Springboard America Reviews – Legit or Scam?

January 13th, 2012  |  Published in Paid Surveys

Springboard America is a subsidiary of Vision Critical, a global research firm, which pays its members for taking online surveys and providing them with relevant market insight.

Signing up with Springboard America is free and you are immediately able to receive survey invitations for which you can earn Survey Dollars. Survey Dollars can be redeemed for a check, or, if you choose, can be put toward a charitable donation.

In addition to Survey Dollars, Springboard America offers its members entry into prize drawings, where they can earn cash prizes. Just for becoming a member, you will automatically be entered into a drawing for $1000.

Earning Money with Market Research

Earning money with market research is one of the oldest and most popular ways to make money online. However, anyone with experience in market research knows that it is generally a way to make some extra money, not to replace your day job.

The surveys at Springboard America pay anywhere between 50 cents and $5.00, and you can typically expect to receive 1 – 4 survey invitations every month. Also, in order to stay an active member, you must complete at least 1 survey every three months.

In addition, each survey invitation is only good for a particular period of time, and it is different for each survey. So it is important to pay close attention to your email, in order to make sure that you can take as many surveys as possible.

What to Know About Springboard America

Springboard America has few requirements to participate with their online surveys. First, you must be a US citizen and you must be over 14 years old. You also cannot work in the market research field.

Also, though Springboard America lets you choose whether to request a check or to make a charitable donation when you reach your payout amount. Unfortunately, the payout amount is $50.

$50 is considered a high payout amount in the market research industry. It can take a long time to earn that amount of money when you are only receiving a few dollars per survey. Some people may become frustrated and quit before they ever reach their payout.

If you’re interested in doing market research for Springboard America, just keep in mind that you may need to participate for long periods of time before you’ll receive compensation.

SurveyPayday.com Reviews – Legit or Scam?

January 11th, 2012  |  Published in Paid Surveys

SurveyPayday.com is a paid surveys website which claims to help people earn as much money as they want, working from home, on their own schedule.

In addition to taking online surveys, when you sign up with Survey Payday, you will also be given access to the Online Home Writer, which claims to provide you with online writing guides and access to online freelance writing jobs.

You will also be given access to eJobs Online, which says it can help you find the online job which best fits you and where you can earn even more money online.

Signing up at SurveyPayday.com normally costs $68.00, but they currently have a 50% coupon special, so you can sign up for $34.00.

Making Money With Online Surveys

Getting paid to take online surveys is one of the oldest and most popular methods of making money online. Generally speaking, it is a method best used to earn supplemental monthly income.

It is difficult to replace a full time job with taking online surveys because the surveys themselves pay only a couple dollars a piece traditionally, and because you will not qualify for every survey that is offered.

Another good rule of thumb when evaluating online survey companies is to see whether or not they offer free membership. You should not have to pay to take online surveys, as you are providing a service for the company that they receive compensation for.

The Bottom Line

SurveyPayday.com both claims that you can make a full time living from taking online surveys and charges you to become a member of their service. As mentioned before, this is a bad sign.

However, it is a little more difficult to evaluate Survey Payday as a standard market research site, as they also claim to help you secure freelance writing jobs and other types of online work.

Fortunately, Survey Payday is also a Clickbank product, which means that if you sign up for it and are unhappy with what you receive, you have 60 days to request a no questions asked refund and receive your money back.

US Consumer Opinion Reviews – Legit or Scam?

December 8th, 2011  |  Published in Paid Surveys

US Consumer Opinion is a new market research website which gives its members two different ways to earn benefits: either by completing surveys or by testing new products.

In exchange for completing surveys, you will earn money, and the amount will depend on the specific survey that you complete. When you test new products, however, you will not earn money, but rather you will get to keep the product you have tested for free.

In order to sign up with US Consumer Opinion, you simply need to give them your name and email address. There is no sign up or membership fee to get started, and you will qualify to take a $30 survey just for signing up.

What You Should Know

After you sign up with US Consumer Opinion, you have to go through a series of screens which ask what market research companies you’d like to sign up with. The top of the page informs you to “Tick the box next to each one for $$$.”

Except only some of the options you can check are actually survey companies. Others are simply boxes saying that you agree to release your contact information to various companies and services so that they may contact you.

Unless you are actually interested in receiving information from the companies listed, you should pay close attention to what boxes you are checking.

As for your $30 sign up survey, you are required to sign up at either a penny auction website or an online dating website in order to take your survey. Signing up at either one of these types of websites often requires a fee, so be cautious if they ask for your credit card number for any reason.

Evaluating Market Research Companies

When trying to earn money with market research companies, there are a few things you should know. First, they should not require a sign up fee. Market research companies are paid by those who want the information from the surveys, not those who take the surveys.

Also, legitimate market research companies require you to fill out extensive questionnaires. These questionnaires will be used to determine whether or not you qualify for a particular survey. Being disqualified in the middle of taking a survey is very frustrating, so be as honest as possible when filling out this information.

Finally, most market research companies require you to reach a specific level of payout before you can collect your money. Check to make sure this level is not too high – $25 or lower seems to be common.

Anything higher is not good, because there is a chance you could become frustrated and want to quit before collecting your money. Keep all these things in mind when looking at the research companies suggested by US Consumer Opinion.

Paid Surveys Authority Reviews – Legit or Scam?

October 11th, 2011  |  Published in Paid Surveys

The Paid Surveys Authority (www.PaidSurveysAuthority.org) is a new paid surveys website from Dan Brock, just launched this morning, at 9 am EST, and is currently available for new members to join.

The market research industry is one of the most popular methods of making money from home. It requires no particular skills and anyone can earn extra income each month by simply answering questions with your own personal opinions.

Most surveys only pay a very small amount of money for completion, often times between $1-$5. Considering that most surveys take between 5 and 15 minutes, this is a reasonable amount of money.

But it is difficult to qualify for every single survey available to you, so usually people just make money taking surveys as supplemental income, not to replace their day job. Paid Surveys Authority, however, says their company is different.

What Makes PaidSurveysAuthority.org Different?

According to Brock, Paid Surveys Authority will teach you how to safely and properly make money with paid surveys, as well as give you direct access to a database of the highest paying survey offers.

The website says the market research industry has a serious problem with fraud. People defraud the market research companies by having programs take surveys for them, or by lying to qualify for surveys, which makes the results unusable for companies paying for the research.

In addition, many market research companies have been accused of failing to pay their survey takers or by “disqualifying” survey takers in the last couple questions of a survey so they don’t have to pay them for their time.

Paid Surveys Authority claims that they have personally guaranteed these market research companies that real people will be taking their surveys in exchange for a higher payout fee than other market research companies. They also promise that they only work with companies with a respectable history of paying their survey takers.

In addition, after the launch, members will get a chance to vote on the survey companies they complete surveys for. If enough members have a negative experience with that company, Paid Surveys Authority will remove them from the database.

The Bottom Line

Well, Paid Surveys Authority seems to be speaking a good game, but since they only launched today there is no real way yet to tell if they will follow through with what they say.

In general, the rule with market research is that you should never have to pay to join a market research company, but Paid Surveys Authority is charging an upfront fee of $37.00, along with optional upgrades and other upsell options which could result in lots more money being spent.

They are a ClickBank product, though, so if you sign up for their program and aren’t happy with the product you receive, you do have the ability to get a 60 day, no questions asked refund.
