Awesome Penny Stocks Reviews – Legit or Scam?

Awesome Penny Stocks

AwesomePennyStocks.com is a website that offers a free subscription to an investment newsletter that targets the buying and selling of penny stocks.  In exchange for simply supplying your email address, you will get a newsletter with stock recommendations that allegedly rise in cost on a regular basis, allowing you to earn payouts on your investment.

Penny stocks is a term used the market to reference stocks that trade for under $5.00.  Awesome Penny Stocks generally seems to limit the stocks they investigate and promote to being those that actually trade at less than $1.00.

While it may seem hard to believe (or not so hard to believe, given the current financial situation in the US) that there are legitimate stocks being traded at less than $1.00 a share, it is true.  Penny stocks are also called “micro cap equity” and have been around for a long time.

So is Awesome Penny Stocks a Scam?

It’s hard to say definitively whether Awesome Penny Stocks is a scam, but it is definitely dangerous.  First of all, penny stocks are notoriously easy prey for price manipulation.  This means that a company like Awesome Penny Stocks can purchase a large amount of potentially worthless stock, recommend it to their subscribers, who purchase the stock causing the price to rise, and then the company sells their stock, causing the the stock price to drop again.

This is a well established problem with companies that recommend penny stocks, even long before the Internet became the go-to investment guide.

Another serious problem with Awesome Penny Stocks is that they admit in their Disclaimer that they accept money from third party companies, and therefore admit to being biased when reviewing these companies.  This means that Awesome Penny Stocks could be taking money from companies for the purpose of recommending their stock to their subscribers in order to bring up the price of their particular stock.

And if those problems aren’t warning enough, Awesome Penny Stocks also freely admits in their Disclaimer that no one who works for them actually has any sort of training or certification as far as investment advising is concerned.  So really, if you were interested in penny stocks, you would be much better off researching and choosing them on your own, than taking a chance with a company that admits to taking money from companies who might wish to promote their own stock.

John Babikian, one of the principals of APS, is facing lawsuits for stock manipulation and unpaid taxes. The SEC and AMF (Quebec’s SEC) are currently investigating on this case. John has fled Canada. He is of the worst scum. He’s a fraud, a thief, a criminal and I hope someone finds him, tears him apart and shit on his remains. He has frauded clueless investors for hundreds of millions of dollars. Torturing him is going to be sweet; bring out the Iron maiden, the pillory and the Brazen bull

Vic is right, if you play it right you can make some good money. By the stock when they first release the tip, right around the 50-100% mark sell, sell, sell, and you’ll be left with some good cash. Don’t get too greedy and think it will keep going up. Also, put in small sums of money that you will not lose sleep over if lost. If you sold at 75 cents after a 125% increase, then see it go up as high as $1.20, don’t worry.. you made out handsomely still. Then wait until the next alert and rinse and repeat. It works.

Mike I agree. APS advertises a stock which raises the value. Everything they say in thier emails is hype just like ANY advertising campaign. The only real truth is in their disclaimer. Get in early, take a ride, and get out. GREED kills. Getting 50% to 100% return on your money is Awesome. Don’t try to ride a penny to long. 5 SOLID STARS for APS.

I heard that you only get it 30 or less minutes before the others if U sign up for Premium Stock Report (APS), which does little good. Because sometimes the stock drops intra-day when APS first announce the new pick, or sometimes the next day it drops, before later rising in trend for about 2 weeks… So based on that, I’d say $149 would be a poor investment. You can get good entry for free. And I have read posts where some people claimed to get their money refunded (maybe fake posters?) & posts where they did not get any refund or reply. I’d be very skeptical of signing up for Premium Report.

Of course APS is a pump and dump….just like many many others…I receive theirs news-letter for years and not in a single one i read something like…”Its Results is GARANTID”…All i see is ..ön our opinion, or we consider this because this and that…but disclaimer is clea..DO YOUR OWN DILIGENCE!!!!
Its Stock Market, NOT FOR DUMMES,…people involved in stock market must know how Market Makers work, must have a plataform with Level 2 and study a lot, learn how it works…

As anticipated, APS is coming out with a new pick within approx 10 days or less (By about May 9 or much sooner), as based on a new e-mail tonight — F.Y.I. …Advice is to load up on the next pick due out soon within 2 days of its new announcement, & ride it up for about 2-3 weeks, watch for resistance each day, & if resistance starts to show a top, then sell it. Same strategy has worked on almost all its picks since last year. Good luck to you all

This company is a total scam and I am now saving money to hire a lawyer to sue them. I lost about $30K and they told said in their email if these stocks (GWBU) does not go up we will close our company down and obviously they haven’t done so. The price was at $1.60 per share when they were making claims that the price is expected to go to $7 within weeks and to $15 within a year, however in a few months the price dropped to $0.01. They use what is called a pump and drop technique where they raise the price within a short amount of time using their email marketing (in this case in two months the price went from pennies to $2.00) and then they drop it back down to pennies again within another couple of months and then they just abandon the stocks. This way they make the maximum profit in the shortest amount of time possible. If you research GWBU you will find that the two CEOs were the highest paid CEOs for that year and make millions with only $16K in investments. I wish I did my research earlier, this was my first trade and will not make this mistake again. Never listen to Email Marketing people for stocks advise, I lost a bit of more money from other companies as well. Good Luck!

All U have to do is buy their new stock within a day or 2 of the Alert, & almost always the new stock rises for 2-3 weeks. Just follow that pattern: Get in early, ride the pump, then sell soon after the rise 1-2 weeks, or when you start to see selling (resistance). It is not that difficult! Just don’t buy it after it has risen for 2 weeks, despite their continued pump that it will rise. Just go in early & sell after that first 2 week move. That is very typical. All happened with GOFF, SWVI, FARE, TAGG, others

    teerandaz says:
    April 26th, 2013 at 4:51 pm

You need to scrutinize the pattern. If you don’t know how to dance, don’t blame the uneven floor.

If you look closely, most pumps will do a pullback in the first week. Take it ONLY on the pullback…generally about the 4/5th day. Create a channel for the pullback, and when it hits the support the third time, and begins to get out of the upper (resistance) line of channel, buy it. It will climb. About 20-60% climb later, it will make a second pullback. Get off before then, clamber on at second pullback like you did for the first. Ride it all the way to the top. If you get two humps after about 50% of your second climb, this stock is going to tank. If you get a red candle at end of day after the second pullback, it is going to dump. Else, take a 100% ride. The guideline is that when the stock does a 5x from the lowest point of the first day, it is time to get out. Awesomepenny does the best job of making its traders some serious money. Most other pumpers are notorious for opening high, and swooning all the way after that. And I am not a member of their staff..just another trader like you. Don’t put in 30K, just put in 5K and see it grow to 30K in a few months.

Hope this helps in your future trades. And like they say, don’t ocmplain…get up and go for it again.

frank you cant research the stocks they pump, there is no track record, get in then if you double get out dont look fore a big score, when they send an email saying people are still buying in get out. if you buy in at say .20 and it hits .40 sell, take your money and run

To fRANK, if you are serious about suing those who run the Awesome Penny Stocks website, I will join you. They kept enticing me and the other poor investors who trusted them to keep holding on what we bought and keep buying more while still under $0.30. Little did we know that they were the ones who manipulated the stock and, of course, gained millions of $$. I finally sold the GOFF stock after I woke up and discovered it was a total scam. They used to send an update on Sundays. There was no updates yesterday sent nor there was no email from them for the Monday updated. They stole our money and disappeared. I hope one of the lawyers who follows the manipulation of the stocks, reads this and file a law suite on our behalf.

Just a tip for anyone that wants to use APS. The KEY is not to be greedy. Buy on the first day of the new pick at its low point and only hold for a week or two..But also to be sure to do your homework. In the case such as FARE at the beganing of the year.APS almost always starts with a fresh company for big pumps and FARE was not. Study your charts and look at the trends..they pump for almost a month and dump the next while contiuning to to tell you that it is going to bounce back, which it is not, they are just tring to cover their shares on the open market. I have been useing and studying APS for over 2years, and every trade I have made has gotten me at least a gain of 120% every time. Know that you are trading a pump and dump stock.. 100% of the time they go up and 100% of the time they WILL crash. Get out when you are ahead and you will never loose. If you get greddy saying one more day, one more day. They will dump on you and you will get stuck with a loss. They always dump at the open of the market before you will ever get the time to sell your stock. Good luck with all your trades and be sure you do your research. It will pay off… happy trading

As another recent example: Look at what GOFF has done from March 18, 2012 recommended at .27, now thru April 1 it has more than doubled to .57 peak. It is an example that you can get on the pup train early and profit with them, but you need to be selling after a period of gains in a week or 2-3 weeks. Such as now. If you haven’t started to sell by now (April 4), then it is your fault for holding too long.
I’m just being factual. Scroll downward to my earlier post with more examples. It is very possible to make money on most of their picks. Jsst time the buy early once they put it out, then sell soon afterwards. Typical pick averages almost 2 weeks before it crashes.

He was right bought at .28 sold at.56. Took my profit and ran! Don’t get greedy and hold on to long. I was a victim of this before so learned from my mistake. IF after 2-3 weeks you dont get a profit STILL sell becuase it is still going to crash(this only happen once to my knowledge) It is better to get some profit and move to the next then none at all. Once it crashes the chance of selling it during the crash is slim to none.

Hi. I’ve been watching AwesomePennyStocks a long time. It is true they are a biased pump scheme, but most of their picks do go up initially after they recommend them for a few days up to 3-4 weeks, and then eventually crash. So it is true that their picks do go up after they start e-mailing them for free to people, but you have to be wise to buy right away then sell after a rise after a few days. Just ride the pump & don’t hold it beyond a certain period once it starts to crash while they are telling you to hold. I observed VLNX, PRTN, TAGG, FARE, SWVI… & those are their most of their recent picks that did perform, so if you sold them in less than 2-4 weeks after they recommended them– then you did make money—- to be fair. What I say here is the main point most people are missing at this review board. SWVI most recently was recommended at .30 or less in mid-January 2013, & it did rise to a peak of 1.00 on February 20, then a sell off pattern developed. If anyone held thru those 4+ weeks of gains & did not make any money, then it is their fault for being too stupid for not selling. This service does pump, but a person just needs to know to ride the pump then dump soon after. SVEN(December 2012 pick) was the only one that did not rise very long after they started promoting it, but all other stocks since about August 2012 thru March did do a great pump upward following allowing people time to sell for profits. Just giving honest analysis here. But they are a pump scheme and should not be trusted to hold their stocks very long; that’s the main lesson to know.

It’s a SCAM. I have seen so many of their penny stocks pumped and dumped on cost of innocent people’s hard earned money. Hope SEC charges them for this fraud. This is blatant robbery in the day light. Recent pick was SWVI which they started pumping near $0.6x and now it trades at $0.1x. They should be investigated, charged and punished for this continuous fraud.

Are you kidding? If you do even the smallest bit of due diligence when investing in any of these companies you will realize right away that its a pump job. Even typing “SWVI stock” or “GOFF Corp” into google and you see all kinds of sites popping up warning you they’re pump jobs. So if a person invests into a pump job without actually bothering to research what they’re putting their money into then its their own fault if they lose out. If these peoples’ money is so hard-earned then why don’t they bother doing the smallest modicum of research when investing with it?

Stay away from Awesome stocks because the crap they are pumping is nothing even close to being awesome!
I think a company that is paid to pump garbage stocks, should be at least forced to purchase the stock after they have pumped it.
Then maybe they would think twice about pedding B.S. to decent people who are trying to make a living!

they definately pump up the stocks, watch when the say it is going to soar to .50 and possible 1.00, the resistance point is really about .30 to .35, that is when you sell because after a rise from .10 to .30 is when their cohorts sell but you stay in thinking the .50 number is real as they suggest then the stock tanks. good luck folks, you can beat them at their game but be carefull

Maybe on the very first day you might be safe if they don’t change their mind about their pick. I’ve seen APS change their mind about a pick and choose another all of a sudden. There used to be more steam behind their picks back in the day. I was in NSRS a year or two ago and they were able to keep the pump going for at least a month. But now-a-days you’re lucky if they can keep it pumped a day or two before it crashes. They take big dumps without warning and you cannot time them. The risk versus the reward is not worth it. Everyone has caught on to their game and they have lost a lot of credibility so there aren’t as many buyers to keep the stock up.

But they all go up 50-200% Dont get greedy jump in jump out and dont look back. Obviously there is a patten, PRTN, TAGG, FARE.

Invest to own, buy low sell high, never lock i oyur losses, and most importantly never invest what you can’t afford to lose . THese are the only rules you need to follow. Other than that do your own homework on the comapny you intend to invest in.

Check out the history of SNPK and NSRS, these are their earlier ones. That will give you an idea of where TAGG is headed in the near future.

    Adam says:
    November 1st, 2012 at 2:11 am

I was in some of the earlier ones like NSRS and SNPK. Have to time them right before getting in. Make sure they are climbing first before getting in. Maybe set a profit limit of 50%. The main problem with APS is that these can and will dump on you without warning. The floor will literally just drop from underneath and the stocks will dump 50% to 80% in value in a blink of an eye. You won’t have time to sell your shares because it moves so fast when it dumps. Plus everybody else is trying to sell at the same time because of panic. Usually the APS stocks will take a big dump and then start climbing again, but sometimes not. I’ve also seen some that never climb initially and just dump and then APS will move on to their next scheme. TAGG is climbing but the dump is just around the corner. Cannot climb forever.

    BJer says:
    October 31st, 2012 at 2:59 pm

I think I’ll wait for the next pump and put in a couple K the second I get the email. This is money I can afford to lose, I guess :S but I really don’t want to lose it haha.
So I think I will play very cautiously but keep compounding, whatever I gain goes back into the next pump. See where I can get to with some accelerating returns.
I’m going to go with a 30-50% gain before I pull out and max hold for 2 days. Got to set some tight ground rules so I don’t get burned. I don’t think any of these companies are worth anything in reality. So I really don’t want to be stuck with stock in a turd company.

So I will try to hold off on buying back in. Although from watching TAGG, some of these pumps last a long time!

    brett says:
    October 30th, 2012 at 5:41 pm

My advice is to get out while you’re still ahead. These stocks don’t climb forever. In fact they dump on you in a blink of an eye. The floor holding these stocks up literally just disappear without warning or notice and drop in value 50% to 80% and you won’t even have time to act. I was in some of the earlier ones NSRS and SNPK. Take a look at the history of those ones. That’s where TAGG is heading soon.

These penny stocks picks are not based on any new insider financial information at all! They are totally picked based on a promotional fee that varies in amount. The problem is that the stocks may quickly rise as people fall for the promotion and pump it up, only to dump it sometimes within a few hours or less! I have lost a significant chunk of my trading budget because I didn’t understand this fact. While sometimes the picks can get multiple promotions and soar for a while like SNPK. they inevitably dump. You would be far more likely to be making money by shorting these stocks rather than hoping to make it on the pump and dump.

They time their releases to coincide with them doing major shorting. This article was released the day AFTER PRTN took it’s big dump – PRTN was going for weeks before that, what took him so long to publish?? It’s because they publish under the guile of helping the public when they’re really just shorting the F out of it to kill the ticker and make millions. They are no better than APS.

PSR(premium stock report) = APS (Awesomepennystocks). How the hell is PSR supposed to alert members “early” to APS promos without being affiliated with APS? Also, APS advertises PSR after you sign up to their e-mailer as well as in their e-mails. If you know anything about APS is that they run the whole shabang. They own all shares of stock on anything they promo and control all their “affiliate” sites.

PRTN is their new pick, seems to be doing fine but it does not change the fact that VLNX was indeed APS and they f’d a lot of people (except for those of us who had Schwab and couldn’t trade it). PRTN has so much upwards resistance and almost nobody buying and holding anymore that I don’t see how they will continue. I would be very cautious in the future with APS or any pump and dump promoter for that matter.

Aps still hasn’t sent anything out on ctdt, and the banner on their site still has gwbu. I could be wrong and it sees big gains, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Now CTDT is at .19 cents, basically 100% gain since morning.
I bought it at .175 as it was climbing like crazy.
Let’s hope this one does well… I need to make up for GWBU :))

It was alert issued by Preferred Penny Stocks NOT APS.
I just subscribed to them last night… usually I trust APS the most but decided to see what others are out there and this one has a good rep too.

APS’s sister site, “Preferred Penny Stocks” just sent me an email with ‘SWTR’ being the new MONSTER PICK…. They did the exact same thing with ‘RARS’, so, be careful. I wouldn’t buy anything until APS puts it on their banner. As of now, they still have GWBU listed.

Ok.. Here’s my prediction.. ‘SWTR’ which has changed to ‘CTDT’ this morning is up 100% right now from Preferred Penny Stocks pumping it. Just like ‘RARS’ did, I’m thinking this stock is going to dump already tomorrow or the next day unless APS sends a newsletter out on it tonight. Then, I’m thinking once it dumps, APS will buy another big position and then finally pump it sometime tomorrow or after whenever it dumps.. They’re always changing things, so, we’ll see what happens. I think they’re just going to scare everyone out of it again and this one is going to lack volume again just like ‘GWBU’ has.

Well, just got an email from some of aps’s sister sites promoting swtr as their new pick. I wouldn’t invest until aps confirms this though. Aps still has the gwbu banner on their website. I also tried to add swtr to my watch list on scottrade and it keeps saying it’s not a valid symbol. Anyone else have this problem?

    REPLY

    Anna says:
    July 9th, 2012 at 11:24 pm

Yeah, there was a problem with the symbol in the morning.
I got the alert from Preferred Penny Stocks about SWTR and when I went to my CIBC Investor’s Edge Brokerage account, the symbol swtr could not be found.
I called to speak to a trader rep, waited on hold on hold for a while while they figured out what happened…basically, the company switched from the symbol SWTR to CTDT this morning and there was a lot of confusion about the entire stock.

I was finally able to buy it at .17 cents…after watching with extreme frustration & seeing it climb by the minute from .10,.11, .12, etc… but I had to wait until the rep sorted out all the “confusion” and placed the trade for me.

It closed at .20 cents but had I been able to buy at .10 or even .12/.13 cents…I would have sold at .20 cents by day’s end and made almost 100% profit.
As it stands, I decided to hold onto it until tomorrow and see how the day unfolds…hopefully it will be another great day.

The just sent another alert about it tonight so it’s a good sign.

Myself, I’ve invested about 10K the most and almost tripled my money once. The other times were small gains because I was too cautious.
I’ve lost a few thousand here and there due to holding on too long…but overall, I know how the game works and win more than lose.

I know someone that invests 100K each pick, takes between 10% to 20% profits and sells.
They never risk it all to try to make 500, 800, 1000% etc.
This is their only source of income and they make between 10k to 20k every month or 2 months.
LOL… I guess that’s the freedom of having 100k disposable income…wait a short time to make up to 20% gains and get out :))

They said in their emails that they are going to promote gwbu for the summer. They also said they’d retire if it doesn’t hit $2. Since gwbu is clearly dead, and it never hit $2, I’m thinking they wont be sending any emails put for about a month. Then, around the beginning of august, they’ll send an email out saying something along the line of, we were set to retire but received so many emails requesting that we stick around, that we will be back with a new pick shortly. I really don’t expect a new pick til mid august

Well, they did say they were promoting GWBU through August… I thought we’d get a new pick this month after the crash in the last couple of weeks but maybe not.

It is up over 100% over the last few days…. at the beginning of the week, it hit rock bottom at .13 cents, now it’s almost .30 cents.
I wish I’d bought it back again at .13 or .15 cents…would have doubled my money already, but I sold a couple of weeks ago, lost quite a bit on this one and am keeping some money to invest in their next pick.

Its quite a fail proof system we have actually. They tell us they are hyping the stock.. We buy in, and they work to insure we get gains. Of course they have special interest.. But as long as a few know how to play their system.. We take it to the bank. It’s also nice to know other people are doing this though.

    Foote says:
    July 1st, 2012 at 9:53 am

Tim : I completely disagree . The more people that understand , the more people that will invest , which results to better results for all of us !!! There are so many that try too dissuade others from APS . Likely due to them jumping right in and getting burned by not knowing how to play these Stock Picks . If you play your cards rite , there’s unlimited $$$ to be earned through APS . Buy Early, hold for a few weeks then sell and take substantial profits . If you Buy on day one and Sell on day 2, you lose out on the big runs later . So many get impatient and emotional and sell right away . Control yourselves, be patient and you’ll reap bigger rewards .

joe paris : I don’t think anyone received the alert on GWBU any earlier than when it was @ 1.00 . Depending the activity of the stock, volume and price when the picks are alerted, I generally will hold onto the Pick for 20 days . There is typically a huge run or 2 w/n the first 20 days, this is where you can receive substantial gains or profits .

    Anna says:

Joe, I also subscribe to pennystocksexpert.com which is run by the same people as APS.
They send out the EXACT SAME e-mails, sometimes within minutes of each other, sometimes within 1 to 2 hours of each other.

With GWBU, pennystocksexpert.com sent me the e-mail almost 2 hours earlier than APS, when it was in the mid $1.30′s.
I decided to wait for the APS e-mail just to make sure, it came almost 2 hours later when the stock was almost at $1.50 already.

I’ve recently learned from a couple of other members on this forum that when expecting a new pick, you should check the APS site… awesomepennystocks.com regularly to see if they posted their new pick’s banner on the site.
Apparently, GWBU’s banner was listed on APS website a whole day before the e-mail alerts were sent out…. THAT’S how some people got in at around $1.00.

The email alert hit me at 1.23 . Due too the volume of alerts being sent via email to hundreds of thousands of subscribers , everyone will receive there alert at different time’s .

    Anna says:
    June 28th, 2012 at 6:42 pm

That’s a wise decision Joe to take a modest 30% profit and the sell.
In GWBU’s case, it was the only prudent thing to do.

However, most of the time you miss out on a lot of gains by getting out that early… most of their stocks go up 4x or more…up to even 15x from their alert, but 3x/4x is a safe bet to stay in wih most.

GWBU was alerted to ME by penny stocks expert at mid $1.30′s and by APS mid $1.40′s. I bought at $1.475.
I hear that some people get alerted sooner, depending on where they fall on the e-mail list…some got alerted around $1.00 an you believe it? I’m not sure how exactly.

    chris says:
    June 28th, 2012 at 5:32 pm

I hope, with their next pick, they go back to their old formula. Send an alert out at around 10 cents, promote for a month, then move on. It’s getting ridiculous with them promoting these stocks for 3 months at a time. Not to mention the last 2 were alerted with a high price. Gwbu was a total bust and snpk was just ok. I think they know they need to come out with another big winner like Nsrs and potg.

Yes, Darren, it’s very frustrating. If it doesn’t go up quite a bit from where it stands now, I lost on this pick.

However, I have mostly only myself to blame. GWBU went to $1.91 one week, then reached $1.95 the following week.
Both times I didn’t sell hoping to reach the elusive $2 and beyond.
My fault, I should know that with a pick starting this high (over $1), you make a small profit and GET OUT.

Yes, I’ve had the same problem today, both with APS website AND pennystocksexpert.com which is pretty much the same people/site.

This means 1 of 2 things: Either they’re updating the website to add
some recent information about GWBU or
    their upcoming new pick.

OR… What they promised has happened… it didn’t reach $2 so they’re “retiring”.

I hope it’s the first, not the later.

Should be an interesting week for GWBU.
Supposedly, it is scheduled to rise astronomically… similar to snpk that crashed to .30 cents, then went to $2.40.

    Let’s see… keeping an open mind :)))

GWBU went down a lot today but it still has some life left in it.
It’s not the final crash yet…if it’s the final crash APS stops mentioning the pick, period.
They just sent another e-mail saying that snpk also dropped like crazy (to .30 cents) before rising to $2.40.
APS will go up again, although how high is anyone’s guess.

I’ve come up with a cute little song as a result of today’s events.
Imagine the following lyrics set to “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the musical opera Carmen:

    Don’t cry for me GWBU,
the truth is I should have sold you.
While APS pumped you, they probably dumped you,
but I was greedy, now I am needy.
I’ve learned my lesson, will wait for next pick. :))

60% lost, I am done with this kind of Penny stocks, if you saw the sales and time frame, when you getting the newsletter and buying the stocks, they started the dump already, that’s why the volume was huge but no price increase all those 30 days, eventually when they sucked all the buyers in without further potential, they just dumped the rest of the shares regardless their subs.I bet millions of ppl lost 60% on that pick and someone made at least hundreds of millions from this one.

    John,
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as though there are any. Most of them only do day trading and their picks don’t see much, if any, gains from their opening prices. Ive looked all over and found very little. The is a site, pennystockwizard that had some promise. I subscribed to them about 6 months ago and their first pick saw big gains. It was safe if you want to look it up. The covered it for about three months and I haven’t received any emails from them in about 2 months now. That was the only other site similar to aps that I found

Every day I see sometimes millions of shares traded and am surprised it doesn’t go up more.
I guess people are buying/selling, repeat, repeat, in order to make small profits.

    June 7th, 2012 at 10:25 am

I’m sure it will hit $2 today and possibly go past $3… I don’t know about $5 or $10.
I think the reason the last couple of picks have been struggling close to the initial prices is because people keep selling/buying, selling/buying over and over again to make small profits each time.

Depending on how much you invest, you could make hundreds or even thousands daily with the .15 or .20 cent daily ups & downs.
I, personally, think this is too risky and don’t do it but there are a lot of people that do that’s why the price stays constant for weeks.

You should not be buying stocks with $100. Your trade fees will be $20 or 20% of your investment. If you only have $100, I would start with lurking on craigslist for undervalued items and flipping them to make money. Come back to penny stocks when you have $2000+ that you can afford to lose.

It used to be that as soon as a pick was announced, you got in on it at the first alert and it would literally triple or quadruple within the first few days or a week.
Now, the last couple of picks, they’ve taken forever to rise….eventually they do go for a great run, but it takes weeks.

I was seriously considering selling at the end of Friday when it reached $1.91. I should have.

The trick is to monitor the site. Depending on how many people are subscribed you could get the email first one month and last the next missing a big opportunity. Check the website DAILY, as soon as that banner changes get in on it. Set yourself a stop/limit price and if you can get alerts at certain intervals .05 or .10. When you hit 80-100% gains sell. Dont be greedy, you’re technically creating a snowball effect anyways. After you sell take 25% of it and put it away, do not touch it. Why? Because of taxes, short capital gains are taxed at 25%. And by taking out your portions here and there you are saving yourself from uncle sam at the end of the year.

    Hi David,

I’m pretty new to APS too. I’ve been studying it since last summer and so far have invested in 4 picks.

The first 2 I jumped in too late without doing my homework and lost about $5k combined.
Bought 12,000 shares of POTG at .368 (it was alerted at around 3 or 4 cents). Lucky me, I bought exactly at it’s high point LOL.
Later that day it crashed and I lost most of my money.

Then I was hesitant to invest but was so excited by AMWI’s progress that I invested, too late again, 1,100 shares at $1.14.
It reached a high that day also of $1.38 before it crashed at the end of the day.
Both of these were bad judgements. With AMWI, I actually watched it go from around .11 to in the .20′s, to .54 in one day.
The day is was .54 I was going to buy, I actually had the brokerage rep on the phone to place the order and at the last minute I chickened out.
The next morning I saw it had climbed to over a $1 and decided to buy at $1.14…big mistake, it crashed after reaching $1.38.

Since then, I’ve learned how the system works and I know that it is crucial to get in at the beginning (when you get your first official APS alert), stay in for a while but to be safe never, ever, EVER stay in after the stock triples from it’s initial point.
Sure, some picks do go 10x or even 15, 20x from their initial alerts but it is rare.
The majority of them, basically ALL of them, make it to the 4x or 5x from the initial alert before crashing.
Therefore, if you set a target to double or triple your money from the initial, you will almost 100% for sure win.

I do see it going way past $2.00 Monday, possibly past $3 and possibly into next week..then I’d be very careful.

    Slim,

I have bought 4 picks so far…the first 2 (potg & amwi) I lost money…my fault, got in way too late.

My 3rd pick was snpk. Made $1300 profit, played it safe, got in at .56 sold at .673.
I played it too safe, that one went to $2.40. I could have quadrupled my money :((

My fourth is gwbu, got in at $1.475… will sell when it passes the $3 mark(hopefully).

SLIM: yes I have . In fact SNPK was my first . I have been Trading stocks and currency’s for a long time . I have followed APS since last July and researched it, analyze exactly what APS is really doing before I started to buy into there promotions . It’s a “Killer” deal really and you can make a fortune in no time if you buy in early , double your $$$ and get out . I can honestly say, APS will continue to promote GWBU until the end of the Month . They have too. There reputation is promoting the stock for well over 100% . APS is being payed a ton of cash and likely stock to do what they are doing .

    Anna,
I did the same thing with snpk. Bought at .49 and sold a week later at .65. I definitely blew that lol. Gwbu is different from their usual picks, in that it was alerted at over a dollar. I got in at 1.23 and sold at 1.60. Still a nice gain compared to other stocks. Most of their picks see a big drop after about a week, then soar. I was expecting it to blow up after the one day it dropped down to 1.10, then jumped back up to 1.50 by then end of the day. It’s still slow, so I sold last week. None the less, if they plan on promoting gwbu for a month, you have about the rest of this week before the dump begins

    Anna says:
    May 28th, 2012 at 11:14 pm

    MATT,

You may be right. There seems to be not much movement on GWBU.
I should have sold last week when it reached $1.73 and taken about $1500 profit.
If it reaches in the $1.70′s again I may just sell and wait for the next pick.

I really, really regret not holding onto SNPK longer.
Bought 12000 shares on March 9th at .56 sold on March 14th at .673 for a $1300 profit.
Then it went to $2.40 in the next few weeks… I could have QUADRUPLED my money. AHHHHH :))

    Matt says:
    May 28th, 2012 at 6:31 pm

    Anna,
I wouldn’t count on it to get that high, few aps picks do. 7000 shares at 1.47 is a lot of money to gamble on a stock you know is destined to plummet sooner or later. So far, it seems like this will be a pick they cover for just 1 month, meaning that right around week 3 is where the stock dies. We’re 2 weeks in, giving it just a few more trading days. If it were me, I’d hope gwbu gets up to the 1.60-1.70 range and book the 10-15% profits. Just remember, there’s always another pick around the corner

    The Real James says:
    May 27th, 2012 at 3:54 am

Get out while you’re still breaking even. I don’t see this pick making anything more.. Even if it makes it to the $2 mark.. Idk how much you have in on it.. but if you had $1000 investment @ $1.48 you’re only making it out on top with $350.. and while that’s still good.. It’s just not worth the risk. After my own research with APS $2.00 is really pushing the envelope.

    Anna says:
    May 26th, 2012 at 11:33 am

Awesome penny stocks is a very good way of making money invest in there picks they always go good keep them for about 30 days then sell , also watch the stock like a hawk and don’t sell just because it’s going down a Lil stocks fluctuate frequently keep your selling price (ask) always one cent above the buying price offer (bid) this way the stock goes higher and you make more money unless the stock is down A LOT don’t match the bids your just desperate to sell , it is normal for the price to go up and down 25% in minutes don’t be stupid and just sell because it dropped slightly just wait till it goes up , these stocks are held for. Unless its going down a lot Keep it for ,30-45 days they are not pump and dumps

I have made millions on awesome penny stocks starting with $5 thousand in 2011, just time it right and watch your investment and you will be making money you have never seen before

I totally agree, if you check the pattern of APS, by the time you get the email for their “recommendations” or “Monster Picks” look at the stock charts for that particular stock over a 5d or 3m period and you will notice that the price would have already spiked, by the time you buy in. Leaving you with the shaft when they sell their stock in mass quantity causing the price to plummet after you bought in at the high rate. Yes, if you are in the know and were able to get this stock GWBU about a week ago, you would make a very good profit. Unfortunately this is not the case. Yes I’m sure there are some who do come away with some legit profit off of these recommendations. But I found out the hard way with SNPK where they predicted this stock would hit $9.00…..YEAH RIGHT!! My advice is to check the stock history charts and watch it a day or two before buying.

When aps pulled that move with awsr, they took it back a few hours later. It’s tough to trust these guys, but they do appear to be on board with RARS

I guess the best case scenario would be to invest $1000
Let it go up 5x to $5000.
Next pick, invest the $5000, let it go up 5x to $25000
Next pick, invest $25000, let it go up to $125000
The pick after that, invest $125000
    Double it to $250000
Next pick double it to $500000
Next pick double it to $1Million

This could take just over 1 year or just under 1 year, depending on how often they release new picks.
Also, you have to get in at the beginning and be “lucky” that all their picks will go up 5 or more times before crashing.

I have been watching APS for about 3-4 months now. I did my research and crunched the numbers. I’m also new to trading. Usually the dump side of their scheme start at the $2 range. The object is to get in early and sell before that. $1.10 sounds like a safe sell zone. Don’t get in after $1 and sell before $1.60. Example: getting in on their initial alert @30-40 cents and selling at 80-90 cents with a $500 investment gets you roughly $500 or more in profits. Not bad for just sitting on your ass playing minesweeper all day. Do your research.. I cannot stress this enough! This is obviously making smart people richer, and greedy people are losing out because they have their eyes set on the “$5-10 target price”. Let me tell you something, APS isn’t going to publicly say we’ll sell out at $2… It’s not rocket science. I’m sure right now they are working on their next deal, and we’ll get the newsletter alert soon. Happy trading.

Ride the pump get out before the dump!
SNPK was awesome, even know I did not get in right away, I think I got lucky. APS has gone silent, do they usually pump up the announcement coming up or do you just get an alert out of the blue?

    Anthony Taubenkrau says:
    May 9th, 2012 at 10:30 am

    You nailed it.

Don’t use any money you can’t afford to lose on a APS play. Once you put that money in your brokerage account, write it off.

Next, wait for the APS promo and BUY!

Then, when it hits the $1-$1.50 range (depending on your level of greed/risk)…SELL.

BTW, from the time you get in until the time you get out, the APS play will “shake out” many scared and timid investors. There will be a “press release” with horrible news that will cause an immediate drop in price and scare out retail investors. There will also be other manipulations that can only occur on the OTC stocks they tout…

Have a plan and execute, do your own research and Due Diligence.

You’re right. I like to call it riding the scam.. It’s obviously a pump and dump.. We all know that. If anyone invested in APS’s picks before checking out their track record.. I’m sorry to say, but they are dumb. Always do your research like pog said.. It doesn’t take any time to check the charts. I made $10,000 on snpk. Reason I ask is because when the email comes out and I go in to make my purchase on E-Trade, my order never gets filled and even when I keep raising my “buy” price as the price is climbing, my order takes forever to get filled therefore I miss out on the upswing and by the time I get in, I paid the high price. So what’s the best platform and technique to use to have your order filled quickly?? That is key!

first there is a difference between the ticker quote and what you will get the buy or sell for. If you look at otcmarkets.com and see the quote right below the quote it tells you the last ask/bid was. You will fill your request according to the last bid. Sometimes the changes come fast so that withstanding you should get the buy or sell that way.

And when I see it go over a dollar sometimes, I sell the rest of my shares and short sell the stock to make money when it gets dumped, but I only use what I made to short it because you never know how long they will pump it,even though it usually get dumped somewhere around a dollar. When you are buying a penny stock like this one, that has just been released to the world :), you must realize who is selling their stock while we are buying. Most often it is an IPO, where SNPK is getting the proceeds from selling their stock.
Next you need see if any one person or company is buying in bulk.
The initial purchased over a few days will drive up the stock value.
In most cases if someone has bought in bulk, they will sell off most of their holdings, when they have hit their profit point. Today is a sell off day, if you look at the trades at 11:01 am, either someone or a group of people sold their stock? This was the prelude to the drop today. Will the stock recover; your guess is as good as mine.
Just be aware that those buying in bulk have their motive, mostly greed and profits.
My question is Awesome Penny a company or person like this, do they locate a good company and then push up the stock, only to take profits before suggesting that the stock is going to move even higher.

At this time the stock has levelled out. lets see what the next few days bring, if you notice since 11;27 am, people are starting to buy back in, is this too late? Will the stock recover?
    Let me know your thoughts.

main reasons for your stop loss wont proceed through is because there aren’t many buyers .. and everyone wants to sell their shares .. so, ur pretty much screwed … for example, at the ask there are 10000 shares and at the bid side there are 120000 shares … everyone is trying to sell and only one person is trying to buy … hope that helps a little bit …

    d says:

C, it will not recover to its former pre-dump level, ie., $2.38. Just my opinion having studied their previous promotions. In fact, it’s just going to go down further, with the odd bounce here and there. If anything, now you just want to day trade it, but his can be risky as well…got to stay glued to your computer and watch what’s happening minute by minute.

You couldn’t put a stop loss on SNPK because its a pink slip. A penny stock is a stock that trades under $5.00 and not all of them are pink slips so you are able to protect yourself on some of them. Either way penny stocks move up or down really fast and stop loss will most likely end up dumping the stock in one of its dips right before it shoots right back up so I just watch them and buy and sell them as they move. You can make more money by buying and selling than buying and holding with a stop loss because 99.9% of the time penny stocks rise really fast and after a bit TANK! sometimes even at lower levels than they were before the run. I still believe that if you watch these stocks and day trade them as they move there is a lot of money to be made. Just got to be careful.
    Good Luck.

Look — APS is what it is: a pump and dump. Get in early, and I mean on opening day, preferably at the opening bell. Half the doubling run up can be on the first day!

I have been with APS for about a year, and cannot remember a penny that did not double. Greed kills. When you hit your double, sell and get out, ie, get in with the pump and get out before the dump.

APS used to churn about one stock a month. Lately they’ve been holding onto stuff for longer. For instance, SNPK is now into its second month as I write this.

Get in at X, sell at 2X. Take profit. Then plow the proceeds into the next penny, rinse and repeat. The boring part is then drumming your fingers on the desk patiently waiting for the present pump/dump cycle to exhaust itself so they can move on. Think of locusts moving from one crop field to another, eating everything in its path. I have never lost money on a APS penny. Again, greed kills.

APS knows this and then act like they are trying to save you when they to know all about it to begin with !! Do alot of research about how all this works before doing a damn thing !! My answer is simple: Don’t get greedy!!

The biggest problem with most of you is that you get greedy!! You simply forget that you haven’t earned the actual profit yet!!

For instance, if you buy in at .35 and now the stock is trading at .83 DO NOT WAIT !!!!SELL SELL SELL!!!!

That’s more than double your investment, it doesn’t take Warren Buffet to make that decision!!!

I would have to agree with you their. Most traders hold onto these penny stocks too long and end up falling for the old pump and dump routine. I got burned my first time by getting too greedy, but learned my lesson and began to profit off of these promoted penny stocks.

Awesome Penny Stocks picks can be very profitable. First of all, you need to buy as soon as the email comes out, not 3 days later. Personally, I buy right after the alert and then sell and the end of the day. These things usually run for much longer than that, but I like to lock in profits and then buy the dips the second day.

Penny stocks, even promoted penny stocks, can be profitable. They are also VERY risky. You must do your research and learn how this game works or you will get burned big time. Don’t hold pennies too long. Do not believe that a 7 cent stock is going to $10 in 3 weeks because a free newsletter told you so. It’s not going to happen.Don’t get greedy and lock in profits!

It’s not rocket science people. They buy emails through search advertising and other channels. Nothing wrong there– people willingly sign-up/opt-in. They build big lists for the variety of newsletters they publish. Companies (or shells of companies) come to them to help them “boost” value– and they send “exclusive” announcements to their email lists. At first, the stocks do jump because of their sheer reach. Is it illegal? Not really…as it’s pretty much pure marketing. Is it ethical? Not at all. Can you make money off of their recommendations? Guess it depends on how early you act.

    Which stock did you buy?
Most of their stocks do really well and go up from a few cents to under $2.

I, myself, have lost about $5000 so far, on 2 stocks.

The first one (POTG) I bought too late in the game… at .368 cents and then it crashed to .07 cents.
The second one (AMWI) I got in too late also. Bought at $1.14.
A few hours later it crashed to .26 cents.

Both of these losses were my fault. I didn’t buy at the initial alert, hesitated, then got impulsive and bought too late, when they had risen too much.

I was too busy and missed the initial alert for NSRS. I really regret not buying that one. It was a goldmine, went from .07 to $1.79

I bought 12,000 shares of their current pick SNPK right after their initial alert. I bought at .56 cents and after not seeing much of an increase over a couple of days, I sold at .67….over $1300 profit.
This stock is not much of a mover, kind of a dud but I’m happy I made a profit.

I’m happy, happy, happy…waiting for the next goldmine.

My experience with APS started with the excitement over AMWI and my friend and I invested and watched the numbers go from $0.65 to $1.29 within hours, and then tumble down to $0.10 on the news of a lawsuit. APS still hyped the stock as being strong enough for a comeback and we’re still waiting for that dream. The problem I have with them is that they then switched gears and got hot on NSRS and said that it might do as well as there last pick, and it too has been a dismal failure. Now they say to get excited over SNPK, and that it might be as fast a climber as their other picks. They dont have a good recent track record of picks to be proud of and anyone new to their site might just be fooled into thinking they do. Its sad that sites like that exist to help out the fly by night stocks, and in the end it is buyer beware. I agree with others who have posted to get in early and leave early with these picks, and make your money a little at a time. Best of Luck to all.

Please remember that every single stock out there has risen at some point and if they pick a stock that goes from $0.10 to $0.102 yes it has risen but that doesn’t mean that you are going to make any real money on it and when that stock is claimed by their “experience” to be a likely candidate to climb to $5.00 like stock XYZ did years ago, they are misleading you (especially when their disclaimer states that they are not experts in the field and take money from the same companies they report on)

I don’t remember the symbol as I wasn’t trading their picks at the time, but I think it was in December of 2010. I’ve been on their email list for around 10 years now. Yes, some do lose money or fail to go up much, if at all. Here’s what I have to say to those who say it is a scam.

It is not a scam. I’ve been on the list a long time. I would appreciate it if the next person who says it is a scam would please also post their notes from the last 12 alerts with prices for the daily highs and lows, opens and closes for the 30 days following the alert, as well as the price when the alert went out and what the price was at 15 minute intervals for the three hours following the initial alert.

Before you trade any system you should first paper trade and keep such records for at least six months. My instinct tells me that none of these people have actually done that.

I would advise you to get in before APS starts the flood of email which I expect to happen next week Tuesday or Thursday. Whatever you do, DON’T hold it for a long period of time. Bottom line is learn and watch what is happening for a while in the Penny Stock arena. Go to a place like stockhaven and understand all you can about trading penny stocks. You can make huge profits and huge losses. Don’t think that you can just one day start trading and only make money because someone said that something is going to the moon. If you have never made 20 or 40% in a year in your investment portfolio then don’t set a goal to make 500% in 3 weeks. If you follow a system after you have learned the basics of trading and money management then you can start to trade and make money. You worked hard for your $$ so don’t blow it without educating yourself. Penny stocks, when understood and invested with a real plan can be EXTREMELY lucrative. Just know that 99% of the time that an Awesome Penny pic or any other Promotion is going to go up and then come down. Get in early and then take profits along the way. Have predefined exits with a stoploss. In my opinion APS is the best when you know what you are doing.

I’ve also been following Awesome Penny Stocks for over a year, plus a bunch of others. I’ve recorded their performance on stock pics and I think the idea behind most ‘penny stock sites’ is that they buy the stock before hand, recommend it to a bunch of others and sell the stock when it is way ‘overvalued’, plus they get money from promoting the stock. Another problem with pinksheets and OTCBB markets are that they are not regulated (well OTCBB has to file with SEC minimum standards which is slightly better than pinksheets). Nonetheless, Awesome Penny Stocks stock picks have generally had a huge impact on the underlying stock prices and you can make money if you’re in early enough and get out early enough before the stock is ‘dumped’. Also check out that the trading volumes are sufficient enough so you can retreat your position – I’ve lost too many times being not able to sell my stock when in-the-money due to low trading volumes! I’m trying to figure out a way to get to these stocks before they are promoted or then ill set up my own ‘stock recommendation’ website lol.

What I am not sure of is how EXACTLY do I do that. Can I place a “stop loss” in at the same time that I buy? I’m not clear on the difference between a “stop loss” and a “trailer”.

I’m on West Coast time and work a 9-5, so there is NO way I can sit at my desk and watch stocks all day. So I think what I want is a “trailer”? When I make my purchase, I want to “SELL” as soon as the stock starts to drop….say…..5 cents. Could someone please advise? Thanks in advance : )LL

It usually takes about a month for it to go past a dollar, but in most cases they get dumped the same day they break the dollar mark. Just to be safe I always have a stop loss to lock in profits and use my iphone app to tell me every time it rises or drops .10 ten cents. (App is call stock alerts). My advice is never buy it once it gets dumped even though the alerts will give you some lame excuse why it got dumped and will keep telling you to buy or hold your position. ;)

TD Ameritrade does not offer stock trading with stocks in the OTC., OB., and PK.. These are international stock exchanges and are extremely volatile, and have little regulations. They do not have to file income and such reports. Be careful.

Unfortunately the grand majority of micro-caps are hole in the wall companies. Yes, there is a lot of manipulation in the OTC Market. Fortunately, I am not the one doing it.

As a buyer, you can still make money even if you have suspicions that the company is not legitimate. (There are so many of them, it is realistically impossible to be a trader and avoid them). Unfortunately, most all of the stocks in the penny stock world have been promoted at one time or another. This is not the buyer’s fault. Also, why isn’t it just as wrong for Jim Cramer on CNN? Why is it ok for Coca Cola to be advertised and not for a stock? Get a clue, guys!

Just like -everything else- in life, there is a learning curve. Yes, you can lose money -at first-. But you can make money. There are a lot of people who have made lots of money on penny stocks, even though most of them are virtual. Look up Timothy Sykes. What it takes is -self control- . If someone places 20,000 on their FIRST TRADE with NO EXPERIENCE, they are SETTING THEMSELVES UP FOR DISASTER. THEY HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT THEMSELVES. In fact, I think APS is would have ended up helping this person because if they happened to accidentally buy at the “right time” they may have quadrupled their money instead of losing it in other securities, that may have even been absolutely legitimate.

BUT DON’T PUT 20,000 ON A STOCK. USE ONLY MONEY THAT YOU WOULD BE OK WITH LOSING!!!

Billy there is no way you bought at .07 specially 50k worth. That is just ridiculous, If you had stated .14-.20 I maybe (big maybe) believe you. Even still in 8 trades you don’t become a millionaire. The PPS was way higher when the emails came out.
You can make ton of money from APS of course, but you can’t be greedy as this is where people tend to lose money, you must sell on strength.

    'Bobby says:

I’m with you Billy, the problem is people get greedy and want more money and sit there hoping the stock will rebound, take the profits and be happy. People you have to think of it as you are getting on a fast moving train (buy)…and the train (stock)is going to crash…you have to get off before (sell) the train crashes, and believe me …the train is going to crash.
I traded commodities and believe me this is much easier.
So, if you don’t get greedy and make a plan on how mush you want to make. Be happy with the profit you made and just wait for the next stock tip and make more money, more money, more money. Just jump off the train before it crashes. I’m new to Awesome Penny Stocks, but paper traded for 3 months now ready to jump in. I wonder what happen to the stock alert that was suppose to come out on March 1st.

I agree do not invest in NSRS right now. It may be doing very well right now but it can go South very quick. I learned that the hard way with AMWI and lost most of my money. So please don’t get burned by investing so late in the game. It’s best to wait for the next initial pick and invest then. You will have a better chance of making decent money as long as you don’t stay in too long.

Awesome Penny Stocks is so easy to make a huge profit! Yes. It IS a pump and dump. How else does a stock go up 1,000% in a month?!? Look at all of their last picks.. NSRS, AMWI, MILV.. They all go from under 10 cents to over a dollar in about a month! All you have to do is buy in when you get their first email, and then sell after a few weeks. Easy way to quadruple your money. Just don’t get greedy and hold for too long! I had a friend who was up thousands of dollars in AMWI, but he held for too long and lost it all when it crashed, now it’s worthless. Just buy in IMMEDIATELY and don’t get too greedy! The picks usually last around a month. EASY MONEY!! Everyone that says this is some sort of scam or says it’s “just a pump and dump” is so stupid for not seeing how they can tag along with APS and make a fortune! PUMP AND DUMP AND MAKE MONEY!!

This is an awesome newsletter, I’ve made so much more money with APS than doing my own research on stocks that take months, sometimes years to return decent gains. You have to be smart about investing with APS. If you hold too long you will get burned. Get in early and get out, otherwise you will lose money when the shares are dumped. In six months I’ve turned $1,200 into $20,000 with APS picks. NSRS hasn’t disappointed either. I bought at $.21 and sold at $.55, more than doubled my money and got out. Currently it is trading in the $1.20 range and my guess is will be dumped within the next week. My suggestion is to GET OUT if you’re still holding.

No different than kramer pumping stocks on cnn money The thing is that penny stocks are so volatile. They are risky. Technically what they do isn’t a scam. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything. Use your head and be smart. They key is, the larger amounts you invest, the shorter you stay in. The least, the longer.

    Buyer Beware.

I have subscribed to their email alerts for about a year now. Never took action on any of their recommendations until NSRS. Their disclaimers are certainly warning flags, and it definitely has the feel of a “pump & dump” — but that does not mean that the stocks are illegitimate, or that you can’t make any money on them.

I decided to take the plunge as soon as I got their first alert on NSRS back on 12/27/11. By the time I was able to take action on the alert (about 1 hour after they had send their email) – the stock was at .20. Well – since I was hesitant, I bought a whopping 1,000 shares. So, I was in for $208.95 (with commission). I kept an eye on it, as others were buying in. Those who get in early can make money. I watched it until it hit .48, and sold out, getting $471.05 (with commission). So, I did in fact make $262.10 — a return of 125%. I regret not keeping it until the close-to-.90 price – but, you’ve got to be content with what you can make out of it.

A couple things to keep in mind:

    1. You need to jump in as soon as the alert is given, if you want to. I actually have a text message sent to me whenever they send out an alert.

    2. You need to only “invest” what you are comfortable losing completely. Or at least, won’t sting as much.

    3. You need to use limit orders only! Check the quotes on your trading platform and / or OTCBB.com, and pick a price near the trading range, and place the order. NEVER use market orders. You have no control, if it is trading wildly. If you miss the mark with your limit order, you can always change it, or stop altogether.

    4. Pick a reasonable return & target price, and then get out! When I saw it nearing .50, I thought a 100% return was enough, put in a LIMIT ORDER for .48, and it was sold. Profit made. Now – you’re done! No matter what other emails you might get, it’s best to stay out! Need to stay disciplined on this. I did have second thoughts, after seeing it run up into the .80′s, but I still made money!

I’m going to wait now until their next recommendation, and try out my strategy again. But this time, I’m going to use my profits from this trade! That way, I’m not using my original capital. We’ll see what happens!

Remember: AwesomePennyStocks are risky. They are compensated for their recommendations. They may have bought thousands — even millions — of shares at extremely low prices, before they even made their recommendation. So, they really are in it for themselves. But, if there is a good run, you may be able to get in on the ride for awhile. Just don’t get too excited. And don’t listen to any of their research — do the research yourself. Also, don’t follow their Technical Analysis — it isn’t worth anything with a high-flying penny stock.

Hope this helps! I have been saving every report on NSRS that they have sent out, so that I can track what they say & when they say it. It has been fun to look at it, though!

    Just remember: Buyer Beware!

This sounds like a hustle. Feels like they are prepping the market for something big. Feels like they are building confidence with these numerous small gains and will build up a large base of buyers who will at some point be very confident of a gain with their picks. Feels like they will then have an amazing opportunity that can’t be passed up. Lots of people will be ready to pump their money in and the sellers will get rich in one play. Just my thoughts on it.

I have proof because they ripped me off with one of their recommendations on AMWI. They were in fact paid 15,000 Euros by AMWI owned by Tangeria Foundation to promote their stock as a deal to buy. Oddly enough when enough of the stcoks were sold to the public the Tangeria Foundation along with AwesomePennyStocks.Com sold all their stocks causing the value to crash on all it’s investors.

As the author of the main article above said, that APS.com and the third company will sell and cause the stock to crash. I have seen that happen in the last three picks. But, I have also seen very large gains in the three as well. So the trick is to sell before they sell. Now whether they are a scam or not, that remains to be seen. But even if they are, if you can sell before they can, then you can scam them right back.

Its just a ploy to prevent you from selling your shares. You need to get in and out as soon as you made a decent profit. You wait to long and you will lose a lot of money when these promoters sell.

This site seems very dangerous. The AMWI pick did go very well for me, but had I not put the limit sell at .50, I don’t know if I’d have had this good profit. I’ve never done %165 up in a few days before! I got in at .19 with about $50, got out with $117. Not too shabby! It seems to me penny’s are manipulated so easily that a popular “free” newsletter with this much hype is going to affect these prices big time. Pump and dump sounds about right.

Definitely gambling! I think I’ll try it again in the future, but I’m certainly never going to throw an entire bank roll on the line based on a website paid to promote stocks. I’d suggest betting small rolls and putting in stops if your broker allows. Do research on their picks while you’re at it as well. Make sure the news isn’t written by them!

I must admit, you have to play this right. I got a little frustrated with some on early positions that I got in too late and held too long. Ended up loosing on those. But learned about timing and have profited every time since.

Most reviews here have no idea what they are talking about. It’s all amateur reviews. I have made money with this free newsletter. Stocks that increase 100% or more in a very short period of time is due to either a short squeeze or speculators who quickly take their profits. That is not a pump and dump, it’s just the company hasn’t made it onto investors (long term holders) screens because of a poor balance sheet. If you don’t know the first thing about trading stocks of course you will feel burned by not selling in time then blame the newsletter. If a stock doubles or triples in a short time it’s time to sell, period. Take responsibilty for your own education. AwesomePennyStocks is not a scam, they use technical Analysis.

I have received a lot of their e-mails.I put them into my delete file in order to look at them at a later time. I was able to check their previous recomendations and found every one of them did not live up to their glowing recomendations.

If you want do get into legitimate short term investing try the options market.Baron’s (part of WSJ publications) financial news listed options that doubled in value within a week’s time. There is a site I think called Optionsxpress that is on line. You can learn how options work and even practice on one of the sites they have.

An option is a sort of right to either buy or sell a stock at a certain price. One option represents 100 shares of stock. They can sellfor as low as 1/16th of a dollar times 100. In other words .0625 cents times 100 which equals $6.25. Computers have now made it possible to buy them for .05 times 100 which equals $5.00. Options represent almost every stock issued in the market. Check it out, I think you will be impressed.

Yes they did move up if you got in early, but they always say it is going to go up to a dollar or more.

Tell your family tell you cousins, tell your friends, I’m sure glad I didn’t cause sure it takes a little run then comes crashing down.

The on line brokerage company I am using will not let me put in a stop loss on these pink sheet stocks, so when I get home from work it has crashed down, too late, oh well, another lesson learned

It is a scam big time,
They say the last stocks they recommended made 500%, I have yet to see that for my self as by the time they send the email out it has already gone up a bunch.
All they are doing is manipulating the market to make a lot of money at our expense

The key to making money with their picks is to pick what they recommend, then set a conservative amount you want to make and then get out. I set my goal at 40-50%. I buy as SOON as they recommend. 2-4 days later it pops and I’m out. i don’t wait for it to go to “$1.00″ cause it won’t. It took me a few times to figure this out. It is a pump and dump, but why not be part of it and make quick money?

This company is definately a pump and dump scam.

    Want proof
    Do this
Look up all of the last 10 picks from this company
All of the companies are lower or equal to their beginning price when they came out.
They all experienced a rapid increase in price for a very small amount of time.
    What does that tell you

More proof. Look up potg.Pk and milv.Pk the last 2 companies picked
Both companies pr’d false documents, some ranging from 1986 (potg’s land report for the land they bought in peru)
Also pr’d documentation with “disclaimers” at the bottom that basically said they were full of ****

I’ve made a great fortune as a micro investor playing the pennies. I have my outlook with a “rule” on any and all new messages that come in from AwesomePennyStock.com. “WHY” you ask!??! because I’m pretty damn sure that $5000 purchased at .07/share and sold within 10 minutes of entering into that position at a limit price of .14/share just bumped my account upto a nice cool and easy $10k. Anyone knocking the newsletter is doing so because they aren’t playing it right. DONT BE GREEDY.

purchase at the second you get the email and then sell ALL of your position once it about .50 cents or so. Obviously the reason the stock is going up is because the newsletter, thats why it’s great. We all know theres about one or twice a month we get to make good cash for no good reason at all. You think the company your buying the stock of is all of a sudden ahead of Earnings which is why the volume and price and spiked over 500%. Hell no, it’s the short term investor waiting for the next email to come out and swoop in for a quick buck.

Of course the stock is gonna crash, people are stupid if they think its a long term hold!!!! most micros are startup/development companies. They have no market and most are net loss balancecs for the first few years. People, don’t be stupid here. Be smart, play it right and you could make an easy living of this. Jacqueline, companies have to file forms with the SEC a government agency. When you want to research a stock go yo yahoo finance.com and click on SEC filings put in the stock symbol you want and an 8k or a 10k form appears this tells the finance situation of the company. I checked portage resources (potg) that awesome penny stocks was hyping and the report said that it was pre-exploration gold mining company, which means that they are not even digging holes yet and that they were in trouble, finding money to survive. If you look in the yahoo summary of the company they claim that they are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Always check the sec filings, these companies have to file a form by law.

Why would you “invest” thousands of dollars if you can’t afford it? I play with penny stocks (keyword being play), with just a couple hundred dollars at a time. It’s like going to the casino without leaving my home. Besides, I would blow that much in a weekend with my wife and kids. I don’t think this is a scam, unless you let yourself be duped. And, if you get duped, you probably did it to yourself (that is the cynic in me). There is no free ride, something for nothing, or too good to be true. If you gain, great! I’m happy for you. If you lose, claim it on your taxes and move on. I’ve done both.

I don’t think so, they either are paid to hype the stock or they buy the stock for a few cents and hype for all they can get then in the blink of the eye they sell it off with a 50% loss in one day, then they wait for the bargain hunters to come in to bloat a worthless stock back up then they do it again. For the most part penny stocks are a bad investment, stay away from them.

POTG actually gained almost 1,000% before it dropped off the charts. If you know how to read charts, volume, momentum, sec filling reports etc. It can be a great way to make a quick dollar or two. Once again though like you said they get paid to represent the company and advertise for them. So just watch your stocks sell when in the green, do not get greedy, and use a tight stop loss when trading. If you do these steps along with your research you will be fine.

Be smart as soonest they post a stock BUY it wait a couple of hours maybe a day or two and sellit, you wouldn’t make much money but you will make money and not loose it for sure. The more you buy the more you gain. The penny stocks that they tell you to buy are not long time investment stock they are quick money money makers some might go up and stay up but most wouldn’t.

There are many stocks with share prices in the dollar range and a market cap of over a few hundred million dollars, sometimes even equivalent a mid cap in the price of their market valuation.
