Rebate Processing

The Truth About Rebate Processing Jobs...

Rebate Processing jobs are the latest work from home opportunities hitting the net.  Before you came to my website you probably saw ads on Google, Yahoo, MSN like this:

  • Rebate Processing At Home. Make Up To $250+ Per Day - 100% Money Back Guarantee - Join Today!
  • At Home Rebate Processing. It's This Simple 20 Rebates a Day = $109,500 a Year! 100% Guarantee.
  • Process Rebates From Home. Earn $15 on each rebate processed! Start earning today.

These types of ads have been plastered all over the internet to lure people into joining online rebate processing programs.  I personally even get advertisements like this from spam emails in my inbox.

Rebate processing jobs are so effectively advertised that many people gladly pay the upfront costs believing that they will recoup that money within days of working. Others would probably pay even more for the opportunity since it actually seems like a really great way to make money from home.

So What's the Deal, Are 'Rebate Processing Jobs' Legit?

In a word? No!   I haven't found a 'single rebate processing job' that's legitimate.  In fact there is no such thing as a rebate processing jobs!  That's right, no such thing.  Someone simply made it up and started charging $197 for it.

What you see advertised online are internet marketing opportunities cleverly disguised as rebate processing jobs.  They make you pay for a system that tells you to become an affiliate for a variety of info products and offer part of your sales commissions as the rebate.

    Let Me Explain...

The way that it works is that you're simply told to go sell products by offering a discount on the price of the product, which she calls a rebate.

So let's say you start promoting an ebook online that costs $40 and pays 50% commission.  You'll offer a rebate of $5 on the book.  When someone buys the book you'll earn 50% of $40, or $20, and after you pay your customer the $5 rebate you're left with a profit of $15.

This is how  you'll be able to 'earn $15 per rebate processed!'  Although this method is not exactly as advertised it may still sound pretty easy to do right?  Wrong!

The only way for you to get people to notice your rebate offer will be to advertise it on the major search engines like Google and Yahoo.  This will cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars every single month, and unless you're and experienced marketer you're likely not to make enough sales to turn a profit.

So basically, you're not paying for a Rebate Processing Jobs but for a sales strategy that can be applied to affiliate marketing.  It is possible to make money with this method but it requires money to invest as you will be paying close to one dollar every time somebody clicks on your advertisement.  Within one day this can quickly add up to you spending $40 - $60 if you don't know what you're doing.

Note: If you came to this website because you're looking for a way to make money online then I suggest you take a look at my top recommendations. These are the best methods I've found that anyone can use to make money online, Click Here.

Unfortunately I too signed up this "Angel's" program. I was willing to pay for someone to train me and connect me with the companies to do rebate processing; however, when I got the 1st training module red flags went up. To begin with why would rebate processing need sales info and motivational guidance and in several areas where she is giving background info about "herself" the "story" is about a man! Also, the grammar in these training modules would make an elementary grammar teacher scream. Then I get a phone call and e-mail from 2 different people wanting to help me achieve my goals - the phone call only wants me to invest in more money to sale on line - I don't want to do sales. And the "e-mail advisor" never responded to my questions about simply doing "rebate processing". Wish I would known about this web site before; however, this was a very poweful lesson. Here's hoping I get my guaranteed - no risk - money back!!!

    9:49am on Friday, July 11th, 2008

This Tyger was taken too by Angela's $197 scam after I lost my job in April. They even attempted to scam me again for thousands more with a Tax Club out of New York where they would handle my bookeeping and other items for the IRS. If she was a MD, she should have employed someone who could write phrases correctly. So the lesson learned is to do your research before investing into things that seem too good to be true. I still see her ads coming into my e-mail as the beige lilac.

I am so glad I read this. I was about to scrape my $197 together and go for it. I was laid off in March and received an e-mail and am just getting my $200 scraped together and was looking for the e-mail when I did a search on the web and found this web-site. I also must admit that a friend of mine that I was going to borrow the money from told me he thought it was a "scam" and I blew him off. I'm glad I didn't borrow his $200. I was going to pay him off with the first $200 I made doing rebate processing. All I can say is I am glad the good Lord is looking over me and I didn't go for it. I am a single mother. I found another job, but was still looking for a way to make additional income. Still dealing with trying to get child support from the deadbeat dad and I am also a student, but I work too hard to just give my hard earned money or "borrowed" money away. Thanks for your site.

I, like most of the other people started to buy the Angel Stevens offer of Rebate Processing. I started searching just before I put a credit card number in and found this site.
You have save me $197.00 and a lot of worry because we are getting ready to leave on vacation.
I do wish somebody would really tell me about a good internet job.
    Thank you,

Over the course of the past 2 or 3 months, I've been receiving online offers for Angela Stevens Home Rebate Processing. I thought that it was too good to be true and that usually raises a red flag for me. I was on that site and was ready to sign up then decided to exit but, before I left, an online chat advisor came on and was still trying to talk me into joining. I even asked if it was a scam and of course they replied "NO". I've seen Angela Stevens advertised for other money making gimics. This also raised a red flag. I researched other scam sites and came here, glad I did because that $197 sticks out like a sore thumb. Thanks guys, for saving me money & a bunch of heartache at home. Sorry to here about those of you that were taken advantage of but, your experiences are helping others. Thanks.

Thanks for your site. I just received an email from Angel Stevens on her Affiliate Rebate Processing program. Although I wasn't too tempted to send in my $$$, I was curious about this work-at-home program I hadn't yet heard about. So I started researching on the net. Appreciate the fact that you did the research for us so we could save our time and save many others from spending money they can't afford to loose. Keep up the good work.

I was almost another sucker too. I nearly fell for the rebate processing scam promoted by Angel Stevens and the $197 fee that comes along with it. I couldn't find any information about her on SNOPES so I thought her offer was legit. Something didn't feel quite right though and I did some more surfing and came across your site (and two others)that warned of such scams. All I really want to do is work from home so that I can continue to stay home with my kids! Are there any work at home jobs that actually work that are low cost and lucrative?HELP!

I paid Angel Stevens $ 197.00 After applying
    for Angela Penbrook's program For $ 197.00
that never finished & failed to come into fruition. I immediately requested my money and got it. I then paid for Angel's program went through 7 weeks of Certification training & found out that there are no rebate processing Co's on line. You have to be located where their operations are located.
ANGEL HAS NEVER RETURNED MY MONEY AFTER WEEKS OF TRYING I AM TURNING HER OVER TO THE ATTY GENERAL, CA, AND THE FAIR TRADE COMM FOR FALSE ADVERTISING.

SHE IS STILL SELLING HER CRAP & I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I AM THAT NAIVE.

I too fell for the scam two days ago. I did do a little bit of research and found sites that promoted Angela's program. So I was excited and spent my $197. As soon as the info was emailed to me I began reading it over. I soon realized that the program was not at all what it promised to be. Within 12 hours I was emailing a request for my refund. I received a return email promising a refund.... I called 1-800-381-7820 where I spoke to a representative who also promised a refund within 3-5 days. The charge has not appeared on my credit card yet so hopefully I will be safe.... I truely wish I had found your website first!!!!! Don't anybody else fall for this SCAM!!

Hello, Well I ended up being scammed for $197 US on my credit card. By the time Red Flags went up for me it was too late. I now have to wait 30 days for my credit card company to be able to fight to get my money back. At the end of closing day I left a message for my lawyer. I went one better as I had Kept the contact emails from Angel and her co-horts letting them know that they are frauds. Now that my anger has cooled, that might not have been so wise cuz they could dis-appear into thin air. But I have No doubt at some point they will re-surface with a new face to their scam game. I'm a Good person who struggles from pay to pay and just wanted to better things for me & my husband. Why is it that the chitty people in life Reap all the rewards and out live the Good??!!??

I received an eMAIL from one of the "Rebate Processing" scammers. Since it didn't appear as an MLMPyramid program, I wasted my time reading up to the $500 reduced to $197. Although I was impressed by the idea(I don't confuse people with big words like PREMISE), The thought of charging me for this instead of collecting a fee from the "rebate payer company" immediately turned me off and I decided to investigate. Googleing "Rebate Processor" got me here after visiting a similar site exposing this scam but also promoting other Rebate Processing programs.

I get "tons" of scams in my email and I used to report them. However I have never received even one "thank you", so I gave it up. It seems as if companies like Yahoo, Northfork Bank, Paypal, Craigslist, etc. don't much care if their identity
    is used by scammers.

One scammer offered me a short term trial for $3.98 and in addition to credit cards, acceped Paypal. Since I only had $7 in my Paypal account, I decided to try it. First I went to Paypal and removed my credit card option. I got a notice from the scammer for my credit card info because Paypal refused payment, so I knew he tried for probably much more than $7.00! These crooks never give up, even when they know you're onto them! I wish I knew a way to "screw" them on the internet, but I don't know of anything that's legal. Also, if you do "outscam" them, you might suffer physical harm or worse! You are better off if they never know who you are.

I signed up for the rebate processing at the end of January. Early on in the 7 week course, you are given numerous marketing techniques that can be used online but you do need to have money to get started. Supposedly at the end of the course, you will be given the rebate processing information to input. As of today, I am still waiting for the information. Accordingly to a rep that works for Angel Stevens, they can not locate in the database. I need to supply them with a copy of my receipt, which I faxed. I am extremely disappointed!!! I wish I had read this prior to signing up for her course.

I received the email from Angela little over a week ago. My neice and I are both single mothers who have to work hard at our jobs as well as getting child support from our deadbeat exs. She told me she would split the cost with me. I didn't have time right then to check things out but told her I would and let her know. My email said I would be processing for Home Depot. I emailed Home Depot Corp Offices. They didn't know what I was talking about. That was unfortunate because both she and I could really use the extra money just to stay afloat. Today, I got another email from Angel. Thought I would read this add to see what it said. Add was 98% identical. Instead of being child's birthday, it was Christmas. Instead of being in line at a bank, she was in a doctor's office. Tonight, I find this site. I feel goo knowing I trusted my gut and emailed Home Depot before I sent in my niece and my $197.

I couldn't find it any where on the Net. That's when the red flag popped up in my brain. I try, and, live by the rule, "If it sounds to good to be true, it isn't" Thank God I had the smarts to chehc it out. For everyone like me, thate are hundreds who are so ready to jump into scams like this. Something should be done about it. These people should be hit with some stiff fines and yanked off the Net.

Home Rebate Processor Certification?? It’s a shame so many people in this country who really need work from home and are willing too work and yet so many people out there using their sadness as a profit to themselves.
I was looking for work from home. After having my baby I was disabled and haven’t been able to get any work. No income at all either, which makes it even harder. What’s even more sadder is that I’d be happy to take a home work type of job – type from home, do medical billing from home, answer calls from home and not care even if I don’t have or get healthcare, as long as I had a paycheck to feed my baby I’d be fine. I’d be happy making 200. A week to type or bill from home and these people know that there are many out there like myself and feed off of robbery of emptying out their last few days and empty hope.

This program is not really considered a scam, but is indeed very misleading. Its mostly about sales and the rebates only come in if the products you decided to market sold and you advertised a rebate. If you are great sales person and have more than 197.00 dollars to spend, you are in the right place. You would have to advertise in the popular search engines like google, yahoo and msn and these are not free.I did pay the fee and read the first module and 2 hours later called for a refund.I should have it back in my account with 2-3 business days, but i am not expecting it without a fight. The number i called and got through is 1-800-381-7820. Best of luck to anyone who has paid the fee.

Don't let your fellow man get in this situation. I am going to report to career builder right now so they will remove this ad....this is ridiculous and is anyone ever prosecuted? Why can't we come us with a system to remove this scums permanently..The other is from UK or another foreign country wanting you to be a collection agent and send them money, before you find out their checks or money orders are Fraud! Don't do this either....never send money..BUT ALWAYS report...get them shut down. Call or email each other start a group, Money and time is scarce...Blog.blog blog anything to help.

I was FOOLED. I had signed up with Angela Penbrook's Processing Rebates and come to find out it's a FAKE. I received a call from a Success Advisor and he had given me a contact # to call but it was disconnected.

I have been looking for an online job, and the rebate processing came up. This lady wants me to pay 197.00 for the information, and says I can make 15.00 each time I process. I want to know if this is a scam before I spend that kind of money. I'm unemployed do to arthritis, and I need a home job that's real.

    Thank you for your time.

Thank God that websites like this are out here to inform the public. I am a disabled Vet and have had trouble finding work that I could physically do. I have been looking into Home Internet Businesses for that reason. I was just about to spend the $197 that I don't have to spare in the first place. What kills me about these scams is that they are praying on people's HOPE in a better tomorrow by utilizing unscrupulous marketing tactics. Thank you again. BUYER BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Hate to admit it, but I too fell for this 'promising work at home opportunity.' I called 2 of their customer service numbers that I have seen in other's comments and in my email. The first is 1-866-885-8126. The other, which I had luck with getting through to someone, is
1-800-785-8042. I was told I would receive an email in '36 hours' confirming that I will receive a refund. Well, haven't received any email 72+ hours later. I was told the refund will show up in my bank account within 5-7 business days. If not, I have informed them that I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and will pursue any further necessary action until I receive my refund, which is supposedly guaranteed if requested within the first 3 months of trying the program. We shall see...

As I said before and I'll say it again! Stay away from these NetScums. There is no "Angela" For all we know this could be "Jack The Ripper" or "Jane The Stripper!" Trust me, this character is trying to use the old "sob" story of being down and out to get people sucked into this scam!

I just received an email from Angels today and must say a very well presented website. I sent the email back stating that was a large amount to put into a business that may or may not work. Haven't received anything back yet. Don't be fooled by this money back thing I've tried to get my money back from two companies and have yet received it. Really Sad! 12years on the net and have found two companies that did what the said they would.

I was just about to be another one scammed by the rebate offer from Angela! My husband told me that it was too good to be true, and it was. We have a consumer guy in Atlanta by the name of Clark Howard, my husband suggested I contact him, I haven't yet and don't think I will need to now. I am so glad I found your site and read all the comments, THANKS A BUNCH. How easily we can be scammed and they know it. Good luck to everyone in your adventure to find financial success.

Great web site. Just what I was looking for, comments from real people who tried this and found out what it is really like. I will admit, her advertising is effective. Sucks people right in there! Thank goodness not me, because as a single mom struggling to make ends meet, I surely don't need to lose $197 on a scam. It's back to selling stuff on eBay for me. It might be long hours and lots of work, but at least it's legit.

I purchased a rebate processing progam from Angela for $197. It didn't tell me anything about how to process rebates. It only had info about affiliate marketing and some bonus programs that you could sell on ebay or your own website. It offered a 3 month money back guarantee but I can't seem to find a way to get my money back for this fake program. I tried the affiliate marketing program through clickbank but still haven't gotting any profit from it. I tried advertising with free classified ads sites but it's hard to get people to actually look at your product and buy it. I made a blog on a free website like xanga and wrote some details on it and put up a list of the affiliate websites on it then posted my website on the classified ads. I just haven't had any luck yet. I just wish that the rebate processing jobs program was real so I could make some extra money. You can't trust those rebate processing scams. It will get you like it got me.

I am sorry for those of you that lost your money but keep trying to get it back. People, always - always - always check before you fork out your money. The BBB is a great place to start and I googled rebate processing and stumbled upon these comments. I THANK GOD I DID! The only address and fax number I could find was for this clickbank you have sign up with to get paid. I did not give them my social security number as requested, I did not know who they were. Click Sales, Inc, 917 S. Lusk Street, Ste.200, Boise, ID 863706 - If there is such a place. FAX 1-208-342-3934, try that.

I saw an ad on Careerbuilder website and trusted it and to find out anything about the job you had to sign up and put it on a credit card, then the website took you to other things other than the Rebate Processor, I had to print out how to do it and it said no sales, but you had to use a hoplink, which I did not know how to do, and tried, and also you had to post this ad for people to find it. I thought you were given companies to do the rebates for, I asked for a refund.

I wouldn't go so far as to label Ms. Penbrook's program as a scam but yes it is somewhat misleading as advertised. In fact, I joined up to see how good (or bad) her pitch would pan out. In the first module, I found the on line sales work dominated and composed the real premise of one's success. I hate sales so I stopped immediately and requested a refund. I'm happy to report full compensation. However, I can see that (for some people) real money can be made if one has the ambition to work at this.
So do your homework first, you'll probably join up with this (or her) program if you like sales.
