Rosalind Gardner has made the fantastic claim that she has raked in almost half a million dollars per year through her work with affiliate programs.  Rosalind Gardner has created The Super Affiliate Handbook in an effort to teach people how to do the same.  The question is if real people can actually make that kind of money by following Rosalind Gardner's program.

Rosalind Gardner is a Canadian woman that has worked with many prominent names in the internet marketing field.  She was a student of Corey Rudl and has also teamed up with Jim Edwards to create the Affiliate Business Blue Print.

The biggest selling point that Rosalind Gardner has going for The Super Affiliate Handbook is that she has priced it relatively cheap.  The material that she offers is in e-book format and takes you through the steps of setting up an affiliate website.

Rosalind Gardner praises affiliate programs as the best way to make money on the internet, even though its clear that she now makes her money from selling her own program The Super Affiliate Handbook.  There are many benefits to working as an affiliate as apposed to selling your own product.

The upside of being an affiliate is that someone has already done most of the work for you.  Your only task is to drive semi interested traffic to your programs home site.  The downside to being an affiliate is pretty simple, you get paid 50% or less for each sale that you get.  Clearly it's better to be on the other side of the selling equation but still affiliate programs can make money.

The key to making money with affiliate programs is being able to generate heavy website traffic.  If you can't do that then its impossible to make money with affiliate programs.  I feel that Rosalind Gardner does not do a good job of conveying that message to her customers.

Rosalind Gardner has also designed The Super Affiliate Handbook to be for complete beginners.  Although this may be beneficial to some, I feel that she wastes a lot of pages taking about basic things like setting up your computer.

Rosalind Gardner has a tendency to throw out that half a million dollar figure as if it's the easiest thing to achieve.  When in reality working with affiliate programs is a full time commitment if you want to see real results, something that is not stressed enough in The Super Affiliate Handbook.
