Google Home Business Kit Review
Is the Google Kit a Scam...?
Recently there has been a wave of work at home programs all claiming that
they can show you how to make money from Google. They all sell a Google
Home Business Kit for a low shipping and handling fee from $1.99 - $3.88.
These programs consist of a CD, and a membership website that hosts the
courses. The lessons teach you how to use Google AdWords to place advertisements
for programs that you are an affiliate for.
They also advocate setting up fake blogs and websites to advertise the same
Google Kit that you just bought. You may have seen ads like these on
Facebook and MySpace. Don't be fooled by these and other sites claiming
that you can make money from these programs; any income they're receiving is
simply from referring more people to join these sites.
So Are These Google Biz Kits Scams...?
The catch with all these programs is that once you submit your billing info
to pay for the S&H you automatically agree to their membership program.
When you apply for the Google Home Business Kit you're also authorizing them to
charge you a membership fee of up to $70 a month.
This is why these Google Home Business Kits have been called out as serious
scams. Most people don't see the fine print which they have cleverly
hidden throughout their site. Then a month later they're shocked to see a
fee of $70 which they haven't authorized.
There have also been thousands of complaints made against these Google Kit
companies, by people who've been charged the monthly fees without even receiving
the CD's and membership info.
Now, the guys running these scams are not stupid and are obviously very good at
what they do. They've taken many measures to ensure that they can keep
operating their scams long term. This includes hiding their
websites' URLs and consistently changing the names of their programs.
This is what makes my job so difficult, it's almost impossible to keep up
with them. When one product is no longer selling they simply change the
name and viola they have a new Google Home Business Kit to sell. For
instance they've just switched the name to Google Money Master.
By the time there're enough complaints and articles exposing them they've
already moved on to a new name and website. I want to show you some
examples of these Google Kit sites which you should avoid, I'm also including a
long list of program names that they've used in the past along with a collection
of fake affiliate blogs that they use to promote them.
Examples of Earn Google Cash Sites to Beware of...
These websites were advertised through a series of fake blogs set up specifically to sell Google Biz Kits. Most were filled
with pictures of a young person, their big checks from Google, and fake comments towards the bottom.
Recently, these scammers have switched to using fake news paper articles to promote the Google BizKits. They often use names (and even logos) like the Los Angeles Times or ABC News and feature a top "story" of how you can make a fortune by simply purchasing one of these Google Kits. You should be wary of any such news articles as they're popping up everywhere.
Here's an example of these fake blog and news sites...
If you see an ad for one of these blogs or "newspapers" save yourself the time and don't
visit them, as they'll only redirect you to one of these Google Home Business
Kits.

Average Rating: BabyBoy Oregon | 6:37pm on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 | I've been thinking about signing up for the Google Biz Kit for a few days now, until I came upon this website. Now I'm having second thoughts. All I'm trying to do is make a few extra bucks. Is there anything out there that ISN'T a scam??? |
sue Florida | 2:27pm on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 | Don't fall for this scam. I am headed for the bank tomorrow to cancel my cash card. I canceled, but they said the $1.97 was already charged..no stopping. I had a cancel confirmation number from them...but, don't trust that. Now, I see a charge I didn't authorize on my bank statement for $9.50 besides the $1.97. IT may never stop. If you still have the same account after giving them access....change your card or cancel your account.
I am not working and thought this might be legitimate...but it's not. I can't afford to lose any money. |
Richard Florida | 2:11pm on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 | I've read a few articles now that warn, if it's employment you're looking for and the posting is asking YOU, the future employee to pay them for something, whether it's a post fee, registration fee, equipment fee, processing fee or what ever, DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM!!!!!! |
Kim Texas | 11:30am on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 | I saw an article this morning about a woman claiming this was a great way to make money at home. Im a single mother with no child support and figured this would be the best way to increase my income with two kids. I was just about to put my CC info in and something told me to stop. I couldn't find the on the Better Business site and when reading all the success articles, I notice the picture of the check has the same background for every person. Red shirt with white pen stripes in the background..ummm |
JD Seattle | 8:10am on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 | I also saw the Google kit and thought it would be a great part time job and applied like an idiot. And to think that I'm quite careful about these things. I applied 7/26 and nothing in the mail, just an email directing me to 2 sites with a log in name and a password....I checked out the site but got a funny feeling about the whole thing. I checked my bank account and nothing but the $1.95 has been charged. Call your bank and cancel your atm / credit card and get a new one sent. If you're enrolled in some Identity Theft thing such as LifeLock, probably a good idea to let them know so that there'll be a fraud alert sent out. |
matt huntersville nc | 9:30pm on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 | pretty interesting, the link I went on to check out this google thing was talking about a Mary and Kevin Steadman from Huntersville N.C. and how they were doing so great at this making money? I live in Huntersville and have been trying to find these folks to find out the real skinny and no luck? Be careful!!!! |
Jeff Arizona | 1:43pm on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 | I feel so stupid. I paid the $1.95 about 2 weeks ago. No Kit... Instead I found a $70.00 charge on my bank account today which lead me to research this as a possible scam.
Two weeks ago I had a baby. We're down to one income and I saw a site that claimed you'd make money from home. Like a fool I thought I found the answer to my financial issues. For a while I was even proud of finding the site and even dreaming of what I would do with the money... My wife totally said it was a scam to begin with...
HAHA the jokes on me... I'm the dumb one of the week. Guess I better get a second job. |
EzLivin Ranch Az | 8:29am on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 | The ads posted on Fox News' web site is NOT for me. I saw the ads and thought it might be nice to make a few extra dollars. So I signed up - I mean who wouldn't trust it - It was put on Fox News. Anyway, as for me it is a SCAM! Several charges were applied to my credit card that I did not authorize nor did I know these sites existed (Gillmap Blogprofit 888-935-4503, Dineforlessnow.com 888-240-6109, and Clubsave-1.com 800-922-3615). My bank, Wells Fargo, called to verify these charges. Since I had made a charge of a similar amount I thought I was being called to verify that one - not so! Be careful out there - It is a dangerous world! |
Hayley New York | 7:30am on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 | So very thankful to whomever posted this, because that's exactly what these websites do to you, and I might have fell for it, but decided to look the whole kit thing up first. Glad I skimmed through this Google Kit SCAM article because I would of been mad as hell, if I got scammed by another website..
Thanks People....
GREATLY APPRECIATED |
Z Baltimore, md | 8:30pm on Friday, July 31st, 2009 | OMG!!! I was just about to get this tonight and I found this website. This is absolutely awful that this is a scam. But the real question is why hasnt Google put something out to deny these scammers. Its driving the Google name in the ground and im pretty sure there are tons of people who are falling for this at too Late of time. Very sad...And im very grateful to find this site right before i put in my information. |

kika2000 Texas | 7:27pm on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | Unfortunately I read this too late!! I signed up for that BS this morning. I realized it was a scam when I received a confirmation email which seemed very bizarre. I immediately called my bank and had my cc canceled. However, it ruined my entire day!! these people need to be put in jail!!! |
Heather Chicago | 11:40am on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | I logged on to the site, but decided against in last minute. I did provide my full name, but I did not give any credit card information. After my time ran out, I was offered a special reduced price. Also, a live chat appeared. They were very anxious to have a commitment on the spot (stating something like "I don't mean to sound BOLD, but it's only $1.14.") Like I said, I didn't submit my cc info. I'm in the clear, right? Oh cr*p. They do have my email. I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of SPAM. |
Mike D | 10:39am on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | Glad I stumbled upon your site THANKS!! very much. |
Alain Montreal | 10:35am on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | Advice to everybody,
raise an alert on your credit file at the credit bureau (equifax, transunion...etc.) because now those guys might have some personal information.
Have you ever heard of identity theft? |
r Hardy herndon va | 10:01am on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | my girlfriend and I signed up for the Google biz kit, and received absolutely nothing. No email, nothing in the us postal mail, no phone call. Thank God we called within the 7 day trial period to cancel. We are still watching our accounts though. |
Claude Davis Birmingham al | 5:36am on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 | I ordered the kit 7/22/09 have not received it, noticed the same people that was from some place other than Birmingham, now are from Birmingham that appear on the ads. do not like what i see, its not good. |
Shawn Montana | 6:58am on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 | I receive emails about this all the time and my husband wanted to try it as I am disabled and we have a hard time making ends meet on his income and my disability. I told him to let me research it first as I know there are a million scams out there. It took me less than 5 minutes on the web to find out this was in fact a scam. People need to beware of these get rich quick schemes. I have since opened an online store selling for a reputable company. It may never make me rich but it's legitimate work and is bringing in a little extra money to make our lives easier. |

Kathy Sacramento | 11:17am on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 | I saw one of those ads for Google Money Master, and it took me to an "article" in a "newspaper" called the Philadelphia Gazette. So I Googled for the Philadelphia Gazette, and discovered that it was a newspaper run by Benjamin Franklin. He is no longer around, and neither is his newspaper. I got suspicious because I had hit that site twice - last week and today, and the dateline on the article changed to the day before I was reading it each time. Good thing I'm paranoid.
And thanks to the person who suggested reading the terms & conditions! That's a great tip! |
Corey Philadelphia | 10:56am on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 | "Google Biz Kit"
I made same mistake, but had the bank cancel and replace my card so they couldn't take hidden charges. |
TS Location unknown | 9:16am on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 | This is BS and does not work it is a rip-off, the web page does not even have a contact link at the bottom of the page, which is a huge warning sign to stay away. |
Dora Jackson Kentucky | 6:16am on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 | I need a phone number to cancel this google SCAM as the number showing on my bank statement has been disconnected. Any one have a phone number to Cancel the Google Adwords Internet Success Kit? |
Stephanie Indiana | 1:43pm on Monday, July 27th, 2009 | Can someone please give me the number for Home Biz Kit... I didn't authorize the $70.00 transaction and would like to cancel..
Thanks |
JW Washington | 5:59am on Monday, July 27th, 2009 | I wish I have read all of these posts a LONG time ago. BEWARE! The whole Grants.com, etc. is a total and complete scam. I'd like to think I am done fighting with them but I doubt it. If you see any charges on your cc with the location of Salt Lake City and/or Las Vegas get on it FAST. The most despicable folks in the world preying on those who simply want to make a living. |
Michele Riverdale, GA | 1:10am on Monday, July 27th, 2009 | Hey Ashley,
I have done almost the exact same thing as you. Researched a little too late. But I called my bank maybe 15mins later and had my card canceled so they wouldn't make any additional charges. |
James USA | 2:53pm on Sunday, July 26th, 2009 | Don't dare give out your phone number. I made the mistake of giving them my cell phone. Check this. They called me on Friday & Saturday a sum total of 39 times. No joking here.
I never answered because I did not recognize the number of caller ID. However, I did call back and the autovoice said "press 1 to wait for a representative, press 2 to be placed on our do not call list".
I pressed 2 but they continued to call a few more times, then stopped. |
Brenda Australia | 11:43am on Sunday, July 26th, 2009 | I was so close to falling for this. The "Success Story" woman really sounded fair dinkum. It was mentioning a seminar she went to in Melbourne and the following: "There is no risk, that is the beauty of working with Google. All I needed was some hand holding, and thankfully the Internet Home Business Kit is such an awesome guide tailored to computer illiterate people like myself! $2.80 is not much of a risk if you ask me, even if you are tens of thousands in debt like I was! I wrote this to let the world know that you don't have to go through what I ended up going through. I certainly wish someone would have helped me out when I was at my lowest point, but thankfully I attended that conference and met the people I did meet. Now I can safely pass this information onto others." Ha, what a joke, no risk; working with google. Google my butt!! The only thing that prevented it was when i went to the link they provided it wasnt called "Internet Home Business Kit" as they described it in all their customers so called comments. so i googled those words and found a long list of Scam stories such as the above peoples. Be Aware! Nothings ever that easy is is? |
Kyle Texas | 2:54am on Sunday, July 26th, 2009 | Thanks every1 for ur input and advice. You have all saved me from making a mistake. i was just about to enter credit card info, when i decided to read all this.... THANK YOU SO MUCH!! |
Alain Montreal | 9:25pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | Now a name and address found from another Complaints Board:
Jared Pierce

is it real? I don't know but you can investigate on your own now because I have to prepare my own case to fight my Credit Card Company in court...at least that's a start... |
Alain Montreal | 9:18pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | I also found another matching address on a Complaints Board regarding Grant Research Guide:

from one of the "complaints board" matching

it is :

Good Luck |
Alain Montreal | 6:48pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | Google Map this address and find where they are, you can have a pretty good street view...I suspect those who steal our money all come from this same address:
5348 Vegas Drive Suite 866
Las Vegas, Nevada, NV 89108 |
Jesse Georgia | 2:39pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | I think the national media should get a hold of this and blow it out of the water.I am unemployed
and was thinking of trying this.I guess the old adage is ,("If it looks too good to be true"),it probably is a scam. Anyone who has been screwed on this should contact the people who issued the card to you( Master Card,American Express.etc..),
and explain to them that the product you received
was not how it was explained to and that you wish for it to be reversed (the charge)on your card.
It' worked for me more than once. Good Luck!!! |
Ann Virginia | 1:51pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | I have learned to be overly cautious these days but somehow this appeared to me to have been reported on the news as one of the good 'make money from home' jobs. I entered my info quickly and then read the terms & agreement. "THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE RESULTS AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WEB SITES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE ASSUMED BY YOU. IF THE WEB SITES, PRODUCTS, SERVICES OR WRITTEN MATERIALS HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE OR HARM IN ANY WAY, YOU, AND NOT OUR COMPANY, ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION." Is this scary or what?
"This offering is a contract between you the buyer and our business, the seller. The seller is located in Pasig City, Philippines and by doing business with us you agree that this offering is made from Pasig City, Philippines and shall be governed by the laws of the Philippines ... By electing to participate in this offer, you are entering into a contract.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines , without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any legal action arising out of this Agreement shall be litigated and enforced under the laws of the Philippines. In addition, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines, and that any legal action pursued by you shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines in Pasig City, Philippines.
The terms constituting this offering are set forth in writing on this Web site. You hereby agree to submit to the jurisdiction located in Pasig City, Philippines to resolve any disputes or litigation hereunder. Whether or not you choose to print this offering, containing the terms and conditions as described herein, you agree that this contract constitutes a writing. "
Immediately after I entered my CC info I got a sick feeling. I found the terms and agreement, part of which is above, and then decided to call my CC company and explained what I had done. The woman checked my account and said nothing had been posted to my account yet and then said they could close my account and issue a new card and number, which I did.
This is way too scary. |
Alain Montreal | 1:08pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | Ashley, run to the bank and cancel your card close your account and/or if you can reduce to the minimum your credit limit...These guys are fast so act faster than them if you can....Good Luck. |
Alain Montreal | 1:03pm on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | Thanks Sandy and be careful, if you can take some pictures (very discretely), we don't know what we're dealing with. Have somebody with you. Thanks again.
I keep finding complaints about this thing ALL OVER CONSUMERS FORUMS and in one of them I read about the general attorney of Texas who's reaching some actions against those guys. This scam is pure evil and as long as people keep talking about it "David will bring down Goliath". Patience... |
sandy las vegas | 2:02am on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 | I live in Vegas and when I have time am going to drive by the address given in one of the blogs to see what it looks like. |
Ashley Palestine | 10:45pm on Friday, July 24th, 2009 | I JUST signed up for it and got a horrible feeling. I researched it, a bit late, and now I feel like hurling. It's not even my debit card, it's my husband's. Is this going to screw up his entire bank acount? It's 10:44PM So no numbers will work tonight and we are going to the bank tomorrow. Any advice? I feel really guilty and sick. He's been laid off and needs money and I just screwed him out of God only knows how much.
Please HELP ME. |
Marcus Aurelius Austin, Texas | 2:35pm on Friday, July 24th, 2009 | Where are they based out of? Can somebody track down where they are operating from and bring legal action to shut them down for some sort of deceptive advertising / bad trade practices? Also, what bank in their right mind would want to give them a merchant account given the volume of chargebacks I'm sure they receive? |
Stephanie Ohio | 1:10pm on Friday, July 24th, 2009 | I also was about to invest into that after I read about the woman making 5500.00 a month, and it was backed up by the msn, etc.
Thank you for all the input. |

Geoff Sumter, SC | 9:04pm on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 | Now we all know how google became so wealthy. Their affiliate program where you have to pay to advertise for another company. Well the affiliate company is not spending a dime, you are paying to advertise for their company on google's pay per click site. The affiliate company is saving money on advertising, and google is taking your money everytime someone clicks on your ad. If someone clicks and decides to buy the product you are advertising, the affliliate company only pays you anywhere fron $1.00 to $5.00. But remember this, even if someone clicks on your ad and does not decide to buy the product, you still get charged for the click. I believe google is doing the clicking at times to exhaust your funds. And when your funds are exhausted you have to add more funds. Where do you think this money is going? To google of course. Hope this advice turns on the light bulbs in your head. |

Alain Montreal | 1:58pm on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 | Watch out:
Their original website detects the location of the visitor and insert it in the text of the webpage.
Per Example if you were in Vancouver the title would be : « Vancouver Job Journal" instead of « Montreal Job Journal ». The text describes the story of a woman from (location detected) who just lost her job now makes up to $87/hour. She says in the article that only by following the steps mentioned at the bottom of the page and paying a few fees for registering you can make a lot of money. When you follow the steps it opens a page containing a form to fill in. At the bottom of that page there is a link called « Full Terms and Conditions » which hides monthly fees to pay. If you fill in the form without opening that link you will be charged by that company and a whole lot of affiliate companies. At the bottom of the main page there is a little « bogus » forum to back up the text of the main page. Try to leave a message for fun, you will find the message at the bottom : « Comments Closed Due To Spam (back soon) ». This page changes often pictures, names but the story is basically the same most of the time and targets the same customers : « the unemployed » or people who just lost their jobs. My Credit Card Company is unable to supply me with any address of those affiliate companies charging me. |
Scott South Carolina | 10:06am on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 | I did not know about this. Thank you so much for exposing them. They have not had a chance to bill me that money yet; however, I am having my card canceled and will have another one sent to me very soon. This is ridiculous!!!! |

Please help!

I found the charge of $68.21 on my card that I gave hem for $1.95 and there was their number:
(866)620-8803
I called and very rude lady "customer service" interrupted me several times talking to me like a machine, but I got them to cancel my "membership" and got e-mail confirmation. That didn't stop me from cancelling that card through my bank and filing unauthorized charges dispute. |
Jamal Walker Dallas Texas | 8:10pm on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | I made the mistake of signing up for this program. I am a full-time student, and I work part-time, get no sleep and barely make ends meet...I would have been SURPRISED if so much as a penny more than the $1.83 had been taken out of my account. What clued me in was when on one of the pages, it said 7 DAY FREE TRIAL. I thought, well, how much would it cost on day 8? That's when I googled "GOOGLE MONEY MASTERS SCAM" and it saved me a lot of heartache... |
Joseph Norris St Petersburg, Fl. | 12:36pm on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | I sent for info on the Google program Fast Cash. They asked a fee of three dollars and change .This was for shipping and receiving ,information from Google and a c.d to view.Without having received the said information ,my credit card was billed for the amount of $84.79.I called my credit card which is through my bank. The young gentleman I spoke with put in for part of the refund .He suggested I view the C.D and if I felt I wouldn't find an advantage in using either the written info or the c.d ,to call him back in August.I am a retiree and on a fixed income . Please be advised that I will seek to seek reimbursement through whatever means that are necessary to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments |
Selva OH | 9:40am on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | Thank god . I read about this Google money master kit in one of local city news.
Like everyone , I was also planning to enter my information , then my sixth sense told me to google about this . Its saves me a lot . Thanks a ton . |
Can Arlington, VA | 7:43am on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | I was laid off a year ago and funds were very low and getting lower. I pride myself on knowing a scam when I see it boy was I wrong on this one. The pitch that was so obvious when signing up to the right of the ad there was this section that read "Not affiliated with Google". Shortly after I read this I still pressed the submit button. In my mind I saw the check that was so-called from Google. Once I hit the submit button there was a long list of companies that I had authorized to charge my credit card - various companies that would cost me $70 to $150 a month. I immediately called them and tried to cancel - this is when I got the run around and the constant recording of high call volume and someone would answer within 3 minutes. Of course no one ever came to the phone. I also read that I had 7 days to cancel - I was trying to cancel on the same day. Two days later they charged my card for $ 50 dollars. The $50 dollars that they said would not be charged for 7 days. I called my bank that issued my card and explained to them what had happened. They were very sympathetic and issued me a credit and started an investigation. I also told them about the other companies that would be charging my card which I did not find out until I hit the submit button. They cancelled my card and sent me another. So my advice to all - call you financial institution and explain the problem you might have to eat some of this mistake but eating a small amount such as $50 to $100 is better than amounts in the thousands. Good Luck to all and pass the word so this scam can stop. |
Scott J Mesa, AZ | 12:08am on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009 | I knew this was trouble when the link I clicked on took me to a newspaper story on Working Online and the name of the paper it was suppose to be from was the Mesa Gazette News....I have lived in Mesa for 17 years and the Gazette has been gone for at least the last 10 years if not longer.... |
Apostle Washington, D.C. | 11:18pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | I THANK GOD FOR YOU LETTING PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS! I WAS FOOLED OUT OF $3.88 & $84.79. IT WAS ON WWW.MSN.COM HOME PAGE CLAIMING THAT A WOMAN IN MARYLAND WAS MAKING $5,500 A MONTH MAKING GOOGLE LINKS AND THAT CNN, ABC, NBC, etc. BACKED HER STORY. |
Nola Baytown, TX | 11:08pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | I've been unemployed for the past two months. As a single parent of three, I am constantly looking through the ads seeking employment. I came across many of these "work at home" ads and my eyes lite up like a christmas tree. I was like "this is a dream come true". I read a testimonial fr. some guy saying this is the one to try and that the other ones were scams. He almost had my ass, talking about it was seen on ABC, CNN, USA Today, etc., etc. My eyes were wide as Betty Boo thinking this is legit, but something told me to google the info. and glad i did, because that bastard was gonna get all my info. and probably steal my identity etc. Thanks for listening to that little voice, cause it saved me. I want to thank all the others who blogged to warn honest folks like us about these scams. |
Lanette St.Louis | 10:20pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | Am going through some tough times like everyone else but I recently was diagnosed with a brain tumor for which I had to have radiation (which my insurance wouldn't cover) so I thought I would look into the Google thing. I thought I was just purchasing the kit to "look" at ... then I received a phone call from the company the next day evidently trying to sell me some other sumthin sumthin to go with the program and I told them "no" because it was going to cost me 75.00 a month or any more money that the 2.97 I already spent that I didn't want any more to do with it. 3 weeks later I see a charge for 75.00 in my account to this strange name. I called my bank and they got the number of the company that withdrew the amount and I called them. They said that even though I told the guy on the phone when he called me that I didn't want to continue the program, because I didn't call another "specific" number listed on the web page within the 7 day "trial" period that I didn't actually cancel the program that he was asking me about something else. I told the foreign girl on the other end of the line that I told the guy to NOT enroll me in anything and that I wanted a full refund and to take me "off the list".. she was rude and short with me. STAY AWAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Not sure if I will ever see that 75.00 again. |
Chocochip North Carolina | 7:12pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | I did not sign up for this kit, but read the Terms and Conditions on the site, which state that buy signing up you agree to being automatically billed monthly.
"Please note: Upon ordering your Internet Success Kit, you will be billed $3.88 as a processing fee and you will receive the downloadable product... As a member of the Internet Success Membership Website, you will be automatically billed $67 per month." (Terms and Conditions)
The Terms and Conditions also have an authorization clause that states that you legally give your permission to receive such charges.
" I authorize Web Pros to charge my credit card a processing fee of $3.88 for my Internet Success System. Should I not cancel within 7 days after ordering my Internet Success System as described above, I also authorize Web Pros to charge my credit card $67 for the Internet Success Membership Website. I authorize Web Pros to charge my credit card $67 every 30 days thereafter for the continuing of the Internet Success Membership Website until I choose to cancel the membership. I understand that I will be billed for any time period before I cancel the Internet Success Membership Website. I understand that I can call Web Pros on their toll-free number during their normal business hours if I have any questions."
Even though they don't advertise that one should read these terms and conditions, conveniently at the bottom of the screen in size 8 or lower font if I'm not mistaken, the person signing up should always look for this. This is especially true if that person is giving out their information.
And even though the sites advertising this money making scam talk about google making billions does not in any way affiliate them with google. This is also stated at the bottom of the page, "Google Success is not affiliated with or endorsed by or in any way associated with Google."
Please be safe with your information! |
Vicki Texas | 6:05pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | I purchased what I thought was a Make profits with Google and Google Money Manager. One was $1.95 shipping and the other $1.97 shipping charges. Two weeks went by then four weeks no Kits. To my surprise on my credit card statement was not only the shipping charge but three other charges totaling $150.00. Not a happy camper to say the least. |
Rocky Chicago | 4:46pm on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | Wow! My friend did that the other day like a moron and entered all his information. Is there a way to cancel the buy or at least get rid of paying the hidden fee of 70 dollars a month? |
Landon DeSha Hickory NC | 10:38am on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | Thank you for showing this to people. My wife and I saw the google money making site and was wowed by what it had to offer. We discussed it and decided to make the move the next day. I sat down at the computer the next day just looking around and I stumbled on to this page. Thank god I read about these scams. I feel bad for those of you who fell victim to these scams. I have two kids and my wife and I are both unemployed at this time and barely make ends meet with my unemployment check. Thanks for showing this and to hell with these scammers!! |
nancy GA | 7:51am on Monday, July 20th, 2009 | Just about had me...about the time I was going to go for the 'ole credit card info and light bulb went off, so I decided to do a search on this outfit. Viola! I came across this article that I was so VERY thankful for because I caused me from going through a whole lot of mental anguish of being ripped off. Thank you. |
kellied New Orleans | 8:26pm on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 | If anyone asks for money up front it's a scam pure and simple. If they ask for money up front stay away. Call your local BBB for more info. |
Andy MA | 8:00pm on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 | I wonder if it is possible for everyone who got scammed to get together to sue/fight them in court. At least get the FBI involved to take them down. Then maybe make ads "How to make money at home by scamming scammers" |
derf northhollywood | 1:57pm on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 | this program does not work, never buy it |

Anonymous Location unknown | 1:33am on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 | I got a pop-up from a site and it brought me to one of those "Google is hiring!" sites called "Google Pay Day!" and I scrolled to the bottom and laughed cuz it said "Google does not sponsor, endorse, and is no way affiliated with Google Pay Day. I thought to myself... If "Google is hiring" why does this say they have nothing to with it. Bah, stupid scammers. |
Jenn Tennessee | 7:50pm on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 | I became interested in the opportunity, although very skeptical. I put in my information & then it took me to the page to put in my credit card #. I didn't feel good about it, so I did some research on a reputable website & viola...I found your article! Thanks so much for confirming my gut feeling. I may have to deal with a lot of spam & annoying phone calls now, but at least they don't have my bank info. |

L Diann McRee Quanah, TX | 9:34am on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 | One ad uses Mary and Kevin Steadman as examples of people who are making a bundle in Quanah, TX. Looked on an investigative site as well as online phone books. No Kevin Steadman in Texas at all. No Mary in Quanah, either. We have only about 3,000 people here so it is hard to miss someone when searching, especially as the jobs they had just lost were very unlikely in this area.
Is there such a thing as work from home that is legit? Everything I research has holes in it galore. Thanks, Diann |
Brian Nebraska | 12:38am on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 | FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
DONT DO IT YOU WILL BE SORRY AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR CHECKING AND CC # IT IS FRAUD EVEN AFTER YOU CALL THEM FOR A REFUND THEY ARE SCREAMING AT YOU AND CALLING YOU A IDIOT. THAT RIGHT I WAS FOR EVEN GIVING THEM THE TIME OF DAY. I HAD TO CLOSE ALL MY ACCOUNTS SINCE THERE ALL LINKED TOGETHER. DON'T BECOME A VICTIM LIKE I DID !!! |
Emily Wright Port Richey ,Florida | 5:22pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | It is a sign of the times. We are going through a great recession, people losing jobs,no money and everyone in dire need. I too almost got sucked into the vortex by what sounds like a good in home opportunity.Shame on the people trying to take advantage of a, already ravaged and suffering population. Thank you Steve and every one for the input and helping me not to lose money that I don't even have, ever $1.99 is alot of money now a days when you have none. Thank you again and God bless for being an internet watch dog! |
kathy Location unknown | 5:19pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | I fell for this scam. they charged me for the cd which I NEVER GOT! then a charge of $70.00 for access to whatever website to learn everything from. WHAT A SCAM!! I CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE CREDIT CARD BILLING. GOT SOME YOUNG GIRL ACCUSED HER OF NOT PROVIDING ME WITH ANY CD AND NO ACCESS TO THE SITE. SHE SAID THEY DON'T SEND OUT CDS THEY DO IT ONLINE. SO A POTENTIAL COMPUTER HACK EXISTS.MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFO ON YOUR COMP!! |
Dr Robin Rushlo Iowa City Iowa | 4:00pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | I have been in the Home Based Business industry for over 38 years. This is just a scam to take money out of your pocket. I teach daily at a radio show about this kind of scam what are real programs. They all require work. 2 to 7 hours a day 5 days a week and in 6 month to 18 month have an income of 15k a month but it takes work. Money will never fall in your lap without work. |
Marcu Jefferson City | 2:43pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | ya I signed up for one of those google scams and they took 85 dollars out of my count and it really screwed me over for the month. |
Lance Slaton,Tx | 2:28pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | Buyer beware!!!!!!! This is not legitimate. I just received my cd today. Looked it over. Very enticing. My biggest mistake was not doing research and clicking on key words for scams, before I ordered.I really messed up by not reading the disclaimer at the bottom(how stupid of me!). Program is designed to make you want to jump on the $$$ wagon right now. After all I read on THIS website, I felt really ill. I did call 866-737-8571. Got the run-around at first. They had already billed me for the 84.79, but they were going to give me back 49.86!? I had to tell the young lady that I wanted all my money back, that my wife and I were recently unemployed and I was very upset. After putting me on hold to (supposedly) talk to her supervisor, for the third time, I should have a credit to my account in the next 24-48 hours. We'll see. I will keep everyone posted. Hopefully all will end well. Don't do it unless you are ready to lose well over $1000, in the first year alone. I'm getting really sick of the so-called bait and switch BS! It's FREE deals, pay only $2.99 for s & h, then we are going to ruin your bank account deals!! someone needs to get rid of these snake oil sellers and put them down for good. Make them pay and serve prison time for this garbage! |
Marie Taos, NM | 2:00pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | I got hooked on a advertisment that said "Lady in Taos, NM making lots of money with Google Money system" or something to that effect. It sounded real good but I decided to do a little research of this girl here in Taos, it is a small enough town that everyone knows everyone. No one has seen or knows anything about this girl. So looks like I made the right choice not to buy! |
Marjorie MD | 1:23pm on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | I cannot believe that I signed up for this! I never even got my username (bc my email saw it as spam, which it is). Then all of a sudden a week later my bank called me to report suspicious charges on my card which overdrew my account. I can't even believe that i did this, but I never even saw any fine print. This is a ridiculous scam and something should be done to these ppl who are putting it out there.
Actually, the guy who called me to follow-up about my purchase was from NJ and i still have his number in my phone. |
Anne-Marie Ontario Canada | 10:18am on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | The name they're using now is Google ATM. |
Lyme Miami, FL | 12:39am on Friday, July 17th, 2009 | I'm in a desperate economic situation and trying to find a job, applying here and there, I found one of such fake blogs that made me think about getting the "start kit". But I'm very skeptic, and as this looked so good to be real, I immediately went to make my search trough Google under "Easy Google Cash" and found this blessed place. You have no idea how grateful I am. This good action that you are making against those evil people, it's going to reflect back on your life as something really big and good. When you help people in situations like this, where are some many involved, the effect is enormous. God bless you and give you millions of good thing for keeping us from this terrible situation. |
Grisel Miami, FL | 11:39pm on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 | I just ordered the Money Kit I think. I still have the phone in my cell for anybody who needs to try and cancel as I will tomorrow. It is 1-800-903-1327. What I need to know is what to do to stop them from charging me for any monthly charges. PLEASE HELP. |
tt ohio ohio | 4:23pm on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 | Crap!! I signed up for this earlier...I'm not sure how I can cancel it now. It seemed legit from what I read out of a local online news article. They also tried to get me to try some trial membership with "Health Tracker"...thank God I was able to cancel that. |
Andrea California | 3:40pm on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 | I so just got scammed this morning. I feel so stupid. I usually check things like this out. I just trusted the google name--little did I know it was "goog1e" (the l being a number 1). They look identical. Right now I am trying to find a phone number so I can contact them. I tried 1-800-407-4998 and they said they have no record of me, which I find hard to believe. Next time I will come to your site first. Thanks |
RA Fl | 1:31pm on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 | I'm in the same boat as most of the folks who commented - looking for a way to make some extra $ from home.
I was very suspicious when I saw the adds saying you could make $5000 - $7000 a week with "Google Money Master". I figured that if this was true, Google would have half of their work force on line using their own program!!!
Foutunately I found this site and my suspicions were confirmed. Thanks to all who contributed !! |
val queens | 11:20pm on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 | Wow! I was going to purchase the GOOGLE-KIT last night, but i was to tired, so i decided to check it out tonight until i reached this page. I knew in my heart that it was a scam, and believe me i lost plenty of money in the past with these B.S scams. I was doing research on it and like i said i found this site and decided to read up on what everyone had to say about it, and thank God i did.Like i always say, "If it's to true to be true", then run away from it. Always read the small prints before you order anything, and do some research before you spend your hard earned money. My heart goes out to all those that were suckered into it,especially in these hard times. |
Bill Dallas, TX | 8:13pm on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 | I followed some link about google money master and it took me to a "newspaper" article about some guy in the town where I work making 5-7k/month. I started to do it, then realized that the article was from the "Los Angeles Tribune." I could've sworn the LA paper was the "Los Angeles Times," so I googled it and sure enough, the light bulb went off. Then I thought, "Why would anyone from Los Angeles know about anyone from Wylie, TX (a very small commuter town)?" SCAM!!! |
RZ Arizona | 2:55pm on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 | This is so a scam, google charged 79.00 to my card because I clicked a box, I at least was able to tell the young girl on the other side that one day she will look back and hopefully realize that taking money from people the way they are going about it is wrong and one day she may have the same thing happen to her. I will never trust this site again. Google Biz Kit Stinks! |
julie Pennsylvania | 2:32pm on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 | I was about to get this- and then I saw this site. I went back and called the customer service number they had on the website out of curiosity (866 737 8571) and after holding only about a minute it disconnected. SCAM- thank everyone on here ! I hope these people get caught and get put away for life. |
Wendy pomona Pomona, ca | 11:38am on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 | Google home business kit! took me for 70.00. I work hard for my money, and not to give it to some scams like this. They SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF Themselves, TAKING ADVANTAGE. OF PEOPLE. |
