dont do it, pay for books at barns n noble before joining trump. they said my 1495 would be worth investing because at the weekend workshop they were going to get me my first deal on the table. they lied. they also said i didn't need money down on property's they lied. when i got upset they asked me to leave so they could manipulate the victims they targeted in the program. i gladly left, unable to get a refund they lied about that too. |

Great 3 days of training. Highly recommend it. My wife and I didn't buy anything after the training but learned a ton during our initial training. |

Just had someone write me and call that said that they graduated from Trump University's 3 day course and was led to me by James Harris who said that I was a student there. Okay - that's not true. Then, he also said that when I came to him as a student I was almost broke and that the course made me successful. Wrong again! I have never been a student of his or the school I and never been broke.
That is slander and I would watch someone who makes up stuff to make their product look better. Hopefully the success of the school is not based on lies.
Whereas I am successful - #1 Real Estate Agent in Georgia, 6 years in a row, it was not because of Trump University or James Harris which I had no idea existed until it was brought to my attention.

I attended an event in New York and loved every minute. I knew going in I was going to have to work the system so I did my homework and came prepared to do some deal. I am still working the system and hope to close a deal in the next 2 weeks. If you go to an event don't expect them to hand you money but you can make money by working the system. |

I attended the introduction seminar only to find out that most of the examples were outdated and not legal in Maryland. BEWARE, I highly caution all other individuals to strongly reconsider dealing with the Trump Institute. |

I was told that after taking the first 3 day seminar, which cost $1,500 I could go out start making deals. What a bunch of BS.
The only thing they want you to do is sign up for the next seminar which can cost up to $35,000.
Of course these additional seminars were never mentioned when you sign up for the first one.
The instructor James Harris is a trickster, never giving you a direct answer to any of your questions.
Just about every other sentence that comes out of his mouth is about how rich he is. And by doing these courses you can be wealthy as he is.
I can go on and on,this is just a sample how they try to Scam you.
Please do your home work before you give them a cent, you'll save a lot of money.
I cant believe the BBB has not put a stop to this scam. |

What a SCAM I attended the three day seminar and really learned very, very little.
There goal is to talk you into joining the next seminar, which can cost up to 35,000.
They use almost Gestapo tactics to sign for this seminar.
James Harris who runs the course, keeps on telling you how rich he is, what a bore.
Any questions you ask are never answered.
I would love if a news show would do an in depth report on this rip off. |

The only one to blame for paying the $1,495 is myself and I am still aggravated that I paid somebody so much money simply to upsell an even more expensive program. While the information given seemed to be great news for people who have not been involved in real estate investing, everything I heard was outdated or not legal. The teach you to do Lease Options and assigning them with money out of your pocket. If they would read Chapter 475.43 of the Florida Real Estate Law, they would find out that the contracts they enter into are null and void and the seller has not to honor the options. Wanna see who gets sued if the buyer wants to exercise and get turned down. They teach you that the sheriff shows up on people door and they have 30 min. to get out if the house gets foreclosed on. No they don't. It is called "Writ of possession and does not work like this. I can go on like this and feel sorry for everybody who who joined their $35,000 Program. Have not seen anybody leaving a review that they actually closed deals. Not under contract but closed $$$! Feel free top respond to klaroste-trump@yahoo.com |

The amount of information shared at the Commercial Retreat was fantastic. The team proved to be extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions, and the instructor went to great lengths to make sure everyone in our class understood the material. What an incredible three days! |

I attended the 3 day seminar that I paid $1,495.The information is very valuable as a beginner in real estate, but, boy oh boy, James Harris is not just a good instructor, but also a PHENOMENAL salesman. Package and package of training classes, retreats ( just countless)are just designed to lure you to become a Trump family member. By the time you add up the cost of going to these classes, you are just paying another year of your child's tuition. At this kind of economy, can they stop eating our last piece of flesh. No wonder why they called it a University. If you decide not to become a family member, they would not even talk to you. You are just OUT! So why fill out the personal profile sheet on the first day with 100% honesty?? By the way, don't get excited when you hand out the listings that you found. Don't think that they will make calls for you. In fact, on the third day, they don't even return to you nor mention it anyway.
Potential Trumpster, think twice before pulling out your plastics. If I were you, go to a bookstore and browse at the real estate books first. There are things that you can do without attending the class. |

I attended a seminar last Tuesday and signed up for the 3 day retreat for $1495. After finding this and other sites with reviews, I decided this program was not what I wanted. 24 hours after signing up, I faxed them the cancellation per the contract, then called to see where to send the materials back to. My credit card had the credit posted the next day and there was no pressure to keep me from canceling. I sent the materials back to the address requested. Make sure you read the contract and if you want to cancel, do it per the instructions. I for one had no trouble getting my money back. Don't forget to use your credit card company to help you if they in fact are not refunding you per the contract. |

I just attended a session with an instructor named James Haris and it was amazing. The time to attend was well worth it. He is full of information and energy. I have been to the rich dad and stock trading events and they don't even come close. I know these events are designed to sell additional trainings but they didn't have to sell me. The content and energy in the room was all it took. I am looking forward to my 3 day training with James and to my new career in real estate. |

Not sure why folks are having problems with the trainings. I always learned that you have to work for money. You can't expect to get something for nothing. I found the training educational and interesting. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient. I am looking forward to my 3 day training. |

I went to the three day seminar and I didn't learn anything that I hadn't seen before. You could go to Barnes and noble and buy books on foreclosure investing and lease options and
asset protection and spend no more than about a hundred fifty dollars and have the same information.
The person doing the seminar said you could be a millionaire simply by buying 10 houses for 100K each rent them for ten years, they would double in value
giving you a million in equity.
Where I live it takes 20 or thirty years for a house to double in value.
They also try to upsell to another program that cost $38000. The contract has a statement that implies that there is no guarantee that you will make money after spending $38000 or
that Trump U is in anyway obligated to make sure you make anything. I asked about this and they said yes, Trump makes no guarantee and you will not be refunded anything if you don't make anything. For $4000 there is a local real estate club that will find a house with 25000 equity fix it up and rent it out for you.
Trump should guarantee that they will find at least 2 houses over a two year period get them fixed up and rented out and sell them making enough profit to at least break even.
You go to these seminars and they talk as if you can flip a house in a week or two and put $25000 profit in your bank account. If its as easy as they say giving you some kind of guarantee shouldn't be a problem. |

I went to the free seminar because Trump's name was on it. I researched some of the people listed on the web site. Clearly they have great credentials and I would have paid to learn from them. But the guy who was leading the seminar came across as a carnival hustler. To his credit he presented two methods of buying real estate in this market. But as the seminar progressed he said a few things about banking that were incorrect. He glossed over a few facts and there was no time for questions. My sense is that he was trying to seperate the intelligent and strong minded from the weak minded and those less knowledgable about real estate. I'm sure that those of us who left were labeled 'losers' to those that stayed. The techniques that he talked about are good in any real estate market. You really don't need to pay someone for the information that he was selling. As I read the comments on this page I am not surprised that the weekend retreat included another sales pitch for a much larger amount of money. The seminar leader, let's call him Jim, stated that he was hand picked by Donald Trump and is Donald's #1 trainer in the country. I think that 'Jim' took some liberties with the Trump name. My guess is that Trump licensed his name to a group of people and agreed to do some marketing. As in real estate, and everything else, BUYER BEWARE when it comes to giving your money to Trump University. |

I've been to three of the seminars and they act as though it must be taught in 3 days. A weekend is not needed at all; the material can be taught in a day, seriously people! I think they drag it on the entire weekend so you are forced to get a hotel room so theirs is free and they have time to pitch you the next salespitch, mentoring, which my husband did purchase. It was the worst mentoring I've ever had. I knew more than the mentor from previous courses. I mentioned the repetition and she simply stated it is a learning strategy...so if you want to pay thousands for repetition be my guest. I actually stopped in the middle of mentoring because she was wasting our time. I'm still trying to get our money back. Stay far away from that program! There are affordable legit real estate education courses out there, do your research and join a local Real estate investor club! |

I have been trying to get my money back from attending one of the seminars and have yet to do so. My contract stated that I had 3 days after date of purchase to cancel and I did so in 1 day. I attended the seminar on March 22, 2009 and here it is June 22, 2009 all they can tell me is that they see that I have done all that I was supposed to do but they don't know what is taking so long to refund my money. |

Regarding the tax lien course that I had purchased was a total disappointment.. The speakers (sales people) were great, the information is scarce as the binder (new version) which has been condensed has about 9 pages in it. When I had called some of the phone numbers that were listed for county offices, the numbers either were wrong or it was the wrong dept. meaning that this is old information. I have made purchases not using this course BUT by using all the information that is FREE on the internet is all you need!! The $1700 I spent I could of bought more tax liens. When calling the Trump Institute about my disappointment I had stated that I was willing to take 50% of a loss, so I was not looking for a 100% refund being I did open it. They told me since the purchase over 30 days had expired. My 2 day workshop was almost 30 days from the date I made the purchase... It is a shame I got screwed, BUT DON"T you!!! The info is for free on the web. I have bought 14 to date and plan to keep on buying as it is a safe investment in to days economy that does pay a high rate of return. |

I don't know why everyone is saying the three day retreat is a scam. The course materials you get plus the software and the Tons of information make this course more then worth the $1,495.00. You get out of it what you put into it and nobody is twisting your arm to sign up for the gold mentor program. Open your minds a little people what do you expect them to take you by the hand and make your first million for you, you have to put in some work and Trump shows you the way. |

Trump University is a major disappointment. They charged me $35,000 for the program, which I would never have paid if I had known that the info given to me was not true. I based my decision on that info! They would not return even a portion of my money after several long and tearful conversations, even after agreeing the info was outdated and they would have to do something about it. I would strongly suggest never using them. There are other gurus out there that are honest and don't cost as much !!! I can't believe Donald Trump would allow such mis-behaving to be associated with his name. Run fast and keep running where they are involved! |

I have attended events and workshops by Rich Dad, Robert Allen and others and this one was the best. I usually go and see what they are pitching and walk out if it sounds too good to be true. At this event I signed up for the 3 day training. They didn't promise anything over the top and the team seemed to understand the current market (not to mention I can walk away after day one and get a full refund). I am looking forward to my 3 day training, learning everything I can and then getting started investing. |

I had mixed reviews about the weekend seminar I payed for. The intro session really gave you the impression that the 3-day weekend would be full of education, but it turned out to be more of a sales pitch for an even bigger opportunity to shell out 35 large to have a big whig in the Trump system fly up here and buy property with you. Mr. Harris clearly was credible as far as financial success is concerned, but he is a lousy teacher, wasted half the day on having everyone introduce themselves, and wasn't clear on answering a lot of questions, which I believe to be deliberate on his part. He is a fast talker and didn't do much to establish trust with the audience, which made things frustrating. You do get some good materials and information though on how to get started, but this team of experts made it rather overwhelming and a lot of people left on Sunday feeling like they had missed something. This information could be presented a lot better and Trump University seems to have it backwards...first you should charge the 35 k, and THEN you teach the nitty gritty, so the sales pitches are done and then the REAL teaching can then take place. These people are salesmen, not professors. Keep that in mind before you give them your credit card. |
Tamara Phillips Boston | 8:14pm on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 |
How can an evangelical cult model work for Real Estate people who can't make enough money to support themselves? They get a pulpit position at Trump U!!! pretty soon, they'll be committing mass marriages and suicides... just as mentioned above, the call, repetition and response have been expertly designed to brainwash many and their slick questions which they attribute to the audience then answer substitute for a real Q/A session which every reliable source of information dissemination must have.
This is a shame - though nothing from Trump seems shameless. He is an indecent man, promoting indecent methods for taking YOUR money for information which is out in the public and difficult to implement by professionals. Furthermore, they reinforce that you are LAZY if you fail, rather than unsuccessful without adequate abilities.. They claim to give you confidence, but all the confidence in the world wouldn't make you a
--- high wire walker ---
would it? ? ?
You'd have to practice and learn and practice and learn.
If you use this $1495 course as a launching point for your learning process, ... that's fine. I don't know if that's comparable in the industry? but trust a RE professional to guide you to the right direction... don't get scammed by these scammers. |

I am going to remain neutral in regards to the pro and con wagon against Trump University. The program is excellent in the education aspect.
I just returned home from the Trump University's 3day retreat, "Fast Track to Foreclosure Investing". As I left on my final day,I came away with a bitter sweet opinion of my personal experience. I did learn alot of very useful information and received documents that will most certainly change my life whether or not I choose to stay in the "Trump Family". So in this aspect, the attendees, should not question if it was worth $1495 we paid. (Of our own free will). The information and tools we received will help you make money. How much is up to us.
I am however, displeased with the shift in attitude when I could not pay $34,995 for the "Trump Gold Elite" package or pay to "stay with the Family". I would have paid it, had the funds been available. I will use what I payed for and be successful but, as for "joining the Family"? Well,I raised my Family to be more compassionate. Instead, I will help those I can. Whether they are in my "Family" or not. There is a difference between a hand up and a hand out. And all of us deserve respect, no matter what the financial status. |

I just attended a SF Bay area 2 hour "education" (hard sales) event; the presenter was insulting; I a a B-school college professor and the high pressure of trying to make people feel they were "stupid" not to sign up was horrible; also, the instructor kept reminding us he was our "mentor"; I would NEVER select such an insulting mentor....as a professor, I know the way to motivate people is NOT to indirectly insult them....while this guy who taught it might have a "slick house" and slick car and kids who will never have to worry about things, he appeared to have no ethics or kindness at all; slick NYC type who simply doesn't cut it in the CA. market; not to mention what he was showing people were simple business deals for anyone with a college education....meaning many were insulted....not to mention at the end; they nearly block the doors with tables where people are supposed to "sign up" for the $1500 3 day seminar. The guy said he'd answer questions at the end, I pointed out he never answered any questions or gave time, he told me to sit down at the "table"; I suppose I needed to fork over $1500 for "questions" answered....BEWARE ALL! |

i attended the seminar today ,and by using my better judgment my wife and i did not pay the 1500 for the follow up class ....seeing as i didn't get any questions answered after i hesitated to sign up right away the the guy putting on the show wouldn't even respond to me ....that made me automatically go into scam mode seeing as how in the at the start of the seminar they would answer questions at the end ....but no one got there questions answered not even the people who rushed to back table to sign up for the three day thing....so my whole take on it especially after reading these blogs is .....are you a buyer or a seller

I have been to seminars by Trump, Kiyosaki, Allen and
Sheets. There isn't much information given at these
seminars that you can't get at Barnes and Noble for a lot less money. Subject are typically pre-foreclosure, foreclosure, REO, lease options, rehabbing, finding deals, business cards, putting up signs, 7 day auctions, real estate contracts.
If you have read a few books you won't see much of anything new for the $2000 fee they charge. |
Phil Komisky Houston | 2:01pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 |
I went to the free seminar where they sold the three day seminar for $1995. They said Donald Trump is not out to take your money. They said he has so much money that the $1995 doesn't mean anything to him.
At the three day seminar they were selling more courses and 3 days of mentoring for $38000.
They said the $1995 seminar was not enough and that you would probably lose a lot of money if you didn't buy the $38000 dollar program.
Donald Trump does not seem to be trying to do anybody any favor. TrumpU is just another business to him and he probably only cares about the cash flow.
The agreement for the $38000 program has a statement where you sign the agreement that from what I read there is no guarantee that you will make any money and that TrumpU has no real obligation to you. |

I am personally surprised to see some of the comments below. I attended one free seminar, then selected some courses and assistance that got me started in real estate investing. I now own one multi-family home. I occupy one side of it, rent out the other, and live basically rent free. Plus, I now have another multi-family under contract. When I close on that, I will have excellent, positive cash flow from my investments and I should be well on my way toward independence. Trump's instructors were helpful and hands-on. Within days, I was looking at properties and learning how to make the numbers work - or not work. So for me, Trump U. has provided a chance to move toward my dreams. Do they charge money? Well, they are a business. But it is possible to get the training you want, at the price you can afford, and do what I have done. |

I also agree that the 3-day training was outstanding. I have walked away believing more that I can achieve my real estate goals. My life will never be the same. After the training, I said to myself "self, there is no turning back to the same ole same ole. Now is the time to make that move with the help of the Trump mentoring team." The best thing about the whole training is that the instructor kept reminding us that we are to create a win-win situation for everyone. We are here to help while make a profit. I am on fire and look forward to seeing you all at the top. |

I attended their free introductory class in St. Louis. There was a lot of good information mixed in with a sales pitch. I signed up for their three day training because of the free trial/guarantee - I could get my money back if I wasn't happy after the first day. I have to say it was 3 days of great information and one on one attention. They did ask me if I wanted to sign up for additional training but I didn't at the time because I was motivated to do it myself. Now I am looking into some of the additional training options. Does anyone know if they will extend the discount they offered at the event? All I can say is that if you want to learn the ropes of investing these guys will teach you; but get ready to put some energy into it because investing takes effort. Your success (and I found this out first hand) is not going to happen if you don't work for it. |

I attended a free class and was very impressed with what trump was offering. I was worried that there would be a training class and then i would be on my own....which i've done before and it wen nowhere. Trump's program offered a full year of support after the training which I thought was a great value and was exactly what i need to stay on track. The 3 day training itself was outstanding and just like i thought it was a ton of information to absorb which is why i need the ongoing help which they offer. What really set the experience apart for me at least was the quality of the trump team. They absolutely knew what they were talking about but more than that they really seemed to care if i was keeping up and if i "got it". Bottom line, it was a great investment for me and I moving ahead on a second career in real estate!!! |

I have taken several courses from them and have learned a great deal! I don't know what courses people have taken that haven't been satisfactory but you have to research and know what you're buying. Maybe the course wasn't a correct fit but I will absolutely be doing more with them and continue to learn as much as I can! |

I'm glad I did my reseach before I gave them a dime.
I went to the free seminar yesterday, they talk a real good game.
The gentleman that gave the presentation said he would answer questions after his presentation. He didn't answer one question. After his presentation it was just big pressure to get everybody signed up for the three day retreat.
When he didn't answer questions I knew something was up.

I signed up the tax lien products & as the organization promised "Full Money Back Guarantee" within 10 days. I called at least 10 times the organization & they keep on telling me different time frame & story about why they delayed to refund me. It's been the 25th business days, have NOT yet received my refund.
I checked BBB & found they did have a lot of fraud issues.
I think this company has a lot of BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE THAT NEEDS TO BE REGULATED OR SUED!
It's on the LEGAL borderline, maybe it's the same as the founder's mindset. Hopefully, corporate America has less organization like this. I think the company may file bankruptcy sooner or later & they will establish a new firm to continue the "scam" business. |

I attended the free seminar last night and I have mixed feelings. Yeah, I can see how a highly motivated person could use this information to make a lot of money.
On the other hand, any highly motivated person is probably already out there making money. The people I saw in this class were all elderly or, to put it politely, trailer trash.
These are not the people who will be out there selling real estate next month.
The basic principles given out in the seminar are perfectly reasonable; buy low and sell high. But the examples that they described are completely unrealistic. If the people in the examples really existed they could solve their own problems within days using the same strategies and not paying the middle man (i.e., you). |

I went to the free weekend class. I had been studying trust law and commerce a little on my own. As I listened to the presentation, I was surprised at how much was already making sense about how they structure the deals, based on the knowledge I have already gained on my own... which tells me this program is based in reality and is probably only for motivated people who know how to decipher what they hear and put some of it into action instead of griping. I am smart, creative, very detailed, and an optimist. I am not charismatic or sales-minded by any stretch. Can someone tell me, can a person like me put together a deal and make a couple thousand the first time, and each and every time? Has anyone had success like this? |

Thanks for the info we have all known from the start. Trump U is really about coaching and mentoring and a commitment to the kaisen principles. I have learned everyone is looking for a magic lamp. We want someone to tell us what to do and how to do it. There are few true leaders in this nation anymore because no one wants to dream, innovate, create or challenge the systems we get stuck in. Take the info your mentors give you and challenge yourself to leap beyond them. Ive taken away alot of info from the trump team over the last couple of years and most of it is good information-Information to mix in with all that I continue to learn from Trump and others. Its all kaisen for me and I just keep digging. Throw out your magic lamp and get to work. Sometimes 5 minutes of great information is all you need to launch your future and to me thats worth a few bucks. Dave from Michigan. |

I have read the course material and it is full of good ideas. If you have purchased real estate in the past the TRUMPSTER is for you. This is the best time to load up on deals. The deals a ripe for the picking
and you could find the home of your dreams. It's not to late to start, just do it. |

I can't tell about the quality of the course, although I signed up for it, but I can say that the "free" class was pure pressure - you're stupid if you've ever paid for property, etc - but gimme your credit card number now and we'll sign you up! No credit card? Get out.
It was more like a religious revival, complete with shouts of hallelujah (well, "OPM - Other People's Money!", "Fine! No Problem!" and L-L-"C!") It's easy to get suckered in, and I'm a little nervous about how the cancellation process will go... |

I spent three weekends at the Trump Institute hoping to learn valuable information in real estate investing. I did not get any support they said I would get and ended up spending over $14,000. This was a total waste of money and I want to get it back. I am encouraging people to file a class action law suit if they were as discouraged as I was. I am going to demand them my money back. I want to let others know how I feel. |

I'm surprised at all the negative comments, considering how most people haven't even attended the weekend seminars. I assume these individuals are too cynical and skeptical to actually do anything with their financial future, let alone find financial independence from their J-O-B. I paid for the wealth seminar and really enjoyed it. I found out so much information, much of it I wasn't even aware of. Although it is a bit pricey, the information is well worth it. I'm not sure if you can find this information elsewhere in a neat little package. But for me, I've found some crucial information that is already saving me money. |

I was very suspicious at the free intro meeting, they just try to appeal to your greed the entire time. What topped it off was when we asked if we could have some time to consider signing up and the guy said "if you cannot commit a measly $1500 today then Trump doesn't want you in his class, he only wants those that can commit now when they see a deal." WOW what great advice, be impulsive. Pretty sure that's a horrible investment strategy... |

Frustrated In Sacramento Sacramento, CA | 4:08am on Thursday, January 29th, 2009 |
Buyer Be Beware! Just because something has the Trump name, it doesn’t mean it’s automatically platinum quality or service.
BEWARE, I highly caution all other individuals to strongly reconsider dealing with the Trump Institute or with A Business Strategy Group LLC of NY or of FL. Regardless of whether or not this is actually the Trump Institute or an affiliate/partner organization, I hold the Trump Institute responsible for honoring its obligations based on what I executed on a legal and binding contract. The Trump Institute elected to affiliate or partner with this organization and/or the individuals I have dealt with are in the direct employ of the Trump Institute.
While the program itself may or may not have any merit, I would highly caution others to take my experience into serious consideration regardless of what you may hear from the speakers at the program, hear from the individuals at the purchasing/closing table, or read on the Invoice Receipt/Contract/”Notice of Cancellation”.
If you intend on reserving the right to exercise your “Notice of Cancellation”, you may end up getting the poor or lack of customer service, poor or lack of response, ill-informed individuals, endless contact points and phone numbers to call, and a general runaround and headache for which you may have not bargained.
As a result of this single interaction, I will never return to the Trump Institute for any future events, workshops, coaching, books, programs, materials, or transactions. A company that does not or cannot abide by its own contract is not an honorable company to deal with in any transaction. It is a shame, I would have thought that a Trump branded organization would have exceeded any expectation I may have had as a client and customer. Sadly, even with the Trump brand on this organization, it falls flat and definitely short of what I would consider reputable or honorable. |

Most people need a solid kick in the butt to get things in motion. This seminar did that. The major caveats I found involve inaccurate information that CAN and WILL get people in trouble. Here are a few examples:
Preaching how a foreclosure will "ruin your credit for 7-10 years. Wrong,,you can repurchase using FHA after 3 years
Using inaccurate FHA limits in the examples. FHA limits vary by county.
The major caveat is implying that anyone can practice Real Estate. You need to be VERY careful when you start acting like an agent, without a license! Be smart, hire a professional in your team. |

Frankly I'm very suprised by all of the negative comments. I attended a 3 day workshop...yes, i paid $1,495....and I thought it was an excellent introduction to RE investing. The instructor and the team did a great job not just teaching but motivating me as well. I've looked at a number of different programs and have even attended a Rioch Dad training and I thought the Trump people delivered exactly what they said they would. Was there selling at the event? Sure, but I didn't buy and i didn't think it interfered with the training at all. |

I signed up for the program (what a stupid a** I was) because I thought the Donald really meant “giving back to the community” by setting up the seminar; what a liar he is.
Then when I read more about them on the internet (again, after paying, which further proves the stupid above) I tried to cancel next day.
Everything seemed fine; the customer service lady who answered the phone was quick and helpful setting up the return free UPS mailing label for me. She even gave me a Return Authorization # and said that UPS would show up maximum in 72 hours to pick up the package.
This was 2 weeks ago. Since then no UPS guy showed up to pick-up the materials. Until the Donald does not receive the materials, they do not refund your money –according to their disclaimer.
So I tried and tried and tried calling them to see what is going on, but now the only response I get is that "our offices are closed" and call back later. Does not matter what day or hour you call, this is the only response you get.
So The Donald is just an other internet scammer, and his place in a jail would be well deserved. If there is any justice on earth (which we all know that there is ).
He probably does not have enough money if he needs mine, so I assume he is going to bed hungry. If he told me that, I could have contributed toward a loaf of bread so he can eat something. But he prefers stealing other people's money. That is actually one of his mottos: "OPM” (other people's money). What he does not mention is that the motto is actually: S-OPM (steal other people's money) if you want to become a billionaire.
Even if I can change the mind of one single person not to give these crooks money, this posting is worth my time.
I contacted my credit card company to reverse the payment, so I am still hopeful I can get my money back. |

I attended one of the NY 3 day retreats on Real Estate. I paid almost 1500 for that. They were slick. They set up the whole weekend so that at the end you would buy the 38,000 mentorship program. The first day they tell you to call your credit card co. and ask them to extend your line of credit. They said to tell them you will be making a big purchase soon (we thought they meant real estate little did we know it was their mentorship that was the BIG purchase). They stress that you are part of the family. They said not to leave the family after this. Stay in the family. They also tell you to list your goals. They do this so that when you sit down with them at your one-on one session they tap into your emotions. They tell you that you have low self esteem and that you need to make a change in your life. Then they drilled into you throughout the whole 3 days that you NEED a mentor. They said that you will not be successful without a mentor. Every other sentence out of their mouth included something to do with a mentor. They claim that people are first? Yea ok. That's why when my friend wanted to cancel within the 3 day period of the original contract they gave her the run around and tried to put her in a lower priced package. They are salesman first and formost praying on people that are so desperate to become financially free. |

I am surprised at all the negative comments...I took the free weekend workshop in New York and even though that did have "upgrades" I was disappointed that they didn't try to sell me harder. I already own a small residential real estate business, a professional martial arts studio and because of the program was inspired to start another business. I found the workshop to be inspiring and down to earth. I also find all the materials have have purchased from the Trump organization to be very valuable. The "branding for profit" and "how to buy a business." |

Thank you to all of you who posted here for saving me thousands of dollars!
After attending a Rich Dad Education info-mercial weekend in Omaha and being floored by the prices, I decided to search for other ways to get my real estate investing education and landed at Trump U.
I knew when I asked Trump's representative "why I sould invest in Trump U over Rich Dad", he stuttered and gave Rich Dad Education a put down that said to me unprofessional and run. No different then Rich Dad education and you would think that since these men have collaborated together, there would be a little more respect shown.
The only way to learn this business is to read read read and then go out and start using it yourself. That's how Kiyosaki and Trump learned it and that's how I'll learn it too.
Save your money to start doing your deals. |

I was less than impressed with the pushy 'sign-up or leave attitude', but the speakers had passion. So I signed up for the first portion.

Impress me Donald or I am through. I will do my part.

Absolute crap! This is the same old, stale, re-packaged crap that Ron Legrand, Robert Allen, Russ Whitney and the rest of these morons have ben peddling for a decade or more. It is not applicable to the current eceonomy or the current market.
I have been buying and selling real estate here in Central Florida for 13 years. She refused to go into specifics and answer the questions directly. A waste of time and money. You would be better off to go to the libray and get cds and books for free. They are biggest scammers of all time! My husband signed up for the 6 month real estate training program, the curriculum sucks. There is no apparent teacher or live sessions. Besides that since they had my credit card information from this program, they decided to charge for another coaching program which I never authorized. It has been more than 8 months and I have still not gotten my money back. After several calls from me and finally me CC company, guy called STEVE told me that there is a different company charging me which was completely bogus. They didn't even have my account. Talk about a presentation that stinks. These guys were in such a hurry to have the credit card machine run it was ridiculous. I have attended alot of seminars but this was ridiculous. The people from the trump organizatiopn were so pushy after a while I felt kind of like man i want to get out of here but i stayed and listened to the whole presentation and took a book home. Mr. trump are you aware of how pushy these people are? Skip the cliches and the pictures of the kidds and how you grew up and get to the meat of the matter and show people whats in the box also known as business in a box and let people see more info on the program and I bet you would sell alot more. But i would say be careful at the meetings yes you can learn some stuff but it seemed most people already knew what the presenter was going to say before hand about the market. Over all I woulsd say be careful and think about it first before you plunk down your hard earned money. |

I just attended a seminar here in Columbus, Ohio and felt like the presenters were trying to ram the course down my throat. Talk about high pressure selling, if you didnt have a credit card they wouldnt talk to you it was do it now or we dont want to talk to you period. Let me tell you Columbus Ohio people are very smart people and for these folks to try to assume we are stupid and try to sell us Trumps courses without ever letting us see whats in the course, sorry not going to happen. Trump reminds me of carelton Sheets trying to sell you something to make himself already richer but that you have to figure out what makes the program tick. My suggestion is be careful there are wolves everywhere who want to eat us sheep. |

I attended the 2 day wealth-building week-end with my spouse in February of 2008. I don't think it was a scam, but I would have wished for better treatment. We spent the required $1500 and took away some handy information about investing in real estate. But this is by no means the all to end all. They do push more products on you at their seminars, but do not make it obligatory to buy it in order to succeed. The training is not one on one, it is a room full of people and although the instructor at the course, David Alexander is good, his teaching method is forceful with little room for interrogation. I think if one really wants to succeed in real-estate they will need to do a lot of research. And don't think that one simple course such as this will magically earn you instant success within a few weeks. But it is definitively a solid stepping stone. |
