Google Home Business Kit Review
Is the Google Kit a Scam...?
Recently there has been a wave of work at home programs all claiming that
they can show you how to make money from Google. They all sell a Google
Home Business Kit for a low shipping and handling fee from $1.99 - $3.88.
These programs consist of a CD, and a membership website that hosts the
courses. The lessons teach you how to use Google AdWords to place advertisements
for programs that you are an affiliate for.
They also advocate setting up fake blogs and websites to advertise the same
Google Kit that you just bought. You may have seen ads like these on
Facebook and MySpace. Don't be fooled by these and other sites claiming
that you can make money from these programs; any income they're receiving is
simply from referring more people to join these sites.
So Are These Google Biz Kits Scams...?
The catch with all these programs is that once you submit your billing info
to pay for the S&H you automatically agree to their membership program.
When you apply for the Google Home Business Kit you're also authorizing them to
charge you a membership fee of up to $70 a month.
This is why these Google Home Business Kits have been called out as serious
scams. Most people don't see the fine print which they have cleverly
hidden throughout their site. Then a month later they're shocked to see a
fee of $70 which they haven't authorized.
There have also been thousands of complaints made against these Google Kit
companies, by people who've been charged the monthly fees without even receiving
the CD's and membership info.
Now, the guys running these scams are not stupid and are obviously very good at
what they do. They've taken many measures to ensure that they can keep
operating their scams long term. This includes hiding their
websites' URLs and consistently changing the names of their programs.
This is what makes my job so difficult, it's almost impossible to keep up
with them. When one product is no longer selling they simply change the
name and viola they have a new Google Home Business Kit to sell. For
instance they've just switched the name to Google Money Master.
By the time there're enough complaints and articles exposing them they've
already moved on to a new name and website. I want to show you some
examples of these Google Kit sites which you should avoid, I'm also including a
long list of program names that they've used in the past along with a collection
of fake affiliate blogs that they use to promote them.
Examples of Earn Google Cash Sites to Beware of...
These websites were advertised through a series of fake blogs set up specifically to sell Google Biz Kits. Most were filled
with pictures of a young person, their big checks from Google, and fake comments towards the bottom.
Recently, these scammers have switched to using fake news paper articles to promote the Google BizKits. They often use names (and even logos) like the Los Angeles Times or ABC News and feature a top "story" of how you can make a fortune by simply purchasing one of these Google Kits. You should be wary of any such news articles as they're popping up everywhere.
Here's an example of these fake blog and news sites...
If you see an ad for one of these blogs or "newspapers" save yourself the time and don't
visit them, as they'll only redirect you to one of these Google Home Business
Kits.

Carl Moore Virginia | 7:24pm on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 | This product is a complete ripoff. The news article they put out naming a Mary Steaman living in Ashburn VA is a total lie. The news paper is called the Ashburn Harold. There is no such paper in Ashburn VA. The month earlier it listed the same woman living in Winchester VA. There is no such person living in either place. I was able to get my subscription canceled the same day after doing some research. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF BY THESE BASTARDS |
Kolomona Honolulu, Hawaii | 5:26pm on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 | AM SCAMMED! HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK? SIGNED UP FOR A $1.98 PACKET AND MY CREDIT CARD GOT Hit FOR A $68 CHARGE. |
Kourosh LA | 1:31pm on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 | I saw the advertisement on famous websites. At first I was shocked and couldn't believe that, but after a while seeing the websites about these programs, I was going to believe that it was not a scam. Specially because those websites or weblogs had some comment parts full of good reviews of people who had used the program.
I am so happy and grateful to Steve Albright who made me know about this scam before submitting my credit card info.
I learned not to believe anything at first glance especially on the web. |
boozlehoover Delmar | 8:20am on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 | As others wonder, how can 'Google' be used be used in such a way.........should one develop a new scam that says: "Yahoo!, my new internet system will make you thousands a day......" |
Canuck Canada | 8:01pm on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | So...if you have made the purchase, how do you cancel immediately? What are the steps to cancel your order? |
LW MICHIGAN | 6:02pm on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | I sent money into one of these programs. I can't even remember the name of it anymore....something like Johnmakesmoney.com. I sent for the CD and never got it. I tried emailing the company listed and it came back as undeliverable. IT'S A SCAM! This makes me SICK! |
Joy SC | 2:15pm on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | I fell for the scam after my dad called me to tell me about this article in our local newspaper about a husband and wife who had recently made thousands thanks to Google Riches. I entered all my information including CC# and immediately felt like it was a mistake. Then i started researching further and I am extremely glad that i found this website! I went back to their website and canceled my account successfully, so I was only charged $0.99. For further precaution i went ahead and canceled that credit card and ordered a new one. I would highly recommend doing the same if you were as foolish as i was. These people are real life villains! |
WILL NEW YORK | 11:57am on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | I STARTED TO ORDER THE GOOGLE CASH KIT, THEN I STOPPED AT THE CC# AND CANCELED. Joe Orlando | 9:43am on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | I thank you for clearing things up, the internet is a great tool and sometimes some crooks hide behind it to confuse the honest people.
I almost made the mistake and thanks to your great review i changed my mind.
Sorry for all of you that made the mistake.
And I hope more people like Steve Albright will come forward and teach the others.
Thank you,
Joe |

mat UK | 6:40am on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | Ok, first things first!
You can make money on the internet. I was making a fair few pounds per month using Google adwords and Ive also tried using adsense on some websites and I guess Ive made a bit with that too.
However! You dont need these programs and they are a scam. Making money on the internet is extremely hard if you have little money to invest.
Please stay away my north american cousins. All you need to know is available FREE on the internet. Dont pay for anything! |
TINA CHESTER, WV | 1:19am on Monday, July 13th, 2009 | I ALMOST ENTERED MY CC, AFTER READING ABOUT A GIRL AND HER HUSBAND MAKING GREAT MONEY IN A NEAR BY TOWN. I WENT TO THE PHONE BOOK AND THEY DID NOT EXIST, I AM THANKFUL FOR THIS PAGE AND EVERYONE'S INPUT. |
shyann Carson | 11:17pm on Sunday, July 12th, 2009 | ugghhh well i feel darn right stupid i signed up for that google biz kit and when i first did it. It said my card was declined so i tried again later and it worked
I started having doughts about the site though with it saying theres only 36 spots left and with it having different shipping fees.
So I started to do some research about it and all I found was negative things. I just want to thank you guys for being straight up. Because now i am going to cancel my account. |
Melinda, Brooklyn, NY | 5:09pm on Sunday, July 12th, 2009 | I was about to place my order when a box popped up telling me that there was an error with my card, I tried another card and it said the same thing. I then typed in "Google to Riches" and found out that this is all a scam. God is watching over me. Thank God that he is watching over me. |
Bill Ottawa | 1:16pm on Sunday, July 12th, 2009 | Remember, if it sound's too good to be true, its a scam. |
Kim Tennessee | 9:13pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | The advertisement for the Google Bizkit popped up while I was looking at items in Ebay. It looked like a wonderful opportunity !! I hadn't filled in all the information to register and something told me to check it out more. I went to the Google Biz kit site and found these comments, so thanks to everyone that has commented,it's saved me some trouble !! |
Vicious Waterloo | 8:48pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | I received a text from Google Scam. Being a single mother and times being hard for everyone this is flat out a crying shame. We are honest people & do not need to be ripped off. I am truly grateful for all of u sharing your story for me to read. It stopped me from looking at quick money. Please be careful on-line everyone. |
Trish Boston, MA | 8:24pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | I was on a dating site and saw this link and thought that I would check it out. I am very leery about giving out my info so I exited out of the site, but right before I did an instant message popped up so I decided I'd ask about the security of the site,etc... I also took time to read the terms and agreements and the Disclaimer info- I too saw that they'd be charging $74 a month if I failed to cancel the bonus materials withing a seven day period. That was a huge red flag! Stay away from Google biz kit! Please! Big scam; and I was lucky I came across a few other sites, including this one that stated it was a scam. |
maxx louisiana | 2:06pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | They are advertising on Reuters News site !!
It is sad that a great company like Google is not as litigious about the misuse of their name as they are about other stuff?
My message to Reuters
What is this Reuters - you are complicit in abetting SCAM ARTISTS - yes the ads you displayed in (yesterdays) Pictures sequence involve a company intent on ripping-off visitors to your site. Not so smart? SHAME upon you |
Terri Stoikes Crocker, MO | 12:27pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | I'm in a position where I need to make money. So I started looking at these ads. Problem 1 they list someone in my area.... No such name in the phone book. Problem 2 in at least one story the name of the spouse changes half way through.Problem 3 they talk of a web site but not a single link to it Problem 4 the comment section is closed due to spamming on something posted 3 days ago. Hmmmmm that set the alarm bells ringing. Plus you have to put it on a credit card. I don't have one and won't get one. So anyone that doesn't give me an alternative - well simply isn't going to get my business. |
Robert Cleveland | 9:33am on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | I had a window pop up and it took me to Google Money Master. I read it and went to close it and another window popped up offering me a discount on S&H dropping it to 99 cents. I am always suspicious of any offer of this kind so I did the research and discovered as all of you have that this is a scam. Unfortunately the old adage "Buyer Beware" seems to apply even more in the internet age. |
David India | 6:17am on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | Hi all,

dcn Omaha, Ne | 9:27am on Friday, July 10th, 2009 | Received a call from my credit card company yesterday afternoon telling me that they had put a hold on my card as they thought a transaction had come through that was suspicious ($81.00). They verified that the payment for $1.97 had been processed and than 7 days later came this transaction. When the card company checked on this they found that it was from an overseas company and called me to see if they should take the hold off of the card. Thankfully, the credit card company was on top of their security and have now cancelled that card and will issue us a new one. The credit card company agreed with us that this is a "real scam" |
stoned ga | 8:47pm on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | I too order this program once but i did it with a prepaid credit card i only had enough money to pay for the shipping amount they asked they only send me the free grant kit and did not send me the google kit cause i think they try to charge me the 70 and it did not went tru the free grand is full of bulhocky you can find all those info in the library |
jamel new york | 4:31pm on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | this is a scam they have websites that show young guys with cars (ect) thank god for this because i was going to get this program |
Anonymous MN | 2:30pm on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | --MY STORY--
Without thinking, I decided to try it out. Only until the next day, I had done some research and concluded that it was a scam. So, I decided to cancel the product on the second day by calling customer service number in the e-mail they sent me (1-800-497-4988) and they gave me a conformation number. I thought that it was over, but NO.
--GOOGLE ATM --
The next day, I been receiving phone call non-stop from a business claim to be "Google ATM". The phone number was, 973-577-7993. They called me almost every hour from 8AM till 4PM. This went on for the next few days until I decided to pick up and told them that I was not interested anymore. The person on the phone kept pushing and wondering why I am not interested anymore. It seems that he does not accept "not interested" as an option. They stopped calling for a few day then they started to call me again. It's annoying.
--MY SOLUTION --
I got charged the shipping and handling cost of $1.95. Knowing that they might charge my card $70 after 7days, I decided to change my Card Number just in case of the $70 fee(I did this on the fourth day). I just went to the bank and asked for a new one, and they agreed (it was free too). They still call me, and it have been almost two week since I signed-up for the Google Biz Kit. I am also carefully reviewing my bank statement for any unknown charges.
--Conclusion --
I heard that Google AdSense (actual Google service) is free and you could actually make some money. Even so, I probably won't use it- the internet is too big for me. But before you do anything online, RESEARCH IT! My advice.
Just be aware when you sign up for things online and deals too good to be true. Don't give out your personal information (phone number, address, card number) to sites that you do not trust or know. I hope this information help and Good Luck. |
Almost signed up not far enough away | 1:24pm on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | I almost signed up to, I put my name, phone and email in and then canceled, I got a text from them saying come back 2 www.GCASH44.com enter code uqzts and other bull. I'm glad I hesitated |

Tammy Uxbridge, Ma | 9:36am on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | This is a scam, I was charged 79.90 on my debit card i called to cancel 9 days later and they will only give me half of my money back. I asked to speak with a manager and they said only voicemail is available. Dont try this they just take your money and are very rude on the other end. I was told i had 45days to cancel. I cancelled on day 9 and only get 1/2 my money.... |
kim ohio | 9:18am on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | anytime you see "only pay for shipping & handling for any product its a scam!! The "free Grants" is the same way! they say just pay shipping and handling and receive a free cd to "Learn how to get free government grants" NOthings free. I also went to ripoffreport to research these scams. |
John Akron, Ohio | 8:37am on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | Yes, I was 1-click away from giving them what money I do have left after being laid-off myself. The old saying of "it's too good to be true" could fit here but I don't want to be the sucker to find out the hard way.
Evidently they're still getting people to sign up & the ad I saw & the newspaper/tv show that endorses this should be ashamed of themselves. If they even know it's being publicized in there name.
Thanks for the review. A quick search on google is exactly what everyone should do before giving in to scams such as this one. |
Vigilent Virginia | 6:44am on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 | This Google make money fast and easy scam is everywhere and growing. Always remember, "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is." Also, never trust anything from the internet until you have done your homework and researched it. Scams are a 'dime-a-dozen' these days with all the desperate people out of work.
Another interesting observation from that advertisement is you are locked out from posting. Also, nothing in life is 100% and a red flag went up when I didn't see a single negative comment in the testimonials. Hmmm, remember Bernie Madoff who never lost any money for his investors. Strange how he was always 100% profitable. Watch your back people and think before you click. |
danidanado canada | 5:57pm on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 | dang! my spam blocker must have blocked the confirmation e-mail. i guess there is no recourse? |
Megan Waterford, MI | 2:35am on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009 | My mom tried the Google kit and got charged for the shipping, then the $70 fee came up... then they charged it again! She had to cancel her card and wait for a new one causing all kinds of choas with payments set for that card that were legit! But that aside I am very disappointed in the person posting this because though he is legitimately exposing one scam when you request information from him about a legitimate business he only advertises another known scam... shame on him! People like him disgust me! They are the reason that honest people like me can not earn a living from home and can't trust anyone in this world! |
Carol NY | 10:30pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I cam across this news article of a woman that got laid off and not soon after her husband did to. They found this program(Google riches) and they claimed to make all this money just posting likes basically what everyone else has said. I too was thinking about ordering it and something told me it doesn't even sound right. Thank god I went with my instinct. I then decided to do a little research and came upon a site that had a link to this site. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences and thoughts and hope that it will help others. |
Sopris New York | 9:42pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | Believe it or not I was on a young children's online book site, reading to my grandchildren when the pop-up appeared. That's just slimy and tasteless. Anyhoo, thank you to Steve, and yes, LOL, I did the research first (comes with age). Good Luck to all of you who are battling it out with these losers. |
Katy K. California | 9:00pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I don't know about this Google program. I imagine it is a scam, anything that sounds too good to be true usually is. It is tempting to some of us I'm sure as we are living in hard times and could all use extra money. I did want to say to those that want to try and see what this program is about regardless of reviews to go buy a prepaid debit card at the grocery store for $10 or $20 and use that to pay the $1.99 kit fee!! Then if they do try to charge $70 days later they won't be able to! It is a valid form of Visa or Mastercard even though it's prepaid so it WILL be excepted. That way if you end up losing out you've lost no more than the debit card was worth! When you're unsure about a company or program prepaid cards are the best way to go, I don't know why more people don't think of it. We're idiots if we use our actual bank cards! |
Oscar G. Sterling, Virginia | 4:52pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I just came across one of these Websites, its called kevinsgreenblog.com or something like that
He claims that he is making tons of money for just a sign up cost of $1 that covers S&H, just like you said this site directs to one of those GOOGLE sites. I have recently being laid off from my job and i have been looking day and night for one of these work-from-home jobs, does anyone know about a LEGIT company that actually does this?? Thanks for your help |
Jennifer Albuquerque New Mexico | 3:38pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I just read one of the other reviews and it sounds just like my story-I signed up for Google Money Master Kit, on 6/30/09. Supoose to have a free trial week, just found out they took 73.83 out of my account five days after they took the 1.87 initial fee!! What a hassle this is going to be to have to cancel everything and wait for a new bank card. I usually check into everything I do online, which I did this time too. However, I think I was thinking in the back of my head this is Google so it has to be legit! Not so!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!! |
Samantha Alabama | 2:53pm on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I just bought this program about 20 minutes ago and i thank all of you very much because i am going to call and cancel the order asap. will it make a difference if i cancel my card because right now i cant afford to HELP please. |
Fanny Pembroke Pines, FL | 10:09am on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I purchased the kit, then read this. Yes I know I should have done it the other way around but whatever. I was able to cancel the membership for the Easy Pay Google thing by calling 18002351264, its a cancellation line so no need to transfer anywhere, I gave them my info & they gave me a conf. # on my cancellation & now i'm hoping the $70 something monthly fee will not be charged. Thanks for the warning. |
Stan Chicago | 8:50am on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | They only got $1.95 from me and maybe not even that charge. Luckily, I got an instant e-receipt for the $1.95 charge with a link to their site, only to find an e-bay tutorial...Garbage. I checked the small print terms and there it was - the list of what were to be 'recurring' charges. I immediately (don't even bother with their Cust. service phone# or e-mail - it's ALL a scam remember!) called my credit card 24hr. Cust. service number and reported my card 'lost or stolen'. END OF PROBLEM! Don't forget that at that point all recurring charges on that card will be null & void - including your legit ones. Your bank will give you your new card# immediately - before your card arrives in the mail - so you can make the proper changes to your legit recurring payments, on line bill pay etc, etc. I hope these scammers all enjoyed a nice financial relationship with Bernie Madoff! |
Jeff Kentucky | 8:21am on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I was also scammed by one of these programs. It says there three simple steps. Don' e fooled. |
kyra USA | 7:20am on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | I was planning to buy this one yesterday, but good thing you had a great info. Thanks. I would love to read more of your helpful posts very soon. :) |
Nancy Virginia Beach, VA | 7:25pm on Monday, July 6th, 2009 | I too, like many of you was "taken" by the advertising for "easy" money. I was on my FB page and to the right there was an ad for Kelly Clarkson that I clicked that took me to this "Google" ad which was strictly on a man in my area who had made huge amounts of money with a "video" of him visiting his BoA atm to verify his bank balance!! Truly looked legit so I read further and thought $1.97 is a small price to see what this was all about. I read every bit of small print and nothing about automatic monthly withdrawls nor the amount per month. I signed up on 06/28/09 and had to wait for my confirmation email to gain access to www.profitstudiolearning.com. Once I received it I checked out the website and it mentioned you had to have your own site to place these "fake" ads. I was confused but it was late so I thought I would check on it again in another day or two. Wasn't happy with it and knew I had 7 days from the 28th and according to confirmation I could cancel at anytime. Not so. I tried calling on Friday 7-3-09, Saturday 7-4-09 and again on Sunday 7-5-09. My bank account was charged a fee of $79.90 on Sunday 7-5-09 which was 7 days exactly from the date I initially signed up. Recording states corporate office is closed and is open M-F 8A-5P Mountain time. I called Monday 7-6-09 at 800-497-4988 and talked with Ashley who states my account has been cancelled. Unfortunately, didn't get confirmation number. Will have to call back tomorrow. See review by Wendy from Slidell (above) from 06-26-09 as mine was exactly the same as hers.
I feel like such an idiot for falling for this as I normally do research but didn't in this regard and it is going to cost me more than I can afford both time and finances.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! |
Carol Texas | 3:49pm on Monday, July 6th, 2009 | My husband came across this advertisement for The Daily-Job-News with a headline that read-Is Working Online at Home the way to financial freedom? The advertising clincher referred to a person in the exact city that we live in. That certainly caught his attention. But,I have been scammed before,so I read the whole story where they alluded that the Online Giant Google, which is a publicly traded company and worth an estimated $100 Billion,is somehow connected to this Google Home Income Kit,which is free. They say the free kit will show you how to sign up for a google account.Getting a google account setup is not rocket science and its free. So,I did the first step and typed in the info they asked for, luckily,it was not personal cc info;the next screen was where the statement on monthly fees ($79)was disclosed. What happened to the "free"?Then,I did research on the Google Home Income kit,Easy Google Profit,Google Money Master...all the same scams...beware... |

Blower, Whistle USA | 10:37am on Monday, July 6th, 2009 | I make it a point to get somewhat involved with these scammers (Google Kits and Craigslist, alike) just so I can have the opportunity to tell them to f*ck off and that they have a special place in hell for ass-bags like them. They don't seem to like that very much:) |
Anonymous Location unknown | 4:02pm on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | here is another russel chedda blog updated april 2009. cheddathehustler.com but it doesn't forward to Google success kit. it forwards to grant money sites. even though it says Google success kit. |
Marcel New York | 9:16am on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | Have you contacted Yahoo and provided them the information contained in these responses and statements to let them know that this is a scam and that Yahoo should not carry their ads. I was looking in the Yahoo Finance page when I saw the ad and I thought that Google itself was directly involved. Maybe this Garey Peters should also be prosecuted for running a Ponzi scheme close to what Madoff was doing. 150 years in prison for Peters would be a good warning for all the other scammers. |
Michelle Australia | 5:22am on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | I have just order one of these google kits then I came across this site and have decided to cancel my credit card. Thanks everyone for sharing this info. Hopefully, my card would stop all payments. |
Grace Vancouver | 11:07pm on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | They had a pop up IM window, to entice me more about their scam. I countered by telling them, I just went through a divorce and I need some counseling. the lady told me to piss off.
Well, what did I do! =P |

All I did was put my info. in the computer not my bank info. just my phone number @ work of all places and they have called three times a day and tried to talk to me!! Now that I know it's a scam I will talk to them!! They all have had thick accents according to my boss hmmmmm.............Think maybe they aren't from this country!! Thanks for the valuable info. I will always research things because I am not going to have money that I don't have taken from me!! |
Joshua Powell | 1:31pm on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | Thankful for my older brother who helped me know what I was going to do would be a huge mistake... and something that goes against who I am. |

Thanks for all of the advice!!! |
mike langley bc | 10:17am on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | I just found out about this scam when some lady phoned me and left a message on my machine accusing me and my wife of running this scam and that I was under investigation she must have phoned about 20 times in 20 minutes although the last name is the same first are different i feel bad for those that were tricked. |

Kristy Lemont, IL | 1:02am on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | Well, I almost went for it but something went wrong when I tried to sign up and they had to call me on the phone. They where very pushy people. I told them they would have to call me back the next day so I could get my credit card #. I was hoping to get more info. I tried to google some info at the time with no luck. Than the dreadful lady called a million times the next day and finally told me she was google ATM and promised she was not a scam. Again very pushy. I told her I couldn't find anything on the company and I used reverse directory and nothing came up. She had no explanation. I than called my credit card company and they just said to try and google it and find as much info as I could. My credit card would not charge me if it was not valid charge so I'm lucky. I just had to many doubts so I didn't go for it. I finally found this site and now I'm so glad. The problem is she was very convincing and new almost the right things to say. Just WATCH out!!!! |
Pete LA | 12:08am on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 | almost, so close, i enter my info and submit and everything in the first page, and it the next page was the credit card and payment for 2.99 cent, i did not like it, so i exit out, and they pop up the special price and it was not 2.99 but only .99 if i sign up in the next 5 minutes, they told me that this is a special price. lucky i decide to look it up and see, and here im finding it was a scam, just as i though it was, just by looking at their page is not legit or unprofessional. lucky me =) |
maria texas | 11:31pm on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 | so this is the address according to the fine print....
GOOGLE ATM
1810 E SAHARA AVE

LAS VEGAS NV. 89104 |
Kara Upstate NY | 4:52pm on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 | I fell for the google scam as well and am currently disputing the charges with my bank. I have put a stop to the bank credit card account for the time being so that no further charges can be made. I've been doing my research to locate the original site where this all began and as mentioned by the writer of this site, it is VERY difficult to locate. So far I have been charged $1.97 (s&h), $38.34 (membership fee) and $72.21 (Powers ? still not sure who/what this is). |
Angela Martin saint john n.b. | 3:19pm on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009 | well i looked into it and yes it sounded great bu t i decided to Google it, and sure enough i got Steve's write up on it. Crazy scammers out there they wouldn't know how to make a honest living thats for sure. |
Eric Oregon | 7:18pm on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | Well what can I say but I should have gone here first and did my school work before sending any info. I have spent 6 days with a busy signal on the phone and had to speak a bit of "french" with one of the companies that you will be attached to just to get a refund from them. My only worry now is how many more attachments do I need to deal with!!! Stay away, very FAR AWAY!!!! |
Scott deJackone Orlando | 3:06pm on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | It is near impossible to cancel the service with-in the 7 days they require. I tried to cancel with-in 2 hours of signing up but they said they could not locate my account. Claimed they didn't know why because they get the info within minutes, yet they were very successful at charging my credit card the $1.95. Keep in mind their so-called kit will take beyond 7 days to get to you anyway. |
Joviaus Kentucky | 10:46am on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | I was putting in my info had it all in and right before I submitted something told me to do a little more research with google itself. If a product with Google's name on it is being offered, check with Google first. I am sure they have info on their own product. I read all the feedback on the site and thought it to be a sure thing. Glad I did the research and read the fine print. This site also saved my ass |
Mike GA | 8:41am on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | I got scammed by filling out the info for one of these and about 5 min. after it I got a call talking to a somewhat financial officer then another guy. They wanted me to go in and start with a fee of $5,195 and said I'll make it back in a month. I'm sorry to say I went for it. After not sleeping, at all, for the night I cancelled it the next day. I read the fine print on the document saying I had 3 days to cancel it if I would like to, with no questions asked. When I canceled it one of the guys called me up saying that they will take me to court if I would do so, cussing me out. He went speechless when I read the fine print to him.
They said they were the Global Success Academy. |
Henry S. San Antonio, Tx. | 8:08am on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | I read several blogs and I thought something was fishy when one posted a comment date for June 31th 2009 not real smart. thanks |
abdul-aziz Calif | 1:05am on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 | Peace/blessings. Thank you for your advice, in the Muslim world we say, all praise is due to God for you exposing the scam artists. I was about order until I read your article- thank you. |

wade wa | 11:18pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | this guy Steve Albright is one bad ass. so i think i speak for all of us when i say THANKS STEVE |
dummie Butler, pa | 8:34pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | I was fooled by them. I paid $1.95. I still got nothing back from them and will cancel my credit card account before them take more my money. why nobody do anything about this scam. hate them. |
C. Jones Corona | 4:57pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | I read the article and clicked the link to go to the Google Fast Cash site. I started entering my information and my inner voice said to do a Google Search on it. As soon as I did this a warning notice came up saying "An agent wanted to talk to me" and to "click cancel on the next screen so I wouldn't navigate away from the site". A good thing I followed my instinct because I found all of this information about this scam. To ALL if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true. |
Andrew Tennessee | 4:03pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | Thank you for the information. I was an idiot and signed up for this. Luckily i switched banks and only left enough money in there to cover my purchases and the famous $1.97. |
San Indiana | 2:36pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | Just saved my time and money.
Was almost to enter my CC info to get the google biz kit to ship.. and thought for a while and thought of doing some research..
This article just saved my ass... :) |
Eric Maryland | 11:22am on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | I just have one thing to say!!! Don't even think about it!!! It's a f*cking scam! I'm stupid enough to try this BS kit. I'm still fighting to get my $ 83.00 back from very unpleasant CPR idiot! |
mutt220 nj | 12:25am on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 | I almost purchased this kit lol, but did read the fine print and decided to do a search on "google cash" thank you for this web site you saved me money that i dont have to waist |
Shay DE | 7:19pm on Monday, June 29th, 2009 | I'm so glad this website exists, I first looked at ripoffreport (one article about this being a scam) and did a search through Yahoo which brought me to this site. This is excellent info. thank you all for your feedback it helps others. I was about to buy but did my research since the low price caused me to be highly suspicious. If it would make us $5,500.00 per month, why would it cost under $2.00 to purchase?? THANKS PEOPLE! |
Larry Oregon | 6:30pm on Monday, June 29th, 2009 | I gave them my email but not my cc number. Can they still get my personal info now that they have my ip address. |
Todd Location unknown | 4:49pm on Monday, June 29th, 2009 | Sigh... I feel like an idiot. I fell for it, i am disabled so its hard to find work. I found this site right after i signed up, I called the number and was on hold for almost 20 minutes. I finally got a lady and i got a cancellation number. I didn't use my CC but my atm card. Should i go to the bank and cancel this account? and get a new one? |
DCLARK CENTRAL, SC | 3:08pm on Monday, June 29th, 2009 | THE GOOGLE BUSINESS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. I CANCELED ACCORDING TO THE EMAIL AND OF COURSE THEY DON'T TELL YOU ON THE EMAIL THAT IT CAN BE CANCELED ONLINE ON THE WEEKENDS. DON'T DO THIS !!!!! |
Manuel Delray Beach,Florida | 9:28pm on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | i was very excited when i came across this google kits.to finally i read the terms and conditions n just by reading it i realized it was a scam ,many people dont read the terms n thats how this people make their money.anyways i immeadiatly did some research n landed on this site thank u very much there r some good people outhere |
cynthia Location unknown | 1:37pm on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | I signed up for this before reading these blogs. I should have listened to my "inner voice" before doing so, but I thought it was only $1.95 for each of the two programs and I would only be out about $4 if I didn't like it. Then, I read these blogs and realized what I had to do. I called and cancelled my credit card to stop even the shipping fees. I tried to call the number listed in the one e-mail I received, but they are not "open" on Sunday, so I will call again tomorrow at 8am to cancel. I wish I had read these blogs before I committed my credit card info. |
roy toronto | 10:21am on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | Came close! Thank God. I paused at even entering my email, much less my banking info. Warning signals: 20 minute timer to prevent your better judgment to kick in in time. $1.98 kit....nothing worth anything can cost so little. If it seem too easy and too good to be true...it is! If you are a good person you will fall for this, if not, you won't. Don't give out personal/banking info if you have 1% doubt. We live in an evil world and evil targets the desperate, and good is where God is at....absent! You are on your own. I bet most of the victims are good people! |
Frank toronto | 6:03am on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | Just to let you know that I came across your site by luck. I was about to sign up but then I remember some other guy saying the same thing about this $2 kit. I went back to my file and typed easy google cash into google search. That's where i found your site. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I know there are a lot of scams out there. Do your research. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. walk away or even better RUNNNNNNN. |
alice Location unknown | 11:35am on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 | Yes! i've been fooled too! they say it's free for 7 days before they charge my credit card..
but they charged my credit card for $69,95 on the 4th day! it's not 7 days!! |
Mr. Sly Location unknown | 10:24am on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 | Sounds good, glad I researched before I tried it. Research people, that is the easiest way to avoid scams.
Thanks for the info. |
420 texas | 2:28am on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 | damn i just signed on to it today |
Viktor Location unknown | 10:10pm on Friday, June 26th, 2009 | WOW!! damm stupid scam.. I read this GOOGLE KIT thing yesterday and when i waz bout to sign up i decided not to.. Good thing i did some research.. |
Paul Ontario | 10:00pm on Friday, June 26th, 2009 | almost got me too.
Also avoid HD sunglasses advertized on CNN. 50$ S&H and they are clown glasses. |
Dr. Johnson New York | 5:20pm on Friday, June 26th, 2009 | Wow, I'm glad I did a little research. Well I'm in the same boat as you guys so there really isn't anything new I can add to the mix. I however just gave them a wrong number and outdated E-mail address before I read the contract agreement thingy. A lot of you wonder why Google and the other sites don't put a stop to this. Well, my thought is That Google isn't a real word. Google invented that word from the word Gougle so they can trademark it and GooglecMoney Master or whatever don't use Google like that. It's not Google-money-Master it's Google Money Master...Get it. Just to be on the safe side they add that little disclaimer at the bottom. My advice to EVERYONE is this however. ALWAYS ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO READ THE CONTRACT AND FINE PRINT. ANY BUSINESS (LEGIT OR FRAUD) THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH YOU TAKING AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND YOU SHOULDN"T SIGN WITH OR GIVE ANY INFO AT ALL. |
ANNIE OHIO | 4:25pm on Friday, June 26th, 2009 | THIS COMPANY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFO OVER THE INTERNET THEN CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD OVER $120.00 IN 2 MONTHS-I JUST NOW CAUGHT THIS ON MY STATEMENT TODAY AND WHEN I CALLED THEM TO COMPLAIN AND GET MY MONEY BACK CAUSE ITS A FRAUDULENT CHARGE THE GENTLEMEN STATED THEY DONT DO REFUNDS, HE STATED THEY RECIEVED MY INFO OFF OF AN ADVERTISEMNT-DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT TO YOU PEOPLE? NOW IM FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK-CALLING MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY-AND MAYBE EVEN A LAWYER, DONT DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE-BEWARE THIS IS NOTHING BUT A MAJOR SCAM!!!!!!!!! |
Carl Huntsville, Alabama | 3:39pm on Friday, June 26th, 2009 | I almost signed up for the free Biz Kit. I filled out the name cc number and then I read the terms and conditions. The Free is for 1 week ONLY, and then the monthly charge occurs. In the terms and conditions I saw monthly recurring charges of $68.21 each month. I called 800 235-1364 and they confirmed it. I then knew it is a SCAM. It IS NOT FREE. |
