Monavie Juice Review
Is Monavie Juice a Scam?
Monavie is a Multi Level/Network
Marketing company that has become extremely
popular from its main product, Monavie
Juice. The company was founded in Jan
2005 and is currently active in the United
States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand,
Singapore, and Japan.
Monavie Juice is a blend of 19 nutrient
dense fruits highlighted by the Brazilian
Acai berry. The berry is known for its
high levels of antioxidants, minerals, fatty
& amino acids, and Phytonutrients. The
recommended regimen for Monavie Juice is 2
to 4 ounces per day.
The real benefits to Monavie Juice are
disputable since the product is not a drug
there are limits to what benefits can be
advertised. Thus, the company makes
blanket statements like, Monavie Juice helps
against free radicals, or it's essential to
maintaining a healthy & energetic lifestyle.
However, independent distributors of
Monavie often add their own stories while
promoting the product. I've heard
everything from Monavie Juice helps lower
insulin need in diabetes patients, to the
juice has helped relieve joint and ligament
pain.
These stories are purely anecdotal and
there are no substantiated cases of Monavie
Juice having curative powers. Further,
there is no proof that any potential health
benefits are exclusive to Monavie Juice and
can't be obtained from a cheaper product.
However, the Monavie Juice business opportunity
can be lucrative to people that are
experienced in Network Marketing.
The company has even attracted some of the
industries leading direct sellers such as
Brig Hart.
On the flip side if you don't know how to
recruit past your warm market you're going
to be up the creek with this business.
Realistically in order to succeed with
Monavie, and for that matter with any other MLM,
you need to be able build a strong down line
that will keep growing for you.
There is a reason that only 10-20% of
people make money with MLMs and that's
because they require immense perseverance
and a lot of hard work. You also have to be
careful to preserve your relationships and
not be too persistent when selling to your
friends and family.
Overall the Monavie Juice opportunity is
not a scam, like many people have begun to
call it. If you work hard you may have
success, the problem with MLMs is that when
you're starting late in the game the odds tend
to be stacked against you.

Comments to date: 120. Page 2 of 2. Average Rating: Rose Illinois | 4:33pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008 | I just started drinking the juice and it's hard for me to say if it's working. I just want to respond to the person who drank the juice and resulted to anaphylactic shock. As I was reading the ingredients of this juice, people who are allergic to nuts and some of the ingredients should not drink this because it will result to an allergic reaction. So please be careful. |
George Boothman Dallas Texas | 1:31pm on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | Youth Juice Orac score per serving 13,000 kills Monavie |
Bryce Bowers Calgary, Alberta | 1:27pm on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | Monavie is a good juice product but like everything something can always get upgraded. By camparing nutrional FACT labels on the back of the bottles Youth Juice is a far supeior product. |
Diana NY | 8:40am on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | I just want to add that practically all the negative comments are coming from people who haven't tried it or taken it religiously every day for at least a month. How can you make a negative comment if you've never even tried it? I agree the way they sell it is annoying but that's just the way it is! |
Diana New York | 8:34am on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | Mona Vie CURED my Rheumatoid Arthritis! I can make this claim because it is a medical fact. Along with NUMEROUS other benefits, the four abnormalities in my blood, diagnosing RA, became NORMAL after 2 months of drinking this juice. My doctor NEVER saw this before! I have stopped my RA meds along with pain meds and continue to have PERFECT BLOOD for over a year now. Now does that sound like a scam? Also, I don't sell it or make money in any way. I find it would take too much work and I'm not a good sales person. Instead, I joined for about $40 so I could buy it at the distributer's price. I order 2 cases at once for $253.00 (that's with shipping) and it lasts two months. I've seen health stores selling each bottle for nearly $50.00! The way I buy it, it costs $31.50 a bottle which is about $5.00 a day. MY HEALTH IS WORTH IT! Any questions, I'd be happy to try and help. |
Devin San Jose | 12:48am on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | My piano student's mom introduced me to Monavie. I only bought a bottle for PR's sake. I drank it and after about 5 weeks my sinuses started clearing up. About 2 weeks later, I went to bed and noticed my compressed low back pain that I had had for 14 years felt relief. That is what sold me on the product. After years of spending money on Chiropractors, Acupunturists, Traditional Medicine and even Bioenergetics, they only lasted while I was in treatment. Monavie has lasted much longer (7 months) is much less expensive for this unexpected result and actually worked. I recommend it. |
shelly lancaster, pa | 1:22pm on Monday, June 23rd, 2008 | Just like anything else, you really have to try it for yourself. I was very skeptical, but my Father kept begging me to try it, (which was oddly out of character for him). I finally did just to keep him quiet. I must say I was quite surprised when I immediately began sleeping through the night for the first time since my three year old son was born. The result was more energy! Additional benefits began revealing themselves one by one. Most people who decide to join this marketing project do so because they have reaped personal benefits from this juice. We spend so much money every day on foods with ingredients we can't even pronounce. In addition we put blind faith and money into medicines that often do more harm than good. To that effect, a $39 start up fee seems minimal when compared with the benefits. Discover it for yourself.

Todd georgia | 8:10pm on Friday, June 20th, 2008 | MonaVie is the real deal. You get what you pay for. Why aren't Cartier diamonds available at the local jeweler? Quality or Quantity. There are plenty of companies jumping on the acai bandwagon, however, the patent protected acai powder cannot be duplicated. So all of you who think the imposter is the same for less $- you get what you pay for. This stuff is the best thing you could ever put in your body! Monavie baby- Monavie! |
Christina united states | 4:12pm on Monday, June 16th, 2008 | I am just beginning to research the monavie program. I have been involved in other network marketing ideas that turned sour. However, I have yet to find any logical argument to the downfall of this juice or the company for that matter. I have been drinking the juice for about a week and have felt better in many ways and have slept better. Maybe it is pshchological, maybe not. I couldn't say. I can say that I personally know several people that have began making fairly decent money in a relativly short time. If there are any legitimate negative arguments out there I would love to hear them so that I may investigate. Until then I would have to say that I am sold on both the juice and the program. |
Elsa Maria Dallas Texas | 3:09pm on Saturday, June 14th, 2008 | This has been a really interesting thread. I, for one, wish that those that drink MonaVie would not post testimonials. It is dangerous because they imply health claims and it puts the company in danger. For those that are negative about MLM, there is not much to be said. It is not for everyone, but a traditional company is not for everyone either. Why discourage someone else from what they want to achive? Forget the testimonials and forget the negativity about MLM, research the PRODUCT and then share an opinion. The negative comments posted really show a lack of information or misinformation - except for the person with the anaphylactic shock. Anyone can be allergic to anything - always read labels. Do your research and you will find that MonaVie is an exceptional product considering the convenience and value. I agree that one could create a blend of fruit at home that contained a similar ORAC value, but it would require a tremendous amount of fruit. Plus, part of what we are paying for is the research on the specific fruits and the variety and level of phytonutrients contained in the fruits. The other thing we are paying for is convenience and timing. The fruit in MonaVie is picked at maturity - I don't have access to that at home nor do I have time to prepare it each day. I also don't have the expertise to combine fruits to get the same level and type of phytonutrients.
The one thing that I find amusing is the standard to which MonaVie is being held - possibly if there were fewer testimonials posted it would seem less unbelieveble. The best thing to do is to google a specific disease and inflammation. Fruit that is hign in phytonutrients gives your body the nutrrients it needs to deal with inflammation and that will give you an idea as to whether you will find it beneficial. Google phytonutrients, too - virtually everyone is desperately lacking in phytonutrients and you can then decide if you want MonaVie as your source of phytonutrients.
The important thing is to not use this topic as an additional source of stress - that only creates a greater need for antioxidants! |
Melanie R Saint John NB Canada | 6:10am on Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 | First of all if Monavie was a fabulous product, why is it only available through pyramid type sales? Why is this "Super Product" not readily available in stores and mass marketed? Secondly, a large percentage of Monavie's claims contain the word "may". A low fat diet "may help you loss weight, a cookie " may taste good. Yes, a diet may work if you stick to it, a cookie may taste good if it was made with tasty ingredients. There is no 100% guarantee. I am sure that there are health benefits to Monavie, there are health benefits to eating an apple or any fruit for that matter. I am certain as many people jump on the Monavie band wagon, many are jumping off. The expense is ridiculous. Eat fruit, drink water, exercise and donate to charity. Come on people, there are people who don't have anything to eat and you are wasting precious dollars on Monavie? Get real!! Every scam deserves a sucker...climb on board "the get rich train!!"
Lastly, I am certain some people do feel the affects of Monavie, some people feel the affects of placebos. I am not a fan. |
Jason Komard Canada | 12:54am on Saturday, May 31st, 2008 | Sure .. It's not something you can't put together at the health food store.. Acai Worlfberry etc etc
and end up with the same Orac score for 1/4 of the price..
Unless you want to give your Money to Mormons.. everybody's Mormon is the Monavie cash suck. |
Robin Georgia | 12:05am on Sunday, May 11th, 2008 | Well, after reading all of the things written I am scratching my head. First, yes, you can buy the Acai mixed drink in the Grocery store, but, keeping the drink in your stomach is another thing all together. It tasted worse than nasty.($5.50 for 2 bottles, you would need 60 bottles for 1 month, total cost $165.00) Second, my dad was taken OFF of his blood pressure meds after taking this for 2 weeks.( he was on them 10 years) It was easy to see his legs were not swolen. My father has written proof from the Doctor. Like Nancy G. our friends and family are not going to lie to us or any one else.
Mona Vie is real and all of these people either have never drank it or possiably have their own agenda. So, if these people are saying don't believe the people drinking it, then why should you believe these people telling you not to believe it. |
Larry Wallace San marcos texas | 1:13pm on Monday, May 5th, 2008 | Both my girl friend and I went to a Mona Vie testing a few weeks ago. As I'm a Naturopathic Physician I was a little skeptical bout the whole thing. After listening to our guest speaker and asking a lot of questions, we took home a bottle of this juice (free of charge). The first night both of us poured about 2 oz of Mona Vie Active. As I felt no different the next morning, my girl friend told me she sleep better and felt better after suffering from a car accident a few months prior. Both of us poured 2 oz of the Mona Vie Active until the bottle was empted and few days later. After being off of the juice we both notice that the juice was actually working and now we felt like we did before we started taking it a week ago.
Our conclusion is that the Mona vie active, gives you more antioxidants than other comparable products. On an average most people don’t receive the vitamins and minerals that the body needs. My clinic is now offering to patents the Mona Vie and Mona Vie Active. So if you want some information and a free tasting stop on by. Kym Southern California | 1:36pm on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 | This product with the green label landed me in the emergency room with anaphylaxis. Be careful, find out what exactly is in this drink because it was NO!!! miracle juice! I only drank 2 oz.(1 shot). The nurse in the ER said I wasn't the first patient after drinking this juice so BE CAREFUL! |
Mark California | 11:22pm on Thursday, April 17th, 2008 | Why can't I find the ORAC score PER OUNCE of what is actually in the bottle??? Not interested in grams or the actualy berry, I want to know after it has been frozen and then mixed in with other juice what is the REAL ORAC score? |
Frank smith Orange County | 4:29pm on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 | $50 per bottle x 52 Weeks = $$$$$ |
John Clermont Florida | 2:18pm on Monday, March 31st, 2008 | The person who commented before me claimed you could get the Acai berry at most local grocery stores. Is he/she kidding?
The program is solid and the drink helped me a lot with herniated disc pain in my back. When I stop using Monavie the pains return. |
George Belleville,IL | 7:42am on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 | Monavie did nothing for me. I was told it would help my arthritic ankle. It may help some physiologically but I think it has no medical value. As far as the Acai berry, you can get it at most local grocery stores. |
Nancy G Location unknown | 1:27pm on Thursday, December 20th, 2007 | Monavie Juice is not a scam!..., First of all there are many amazing testimonies from people who are drinking Monavie and what it has done for them. I highly doubt that my friend's mother is making up the fact that she feels better now after years of pain. I don't think that I am imagining that I have more energy and my joints feel better now too. I really don't think the other testimonies that I have heard are false either. I know how I feel and what it has done for other people. That is all that matters to me.
Second of all no company can make a claim that the "potential health benefits" are exclusive to that company only. I believe the part you may have misunderstood is that Monavie has a powerful, freeze dried Acai powder (Opti Acai) that is PATENT protected. The freeze dried Acai powder has a high ORAC score of 1027. Do you know any other company that can make that claim and stand behind it? Monavie does have science behind it's product. You will be hearing more and more about this product! In order for you to see the benefits of Monavie, you should try it for at least 60-90 days. That is true with most supplements you take. Read the labels!
The reason why Monavie can not make claims and does not make claims that it will cure or prevent disease is because Monavie is not FDA approved. Any product that is not FDA approved can not make those claims, even if they know how it has helped others. It takes years to be FDA approved. All those drugs on the market did not get FDA approved overnight, either. It took years of testing. Have you heard of any drugs that were FDA approved and are now in trouble?
Mona Vie is a blend of 19 whole fruits: seed, pulp, and skin. Monavie is for family, friends, neighbors, athletes, seniors and young children. The star ingredient is the Acai berry, which is being called the world's #1 Super food. It has been shown to reduce cholesterol, improve the quality of sleep, improve focus and clarity, increase energy, and suppress appetite. As you start to have proper nutrition, your body can help heal itself. When you give your body what it needs, it's amazing what your body can do for you. That is what Monavie is about. Monavie started in 2005. That was only 2 years ago. This is a fast growing company with great potential. Yes, you are right, this can be a very lucrative business. |
