SurveySpot Review

SurveySpot is an online market research company that offers participants cash and sweepstake entry rewards for completing opinion surveys.  Currently, the opportunity is available to folks eighteen and over living in the US, Canada, or the UK.

SurveySpot pays out between $2 to $10 per completed survey, and since 2001 they've reported paying out over twelve million dollars in cash and prizes to their members.  The panel itself is relatively simple to use, and once you create your account you will begin to receive surveys by email.

The good thing about SurveySpot is that the emails they send out include critical information about each survey.  For instance they will let you know the subject matter, estimated time of completion, and the reward format.

That last aspect is very important, since SurveySpot pays out in cash and in Instant Win Game tokens.  This allows members that only want to do for cash surveys to skip prize paying studies. However, sometimes it's worth completing a non-cash survey because there's a chance for a follow up cash offer.

One thing that SurveySpot members appreciate is that in most cases when they don't qualify for a survey they still get a sweepstakes entry or Instant Win Game token simply for trying.  This is a nice touch since this happens to almost everyone at least once.

SurveySpot pays out its members via check but you can only request one if you have at least $5 in your account.  There are some time delays and it can take up to six weeks for a cash reward payment to be deposited into your SurveySpot account and another 2 to 4 weeks for your check to arrive.

When I first joined in 07 I got a lot of $3 surveys and made $40 within a few months. Since then, however, it has stalled significantly. Sometimes when I log into the site it logs me out accidentally and I can't access any surveys. I haven't been paid for a survey in a year or so. I'm disappointed as this was one of my favorite paid-to sites.

I have been a member for about 2 years now. At first the survey offers were good and paying, but the number of paid ones dwindled as time went on. So many times I have completed more than the time stated on a paid survey only to be told at the end that I did not qualify. Hmm... On a few occasions my complaint was handled to my satisfaction. Now I only receive survey invitations that offer only a chance to win at a scratch game or a slot machine game... and take 20 minutes. I have never won any cash from these, although I have won thousands of "entries" for cash contests. The only positive note is that when cash awards are accumulated above the $5 mimimum payout threshold, they are paid in a timely fashion after they are requested. As for making significant amounts of money from SurveySpot, the results were far below those stated, even in the best of times.

I've been a member for about a year now. It is difficult to qualify for surveys and just a few are cash paying surveys out of all the ones you receive. But in the past year I've earned and received $85 from them. Every little bit adds up. It pays better than some other survey companies.

I have been doing these surveys for a while now, and have a mixed review. The main problem with most of these survey sites is the fact they pay you much lower than the equivalent of minimum wage. Most of the surveys I have received from survey spot only enter you into a drawing and don't pay anything, almost all others pay you a dollar or two for a 15 - 20 min survey, which when you do the math comes out to 3-8 dollars per hour - hardly worth it. Most of the surveys I have taken go almost to the end of the survey only to tell me that I don't qualify - how convenient, after they have already gotten their answers, they then don't have to pay me. I have however, received a couple legitimate ones where I have earned 5 dollars for fifteen minutes, however, even then the money isn't put into my account for 4-6 weeks. If you are really interested in doing these surveys, find a legitimate company where you have to go to a physical location, I have done those as well and they end up paying at least 40 dollars per hour.

I received plenty of surveys everyday, upwards to twenty. Out of those twenty, perhaps one was an actual paying survey. Invariably, the one survey that paid was the one which would generate an error when I would attempt to submit it upon completion. I repeatedly contacted them with all pertinent info regarding the particular survey and was completely and totally ignored each and every time. No help, no assistance and no support what so ever. It would seem that as far as replying to questions or comments they are incapable, but they certainly have no problem filling an in box with invitations to take their surveys.

I have been a member of Survey Spot for a few months now. I am trying to figure out how legit Survey Spot is. I am looking at the jackpot and scratch ticket each one says that you are a winner all the time, usually when something seems too good to be true, it usually isn't true. So I am not sure how much longer I participate in Survey Spot. I may be going to a different internet service soon, maybe I'll leave doing surveys alone when I change my internet service.

I've been doing their surveys since almost the first time they appeared on the web, but so far have never (to my recollection) ever received any payment for any of the 100's of surveys I've taken, nor have I ever won anything in their sweepstakes. Today, even though I received a couple of invitations to participate in their surveys, their website appears to be down. Are they still in business?

I have been a member for a couple of years, but I have started more seriously this past few months. I receive at least 3 to 4 surveys from them per day and once you are done with a survey, you also get a list directly from their website for more surveys. I have received 1 check already for 3 surveys and one sample review. I also qualified to participate in a forum with a cash reward for next week. What I like about their surveys is that they let you know how long the survey is going to take and if you will get paid for it. I have not won anything yet, but at least I have received a little cash. They are truly a paid survey company, unlike most of the other ones where you have to agree to purchase or sign up to offers in order to get something back.

I am constantly receiving surveys, some being for cash rewards and some being for just sweepstakes entries. My rewards for the cash surveys are very satisfyng and rewarding. I give them a thumbs up for paying out wha you make and in a very timely manner. Although, I have never won anything in their sweepstakes, yet, I have no doubt that my time is coming.

Survey Spot - I am new to this survey system. I have already received sample products to evaluate. The product was worth receiving much to my surprise. I can follow the steps easily when doing the surveys. I do get disappointed when I do a survey and the system doesn't accept the response since I invested time towards receiving credit/monetary counts. I receive plenty of offers to survey but, I have found that I do receive duplicate surveys. This annoys me...especially when I need to resign into my email account. This survey system warns you up front that you will not get rich on these. I primarily receive tokens.

Where Are The Surveys?...

I've been a member several times for several years and have not received one survey yet why?

I have been a member of Survey Spot for 10 years, however I have never won any sweepstakes and do wonder why after all this time and there are new members that they say have won their sweepstakes. I really don't know how but it just might be me (not being lucky and all). But as far as their survey's go. They are the best to take and you may not qualify for all of them or maybe none of them on any given day but they pay well and there is not a long waiting period for your check to arrive in the mail. I have taken survey's for other well know companies and have waited for months before I received my check in the mail. Survey Spot is the one company that I give a thumbs up. If you enjoy having your voice heard then one of the best sights is Survey Spot to join.

For me personally I only received one payment. I've received plenty of survey offers, however, qualifying for them has not always been an easy thing. I've been entered into sweepstakes drawings several times, but never won anything, or gotten a cash reward. Maybe it’s just me...
