Misleading and deceiving

Applied for a personal loan and got a call from one loan place claiming I was approved and they would like to go over my options. Come to find out, They don't even offer loans they are a debt consolidation company and they want you to use their services( that you have to pay a lot of money for).

If I had the money to consolidate my debt, I wouldn't be applying for a personal loan. It's not rocket science people. I applied for a loan because I need money not because I want to give you money that I don't have!! Poor representation on their behalf and I believe false advertising, no?

Scam!
November 28, 2018

They are a total rip off they pull your credit report summary not report which they charge you for try to get you into fixing your credit by Lexington law when they said I would be approved for my loan.

I said 17 times I can take care of my own credit report as I have in the past and the only negative remark has been disputed several times it will be off by next year, he kept throwing that in my face I said if I can't do it you can't either but I went along then added it was 109 I'm like no that's ridiculous.

Needless to say this nonsense played out for longer then it should, my results came back for credit cards. lol like are you for real I asked for a loan I can easily apply for a credit card. Calling to cancel LL is a pain in the butt as they're "always" busy. STAY AWAY!!!!!

What a rip off

Had a VM on my phone to call and confirm I was the one who applied. I called and was led to believe by Syvaana that someone was coming on the phone and repeat the questions about my credit and employment etc to just answer same as I did to her.

He talked so fast and part time he like he was reading crap at a low volume and reading to his self... anyways he ask for a c c that I was gonna use to have funds deposit on.. thinking it may be a scam I have him a prepaid then he ask for another in which I did give my debit card number.. then he said someone be contacting me tomorrow.

I said no Syvanna said u would connect be back to her, he said he didn’t have a way and hung up.. I called the number again and some smartass answered and said check my email. I did and it the same BS from previous I finding out that not even a loan company... they best hope the address they got listed, cause I’m at the end of my wits here and they taking advantage of me gonna cause me to go have lunch with them if they or the ones they connected me with takes money for account....

total con artist
September 13, 2018

I applied for a loan because I needed a little help getting inventory going for my small business. It has been my dream to open my very own online boutique. One place said I was approved for $1000 loan but first i had to sign up for a credit repair service with Lexington Law which would cost me almost $60 a month.

If I could afford that I don't think I would need a loan. I was only asking for a $500 loan anyway I didn't need $1000 when I declined the service the representative then told me I would never get my small business off the ground and I was being stupid by not accepting and hung up on me. A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and saddening experience.

Same exact experience as Total Scam below! On the phone for an hour talking to law firm and they wanted me to make a 14.99 payment with a credit card that I had told him did not have the money in the bank, he told me to try that it might go through. I asked him if he was going to pay the 35.00 charge and he laughed. One loan place told me that I was approved for the $1000 dollars and they would send me the paperwork and all they did was send other companies to apply for. Don't waste your time!

Total Scam
June 15, 2018

You apply for a loan told you are approved and then you are directed to Lexington Law who take all this information and tell you that you will be contacted by the loan company after you agree to them running a credit report for 14.99 through Credit Advantage, and tell you that you will be billed $109.20 a month for them to repair your credit!

Do not go through these people they are total scams, and when you contact One Loan Place the number takes you right back to Lexington Law (who state that they have nothing to do with the One Loan Place nor do they work with them, so my question was then why am I directed to Lexington Law.

I cancelled with them and contacted the credit advantage company to get my refund on my credit report. Again Please don't be scammed!

They tried it
January 13, 2018
They tried the old we have loans approved for you but you have to get this credit repair service to get the loans sent to you trick...I got fooled before so I called him on it like I don’t care about a high interest loan if I’m approved I’ll take it...y’all just tryna sell me this useless service only to deny me after the fact like the last people. After a bit of back and forth he hung up on me when it was clear to him I wasn’t falling for it.

ArianneMingus September 10, 2018

Are you a scammer
November 24, 2017

Are you a scammer? First of all I am a senior and you are praying on me. Second of all I am in a state that doe not accept payday loans, it is against the sate law. I am from New Jersey, look it up. Third of all I am retired and it know way you will get paid back because you cannot collect funds from pensions and social security.

And finally I did apply for you to refer me to a lender. How did you get my email and private telephone number. It seems like people like you don't check out the person first. That is why I hate people like you that try and take advance of people like me that is a senior. You need to stop it.

ArianneMingus September 11, 2018

Hello Luvator,

I hope this message finds you well. I just wanted to apologize that you may have been contacted by mistake. We only call numbers which have been previously submitted on a loan inquiry form. Sometimes these numbers are transcribed incorrectly by the person seeking a loan and we end up in contact with the wrong person. Our company respects and admires senior citizens as a valuable part of our society. We hope you will accept our apology for the contact and consider the mistake an accident. Thank you for taking the time to share feedback, we value every experience. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at the telephone number below or at [email protected], if you would like to discuss the matter further.

Scam
November 14, 2017

Scam. I applied for a $1000 loan. One Loan called me and said I was approved but needed to sign up first with Lexington Law. I signed up with them which cost me $59.95.

I then called One Loan and they turned down my loan request. End result; I needed this loan to survive. I had X number of dollars in my bank account. Now I have $59.95 less than I had yesterday and no loan.

Total scam. Only Lexington Law made out.

ArianneMingus September 11, 2018

Bad Business
October 18, 2017

Made me sign up for Lexington law firm credit repair and didn't even get any approval for a loan.

Such a scam
September 7, 2017
This was a waste of time. They pulled the bait and switch. Transfer you to a credit repair place that you need to pay for. They tell you good news they can get you help to get your loan but really it's that they can get you to a credit repair company that will help you raise your score to get a loan. The line I was given was you can get the money you need in 24 to 72 hours. Yeah no, that's a crock. Don't water your time here!

Gullible One

Very simple online process.

Once called the CSR was very nice

very re-assuring. She placed me on 2 brief holds.

The guy that got on the phone then, even after I

told them I had a copy of my credit report in front of me,

and was willing to discuss any and all items.

"do you want to repair your credit"

"I want to show you how to repair your credit"

"why do you want to repair your credit"

When I explained I had already starting addressing

the issues on my credit report. He hung up on me.

SCAMMERS are everywhere.

Helped me get a loan

The previous reviews may be from people that weren't able to get loans or something.. I don't know.. but they were very helpful to me. They asked me some questions.. took maybe 5 minutes? Then they sent me an option that worked first try....

TOTAL SCAM!!!!
January 14, 2017

I am sorry I didn't read these reviews first! They send you to a law group to set you up for a fee to help with your credit and indicate once you do that they will come back and get you a loan with a lender.

They do not get back to you, when you call, they tell you they have emailed you your loan options, which they did not (I have 2 email addresses that work fine with other emails coming in). There is no intention to provide you with a loan...it's just to get you to this law/credit group and have you pay money for their service. Talk about preying on people in need!!!!

I immediately cancelled my agreement with the law/credit group when I realized I'd been scammed. DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GROUP and check the internet before you do anything!!!

You Can Do Better
February 7, 2015

This services is garbage. After spending approx. 20mins on the phone with a "senior" loan agent Latasha J.***, or whatever they call themselves, it was all a ploy to have you pay for their services.

They say its free to match you with a lender however no matter what your credit score is, they want to have all 3 credit scores from all 3 credit agencies. So they want you to sign up with one of their affiliates to get the scores for "free'". However, the scores are not free, you have to give a credit card to get the scores and after 10 days if you don't cancel the service they will bill your card.

After I said I was not interested in this service, Latasha says that they have credit repair specialists that can help remove negative items from your report that are bringing your score down. She said it will cost $12.00 just for them to pull all 3 reports, then any work that they do perform, to remove any negative items from your reports, their fees will be deducted from the loan that you would get approved for.

After I told Latasha I was not interested in this service either, she got upset and became rude and belligerent. She told me that "I would have better luck getting my money from God", then rudely hung up in my face. I have never come across such terrible and rude customer service in my life. It was deplorable.

I caution all of you who are considering using their services. The service is not "free" as they claim and no matter what your credit score is they will want you to pay for their credit repair services.

This truthfully is the only thing their service is about, I encourage you to try the other lender matching services that are out there and just leave this trash alone.
