Liberty League International

After watching the Liberty League International promotional movie all I can say is wow! Private Jets, Exotic Vacations, and Financial Freedom all brought to you by way of convincing testimonials and endearing promises of success. The cult like following for direct sales of motivational products will have you believe that Liberty League International is the end-all breakthrough in home business opportunities. If you’re like me, then you’re probably wondering what in the world these people are talking about.

So what exactly do you need to do to be one of these lucky individuals enjoying a healthy breakfast shake and jogging on the beach? According to Liberty League International, success is yours for the taking if you join their program as a Liberty League Associate.

Your role in this business will be to sell and advertise the three products of Liberty League International, (1) Beyond Freedom, (2) Liberty 3 day conference, and (3) The Summit 5 day conference. These are “life changing” motivational products with an expensive price tag, 1 = $1,495, 2 = $7,995, and 3 = $12,995.

The start up cost of this business depends on how serious you are about making money. Technically you're only required to purchase a starter kit for $49.95.  This includes the first monthly payment for your personal Liberty League International website, after which the subscription will be $39.95 per month.

The more serious route will include an additional $30 a month for an 800#, up to $45 per month for a long distance phone plan, $33 per month for access to presentation calls, and an undetermined amount for advertising and LLI lead generation access. Oh, and you need to buy the $1,495 beyond freedom motivational product for two reasons.

If you’re serious about this business then you need Beyond Freedom because, (1) the structure of the payment plan for Liberty League International is such that you need 5 Beyond Freedom Sales under you before you can start making money. If you buy it yourself then you can count your own purchase as one and use two sales from your referrer, then you only need to get 2 of your own sales. If you don’t buy Beyond Freedom you need to get all five on your own and you will make nothing on each sale.

Secondly, you need to get Beyond Freedom because you probably need to know what you’re talking about. If you’re trying to convince people to drop fifteen hundred dollars on a motivational product you better be living proof that it works. This leads to the controversy behind Liberty League International.

In May 2006, the Arizona Attorney General issued Liberty League International a $115,000.00 fine. In addition to civil penalties, attorney’s fees, and restitution, the defendants are also required to:

• Refrain from making unsubstantiated income claims.

• Advise potential customers of the correct percentage of participants who have made a profit through their participation in the Liberty League program.

• Refrain from making any false or deceptive statements in their marketing materials.

This has forced Liberty League International to post their income disclosure which reveals that 80% of associates earn an average of $7,149 a year. Now take into account the costs of running this business and these people are lucky to break even.

This is why Liberty League International associates get into trouble, since it’s hard to motivate people into joining with promises of barely breaking even as opposed to showing them pictures of yachts and water skis.

I've heard first hand accounts of people reporting that they were encouraged to project the status of wealth when talking about this business. This included reporting false and exaggerated incomes and even going into debt themselves by trying to keep up with the carefree lifestyle advocated by LLI.

Another element of LLI that honestly sends shivers down my spine is the cult like mentality of the motivational conferences and retreats. What’s interesting is that when they talk about profiting and making positive changes in your life there is an overwhelming group mentality with immense reinforcement.

However when someone reports that they gave this business their all and have a reported income of $0 and are now 12k in debt this mentality quickly changes. The person is singled out for failing based on their own lack of dedication or inability to properly implement the concepts. Basically they are left high and dry; this was part of the reason behind the lawsuit.

So in the end is Liberty League International an illegal and unethical venture? The answer is no, but it is close. Companies like this have come and gone but I can tell you one thing for certain. The successful people that I know in my life do not spend hard earned money to attend “Super Saturdays” or spend 13k to go to Fiji for motivation.

I wrote on this forum a few months ago and am saddened to return and find of more people burned by LLI aka PMG.
It's good to know ASIC and Fair Trading are investigating them here in Australia. I would definitely be keen to join a class action. Would be great if they get ordered to give us all refunds regardless of how long ago we were with the company.
Then the founders would know what it feels like to be taken to the cleaners so to speak.

Kelly, I totally agree with you. If you were not having any success with selling the BF, they would always tell you to "step up and make the commitment" by buying conference tickets. My question was, " If you can't sell one BF for $1500, how is buying conference tickets going to help"?

In reply to the LLI/PMG apologists: The issue here is not personal responsibility or diligence. The issue here is a "company" that pressures its associates/employees/saps to buy its trips as the key to success. What business anywhere requires its workers to do that? Even Franchisees have HELP from the corporation vs additional costs.
As Mal Mac Rae from down under put it: this is a company that "doesn't really sell a product but moreover sells the right to sell an intangible right to sell." Stay Away

ppl who have failed at this business have done so because they have not taken a sensible outlook on it. You do not need to spend a fortune on marketing because they give you methods that cost next to nothing. That being personal contact. Now if your not good at talking to ppl or arnt an outgoing person then y would u want to start a business where u have to have that type of personality. They tell you that not every one will succeed and that like any other business not every one will become sucessful with it. If your serious about starting your own business then this can work for you and really you dnt need to take a huge finacial risk to find out if it will work for u or not. They give u everything u could possiabily need to succeed with this even if u have had no sales experience. If your going to try it out dont quite your job or spend thousands in marketing instead try the cheaper ways first if they dnt work out for u then more then likely this kind of thing isnt for u. And as for the fake it till u make it comment if u have that mind set your not going to achieve success with this. U dnt lie and say your making a ton of money and have all the time in the world instead you give them testimonials of actual ppl u know that have in fact achieved great success with this business

I just wish I would have found this site years ago! My wife and I were with LLI/PMG from 2006-2009. When we first heard the business overview call, we fell for it, hook, line and sinker! It sounded so easy. Just place a few ads, send them to the call and get paid! We brought all three products no questions asked. We thought LL was the best thing since sliced bread! We went to work right away on our BF and started a marketing campaign. We both worked in corporate America, so we could afford a nice advertising budget. We both ended up quitting our jobs to pursue LL full time and that alone was one the of worst mistakes we made. A few weeks went by with no sales. We went ahead and purchased the other two BF for our training sales for other family members. All of them said LL was nothing but a scam and the BF was an ok product, but not worth the price. Our main mission was to prove them wrong. We attended a couple of the conferences and did blogs bragging about the lifestyle LL enabled us to live, even though the financial debt was mounting. We didn’t want to quit because we would have felt stupid when everyone we knew was telling us what a scam it was. In Feb of this year,we just could no longer keep up with the lie we made so many people believe. We were not rich or living a lifestyle of freedom, we were already more than 100k in debt. We cashed in our 401k plans, depleted our savings, cased in stocks we had for retirement and even took a second mortgage out. We have since had to file bankruptcy. Even our bankruptcy attorney was stunned that we fell for such an obvious scam. Now my wife and I are living in a small one bedroom apartment. We don’t have kids. My wife had to take a job that paid way less than her previous job. I am still unemployed. I’ve talked with a few exLL’s with similar stories and most of us didn’t quit because we still held on to the belief that if we just put more effort into it, we’ll be a top income earner. It was just a very costly lesson we learned. I do hope they get shut down once and for all.

OK guys, I have been an adviser with LLI For quite some time and continue with Polaris.

Here's the thing, yes, I went into debt when I started my business, and to the tune of several hundred thousand dollars. Funny though, it was me who took out the loans, me who signed the papers, and me who also took responsibility for re-paying it all.

Not someone at corporate, not my advisor. Not the CEO, not anyone but me. I made every decision I made by myself and for myself and I do not regret any of it.

I do not seek to, nor ever will I, be a part of the Scientologist religion.

People have to put in perspective the rewards and risks of pursuing a business in any light and take responsibility for any and all actions the decide to take.

Yes, I might have done it differently in hind sight. Yes, my own decisions led me down a road for a certain time which was uncomfortable (and seemed much worse) for myself and my family.

Yes, I am now on the other side of it and actually have several quite profitable businesses including my continued involvement with LLI/Polaris

Yes, I can tell you it is worth it, whether you get involved in this business or any other.

Yes, you can succeed.

Yes, you can take your licks and get back up.

Yes, people will most likely criticize you for pursuing your own vision of the way you want your life.

Yes, you can also lose everything you have and quit 2 feet from gold and wind up some kind of sob story on a discussion board...if you choose.

LLI/Polaris in and of itself is neither good nor bad. It is a business in which clearly, like all business, most people by the percentages fail.

Its just that LLI offers a hope/allure that others are doing it "and so can you." Which is true and I am living testament to that. But it also gives you a convenient scapegoat to blame for giving up.

I chose to succeed and I chose to do it in LLI/Polaris at all costs. I chose to do it when my ship was sinking. I chose to do it when ALL of my friends and family adivsed me not to.

And guess what?

Now they are all congratulating me on my success, as if they 'knew all along' I could do it. I don't blame them, but I do see the truth:

We are all captains of our own ships, responsible for our own sails, and when we choose to head into the storm for the 'promise land' we must be prepared to do WHATEVER it takes to survive and make it. There isn't anyone on the high seas to hold your hand and commiserate.

If you want a better life, IT IS out there. You just gotta decide you'll accept no less and decide what business is right for you then go get it.

And stay away from forums where people complain about what other people or companies 'did to them' and how bad of a victim they are. Nobody wants to be a victim, so why hang out with them?

My $.02 for what it's worth...if it helps just 1 person it'll be worth it.

My spouse got "into" this group without my knowledge. My spouse was encouraged to spend without restraint, continue to go on the trips, and hide it all from me. It is a cult-like group made worse by the insidious encouragement to continue buying more of the trips to the conferences.
I attended one conference with my spouse. The other attendees I spoke to appeared to be desperate, broken souls with the same story as mine - they have given away their savings and gone horribly into debt in the pursuit of the riches promised by this company.
My spouse and I are nearly at the point of divorce. We are $250,000 in debt. There are claims that people who don't make any money at this "business" simply haven't worked at it hard enough or long enough. My spouse has been at this for a year, spending hours each day chasing leads. There are some people in the world who can sell anything to anyone. If you are not one of those types, I advise you to stay away from this company.

I did make money with Liberty League, over $100,000 in 8 months.
At the end of the day success comes from hard work, and i certainly did work hard.
I left because i decided to pursue other career options, but let me just say Liberty League is a wonderful company.
All the people on this page who didn't make money, seem to blame the company. i knew right from the start that if i was to make money it was up to me, like any business. We all know what we are getting into, success does not come easy, it doesn't matter what business you pursue, it's just in direct selling businesses when things get a bit tough people are not prepared to go through the road blocks, therefore it's easier to just blame the company and become a victim, i certainly wouldn't want to go to war with such people.

Don't do it!!! You will be throwing away your money.

These people only care about making their wallets fat. They pretend to care about you, but they don't.

I spent several months working the program, only to be rejected time and time again. My experience cost me nearly $4k.

Don't do it!

I find it interesting that so many people would showcase their apparent failure and blame a company for their results.
If you bought a business and didn't put time, marketing research, and hard work into it and it failed, would it be the person you bought that business's fault for you not succeeding? Myself and my partner run 4 different businesses and we actually use this company's personal development programs to help us achieve the results and success we are enjoying in those businesses.
Strange, perhaps I am just part of that 5% of people that MAKE things happen rather than look to external factors to blame.....

I joined LLI and have been with them for just about 7 months. I thought this was the best thing out. Wow, i can't believe id attracted this opportunity to me. I purchased after 3 months of trying to get the money. I than passed up my 2 training sales and bang i was in a money making position. Although i never did make a profit sale i am thankful i didn't. I had 2 people that were ready to purchase and i couldn't do it. I told them if they want to purchase they would have to go else where as i didn't have the heart to take peoples hard earned money just to push me up the ladder a little. Thankfully they understood and have since not joined on there own terms and research. I have pulled out and have friends in there still who are passionate and believing that it is going to happen for them. I know for a fact that they haven't made a cent and are ready to climb the ladder more. Im just glad i was able to see the other side and got myself out of this before i went in further. Luckily my partner was still a lil skeptical as this also made me see. Our bank account was getting lower and lower, the credit card was up there and household bills weren't getting paid. As soon as i decided to leave it was like a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I was able to have a good sleep, and we have alot more spare cash and have caught up with the bills, yeah. This was definitely a lesson for me and i wont be falling for anything like this ever again. My heart truly does go out to the people that have put alot of money into this. Gosh, just get out now. The longer you stay in the worse its gonna get. I hope my story may have helped assist even one person.

Liberty League has been publicly listed as a pyramid scheme in NSW, Australia. There has been a media release by the Department of fair trading in NSW on 4 Sept 2009.
It will be interesting to see if this ruling carries over to Polaris Media Group.

Well, it appears that the LLI bubble has finally burst!. New owner Shane Krider and the Leadership council has now renamed this entity Polaris Media Group. No doubt all the negative information about LLI caused them to rename their entity. Unclear as to what products they are selling, but already several distributors (formerly called "associates") are now claiming success even though the business hasn't technically opened! Sound familiar?

Same snake oil , different label.

Hank, your story is probably just like mine and thousands of others. I think the success rate is less than 10%. I would say about 3% of all LL's are actually making the six figure income. That's what is stated on the income disclouser page.

I put my heart and soul along with $32861.00 of hard earned and borrowed money, for over 2 years and never made the first sale. I have found out that only @ 10% are successful. Think of the hurting, the ruined 90% out there. Can you conscientiously be a part of any such pyramid scheme? I couldn't do it anymore. Don't do it!!

Debbie   United States

I was about to write my multi page story of my experience and my opinion and then I read Mary's post (Mary, United States - Posted at 5:55pm on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009).

All I can say is that my story mirrors here EXACTLY. When I look back now, all of the "pep rally" conference calls with all of the "yay, rah, rah" is sickening. When I was not getting results, even though I was putting in everything I had (effort, smarts, time, money, willingness to learn and be coached, etc.) I could not understand why I was "failing" when everyone who spoke up on these calls was talking about how much they earned last month and how LLI has changed their life as if it were a miracle. So what was my problem? What was wrong with me? I finally figured it out. All of those 85%ers, the ones not making much if anything at all, were put in a position that if they were to speak up and say "I'm having troubles, please help", they would stand out like a sore thumb. The calls were so powerful in driving home the point that "it's possible for anyone" and that the only failure is quitting. Leaving me feeling like the last thing I want to do is fail, so I'd better hang in there and keep trying. What did that do for me? Nothing more than continuing to empty my bank account. What a fool I'd been.

I cannot tell you the IMMEDIATE relief I felt the moment my husband and I finally said, there is no way this business is going to work. I immediately felt 200 pounds lighter and the sun was shining and the birds were tweeting, LOL Whether we failed at working it correctly, we bought into a company that was full of promises that were empty, or some combination of the two, who knows and I honestly don't care.

All I can say is that unless you are an experienced network marketer with a proven track record of sales that put you in the top 5% of your prior companies you joined, in no way add LLI to your list of biz ops to consider. Even buying in at the lowest level possible ($49.95 and you have to sell 5 Beyond Freedoms before you make a penny) is a waste of money. Go out to a nice restaurant and be thankful you researched this before you blindly listened to the propaganda you'll hear from every LLIer.

A friend bought me Beyond Freedom to try to entice me into LL. I am shocked at the price tag now after reading this site, I pray she was just trying to get her sales up. This stuff is absolute crap. I must say it feels like it is geared towards a 1st grader. The whole program is intended to be motivational but is so not academic. They constantly throw around percentages pulled from the air and I just felt like a dumber person after listening to it. Sorry... If this is your level of intellect you will never be a millionaire because you are just not smart enough. Please avoid this product and its lies. i am 100K+ in the hole and facing bankruptcy because of this company. i do believe the system works, but not for all. telling folks that ANYONE can make a ton of money is unethical. most if not ALL of the top earners have prior network marketing experience, rachel oliver with herbal life, another person was with landmark education for years, if not experienced in marketing they have previous sales experience. bottom line, YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SELL. when they say you do not, this is where it becomes unethical.

Let me share with you the story of a friend of mine who has been brainwashed by Liberty League and now, 18 months after joining, has earned little money and has managed to devastate his finances.

I had worked with Jim for years and had watched him climb the corporate ladder in the insurance business as a top producer. In my mind he had achieved "success" - nice house, rental properties, nice cars, boat etc. All the trappings of the American Dream.

About two years ago, I learned that he had quit his job after attending a Super Saturday event. He wanted to work from home an earn the "CEO income" so he could be with his family .His advisers are the Levinias who convinced him to buy all the products so that he could better "position" himself right from the start. He jumped in full boat buying the Beyond Freedom and Summit/ Liberty conferences. Not to mention the thousands of dollars he spent on advertising, drop cards , bandit signs, lead purchases, etc.

He has been trying to get me to join for at least 18 months and I will not do it. I was suspicious because of the way LLI tries to recruit others to join and that you have to pass up your first two sales. Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. I did sit in on a three way call and felt uncomfortable because of the "vagueness" of the product description and what exactly I would be selling. I also did research online and shared with him my discomfort and the information I had learned. I explained to him that I was uncomfortable with the fact that many newspapers, online advertising venues including and most recently , Craig's List has prohibited LL from advertising. Legitimate businesses aren't usually prohibited from advertising.

Needless to say, he has lost everything. He has over $1,000,000 in foreclosure judgments against him and is losing his home and income properties. He owes friends and family money and has not paid taxes since he has been in the league. This totals an additional $100k. He will not be able to buy a home, buy a car or even get a credit card for years. The debt is crushing. He will be filing bankruptcy shortly, yet he still tries to work this business. He says of any criticism of the League, that these are just people who did not work the business and failed at making money.

Well, I am thinking that his business model and that of LLI is not the type of model I would like to subscribe to....do your research, this is a sham that is costing people thousands and thousands of dollars and broken dreams.

And about the "CEO INCOME FROM HOME" "Don't believe.....Don't call!"

H   Brisbane, Australia

8:10am on Monday, August 3rd, 2009

As a stay at home Mum, (with an intelligent brain and able body) sitting at home watching Oprah every day.. (because I feel it's my responsibility to be here for my children), I have been on the lookout for a home business for quite some time now, even more so, the type of business whereby my partner and I could work together..

Whilst pondering ways by which I could possibly conjour up some money out of thin air today, I saw an ad on TV (conveniently screened during Oprah of course) which seemed to me, a beacon of freedom screaming, "Here I am! The opportunity you've been searching for!!".. So gullible as I am, I went online, expressed my interest and sat back, excited for the phone call that would come within 24-48 hours. The phone call which would inevitably make me wealthy enough to afford the mansion on the hill with all the amenities, private school education for my children and of course afford my husband the ability to stay home with me and our children and enjoy this wonderful life we were put here on earth to live..

I was contacted by this lovely sounding lady who didn't tell me anything at all about what the work entails, but seemed to want to know an awful lot about me. Interviewing me, asking me all sorts of questions about my career to date. I even felt so relieved to hear at the end of this "interview" that I was successful! That in me, she had found a "match". ~ A match for what I wondered..

Anyhoo.. I called in to the conference call as a dutiful "potential candidate" does and listened for 30 mins to a whole lot of rather vague information about how I am to simply pay $49.95, place a few advertisements, and follow up the inquiries. If those who inquire call into the conference call they are scheduled for and decide to go ahead with the opportunity, I will get paid!.. (but only after I have found 5 people of course who wish to fork out $1495 each..). What a fantastic opportunity!

I spent the next half an hour after the presentation call, trying to convince my skeptical husband that maybe it is legitimate! Maybe, just maybe we have stumbled on something! Scams don't just go ahead and advertise on national television do they???

Or maybe they do... My husband encouraged me to google LLI and see what I find..

And this is what I find.. even more testimonials to this "wonderful" product and opportunity!.. though these testimonials all appear to be alot more honest then those I heard earlier on tonight..

Tomorrow this lovely sounding lady will phone me to ask if I am interested and I am not looking forward to saying no to her.. She sounded very kind and we had a nice little chat on the phone.

I wonder if her happiness is genuine and if she is indeed successful in her business dealings.. I wonder if my saying no will be just another failed attempt in her plight to achieve the very life we are all searching for.

I feel like sending her flowers, though I feel I cannot afford to buy her flowers due to the potential cost of the phone call I made this evening thanks to her.. perhaps I should have asked how much I will be charged per minute for my call to this wondrous "1800" number.. Perhaps I'll wait till I receive my phone bill, then I might send her flowers to soften the blow.. :S

Thank you all for your very upfront and frank advice, good luck to all those who have found "wealth" with LLI. And to those who haven't: keep on keeping it real guys :) We're all in this together xxx

I was an associate/adviser with Liberty League for a period of 8 months, signed up under one of the top earners for 2008. I went in blindly, not doing my due diligence on the company, the founders, nor the day-to-day marketing necessary to succeed in this business. All I saw were the dollar signs, the 'freedom' that was talked about on the calls, and that this business was one of integrity and personal development. That hooked me in immediately, a community of like-minded people wanting to make a difference in the world, and making 6-figure incomes...I felt like I had found what I had always dreamed of.
I worked my business, followed the 5 success principles laid out, did my inner work, and spent thousands on marketing just as they taught. I also went to both the 3 and 5-day conferences, which were okay at best. Yes, the people involved were awesome, because a company who is all about personal development will naturally attract kind, compassionate folks. But, the speakers had minimal time to teach (a 4-hour session, some two 4-hour sessions), but, according to the leaders, the value was in networking with the top income earners, and receiving the nuggets of operating a successful business. Well, what was interesting, was that LLI set up wonderfully, a 'fake it until you make it' mentality, so almost everyone at the conferences, including myself, walked around with this facade. Positive thinking is great, yes, but, what was created at these events felt like disillusionment. Many people I met had been in the business for several months and still had not made their first training sale, but held onto this 'hope' that any day it will turn around. If that top earner can do it, so can I was my thought and the thought of many. After all, I was a top earner in my job, so why couldn't I be at this business?
However, for me, what I found, was that the marketing techniques that were encouraged were obnoxious and somewhat deceiving, and because it was just the 'norm' within the LLI community, I bought into it, for a while anyway.
As I began to finally do my due diligence a bit late in the game, I started to question myself if I felt good about the fact that most (over 85% taking into consideration net profits) failed in this business. So, if I win, financially, is it okay that most people I enroll will most likely lose financially? This was not feeling like a win-win situation for most. I was on my way to achieving financial success, but something was just not aligning for me. I made the decision to quit, and ended up passing along several thousand dollars to my advisor from those I had already enrolled and who later purchased their conference tickets. It was, financially, a very difficult decision to make, knowing that I would be giving up a lot of money, but in my own conscience, I felt it the right decision for me. Overall, I ended up about $25,000 in debt, but, I knew that I could not continue just for the money.
I share this in hope that people who are interested in this business will do their due diligence, ask a lot of questions, research, research, research, create a sound business plan/budget if the decision is to move forward. I wish I had, but it was a valuable lesson for me that I will take with me always.

Brent Payne and wife (Julia Payne) sold their share to Shane Krider for various reasons, but one main speculation is due to the fact that Shane Krider is only allowing the top trainers of Liberty League International to be trainers if they are trained, pay money, & practice Scientology communication teachings at the L Ron Hubbard Institute.

Brent Payne's sister Leslie decided to join Life Path Inc. another personal development Home Business due to the fact that she herself (an EMC member) did not want to become a Scientologist and lead an organization of people down the road of Scientology.

Liberty League's underground movement with people like Shannon Lavenia, John Lavenia, Gene Braxton, Lisa Molina, Bob Molina, Tony Rush, Jessica Rush, Kevin Knecht, Don Silver, Carla Keyser, Debbie Ruston, Michele Krider, Shane Krider, Andy Grant, Sharon Gist, and many many others politically connected to LLI's underground movement have decided to move towards Scientology as their basis for all teachings in communication and enlightenment.

Most of the people mentioned above with the exception of Gene Braxton, Debbie Ruston, Krider & the Lavenia's make an average of $5k per month...

- You ever see their name on the leader board
In fact once exposed to scientologies' teaching these LLI members are being called by representatives of L Ron Hubbard's institute in L.A. to join and give money to scientology to become a member.

ALL LLI ASSOCIATES SHOULD BE ADVISED THAT SCIENTOLOGY IS THE BASIS BEHIND LIBERTY LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL.

If you are ok with this fine, but at least you are aware that you are being led down a path of Scientology.

SHANE KRIDER IS HIGH AND RISING ON THE SCIENTOLOGY TOTEM POLE.

All or most of the "inner circle" EMC have moved to L.A. to practice scientology.

Liberty League Is NOW a scientology front. It was not when Brent Payne was involved, but now it is!

IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, you are leading people down a path that is not righteous.

If you are a christian, it is your job to lead people towards Jesus Christ and not away from Christ.

You are going into a legit business that has less than a .05% success rate in the United States.

The people you see on the leader board are in Australia and a few in the United States and Canada.

Why?

Go to www.google.au.com and type in Liberty League

Go to www.google.com and type in Liberty league

Whether you like it or not...the masses are affected by media and what others say.

So when you attempt to sell a business you want to have a good track record...

It is enough to have to learn all that is involved in operating and marketing a business, much less competing with an 800lb gorilla on your back (negativity online). Now put that and scientology together you have one hell of a sales job to do...

Some can do it, but they better be the savviest of savvy at manipulation, guilt tripping, brain washing, and scientology communication.

Shane Krider realized that people were not being successful at LLI so he is influencing everyone he can at LLI to go through communication training at the L Ron Hubbard Institute to learn effective communication skills.

If you are a christian and belief in JESUS CHRIST, you should humbly lick your wounds, take what you have learned pack your bags and head into a different company or different way to make money.

The Truth Will Set You Free.
What You Have Just Read Is Truth and none of the EMC or Shane will deny it.

Lynn, I feel your pain! We still have a few friends who are in LL. Just like your friend, they are spending money they don't have and have yet to make a dime. One person has been in LL for almost 2 years and has yet to make one single training sales, but yet he doesn't see the harm in buying conference tickets. He claims 2009 is going to be the year things turn around. He also says LL is a "recession proof" biz. Don't know how much longer they will be able to "fake it till you make it".

You know the old saying..."If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

I have spent two agonizing years watching a dear friend commit financial suicide by being a member of LLI.To this day he still says his affirmations, views his goal cards, participates in calls and works this business 6-8 hours a day. My friend was a former sales executive earning a very good salary with a pharmaceutical firm. He was lured into the League by the ability to work from home and maintain his income.

I warned him to check into this as it sounded kind of shady from the get go = high priced products and seminars, the need to recruit others under you, the fact that the first two sales were passed up to the adviser. I tried to tell him that no legitimate sales business would "pass up" the first two sales. Despite my warnings, he joined full force with product and seminar purchases.

He has lost thousands of dollars on expensive marketing materials with little results, buying leads from Extreme Leads (which LLI owns), not to mention over $60k from attending two years of attending the conferences.

He has lost his investment property, maxed out and lost his credit cards, his home is in foreclosure and his wife is on the verge of leaving. He owes family and friends thousands as well Yet, he continues to "fake it till you make it" and attempt to work this business even with some unfavorable information about LLI published here in the local newspaper.

Not only has he lost his money, he has lost his integrity. I feel this company is a pyramid MLM scheme and should be investigated by the authorities.

My advice, STAY AWAY! Check out Shane and Brent and their ties to Global Prosperity. Do your research!

I am currently an LLI Member and have been working my butt off for 6 months.
Haven't made a dime.
Spent thousands of dollars.
I was ripped off by my Summit Advisor, Rob Case.
This is the day I'm telling them to shove it !!!
If you want to be DISHONEST, and UNETHICAL and sell a crappy product for 10 times what it is worth, go for it.
For the most part they try to convince you it's okay to lie about their product to try and rip off the next guy down the line.
I'm sure there are some people who do good at this.
For the rest of us, the majority of us with morals, stay away.

Dennis, I really wish you the best of luck with LL! If you are already making a six figure income, you can probably afford decent marketing. Most people who want to join LL are broke and once they purchase the BF, they end up having very little to spend on ads and such. Please keep us updated.

I recently joined LLI and purchased the Beyond Freedom program. I'm about 6 weeks and $3000 into it. I have not made my first sale yet, but remain hopeful. I have a six figure job already, but am enticed at the prospect of working from home and making six figures. Getting leads is easy, but getting leads that want what I am selling(or not selling?) is the challenge. It can be difficult continuing to be rejected by potential associates...maybe that's why they provide the uplifting spirit...

I'll keep you informed.

Listening to the 30min presentation I quickly picked up on the fact that is was MLM - How else could it be described?? You are selling the profit-making idea of selling the same profit-making idea to others!!
Checking further I was disappointed to find that the touted base investment of $49.95USD was just the "tip of the iceberg" of what would be required to start running this business. . . . but the lure of mega-dollars was still tugging me along to investigate further.
After the Internet search uncovered this site - and I read the comments from others - my decision was clear.
I am very thankful for sites such as this who provide a forum to let others know of this "opportunity".
Thank you for helping me make the decision - A FIRM NO to this type of scheme. I, as per the comments of others before me, would have had trouble sleeping, with the knowledge that I had conned others into buying into this type of scheme, just so that I could realize the income benefits.
Maybe those successful folk in this business are traveling the world and partying so as to drown out their conscious?? .... Or maybe they have just squashed (Walt Disney's) Jiminy Cricket under a rock!

OK got another call today from sum one else i requested info from..... and it was from liberty league lol must admit tho when i said i had inquired about this through sum one else she said well we are a integral group of ppl and i will leave it for the other person to cal you back she pretty much let a sale go from me as sum one else had contacted me first...... i think that shows alot of integrity, actually i liked this girl better!! she said i could start of only paying 49.95 instead of 3000 but it would take alot of hard work to get paid the same amount of income then if i had paid the 3000 (which is to buy the product beyond freedom.

This is MLM for sure!! and i think the product they are selling you could learn by urself with research and time but i don't think u would get paid for it..... again i love the concept of a group of ppl helping each other out and earning money but still doesn't sit right with me i don't know why....... i might try it, if its only going to cost me $49.95 why the hell not... just not gunna tell my boy friend hahaha cause he thinks its full of crap.......

and as far as dodgy sales ppl i think this lady saying ill leave u alone has prooved they are not doging each other to get sales.....
Oh and they all keep rubbing it in that they are going to hawaii this weekend PRICKS lol

anywho stay tuned..... is anyone even reading this?

hmmmm, i dunno i mean it sounds wonderful!! the concept is just gorgeous, and u can make money sitting at home (its called the dole lol) but i seriously don't know how I'm going to get 3000..... i know it takes money to start a business but what am i selling..... more ppl to spend 3000.... i do like there way of positive thinking and if i win 3000 from power ball tonight i will definitely put it towards this venture!! no sorry thats WHEN i win 3000 from power ball tonight lol ;) (positive thinking)
I did find discrepancy's in stories tho, on the guys web site he has made a mint bla bla bla has a plane takes vacations ect ect whilst on the phone to him i got to talking first i leveled with him as a sales person (yrs of experience selling ice to the Eskimos) and said so basically I'm going to be getting ppl to be doing what I'm doing now... he said yeah pretty much... OK so on a conference call with sum other dude and when i tried to level with him as a sales person he said no no no we are not selling....... hmmmmmm....and then the guy i first talked to who had a plane and vacations said he was still in debt and has only been doing this for 2 months..... I mean i would like to believe in this and i am all for if u think positively u will achieve, its true!!! but something just doesn't sit right for me..... Ive been through a lot of crap met sum untoward characters in my time and this just feels like one of those moments.... so yeah unless i can come up with 3000 thats not going to affect me buying food and sending my child to school i think ill be a slave to the work force..... or just go hand my dole form in....

In saying this tho the concept of think positively is true!! and sure i might feel strange about this opportunity but i know its an experience and this things come and go life is what u make it, and if u think something is suss, u go with ur gut feelings!!

I will keep posting here as i progress and will let you know my finale decision in a few days.....

Ok im about to listen to a conference call.... I am intrigued... but a bit uneasy as to why they are dragging out exactly what i need to sell... I personally would be happy earning $24 an hour at a call center i just need the flexibility to work from home to be at my sons school in time to pick him up ect ect if all this takes is sitting in front of a computer all day ill bloody do it!! but from some of the posts here the product sounds dodgey to say the least.... well ill keep u posted!!

I feel I must contribute to the discussion my experience with LLI. I have mixed emotions regarding this company. Did I make what I expected? No. Did I put forth the effort requisite to make those dreams come to fruition? Probably not. For one, I never really liked talking to people on the phone, and you really have to be that type of person. I'm not very outgoing, again a necessary evil I believe in almost any form of self-employment. I'm afraid the only bitter feelings I harbor are toward myself. Granted I was working 2 jobs at the time, but I feel had I pushed a little harder I would have been successful. The product, at least the cheapest (quite the misnomer) one, I felt was worth the money. The principals I learned would have been the equivalent of paying a really good psychologist to teach me individually. There is good in it, but I think it helps to have: 1. A good recruiter, 2. A strong work ethic, and 3. Good people skills. Other people did notice the difference in me, but I truly failed to keep the momentum going. I've always been a bit lazy so it didn't come as a tremendous shock. At any rate, as far as being successful with a business such as this, the aforementioned requirements are just that; required.

People get real. There is NO 100% success in anything. In my corporate career, most of the people on my sales team were mid-level performers. No matter how much they talked... no matter how many hours they worked. If your approach to the game of life remains the same, so will your results. Superstars are just that Superstars. They find ways to get things done. Most of the negative here if you read it... are people selling their own stuff... Either products or their "stories" about their failure.

I have been involved with Liberty League for nearly 2 years. I have earned over $250k and will clear over $300k this year. This opportunity was an education as well on life. The life of an entrepreneur. I have other businesses interests now. Freedom.

Here's a thought to remember... people fail everyday. People win everyday. Get with the people who are winning... and WIN.

Been with LLI for 13.5 months now and I have been able to quit my job, and move into a better house. I am not a millionaire, but I earned a little over six figures last year.

The training and support is fantastic. The friendships are genuine.

I saw LLI as a vehicle. Ultimately I had to make it happen and realize my goals.

Liberty League International is simply the company that makes the products and pays the distributors. They help everyone to achieve success, but obviously it is up to us to make it come true.

Most people have quit were so close to succeeding in my opinion.

RE: Badly Burned

It is good to hear from another Aussie in a similar situation. I want to contact others going through a similar situation.

Badly Burned   Queensland - Australia

7:10am on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

I agree with so much of what has been said on here and I will keep it short because so much of what I have to say has already been said.

All Liberty League International caused me was heartache and pain. Like people have said, if you don't make tons of money they make YOU out to be the problem not the business. So many people who join LLI are so successful in their lives in so many ways and then they're made to feel like utter failures and that within itself should be criminal

Anyway, I will summarize what I have to say:

1. I warn anyone considering LLI in Australia to seriously, seriously think about it. I wish I had and I wish I did more research and actually looked it up on the net.

2. Second of all, as said above, Tony Robbins is the absolute master of personal development. I got a free ticket to his last Unleash the Power Within event in Australia and I can't even describe how awesome it was. His materials are a fraction of the cost of LLI products and the value is incredible.

3. As mentioned by the first person, Andrew, who replied to the post, I want to join a class action in Australia. I went through the worst time in my life when I was in LLI and was stunned at how cruel and judgmental the people in LLI were. I put so much into the business and got screwed.

If there is a law suit planned in Australia, I would love the details as I want to jump on board. People who visit this site, do you think we could band together and do something to get our money back?

I'll check back as it would change my life to get justice. I'm a good person and I have no doubt pretty much all the people who gave it a go are good people.

I wanted to help people and give to others, would be interesting to know how much of her 500k first year income Rachel Oliver shared with disadvantaged people/donated to charity.

I have been involved with Liberty League International here in AUSTRALIA for about 12 months. I have not made any money only achieving 1 training sale. I have decided to cut my losses and are no longer active in the company. I am not trying to sell anything here, I just want to give an honest opinion and share my experience with others who may be considering one of these top tier business opportunities (LifePath included).
Coming from a corporate background as a team leader I felt that I had what it takes to be successful when I was "interviewed". I saw the income disclosure on the website and believed that I could be in the top 3-8 per cent. I have taken the business very seriously from the start, have gone "full boat" invested in all 3 products costing USD$22,485 (over AUD$25,000) and attended the Liberty conference in Mexico. I have spent over $25,000 on marketing. I have followed the "6 steps to success" everyday, including the training calls. The calls are all about mindset but no specifics about marketing. The calls are focused on UPSELLING THE CONFERENCES. Associates starting out WILL BE PERSUADED to purchase conference tickets. My advisor is a leader in the top 3%($250k+) yet I still did not have success.
In my opinion, the business is reaching saturation here in Australia and there are plenty more associates in my situation. There is a high attrition rate and I am not talking about people that had no chance from the word go, I am talking about intelligent people that are honest and have dreams and aspirations, want to better their lives and provide for their family. I am one of them. My biggest issue is that there is a fair bit of deception going on. This totally goes against the companys motto of operating with integrity. Every associate I have spoken to is a "six figure income earner" or "on track to earn six figures" or has a "new car on order", we are told to fake it till we make it and get onto the live calls to give a testimonial about how wonderful the business is. I cannot do this as I operate with integrity.
There are plenty of websites are not compliant and misleading and IMO there will be a class action downunder in the future.

Hello

I have been using the Beyond Freedom product and I cannot praise it more highly, the barriers in my belief systems have been taken down, one after another after another. I have less "baggage" and am clearer and more set in my purpose. For this the Beyond Freedom has been a gift that has set me free is so many areas, and for which I would pay for many times over.

Do your due diligence and make a decision based on your fact, information and instincts.

Yes I saw the "scam" material posted on the internet, and felt truly forewarned. But came across an investor I know who joined and made $50K in four months. Yes the business works and yes people make great money, and yes there are those who havent got what it takes to make it great and quit and post their regrets.

Life is what you make it, and you get exactly what you focus on and EXPECT.

Cheers

My husband and I were with Liberty League international from 2004-2006. We made a grand total of $1000! We made our training sales and just one after that. We were not lazy about doing this biz. We treated LL like it was our religion. We did everything under the sun to market this. We spent close to 30k on this scam! The income disclouser says it all. I was with LLI for a little over 2 yrs. I don't understand how people are saying this is a scam. I earned a couple hundred thousand dollars (net) while I was partnered with that company. With any business there are people that will succeed and people who will fail. Most people lack the skills necessary for success in any business, much less an ultra-competitive industry like internet marketing. The ones who succeed are the ones that are willing to sacrifice and buckle down and learn what it takes to succeed. When you start with a network marketing company, YOU and your success are independent of the company. They really don't care whether or not you succeed, so you need to take that into consideration. You are the company, you are the variable, and you alone are accountable. Ample information exists outside your company's training network for you to educate yourself on what it REALLY takes to succeed...Do yourself a favor and learn those skills before you get started in an opportunity like this. Your bank account will thank you!

I have known two people who were scammed into joining Liberty League International. They both jumped in for the full ball of wax - product plus seminars. Both previously were successful executives and one a successful real estate investor.

One left the business after only a few months, realizing that all she had done was lost money. She also felt guilty trying to sell a product that she didn't believe in because she was expected to tell people about her prosperity, when in fact, she was flat broke. She had to file bankruptcy.

The other has spent $30,000 ( or more). He has spent tons of money with little results. He is now facing foreclosure on his investment properties, has had two cars repossessed and may be facing foreclosure on his home.

At what point is enough , enough? How much do these believers need to lose before reality kicks in? DON'T DRINK THE COOL-AID, PEOPLE! Don't give these snake oil salesmen any of your hard earned money!

Just got off the call. First, those of you who think this is a pyramid are uniformed re: what a pyramid is. This is not a pyramid. This is a business with expensive and, probably excellent.

The point is this company gives you the opportunity to start a business for less than $2000. I can't do it because I don't have the money but I see the value in their offering.

I was so excited when I found a site that I thought was part of the Secret and Mike Dooley. I gave my information and a women called me to explain the program. She had been a life coach and spoke highly of Dooley's work. She said they were looking for people who were happy & wanted to make at least 6 figures while helping others. You can not imagine my heart ache when I heard that stupid presentation. The man who talked only about the money (nothing about helping others) that can be made has pled guilty for tax fraud in regards to another company he owned very much like this one. Liberty has had their own legal problems. Wonder what happened to people's money when Mike's company went under?(Mike is the guy who blathers on & on when you call in) I say don't invest your money into a company that has had legal problems or hides behind other great names. I informed the woman who's website I responded to--NO! She said they were not interested in people who were not in tune with their vibration but yet spent a full page trying to explain why it was legit. Why bother if I am not in your vibration? Because she is trying to convince herself. If she believes so much in the company why not say right off what it is instead of hiding behind something as great as the Secret?
I hope this helped! (oh, and the $1500 Beyond Freedom program? One is posted on ebay for $5!! May have sold by now but it was on there!)

It does go to show that not everyone is cut out for this type of venture. They'd all rather stay with the herd and pretend they have security in a job. Employers have been taking advantage of people for centuries by paying them minimal wages for huge chunks of their working lives only to be just as poor when they retire as when they started in the work force. Who got rich there??? Oh yeah the shareholders or business owners.
I am proud to be a part of LLI and have found huge changes in my life as a result of it, not only financially but as a human being. This is a highly ethical company with good practices. If this is the way you judge things then do a google search on Microsoft, Walmart, and even Mother Teresa and you're guaranteed to find bad reviews about them all. Think for yourself! This is a business opportunity no one is forcing anyone to do anything they don't want.

I have just listened to the conference call and as a few other point of views state there is a lot of talk but not much information on what they are selling.
My wife is currently stuck on the phone explaining our financial situation and that we can't afford that sort of money at the moment. But the individual on the other end is pushing with ideas like borrow money of family or a friends as it pay off.
I am glad that I am a cautious person and still remember the pyramid scams from the 80's.

Hard to believe LLI have been persuading people for 7 years to hop on the "pyramid scam wagon" of scalping the next guy in line, who becomes your fellow employees, and then the competition once they join. They ask you to sell 3 overpriced products that they essentially tell you nothing about, other than a few lines of dung about a delivery to your door of a personal development DVD, and some way over priced seminars in exotic places! I am glad I found this blog so I could add my thoughts. Run far away I would say. If it walks, and looks, and smells like a duck, it's a duck! In this global economic mess, they prey on desperate unemployed people looking for easy street. Don't be a sucker what can I say. It is obvious they do a steak with sizzle; fast paced sales pitch on the conference calls, and have their top scammers chime in with their predatory success stories. I wasted my time listening to essentially a pyramid scheme. STAY AWAY - sure there are probably a few people making doe at it, but I hope bad karma pays them a visit, and hopefully the law and taxman too. Sorry to those that were left broken hearted and lost their hard earned money to the folks who were were supposed to be helping them. LLI are nothing but evil doers, to lazy to make money the old fashion way, and add no value to the real world economy. ( ps - I am not the competition - most of them are scammers too I would say)

I've just finished listening to the 'presentation' - I am now completely bemused why anyone would wish to become involved in a company that tries to make money out of its employees in turn to make money out of its employees. Now, I'm aware they market us potential suckers as 'Business Owners', but the reality is that we would be nothing but the underling paying our cash to the next level of 'employees' to make their money.
I went in with an open mind and was hopeful that I may have stumbled on a real opportunity, I'm more than happy to spend some time on the net placing adds and marketing a solid product to customers who would benefit from what I have to offer - but alas, what I discovered from the presentation call was that I, in actual fact, 'was' the 'customer' and was trying to be sold a product I did not want or need - or even ask for. I wanted a 'job' or 'earning opportunity' - not a 'spending opportunity' -- I can go to Big W for that, thank you very much!!!!!
And I do not wish to try to sell something for the sake of selling something to make money from someone who also just wanted to earn some money. Can the people who run this and participate in it not see the immorality in the 'system'??? How you can sleep at night astounds me!!!

Look, LLI is offering an opportunity, nothing more nothing less and of course "due diligence" should be done with any business. If you're going to buy a business, find out about the pitfalls and act accordingly. All businesses have risk associated with them: look at the current market where "traditional businesses" are closing at a record rate and so-called "job security" has gone out the door. Liberty League offers a personal development program and compensation plan with a 6 step business model to be successful. The reality is you do have to work the business and have some money behind you to set it up. Some people will be very successful and others won't: the difference is it is TOTALLY up to YOU. This is a legitimate network marketing business that uses leverage as a tool and has been looked into by the US Government, Dunn & Bradshaw and many over agencies so if it was a scam or unethical it would be listed as such. All I have to say is BE INFORMED regardless, you never know when your letting a great opportunity pass you by.

Aaaah .... another one of those "fake-it-till-you-make-it" cults. For how long can so many suckers first empty their bank accounts on these expensive "systems", dress up, put their best photographs and their "story" on their own sales page, pretend to "live-it-up", grin & smile through it all until it all falls through once again??? Sound familiar? Anyone out there done Herbal Life? Got the message now? STAY AWAY GUYS. KEEP YOUR MONEY TIGHT - WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS MORE THAN YOU WILL HAVE WITHOUT GIVING IT AWAY TO THIS BUNCH. Ask yourself this question: How do I pretend to be this happy when I know I'm being had by the same people who are bull *****ing me into duplicating what they are doing?

LLI is just a company wih a shell, but with nothing inside. LLI is selling people basic emotion as a product?? If everyone watch the DVD, and then be success for a whole life, there will be no poor people in the world, I am so disappointed that LLI sell this as a product , this is only the cover of the company , make you feel good when you sell people produce, you will be one of the LLI customer first before you making any money, because someone already make money out of your pocket, money have to come from somewhere, not just come from nowhere. Please excuse my spelling mistakes.

I have to rate this program as Dreadful due to the Dreadful 5 Stars that are given by the scam artists of Liberty League or LL as they call it.

If you notice, all 5 stars, and I mean every one of them sound like a pre-written testimonial.

Anyone that falls for something like this, deserves to have their credit cards and more wiped clean.

You can google Walmart and you better stop shopping there too, if you believe everything you read on the INTERNET. If you are the type to believe what you read without getting the REAL information then you aren't worthy of going into ANY business period.

I have just completed the call, and I think it is everyone’s individual opinions placed here and there needs to be someone with a marketing background and the qualifications to comment instead of the 'anybody' out there. I'm not reading too much into any of these blogs because they could easily be placed by competitors of LLI... anyway I think options should be left for the experts

I just sat through a conference after responding to an ad for a "Director of Sales" position at RSI... The rep called and complimented my resume, told me how fantastic I was, and gave me the blah blah about "wouldn't you like to work 3-4 hours a day and make 6 figures a year??????"..

Here's my response to her after listening to the conference:

----

So, let me get this straight.....

I pay $50, and then I have the right to sell a $500 "product" for $1500 and pocket $1000. After doing that, 1 of every 3 people is gullible enough to then buy a $2500 product for $7500 - so I can pocket another $5K...

a) Why would ANYONE pay $7500 for a conference like this? b) Why would anyone pay $7500 knowing that $5000 is going to the "rep" for no work whatsoever
c) Even if the conference was worth $2500, why wouldn't the customer just pay $50 to join and then go to the conference for $2500...

I'm not sure who I feel sorrier for -- you for having to sell this, or the people that actually end up buying it...
I also found this to be an interesting summary..

I'd say good luck, but I wouldn't mean it... In these economic times, scamming people out of thousands of dollars is just evil...

Very diappointed to hear that you all don't believe in product. I've been doing it for 12 weeks and have been very successful.

Just goes to show that you all need to do the motivational 90 day course, to change the NEGATIVITIES into POSTIVES and once you've mastered that you'll be suprised how successful you can become.

I went on the liberty league presentation and it makes sense to me, but then I am a business man. The marketing will be simple and the products strike me as good value, I have experienced lots of personal development products and seminars and the good ones are worth 10 times their price. I have carried out some extensive investigations and on the basis of my findings I will definitely join, and I know I will be successful, but then I use personal development so I guess I will always succeed.

Well I have just listened to the 30 min scripted presentation. It was clear after less than 2 min that it is a pyramid selling scheme. With a product to legalize the setup. While I may look into it further I was concerned at the lack of attention to the actual product they were selling. This has to be a dead give away that it is not the best in the market. If you are going to offer a product to the market talk about the product not the margin on selling it, if the product is good the margin will come.

Well, here it is - I know a couple of people involved in Liberty League - I KNOW they have seven properties each, drive a Jag - have been able to stay at home to raise children. I knew them before they joined. What I will say about LL, it definitely improves self-belief, self-confidence and raises your expectations on seeing goals without barriers. -

I am NOT selling it, just saying it does have a positive side too. For me, its a sales job. Selling a dream. If you are not living your dream life, you ARE open to be sold the dream. If you are looking for a car - you are open to be sold a car. To me, its no different to Tony Quinns Health products or Scientology. People in LL making you feel bad if you don't succeed? - Wake up please - that's what most of society & religion do everyday of your natural life. YOU are the captain of your life - get on with it.

Over the holiday's she was evicted from her apartment, had sold everything she owned. I cannot believe I just read the comment above mine -

"I also can't understand why so many people base their decisions on a 30 minute presentation."

Maybe innocent people do this as this is what Liberty League Associates heavily market!
Place an advertisment, ring the person who answered the ad and direct them to the 30 minute Business Presentation Call. A LLI associate is now informing us that everybody should be exercising extreme diligence and not to rely on a 30 minute presentation to help you make your decision!

Why market the 30 minute call then? Why not provide a list of associates (both the money makers and the not so successful)for unsuspecting victims to ring? More importantly what's so wrong with being an Average Joe? Hell if it's' honest why not!

As I was being tricked into signing up with LLI I was only in contact with the person I was a training sale for and my so called advisor who took $1000 profit from me. I did not know anything about any community apart from these 2 people. I'm sure if I had asked for a list of people to contact so I could do my homework I would be directed to more liars.

An associate has single handedly proved that it's not a simple 3 step system you follow to make money with LLI. We are now being told that one of the steps should be follwed up by speaking to experienced people of LLI who obviously are not going speak a bad word about the company. So your basically damned if you do and damned if you don't!

I believe the people at Liberty League head office should start adding onto the 3 step system so it is hell of a lot more acurate!

An easier solution - STAY AWAY!

IT is amazing to me that so many people spent so little time checking Liberty League out through reliable sources if any. Liberty League is a legitimate way to make money and it's not for everyone. Not everyone is ready to move from employee to entrepreneur. People would think nothing of plopping down $250,000.00 for a franchise business which buys them a job and headache. Yes, after 3 years they may make a profit if they last. Look at legitimate statistics on Network Marketing businesses. Look at what Donald Trump and Robert Kiosaki say about Network Marketing in their recent book. Contact the Federal Trade Commission. Dunn and Bradstreet rate Liberty League with 3 stars. I personally base my decisions on reliable sources not average joe's uneducated blogging. I also can't understand why so many people base their decisions on a 30 minute presentation. Why not interview many people in Liberty League, spend a couple of hours on the website..etc. There is information about what the products do for you on the website. It's clearly there. Get ready people because whether you like it or not. If you want to play small, then play small and stay where you are. People who don't take risk, never get anywhere!!!!! Yes, owning a business is a risk. So is getting a job. Personally, I'd rather take the risk of making it in my own business and have freedom than work for someone else.

Run, jump, hide do anything and I mean ANYTHING just stay away from Liberty League associates. For some strange reason there is currently a very strong focus here in Australia.

I too was told by a very confident Liberty League associate who happened to be on Rachel Oliver's team that I would be making thousands in just weeks. It did not happen. I did everything I was supposed to yet I got no results and definately got no help or assistance what so ever from the scammer that signed me up. They didn't want to know me.

Hi, I am not a member of Liberty International, I I will never be, but I was just searching to see if I was off base on what I thought.
Here is where my mind is...
I got a call from a lady who said her and here husband were making a "tremendous income" from doing something this simple. I was skeptical, but agreed to look at the site that she emailed me. I looked, and my jaw hit the ground at their outlandish prices. Selling is not hard for me, I run two businesses already and make sales all the time, but $1500 for a home study course? I sent her a message back saying that the prices are too outlandish, and I would feel like a criminal. I have been to 3 day conferences for cheaper than one third of the cost of Liberty International products. I have walked away with so much in one of those, that I filled up a notebook with marketing ideas, and used them to skyrocket my martial arts school to double what is was making inside 90 days.
Also, looking at this business model, who is this program going to appeal to? Of course, something like this should appeal to everyone, that goes without saying. We all want to change our lives for the better. Maybe a better question is "Why wold this program appeal to anyone more than a few books at the store for $50." Think about that, reading a few good self help books and keeping an open mind are really what matters. I can get open mindedness from myself for free, I don need an upwards of a $13k seminar to do that.
The only reason to buy this ridiculously overpriced program is to recruit other people to buy and sell this ridiculously priced program. Think about it... there are 2 scenarios with a retail customer who has no intention of joining. The first is that they buy the product, it doesn't work for them, and they bash the company and the product. The alternative is that they take an incredible amoutn out of it, it does change their lives, and now they are their own personal walking "Self help book". Either way, does anyone see any chance at repeat business from this? Not from straight retail, no. I do see repeat business from those enrolled who are out trying to get other people to enroll so they can keep the hype going.
The "nice" lady's reaction was simple. She stated that I obviously don't understand what is being offered and I don't understand the income potential. I do fully understand that you could make a fortune. Its not likely, but you could. I also understand that way the business works. Let's say you are broke, so only go in at base level. You make your 5 sales, making your sponsor $5000. Statistically, in sales, most people never close more than 4-6 sales, that is why so few people are successful at MLM's and car sales. So, you worked for free, after paying in our investment. I pointed this out and she called me a fool. Does anyone reading this think I sound like I am a stupid man?
I think the business is immoral, it should be illegal, and it is only a matter of time before everyone else realizes that this really is just something to market a marketing system. You are selling the product in hopes of getting them to do the same.
Its not illegal, but it should be. I will have a big smile on my face the day this corrupt corporation eats itself alive.

I got totally scammed! I answered an ad on Craigslist and I was interviewed by Emil Torabi for a sales position who told me very confidentaly that his associates sold at least 14 units a month and that it was very possible to make up to 14K a month! He envited me to listen to a presentation that night and that same night I got a call from the Mr. Torabi who then conferenced his "advisor" Lisa Molina automatically knew what I was going through and was very persistant that I could change my life and make serious money for the better saying she herself was working 3 jobs before she got started with Liberty League International and when she made the decision to join LLC, she made 6 thousand in her first week!

I believed everythng hook line and sinker. The hook I felt for was being able to spend more time with my family. Everyone told me I was going to get scammed but I didn't believe it. I would go online and read the blogs about this company and thought, I will give it an honest to goodness shot and not everyone has the same outcome, I believed I could really make it. Well...let me tell you I got totally TOTALLY FREAKIN SCAMMED!!! I paid $1495 for the Beyond Freedom package so I could learn about the product I was selling, $39.99 for the membership for Liberty League to be able to conference, $39.99 for my 800 # and $25.00 a month for my website. Fast forward 3 months, I didn't sell not one unit. I called and called people, spent money for advertising and leads..and when I realized after about 3K I had spent that I was broke and this was usless, I was told by Emil that this is a serious business and not to be taken lightly. But I worked so hard and I still didn't sell anything.

Bottom line--I believed, worked hard and still got scammed. Anyone on this blog or who is out there who defends this company is lying to you. Save your money..come up with a real business that will withstand this economy. You're better off wiping your backside with the money and flushing that same money down the toilet than to spend your hard earned money on this shameful scam!

I couldn't see myself shelling out $1500 in addition to other fees with this company, because I felt like I was being pressured to get involved in this business. I remembered talking to a few people that contacted me about an opportunity with LLI and these people didn't provide any significant information as to what I would be doing with this company, which made me skeptical; my main reason for not pursuing this opportunity. Either you are ready to join, or have a nice day was the attitude that I received. I am suggesting that LLI is a scam for two reasons; the pressure tactics that were used in an attempt to get me to join and as I said earlier, the either join now or have a nice day attitude; a big turn off for me. This was far too much money for me to shell out without knowing what it was that I would be actually doing. After seeing numerous complaints about this opportunity on other websites, I felt like I made the right decision in avoiding this venture. Be encouraged.

I think the one thing that is not being mentioned here is that the prices are high on the products for a reason. Most of the money on these products goes back to the members, NOT the company. It's a way to be in profit fairly quickly without taking years to build a huge downline, and it is a huge motivator.
I feel that the presentations are a bit rushed and hyped, but I've had a chance to talk to some of the top earners and they seem honest, helpful and down-to- earth. Bottom line is, that you have to trust your instincts and do what is right for you.

Liberty League International is not a scam,it is just terribly difficult to succeed.I spent the $1,495.00 on Beyond freedom. It was fine ,good advice, and a little interesting.I spent 6 weeks,at it,spent about $4,000.00 on newspaper advertising, and never sold my 1st one.I consider myself excellent,on the phone and persuasive. You don't sell it ,you run into the Ace or lay down sale.
I would say the success rate of sale to people you get on the phone, inquiring about the product ,is less than 1%.I guess.0035.The way to be successful at it,is to have many people under you,be at the top of the list,on a Liberty League search[domain],and spend the $22,500.00 , from day 1.Good luck to Brent,Shane, and Tony.

This is an unethical, dishonest, heartless scam. Thankfully I only lost a few hundred dollars, some have lost 1000's and tens of 1000's. I have been in personal development for 20 years and this company has nothing new or even comparable to the masters such as Anthony Robbins.

There are past and current lawsuits and a criminal past for the owners from past illegal businesses. There are undisclosed relationships and business arrangements within the company with every part of the business designed as an additional profit stream:

e.g. Extreme leads is offered as a recommended company for business leads-they fail to mention they actually own it.

The cost to change a date on a seminar is 10% cost of ticket. i.e. $1300 for the $13000 seminar. This is just to make an administration change! If you can't make the conference you don't get ANY money back!

When you pay for the conferencing system (antiquated as it is) you must pay 3 months in advance. In the fine print you must cancel within 3 days to get refund.

I tried and they didn't reply to my email, web mail or fax until I threatened to file a complaint with the AZ AG office. They will not refund my money. Imagine charging 3 months service, the customer canceling in under a week and not returning ANY money!

They do not provide any actual details of any of their products apart from video testimonies. You pay $1500 for a course and can't even get info on the contents. You pay $US8000-13000 for a seminar and they can't even provide info of the speakers, topics covered etc. CRAZY

The worst thing about this business is they are wolves in sheep's clothing. To a 20 year student of Personal Development (MYSELF)I think to actually use this area to rip people off is just sick. Get people at their most vulnerable time and stick the knife in.

As an ex member of Liberty League International my advice to those reading this would be to EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION when making your decision about Liberty League International.

Yes there are the select few that are making huge amounts of money but they are doing so in an unethical and deceitful way.

Not all the information you need to make a well informed decision regarding costs is revealed on the Business Presentation Calls. Take my word you will be paying a hell of a lot more than what you are told on these calls.

It's not just a "simple 3 step system" you follow as stated in the calls. It is so much more involved cost wise.

I have made a number of contributions regarding my experience with Liberty League International on especially the astrononical costs of keeping my business afloat for 6 EXPENSIVE months.

Once again be very careful and do your research before diving into your pocket.

All the best.

I am trying very hard to understand how to make money out here with out having to suffer a 9 to 5 and get no where. The LLI business model offers an advantage for
people that have 25k to invest or more, but there are many opportunities out there to make money with out breaking the bank. If anyone asked for a unreasonable amount of money upfront with no guarantee of money back or proven system or even customer base, I say STAY AWAY. Customers what value in what they purchase and great customer service. If a company is constantly pitching a business opportunity, but doesn't give you information on product or service and cost then they have something to hide. Don't invest until you have the information you need to make a smart, informed, consumer and business owner centered decision.

I think there is a grain of truth in what everyone is saying. I will say that I learned a lot in LLI and from its products which I still use today although I am not in that company. In fact I will give the credit of my success as a sales professional to what I learned in LLI.

Here is the facts. LLI does require talent. One must be a sales person and even more a strong closer. But it is very possible to succeed in that business and if you do the payoff is sweet.

More importantly, the company has been around for a while, over 7 years, and is pretty stable. What they really sell there is a way of living, more than any one product.

I was a summit advisor with LLI, I did spend and make alot of money. I am not with them now but the experience I think was priceless.

In closing, if you see yourself as a talented, leader, successful, and confident, you are ready to make things happen for yourself, LLI is for you.

If you are a care giver, logical thinker, unsure of yourself, or experimenting with businesses, there are better options.

I lost over 10k working the LLI business for about 6 months. I managed to get qualified and sell a couple of beyond freedom programs. I still think their products are overpriced and I wasn't given all the details about this opportunity before I joined.
I wish I had done my homework, but I was desperate for a change at that point in time. Calling hundreds of people and lying isn't a way to make a living.
The owners in arizona are on top of the pyramid,so to speak, and for the price they charge for the two conferences, they don't need everyone in the country to do this, just a few. I could of gone to mexico on vacation for $1500 on my own and saved $6500, very greedy people, shane and brett.

I will first admit, I was drawn by the opportunity to make really easy money without a lot of work....I worked the system for a while...but couldnt sleep at night. I walked away from my first few sales without taking a dollar from anybody...because I figured out that it is a ruse. It takes a terrible product that teaches you no earth shattering concepts...and couples it with a dishonest concept of MLM...They say it isnt MLM, but in the training they tech how to articulate this system to get arond the loop hole............Here is why I think that this business model is wrong for our society, 1. It provides no (honestly) positive benefit to our country 2. Money isnt achieved by hard work (its achieved by scalping the next guy in line) 3. The business materials, people & business model are knowingly evasive & deceptive in the marketing of the "Product" I didnt find the Beyond Freedom....What I found was beyond slavery.....to the tune of 15k.
