Global Travel International Reviews

Is Gobal Travel International a Scam?

Global Travel International claim to be able to get anyone set up as an independent travel agent.  Global Travel International is similar to travel portal websites like YTB Travel, since they both provide customers with a website that doesn't sell travel but redirects people to vacation deals.

Global Travel International has a growing number of agents, last checked they were at around 40,000.  Global Travel International is a private company based out of Florida that focuses on cruises, travel packages, and group rates.

Global Travel International has been around for over ten years and claim to be the leader in travel home business opportunities.  GDI has reported generating over 125 million dollars in revenue.

Global Travel International is also accredited by many organizations including ARTA, HEDNA, CLIA, ARC and IATAN.  This is important because part of the sales pitch is that once you become a Global Travel International member you can get discounts on hotels, airfare, and car rentals.  However many sites claim these things but nobody recognizes their memberships and their customers get nothing.

Even though Global Travel International advertises a one month free trial subscription to their services you need to read the fine print.  There is a one time activation fee of $49.95 that is not refundable even upon cancellation of the trial period.  Many people have fallen for this and have resorted to calling the whole operation a Global Travel International Scam.

I work online with a method where you can make a great online income from your home computer whenever you have time.  The best part is it's free to join and I won't charge you anything for the information, find out more Click Here.

Best of Luck,
Steve Albright

Oh my God, I can't believe I have fallen for Mr. ALEX ANDREANG sweet words and suddenly I just found myself typing his name. Because of curiousity when I saw this part of the quote "A culprit named Alex Andrea WHO POSTED HIS ADVERTISEMENT OF NEEDING A NANNY in ... is 15,Kincaid Road,Peckham,se15 5un London |+447024087781|+447031964643 ..." I immediately opened the website and I have found out how he and he's members operate. Thank you guys... I contacted those who posted to his advertisement hopefully they have received my message. TO MR. ALEX ANDREANG THANK YOU FOR LETTING US FEEL, EVEN JUST FOR A SECOND THAT WE ARE NOT AS DESPERATE AS YOU ARE TO HAVE MONEY!!! Hey hope you can sleep tight for ruining others lives!!!

Hello,
I also bumped into this nanny-seeking website. The offer was too good to be true. The employer's name is anthony michael. And of course, directed me to globaltravelinters@europe.com. tried to check the website but it cannot be found. His offer could seem to be the answer of your dream job. Actually, i just received his email today and I'm so grateful that we were able check your website. It's really a great help for us!

GTI is a BIG SCAM. They promised me a job in Sheraton Park Tower, LOndon and one fine day they sent me an appointment Order along with Terms and conditions. The only loop hole they left for doubt was, they hurried for me to procure my visa papers and finally I had to call Sheraton Park Towers, London directly and I found that it was a scam. The Lady who picked up the phone at Sheraton Park Tower replied that any email or letter should be neglected. Thank god that I never paid Money. They requested for GBP 850.00. Let me give you the address and contact persons detail so that innocent people may get awareness regarding GTI.

I am giving a rejoinder about this internet scam victimizing unsuspecting job seekers. I am in the government service here in the Philippines and I am also looking for greener pastures by way of working in other countries. I listed in several job agencies thru the internet and I did get to have so many job offers particularly as nanny/aupair and the sorts. Anyway, all of them asked for money for the visa and other requirements such as work permit and insurances. I always played along fine with their modus operandi but I was aware that this was a scam. At the end, I would give them a tongue lashing and the most evil curse I could utter just to let them know that not all job seekers are that naive. Also, I once wrote the Police Department of a county in London to look after a certain address and a person claiming to live in the said address but to no avail. So we can say that even the London Police do not care about this plague and so it is all up to us, job seekers to be vigilant a... read more »

At first i have this feeling that this is my BIGGEST LUCK EVER! But when this certain MR. MESH BRANDO is such in a hurry to process my papers and asked me to decide asap, and coordinate with GTI London... well i had a hunch that it is a scam... I asked everyone around me and my friends in london about the address they gave me and Mr. Mesh is not even there. THIS IS A SCAM and NEVER GIVE MONEY! Never trust people that will give you the BRIGHTEST OFFER in a short span of processing time. Always refer to POEA for the validation of the agencies and job offers abroad.

Hey guys be sensible...better to be suspicious rather than to be sorry in the end...you know if at first they ask you money don't ever ever entertain that idea..your money will be in trouble. I know a friend of mine who was victimized by this agency GTI.as what other experienced they will give you a chance to have your contact with the employer but actually they are in conivance and if they stopped calling you or send email messages then that's the end...don't be stupid....hope that there's gov't agency that can help those who were victimized even if they are from different nations...to GTI know and be aware of this...KARMA

im so thankful that i was able to read this site. i also was about to be victimized by this alex andrea. this time he told me to contact ukvisafleet99. i searched the net and i discovered that its address is the same as that of GTI in London. much more, i read the warning of the Wise Sisters on this site.
I was told by visafleet99 to pay the amount of 1,300.00 pound for the work permit, visa fee, and my plane ticket...

i was doubting in the beginning because the grammar of this alex andrea and the people from the agency are faulty...i suspected that they were not really Britons and could be up to something unpleasant...

anyway, thanks to this site...i was able to avoid these scams.

Global Travel International is a scam. It used to be something you could do to make a little money. But with 40,000 agents Hotels laugh at the card they give you. It is not a real travel agent card. They try to tell you of all these discounts that are not real. Most discounts you can get on your own anyway. By the time they charge you their booking fees and annual fees you have to do a lot of travel first before you're even. Then airlines don't pay commission anymore. they are slow to pay commissions even though they have been paid months earlier. They are just not worth the fees anymore STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR MONEY

how can we screw people who are already screwed up, i mean that's why they have been feeding on other person's money, and they are also so clever... GTI is the scammer's front agency and then the GTI agent will email you if you contact them giving you the amount you have to pay them for processing etcetera and they will send you a visa form for you to fill up, etcetera... that visa form they are using is actually a form from the uk boarder agency,so any applicant will believe that the GTI scam is genuine if they will search for uk boarder agency(official British Government website for visa services) since the scammers used the uk boarder agency visa form. And the payments the GTI agent is asking is different from the visa fees as stated in the uk boarder agency,..then they will ask you to send the money in the name of a person through the western union etcetera, how can you pay a processing fee to an agency in the name of a person if they are working legally?.....very clever yet too s... read more »

Oh my! I didn't expect that this is already a scam. For that matter, I browsed the internet for possible job offer from the EUJOBSLY and found myself applying for a nanny position in the country of netherlands. The email addresses I contacted replied to me just yesterday. However, I found them odd since they have almost exactly the same e-mail content and exactly the same home address. Another thing was that their location is in London, while I found the advertisement in Netherlands. Now, they redirected me to globaltravelinter@yahoo.com to process for the travel papers and that the employers would want me to pay first for my travel expenses and assured of refunds once I got landed in London. What strikes me about is contract service only for one month. They have not assured me of anything after that which for me "just a gut feel" there's something fishy about this e-mail because they do not seemed likely the same to other emails I received as applied for nanny position. GTI wants me to send money thru western union amounting to 380pounds coz Mr. Murphy promised to pay for my Airfare. The GTI insists to pay the amount to process my papers. But, i don't agree on that way. I told them that i need an assurance, coz it's money what we're talking about not a piece of candy. I also told them that how will i know that they're really processing my papers. I also told that to Mr. Murphy and Mr. Murphy told me that he is my employer and he will not direct me to a wrong agency that what we need is trust. I was contacted by a Mr. Anderson of the UK to be an aupair for his 2 children (I never knew ages or so) and told me to contact GTI to work out my papers with a payment via Western Union of 850 pounds. We spoke little over the phone (He resisted at first) only to tell me to conect to msn. There he agreed to pay 350 pounds and since there he would only push me to make the deposit. the offer was very tempting (5000 pounds a month) but I started doubting and I searched for information about the address and so. Fortunately I found a lot of testimonies that its all a scam! thank you.

I am a Nanny and have been contacted by many people in the past few weeks wanting a nanny for their children. Quite a few of them have been using GTI as their travel agents and I am so glad I found this site or I may have been in big trouble. I noticed another person has written about a Dr Garry at 3 West Hampstead 224 Iverson Road in UK. I also received an email from him and once I asked if I could organise my own travel docs, not use their Agency, I didn't hear from him again. Am so glad I am not the only one receiving all these scams and think it's great that you can put the owrd out there like this to warn others.

Um. There seems to be some confusion here caused by a lack of understanding or somthing.

The review is for a travel agency, not a Nanny or Au Pair placement.

If you have worked with Global Travel International as a referral travel agent, please leave a comment.

If not, then please read the review. Does it look like it's about freakin' nanny service.

Probably some UK grifting outfit has the same name. GTI is in Florida, United States of America, not England or the UK.

For anyone considering becoming an Au Pair/Nanny with ANY agency, or ANY website on the internet, PLEASE *do your research!!* In two weeks from now, I'll be stepping on a plane for the other side of the world, to Au Pair for a wonderful family. And I will be doing so with COMPLETE confidence and assurance in my safety and wellbeing. Why?

-I sold myself high. I made sure that potential families knew, upfront, that I was worth being paid a good, fair salary.

-I didn't take the first offer. I'm not desperate, and so I made sure to choose a family that truly fit my experience and lifestyle.

-I did THOROUGH background checks. I asked for references from their previous nannies, and spoke in depth with them. I also did thorough research on the references, and made certain that they were who they said they were.

-I spoke and met "face to face" via Skype with the family before I ever committed. It's not foolproof, but it's doubtful someone is going to be willing to have a 30 minu... read more »

Dear AnoIznairah,

As I said in my first comment. Global Travel International can only be a scam and I'm glad you didn't send them any money, because you would never have heard from them again.

They should have called themselves Global International Travel and instead of GTI they could have been known as GIT, because that's what they are, GITS, for trying to rob trusting people like yourself out of hard earned money in the hope for a better life. It would appear that they would get up to any scam going, as long as they can relieve people of money for a broken promise.

By the way, it's Dr.Garry living in Iverson Road now and not Mr. Reinhart, according to these thieves. I wonder what other names they have dreamed up in order to steal money from people.

Keep me posted, because I would like to know what these crooks are up to.

Kindest Regards,

Geoff.

In connection to my inquiry this morning dated Dec. 14, 2008, re: address of my employer, Mr. Robert Reinhart, a friend of mine who is living in Kensington St. helped me in locating the said address: 3 Hampstead West, 224 Iverson Road, London NW6 2HX. Well, the address is exact BUT this home address which was given to me by Mr. Robert Reinhart as HIS home address actually belongs to Mr. John Sandy, a british national and according to my friend, that he havent met Mr. Reinhart in all his life. Since Global Travel International was referred by Mr. Reinhart to facilitate the necessary documents for me to go UK and have the job being offerred by Mr. Reinhart as his kids' auper/nanny,with bogus home address, does it mean that this transaction is a lead that this Larry Smith, manager of Global Travel International in Uk is also a scam? The address he gave me where I could send the money in the amount of 150pounds under his name is 59 Southey Court, Penton, Manchester, UK M34 7WX. I am opted ... read more »

A certain Mr. Robert Reinhart, wrote to me a letter that he's looking for an auper/nanny for his 2 kids and referred to me global travel Int'l to facilitate the papers for me. In an instant, Mr. Larry Smith, manager of global travel replied to process my papers within 5-7 days period and offerred 550pounds for the said processing of documents to be facilitated by globaltravel60@gmail.com. I told my employer that I cant pay the said amount n that will he pay for it against my salary? He said that he wont shoulder it all as he was also victimized by someone wherein he paid it all and went to other employer and asked me any amount I can share and he will cover the rest. I said that I can only afford 150 pounds. The following day, Mr. Larry Smith replied that Mr. Reinhart had paid 300 pounds to them via western Union and asked me how soon I can send my share. They are not a scam you guys are confusing the one in the UK with the one in Florida... the one in Florida is a legit business and gives you the ability to make good money... I know this because I'm a travel agent with them and i've earn a decent income from them. However, the one in the UK in not associated with the one in Florida.

I wanted to own my own online travel agency and get personal discounts on my own travel. Well GTI made several promises including that would a real travel agent ID card that could be used anywhere. Well that is not true. I got laughed and and one hotel GM told I was not a legal travel agent. In OK GTI must be registered with OK Securities Commission and approved before solicting to OK legal residents which I am. They are not registered and the authoritied in OK are looking at this. By law GTI is supposed to refund all money I have invested or paid. IATA states that GTI must pay all commissions in order to keep their status with IATA. As of today GTI has refused to pay commissions and refund any money. They have also taken more money from my checking account even though I cancelled and withdrew my authorization on 9-1-08. This is illegal to take money electronically from a US bank account. They only had my debit/ credit card not the actual account number. My bank is cooperating with me ... read more »
