Tom Vu is another one of these make money in real estate with no money down self proclaimed gurus. These guys tend to be one and the same and Tom Vu is no different. They all make their money from the infomercials they run and the programs the sell not the advice they preach.

Tom Vu was best known for his outlandish infomercials which had more semi naked women than useful information. Despite the limos and powerboats in Tom Vu's commercials his actual real estate course benefited none of his students. Even Tom Vu's one day seminars were a huge disappointment.

Tom Vu's strategy for buying no money down real estate is the same that all the other guys preach. Tom Vu recommends that you find distressed or foreclosed properties attempt to purchase them at no more than %50 market value, get the seller into a "whim and fancy" clause filled contract, and to top it all of offer $10 as your down payment.

Overall, Tom Vu's strategy and advice can not be realistically executed in the real world. Thankfully Tom Vu is no longer on TV and his terrible program and sleazy infomercials are fading away from our memories. However people are still uncovering Tom Vu materials and asking about it, so the answer to them is that Tom Vu materials are not recommended and ineffective.

I went to a Tommy Vu seminar quite a long time ago.That was the first seminar I went to and quickly became disappointed.It was nothing but a hyped up sales pitch to buy into a so called mentoring (or training)ahem.That training was available but you would have to come up with over ten grand for it.That was the 80s.Now that I found out that he has some website i can see he is still ripping people off.He is no different than Dave Del Dotto or Ed Beckley.

I disagree, I am one of Tom's old studentS, I have not only made a lot of money but I have met a lot of other people who did also. But lets be honest it's easier to just nock the guy, but not me, because I know Tom Vu's materials worked and I thank God I met Tom because he's one of the reasons I got into real estate. And thats the truth, believe it or not I don't care.

Tommy Vu is now doing ZenZuu.com Do you see this social networking site to be a scam? There are moderators on all day indicated they are members only and do this free, they even have a guy who claims to be a minister and is blind doing these calls daily, all for no money, there is a leader among this pack called joe risk who is at the forefront. everything is free, you submit your social security number or your biz i.d or if out of the country you i.d from that country. Seems innocent but reading the history of Tommy and this cast of characters, some of who seem to be caught up with this are decent people. Any input on this free social networking site....

what a rip off artist,went to his seminar over 18 yrs ago,got told alot of illegal things in california,his things would only work in fla.if you were stupid and unethical enough to use them,glad hes no longer ripping off people....
