247-2155 phone number now for 13 mintues - they keep thanking me for calling.............. but no one answers. HMMMMMMMM

OMG what a scam-When I went on line to get the introduction dvd and man called me about the rest of the program and I canceled with him...explained that I did not have the time right now (parents house caught fire & had to put my Mom in a nursing home) so he agreed and SAID he cancled it. I called the 800# on my bank statement & the "Indian" girl that answered I ended up screaming at her because she refused to cancel. She finally canceled but gave me a line of BS about the refund..when I "googled" LOL I did call the 888# above and actually got a an English speaking female. She wanted to give me 6 months free HAHA I said NO I want my money back. So now I am sending the disc back and we'll see. Man that just proves you can't TRUST ANYONE.

If you want that much money, get a part time job and try to get into university. But OMG, I know were all desperate for money, but you really got to think logically when it comes to online opportunity.

But thanks for informing us all that this google program is a scam. I hope for the rest of the world, they do there research before they become the next victims.

If you click on the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page it will provide you with numbers for both companies, I have yet to reach anyone, I even emailed both addresses that they provide and have yet to hear anything back. I called my cc company and had them put a hold on all transactions until I could resolve this. They also said that if I couldn't resolve it I should cancel that card. I am going to try again on Monday and if that still doesn't work I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and cancel my card. I signed up on April 24th and have been trying to get a hold of them since the 28th to cancel. What a scam.

Thank goodness i found this site. I do a lot of research before i buy into anything on the computer or newspaper or on t.v to see if there is a scam there. The only way you can keep from being charged all those extra money is to cancel your CC.
It looks like they are still taking out the 72.21
even after they told you you will only be charged 1.97. I would not bet on them only taking the 1.97 out. I would have to cancel my card to make sure they don't take more money. Something has to be done about these @#@^%$ people. I hope they go to jail for along time. I am sorry for everyone that was deceived by these people. We live in a time where money is hard to come by. We don't need to be robbed of our hard earn money!!!! I wish you all luck in getting your money back. It just makes me sick to think they can dip into our bank account and help themselves with as much money as they want. Cancel your Credit card. I recently enrolled in the Easy Google Profit program. I entered my credit card and agreed on the$1.97 fee so I would be able to "make thousands" from my own home. A customer service person called to verify the last four digits of my credit card. I didn't have my card handy so they agreed to call back later. I then called the number to give them my number and the number in 5 min. time had been disconnected!! I was glad when they finally called back because I gave them a piece of my mind!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!

Read the TERMS and CONDITIONS at the bottom of the page. Check under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. You will notice that they automatically signed you up for a Grant Spring (whatever that is) membership at @ $24 for a 15 days trial period. It is non-refundable. And if you don't cancel within 10 days, they can keep charging you!

It is a total bogus SCAM!!!!

I signed up thru a person who claims to be living in the same city I'm living in to get google treasure chest at the cost of only $1.97. a few days later there's the charge for $1.97 for what I ordered. $72.96 for some A1 membership that was never mentioned anywhere. and $2.23 for foreign transaction fee since all these where billed from Britain!!! No matter what's on this DVD this is a total SCAM as nothing is disclosed before you sign up!!! on top of that I received a call a few days ago before I saw the charge on my credit card from Google Treasure Chest asking to sign me up for some membership programs which I explicitly told her I'm not interested in any memberships and I just wanted the DVD with information on it. Apparently it doesn't matter what I say and I get enrolled in their fraudulent programs. My Credit card, Citi Bank, which I've been with over 20 years with not incident tells me I have to call them and resolve it with them. Jerks! I'm closing my credit card with Citi, and will be writing to the attorney general about this fraud!

I am so glad you all posted on here because I filled out the web page & then clicked off once I read that there was going to be 80 bucks a month charged to my CCard. Guess what, I got 3 calls within 2 hours asking for my 3.00 for the "free" cd. Not to mention that neither one of them sounded like they were from the US. (that alone makes me mad too!!!!!) Thanks again for sharing your experiences and for saving me money. I very blatantly asked them how they could be working for a scam and hung up.

Here's what to do!!!

Call the number in the story above--1-866-951-1406. Just keep trying. Someone will eventually answer. I have gotten through twice. Once to cancel immediately last week once I signed up and once today to make sure it was all canceled out. Make sure you get a cancellation number for the Google Treasure Chest as well as SafeLock ID. I was given 2 different cancellation numbers at this phone number.

Next call 1-888-247-2155--again keep trying if you can't get through. I called this one to cancel Grant Spring. I again received a cancellation number and an email to confirm.

Sad that predators are still out there....I am so mad at myself for going for this....I read it in a "newspaper article".....STUPID!!!

They can keep my $1.97 if I NEVER hear from any of them again!!!!

Good luck everyone getting money back or stopping this before they take your money.

This is one of the biggest scams, there are several locations for this, the main headquarters is in Utah. I called my banks when the transaction was still pending and told them that it was NOT authorized, Washington Mutual still allowed them to take funds from my account, I called and told my bank that I didn't feel that they protected my interest and money, they said it was their policy to complete the transaction even though I did not authorize it. The banks need to protect their customers from these transactions or good law biding people will do the same as our Country gets more Obamaized. I want to start a Petition to get bank customers more protected from predators like Google Treasure Chest. I did contact Google and was told to fill out a form that required a URL and I couldn't complete the form because I don't have a URL just a lonely email address. Call your bank and complain and be forceful in your conversation with the supervisors you talk to, and always ask to speak with a supervisor. I just called to cancel mine as well after reviewing this information. I got my CD in the mail about Google Treasure Chest (which that's not who I ordered from) but it did not have any instructions with it. Also as soon as I ran it my norton anti-virus said that I had a TROJAN virus on my computer and that it couldn't repair it!
But nevertheless I did call and get a cancellation # but my card wasn't billed yet, actually it was but the money was not in my account!! So when I talked with the rep she told me it could be sent through again and that she couldn't stop it! So im watching my account closely now. I'll never do it again if I can help it.
