30 Day Wealth System Review – Is 30daywealth.com a Scam?
January 14th, 2010 | Published in Business Opportunities
30 Day Wealth is a new make money online product just released by creator Rick Thomas. In this guide he attempts to show newbies how they can build a profitable income stream by following his step-by-step system.
On his sales page he talks about creating research reports and recruiting people to help you market them as the best method of earning an online income. In more basic terms this is a course on product research, development, and sales.
What’s Inside?
Rick outlines this process from inception all the way to creating a websites and hosting your product with an online merchant network like Clickbank. The crux of this course is on identifying people’s needs and creating an answer for them in the form of an online eBook.
He recommends writing about something that you already know even a little bit about and supplementing that info with online research. There really is no limit to what you can write about as long as there is an identifiable market out there.
Here’s a hypothetical example of this. Let’s say you’re a hair dresser and you notice that the majority of your clients are complaining of flat hair. So you use your industry knowledge and some help from Google to create a guide called, “3 Tips to Amazingly Full Hair” which you sell for $19.95 online.
This pretty much sums up the 30 Day Wealth System by Rick Thomas. He does go in much more detail about how to research your niche and how to create your eBook but essentially this is his strategy. Not really groundbreaking stuff but there’s no doubt that this is a legitimate way to make money online, just do an online search for how to do anything and you’ll be flooded with thousands of these types of guides.
So is 30 Day Wealth System the Real Deal?
I think this is a decent product with a good deal of resources and some helpful videos. However, I feel that Rick over represents this opportunity and his product lacks in the most important aspect of this process which is marketing and traffic generation.
You buy 30 Day Wealth; make a product, but then what. If you take a look at some of the niches that he recommends you work in, like fitness for instance, the odds of you succeeding are astronomical. Let’s say you’re a fitness instructor with the best system for rock hard abs and you make your how to get abs in 15 days book.
Now Rick recommends that you go in forums and tell affiliate marketers how amazing your book is and that they should promote it. That’s great, but what makes your product stand out from the millions of others not to mention the already established gurus in the industry?
The point is that this is a long process which involves building a following for your product, making relationships in the industry, and ultimately standing out from the pack. It’s unfair of Rick to say that the average Joe can accomplish this in 30 days.
So is 30 Day Wealth a Scam?
The eBook is by no means a scam but that’s not to say it doesn’t come with its own share of faults. I can see how it can be helpful to complete newbies but at the same time much of the training is lacking, especially when it comes to the website building aspect.
The website builder that he used and recommends you do as well makes simple sites that are nothing to brag about. Rick’s own 30daywealth.com website doesn’t even work properly in the Firefox web browser and is missing serious security features.
Ultimately, this is an ok guide that can help get you thinking about how to succeed in the online world with your own info product, but at the same time it’s definitely not a standalone resource.
