Auction Job Finder Reviews
Is Catherine Thomas Legit or a Scam?

Auction Job Finder is a website that promises to show people a way to find work at home auction jobs. This is a term they’ve come up with to sum up the business of posting items on sites like eBay for profit.

They claim this is an easy opportunity anyone can use to easily turn a profit while working from home. They use Catherine Thomas as a spokesperson to share this program, claiming that she’s America’s top work at home consultant.

Now, as appealing as Auction Job Finder may sound there are a few things that you should know before you proceed. First, and most importantly, you need to understand that you are not actually applying for a job.

What’s the Auction Job Finder Opportunity All About?

As hard as they try to make it sound like you’ll actually be working for brand name companies helping them list items on eBay, that’s simply not the case. What the Auction Job Finder program does is introduce you to the wholesale/drop-ship business – auctioning off products at a discounted rate and keeping the difference as profit.

This is why if you join Auction Job Finder you’ll be instructed to sign up with another company, a wholesaling service that actually handles the merchandise. You’ll use your membership there to find and list the products you want on eBay; this service also charges an additional fee.

Along these lines it’s important to make the distinction that when Catherine Thomas says, “You can get paid as much as $5 for every single item you list,” it’s not necessarily a lie. But the key is that you only get paid when an item is sold, you won’t get paid just for listing items.

So is Auction-Job-Finder.net a Scam?

You may not know, but this is not the first version of this course. In fact, there have been a dozen of these websites along with a dozen “#1 Work at Home Consultants” touting this exact program.

The reason for this is simple; in the long run these programs end up generating lots of negative feedback, which obviously hurts sales. The marketers behind this program protect their bottom line by simply reinventing, or even just renaming, the product.

If you don’t believe me take a look at the last website they used, workathomepositionplacement .com, featuring Elizabeth Jackson as the spokesperson – surprise! They’re nearly identical.

What’s important is to understand why this company generates so much negative feedback that they have to keep changing their image every few months. A legitimate business wouldn’t have to resort to these tactics as the product and customer service should be good enough to avoid being called a scam.

One thing that people find disingenuous about the company behind Auction Job Finder is that they’re always asking for more money. Even after you sign up for the drop-shipping and wholesaling service they pester you to join an upgraded coaching program which costs around $5,000.

You can’t tell people that you can make them rich with one program and in the next breath say that if you truly want to be successful then you need to invest in additional resources. This is how they’re able to ruin their reputation in a matter of months.

If you do want to learn how to sell on eBay there are legitimate resources out there, just know that when you’re trying to wholesale for profit it’s nothing more than a race to the bottom. Unless you can provide customers a cheaper price than the next guy you won’t make enough money to make it a worthwhile endeavor.

Hi all, just to let you know I joined this program, and minutes later realized it’s a scam, then I asked for refund of my subscription of over $200, waited for 2 weeks, the Catherine Thomas (Auction job finder) still have not responded. Please do not join them! They will cheat you and rip you off!

If anyone got your money back, pls post a comment. I suspect all have been ripped off!!!

I am one of those Gulliable, Naive fools. I am desperate to make an income as I lost my job before Xmas. I am 55 yrs and it is not easy to find a job at my age. And of course I got sucked into this one, especially when they tell you that you qualify for the position. I wish I had found this site first, as I already paid the $97.95 fee. And now I will have to go through the process of trying to get my money returned. I hope it will not be too difficult. I am so annoyed at my self. Why can’t these people have tighter regulations on these scams? What’s wrong with our Government that they can’t control these scammers? Or at least put up some sort of Alert! I’m well aware that there are those of you that will say it’s my own Fault.

For no other reason, when in doubt, check it out. If a host of information is given how good something is and you still do not still have the real information, they aren’t being up front with everything you need to make the right decision. Thank you for this opportunity to make a comment and for listing the truth about the job. I hope more people check this out and read the comments. It makes me feel good that I wasn’t taken in by all the fluff.

If they have the brains to think up these programs, why do they not have the brains to make it successful? I wish I had an idea on how to make money at home. I would be thrilled and wouldn’t want to think about scamming people…. The people that do this are totally thoughtless and greedy!

Auction Job Finder is a FINANCIAL PREDATOR as are their co-conspirators. M.O. always the same. Your financial problems are about to get worse. They sell/share your info with the big fish. Fortune Learning Systems, Ivy Capital, Wholesale Match, IC. They share the same website names, Mgt.etc. originate out of Utah. The money from the credit card co’s goes to IC in Nevada. BBB/utah rates them F as in FAILURE. They do not belong to the BBB. This Fraud has been allowed to continues for years. They take people for thousand of dollars each. They target seniors and Disabled Iraqi Vets. (Vets have the disability comp.$$$10-20,000). Where are our Federal agencies. THEY KNOW. Elected officials-out to lunch? or campainging?. Let them know we want action NOW.

Just one other thing to note: All large companies do NOT use individuals to post content on auction sites. They use upload capabilities pulling the information from their own online catalogs/databases. RARELY will you ever find a company doing simple postings/listings by hand. It’s just too time consuming. All companies like ebay, google, etc. have APIs (application programming interfaces) that allow companies to connect their data to the websites listings.
    Great POST!

Rest assured that every component of our program is legal. We operate within the guidelines set forth in our industry. Yes, there may be payment for testimonials and substitution of the users image, but the testimonials are 100% true and verified. Customers that submit a testimonial sign an affidavit attesting that the information is true. Any financial pay out is for the time and effort taken on the part of the customer to submit the testimonial. Some customers decline any pay out at all. It’s understand as well that not everyone wants their image to go viral on the internet for various reasons. If a customer wishes to share their story, but not their image, we comply. We apologize to those that are not supporters of our program and/or our industry, but we abide by all regulations that govern us. Again, if you have purchased our program and feel that it is not for you, you can simply refund your purchase.

I am almost always very carefull, probably because I am not desperate. So if you are one of those desperate people please take a step back and think about the opportunity before you pull the trigger. Always do some research before you give your money away. Thanks for the info!!!!

I would like to know how, if a business is supposed to be legit, but it’s really a “scam” that they can get away with using the logos and advertisements on their website to make the opportunity more attractive? True – they are offering a service, but isn’t this considered False Advertising if they are veering away from the person they claim to be? Are they paying rights to use the corporate logos? And are they paying royalties for the “news” announcer and the backdrop with the channel information? I’d really like to know. Any comments?

Support Staff, clearly you work for these jerks.

Personally I’m of two minds about internet scams. First, the scammers are heartlessly taking advantage of people in serious financial straits, particularly with the economy going into meltdown as it is. This opportunistic scavenging means that, as far as life forms go, they fall somewhere between a cockroach and a vulture.

However, if people are too dumb to do a simple search about the program, they kind of deserve what they get. The fine print on their site alone warns you that results are not “typical”, and that the testimonials are paid for, and that the names and images of the attestants are false. They admit that “Catherine Thomas” and her image is fake also.

Always, always, always read the fine print. Always consider the source. A little caution now means a whole lot less pain later. Thank you SO much for the article and the link to less repulsive programs.

Yeah so going through e mails see this. I thought it would direct me to something like Monster or jobing. No it was clearly a scam. It is very frustrating that people only want to help themselves and have such utter disregard for the welfare of the innocents they prey upon. There are too many people desperate for REAL jobs to feed their families and keep their homes to be pulling this kind of crap. There has to be a way people who don’t yet understand the evils of scams can be informed. That way the scammers no longer have any fuel… Life is SO depressing nowadays, don’t you think?

They are hitting on people who are trying to get help, need the income, and are very vulnerable. They are bottom feeders with no concern for you…only interest is lining there own pockets…while professing to be concerned with your well being.
