it could be good for some people if they are willing to put a lot of time in it. i had very bad experiences with companies i bought from and when i tried to cancel it was next to impossible to cancel. they kept charging my credit card every month i was calling my credit card card for many months to dispute their charges. it has been a nightmare. i made a total of $50.00 the first two days, but it has taken at least four months to get these companies off my back, dozens of calls to cancel over and over ( most of those companies do not answer the phone), and dozens of calls to my credit card company disputing these charges that don't seem to stop. if you have the time to fight the companies that will keep charging your credit card and the time to dispute these charges with your credit card, this could be a good little business. like i said before, to me it was a nightmare. |

Project Payday rocks!!!
I'm a new Project Payday member and I just went green today and earned me $50.
It does take work and time. And you will definitely NOT get rich with Project Payday. But it is a great concept to make some extra pocket money.
I'm very excited and cant wait to make more money in the future as a freebie trader.
I wish any current and future Project Payday member much success and prosperity in 2009 and beyond. : ) |

I have made some decent money to pay small bills or buy a few groceries, but it is not something you want to DEPEND on. If you need gas money, then this is good. But it is a lot of work charting everything if you're just beginning. Then you have to be careful because some offers will not give the credit, so you have to take a chance on doing another offer, and thats what this is a big chance. But all those that I traded with paid me right away with no problem and those are the ones that i trade with often. There are dishonest people on the site only thinking about themselves and making money, then you have those that will take time out to really walk you through the work and they are helping you because they want you to make money, and not to profit. OVERALL, BE CAREFUL, and if it does not feel right avoid it and move on. My advice is find someone that is WILLING to train and walk you through the process and you're good. Project payday is not a scam, but you have scammers using the site, so just be careful and have fun, you can make some money and for the record I actually made about 300.00 in the first month:) |

I joined Project Payday when it was offered to me free of charge and initially thought it was a cool way to make maybe an extra 2 or 3 hundred extra dollars a month. Well it takes a lot of work and as others have mentioned you have to keep track of the offers you have signed up for and cancellation dates and the fine print on some offers. Unfortunately, I was a victim of one of the dishonest sights or traders or whatever and was never paid for a trade that I did so it kind of discouraged me for a while. I haven't done another trade since and while I did actually make a couple of real trades and was paid for them promptly, I'm wary now of dealing with another dishonest person because I can't afford to lose ANY money. If you have lots of down time to commit to the program it would probably work for you but BEWARE of dishonest traders. |

So far everything is going great. Since I am working this several hours a day as a business, can I treat it as a business and take tax deductions for my expenses? |

The site is legit you can earn cash, but be careful of some scammers in the forum and some rip-off sites other users offer. |

I joined when they were doing a join for free promotion. I just had to do one of the offers, and conveniently I needed a new coffee maker anyway, so I chose the Gevalia offer. I have made $80 and spent $35, so I am still profiting. I recommend doing fastfirstfifty and net income solutions, both of which are linked to once you join project payday. |

Thanks to these comments, I will be signing up shortly. I'm a stay-at-home mom and my husband is overseas...I have plenty of extra time when my daughter is playing or down for a nap that I could use to bring in some more money for the family...even if it's only $40/day, that's better than nothing! Thanks to everyone who has commented; it's made my decision easier. |

all i can say is that it is a legit biz, but you need a lot of time to really profit and all in all it comes out to be about a 10 dollar an hour job by the time it is all said and done. ok for teens, etc but not for people in need of a simple formula to make money on a small budget. |

So first off I would like to say that this is a legit way to make extra cash. I am a internet marketing junkie. I have done everything under the sun and then some. I was even an Avon "man" lol. I am now 21 and have made some money through affiliate programs ect. But this one is by far the most legit out there. Everything everyone said about those "downfalls" are true. But you must realize that these aren't downfalls at all these are the things that make this so close to what "owning" a business feels like. Yes you have to keep a lot of book work. You have to be highly organized, you have to read all the terms and conditions of each trial you will do, and yes you will have to dish a bit of cash to make more money. This is what work is people!!!!!!!!! You don't want a get rich quick huh? Well you better be willing to work for your bankroll. One thing that I noticed people didn't talk about is being highly involved in the "free lunch community" . You need to do all of these things if you want to succeed. Tips: Read up on everything first read all the training guides...I mean everything!!!!!!! Contact a member and talk to them I.E. a mentor. Read the FAQs, and make an Excel Spreadsheet or a log book to keep organized on the trial you did, the ending date, so you can cancel and other info! This is so so important. Anyways, All in all this is a legit way to make a quick few bucks or a good amount. You get what you put into it!! Just like everything in life!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! |

I've been looking for 'make-money-online' programs for years. This is the one and only program that I know of to be free to join, inexpensive to start and guaranteed to make you money once you learn the system. I am just getting started with FreeLunchRoom.com and already I see the potential to make anywhere from a supplemental income to a decent full time paycheck. I am even considering quitting my job, depending on my profit margins for this month and next.
You DO have to be well organized and you DO have to treat it almost like a clerical job, and to make money you DO have to be self-motivated and diligent. I have spoken with several people personally (ProjectPayday mentors) who work the program full time and make six digits a year in profit. Hey, I figure that the tediousness and organization is worth being my own boss and setting my own hours any day. |

I signed up for Project Payday and found it to be a way to make some money, but you will NOT get rich and I do find it hard to believe that people are making hundreds each day. You have to be very organized - and keep very accurate dates for cancellations, and READ THE FINE PRINT on each
trial. What you think is only $1.95 can be $27.00 by the time you add the shipping, handling, and whatever else they can zing you for. Also, if your cancel date is March 3rd. You need to call and cancel on March 1st. Many require a PREcancel
2 day notice..again..Read the TERMS and CONDITIONS. |

Is there anyone out there that can actually give me a rundown of what project payday is and a briefing on what the job would be? Thanks for anyone's reply. |

I, myself, have joined the Project Payday program. I was looking at the comment from Ryan from Pennsylvania and I know what you mean. I was informed by the support at Project Payday to, obviously, learn the program first and how it works before I jump in. I consider myself a very organized person and to cancel the programs would not be a problem for me. Just like another member said, you have to treat it like a business and having a business requires organizational skills and knowing deadlines, etc. Having to cancel a membership on things would just be considered a form of a deadline, obviously. I am going to check it out. I'm not looking to get rich quick and I don't believe there is really anything out there anyway that you can do that with. At least not that I've found yet. Many other programs I'm tried I felt I had to be a brain surgeon to figure it out. With this program I'm looking to create some extra income and possibly even do it full time. I don't need thousands of dollars a month to quite my full time job. I only make $1300 a month off my 40 hour a week job now. If I could make $2000 a month doing this that would be $700 more than what I'm making now. If one worked this full time, even the small S&H fees you paid on offers you could easily clear $2000 anyway. Well, enough said. I have enjoyed all the other comments and feel better about my decision. I will try the program, learn all there is to learn before I start, and get with a mentor as support at Project Payday suggests and take it day by day.
Thank you for everyone's information. |

I have tried Project Payday and it is not a scam. You can make some money with this program, but you must be well organized and write everything down. You MUST remember to cancel your trial offers that you don't want or you can lose money quickly. You will also be using your credit card frequently on most offers. This can be a problem because you have to keep track constantly of who has your cc. I recently had a fraudulent charge on my cc of 2,945.00. This is one factor to be concerned with. The key is to keep excellent records of every offer and trade. I thought I did, and this happened. The biggest downfall in my opinion to this system is that you can't make much money, and the work is very tedious. If you just want to pay a couple of bills, this is the way to go. Sure, there are probably people that go full speed with this and may make 2,500. a month after working at least 30-40 hours a week. This to me is not worth it. I really don't think anyone can make a living doing this. Like they said, you certainly will never get rich, and in my opinion you won't be able to make a living either. Good luck! |

I'm in the midst of educating myself on how Project Payday works and I stumbled upon this page while checking to see if it might be a scam. If the reviews on this page are real then I suppose it could actually be legitimate. There are so many scams out there it's only natural that I'm skeptical before starting. I guess the only way to find out for sure is to give it a try myself... |

By far the best work at home business ever. Its real and they have a great selection of training video for newbies. All I know is I made over$250.00 the first week. Its a low start up cost for those that don't have the money to invest. I started with $20.00 bucks.
Its for real people. The free lunch room sites is an excellent. There is money to be made there. Try it for your self free to join too. Yes there is some free offers to. You have to ready to spend time to look for offers to sign up for and be very organized and keep records of the date started and the dates the trail end. I'm serious easy money. last thing set another email account if you want to do this. You'll be thanking me later. Be smart theres easy money to be made |

I did this project payday, and you can mke a couple of bucks on it, but you have to pay all the shipping on these offers you take, then you have to remember to cancel the offers in the 30 days, or 14 days. If you don't your credit card will be charged full price at the end of your trial period. Then you have to call all the companys you took the offers from and get a RMA number, put that on the box and send them back. You pay for the shipping to return it too. In 2 weeks I made about $180 and by the time I paid shipping both ways and my phone bill, I might have made 35 bucks.... |

It took me a month to complete however as i took my time. I was just busy and just learning the site and it took a while to get credited for offers. |

Thanks to you I went to Project Payday yesterday. I have already made $150. I have spent $35, but that is still $115 for less than an hours work! What I pay out is much less than I would pay for gas, lunch and clothes if I were to take a part-time job outside the home. I will also be available for my children. Once I move to the next step, I can see my profits increasing. It is also an enjoyable bunch of people to deal with!
Thank you! |

I'm well familiar with the program, and have done a few deals with some of the sites they recommend to join in on. Yes you do make money. This is not a get rich quick scheme by any stretch of the imagination. You do in fact have to work the program.
If there is any really any down side to "Project Payday" that I would say, here it is:
* The surveys you undertake in order to get paid, you have to keep records to ensure that you won't be billed a membership charge after the free trial offer expires. If you don't carefully read the rules and agreements prior to signing up, you're sure to be billed on your account.
* The cost factor is another damper. Each survey requires you pay something out, regardless if it's the shipping and handling or something else minimal. This builds up over time, and can damper your account before you get any type of compensation back.
* The individual needs to understand this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. You will need to put out pocket money for each survey and they need to keep records of what they do sign up for and to cancel each service free trail before it expires, otherwise, you'll get charged for something you probably had no intentions of using in the first place.
Would I recommend this to any one else. Good question. If they have no monies and they're flat broke, no, I wouldn't. As I said earlier, you'll need some money laying around your account to cover for s/h charges, and other fees they would ask of you to pay.
I would suggest to others to do their due diligence to make sure this is what they would really want to do. "Project Payday" does offer a training, tutorial site, that once you sign up with them is very helpful. I would go that route. They once offered a "free to join" membership as long as you did a survey for one of the merchants who would pick up the $35.00 tab which they would normally charge, but I'm not sure if they still offer that.
Hope this helps.

I like the program, Method 2 is the way to go.
If you are going to get paid for filling out offers you have to write down what offers you did along with the ph# or email site to cancel and how many days before the trial is over. This is not hard if you treat it like a business.
The best advice I got was look at the offers first, then google them and read through the terms and conditions, then go back and complete the offers you liked. Hey companies pay to get refferals, they expect a large number of people will cancel, but they still make millions of dollars don't feel bad for them.... |

As you said it can be a great way to make money, but the down side is you need to make sure you cancel, I tried this and for me it was hard to remember what I did and did not cancelle and how long for each one. I ended up having to pay for one of the things I did not want because when I cancelled it did not take effect imediatly and the 40 that I made ended up going for the product.
Best of luck to those who are going for it. |
