GrabSwag.com Reviews – Legit or Scam?

GrabSwag.com is a popular new penny auction site online. Penny auctions are unique auction websites which claim users can win expensive, in demand items for extremely low prices.
In order to participate at Grab Swag or any other penny auction, you must purchase bids in advance. At Grab Swag, each bid costs 75 cents and bids are sold in bundles of 25, 50, and 100. If you would prefer, you are also able to customize your own BidBox.
Each bid you place in an auction raises the price of the item one cent and extends the auction clock by 15 seconds. The last bidder standing is the winner of the item and has 72 hours to pay the winning auction price in order for their item to be sent to them.
Unlike most penny auctions, Grab Swag will refund the cost of unused bids from the initial bid package, as long as the request is made within 7 days of purchase.

I too was charged $99 without my authorization. That being said, I decided that I’d just accept it and move on. The biggest problem is that all they have for sale are additional bids!!! What a joke.

I was bidding on their site for about an hour. I still have additional bids I can use but I cannot find anywhere to log back in to their site!! I am convinced it is a scam…I hope a state attorney will initiate a class action suit!!

Signed up for their “50 free bids” offer and was charged $99 to my credit card without my knowledge or authorization. Sent e-mails to them to try to cancel the account/order but they did not respond. Couldn’t find a telephone number to call but I read that one person did find a telephone number for them but calls went unanswered.
If this happens to you file a complaint with your credit card company and supply them with documentation that you attempted to cancel the transaction They apparently have a policy permitting cancellation within 7 days but the policy is hidden and not honored. They use this policy excuse as a reason to fight the charge backs from credit card companies.
I am hopeful that I will win my case against them and get my money back!
