Home Employment Agency Reviews – Legit or Scam?

The email ad for Home Employment Agency reads, “I want a job where I don’t have to work a ton of hours to make a ton of cash.” This is obviously something that everyone wants and precisely the type of hype that work at home scams use to seduce their victims; this is why everyone who sees the ad wants to know if the HEA is the real deal.

The first and most important thing that you need to know about the Home Employment Agency is that it is not a traditional staffing company or any kind of actual employment service. What they are offering is training in a work at home business opportunity and definitely not an actual job.

This is an important distinction to make because in these tough times a lot of people are in need of real work and don’t have the time or resources to start a business. This kind of deliberate deception is the first red flag for the Home Employment Agency; it’s not fair to market a Biz Opp as a job.

So what is the Home Employment Agency Actually Offering?

When you pay your $47 + 9.95 S&H what you get is a series of training lessons on how to become what they call an auction listing agent. They want you to think that this is an actual position where companies pay you to post items on auction sites like eBay, but this is another fabrication.

What they teach you is the wholesaling business, which is the process of using a wholesaler to obtain discounted goods and flipping them for a profit on eBay. This is a legitimate method of making money online, however you only get paid when one of your auctions sells; you do not get paid just for listing the item.

The other important piece of information that you need to know is that you will also be directed to join a popular wholesale service which will cost you another fee. You can’t get into this business without a place to get your products so this is a must if you choose to proceed with the Home Employment Agency program.

So is the Home Employment Agency a Scam?

While the actual business of wholesaling products on auction sites is legit many things about the Home Employment Agency are not. Despite the fact that they try to pass off this business opportunity as a real job there are also things about this company that people don’t know.

This is actually the 4th version of this program; it continually appears under different pseudonyms and they keep changing spokespersons as well. Elizabeth Jackson is not the first #1 “work at home consultant” to be pitching this program.

Case in point, as of 11/22/10 they’ve started using the name Work at Home Employment Finder (www.workathomeemploymentfinder.com) with Michelle Richards as the Spokeswoman.

This is crucial info because the reason they have to keep changing names and websites is due to the overwhelming negative feedback from their customers. Within months of release these programs rack up hundreds of negative comments on consumer protection sites.

If you do want to know how to get into the drop-shipping/wholesaling business do some research online first. This is not an easy business, but there are many free resources, websites, and forums available to help you learn the ropes.

It’s actually not a scam. They tell you straight forward that you have to pay some fee and/or pay some amount to get licenses to become an agent. You are basically starting up your own business as a private contractor. It requires quite a large amount of effort to actually pass the license exams. So most people decide not to pursue the job after they know the license is not worth getting. Becoming an agent for an insurance company is not the ideal job anyone should be looking for. First, if you have to pay them money in order to make money, it is not legit. Second, if you have to work at home, most likely it is not legit. Third, avoid licenses. They only cost a huge sum of money. This is a lucrative business. They know most people will not pursue the job after paying the initial fee. It is a Risk that a lot of us fall into. You take the risk, not the company, that’s why it is not a scam. They are only trying to promote it….sometimes in deceiving ways, but it is up to you to determine the right way.
I’m 22 years old and this is only the beginning of many scams I will probably be offered. I haven’t fallen for any yet ;)

I think this is their latest ‘avatar’.

    http://www.americansrecruitingassociation.com/joinarasplitnetwork/

My wife got an email from them saying that they are a recruitment agency and wants to interview her. They gave a link for a webcast which will explain the ‘job responsibilities’. They were giving an elaborate presentation of how a recruitment agency works, how to post jobs, how to read a resume and screen candidates – blah blah. The web presentation started with about 200 attendees. The moment they mentioned about a payment of $397 to get a link to their job portal website – ppl started backing off asking – “why should we pay to work?”. The attendance dropped to <50 within minutes. Its at that point I told her its probably a scam and to waste no more time in listening to the presentation.

Same modus operandi here – disguise a biz opportunity as a regular job.

These good postings are BOGUS . They are made by the employees of HEA. Every single assembly company i checked on their list got an “F” rating by the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. They are using the BBB symbol on their site and are not accredited.

okay… 2/21 I got 7 phone calls in just over an hour from these people. 2/22 I got 9 phone calls is just over an hour from these people. Screw the BBB. I filed with the FTC. I told them to take me off their list and the jerk said “we don’t have a list” so I told him to throw away my “file”. He demanded to be called “sir”. The F bomb flew out of my mouth. SIR? These people have scammed God only knows how many people and HE wants to be called SIR? FILE WITH THE FTC AND YOU CAN ALSO FILE WITH THE FBI! I’m going to do that next.

I gave this a 3 because I’m not sure yet.

I was disappointed to learn that I would get paid when the item sells which does not equal getting paid TO POST as the extensive email says. I was called by someone in their sales dept trying to get me to sign up for another program and she agreed whole heartedly that the advertisement is wrong and she gets a LOT of ANGRY people every day.

So this is what I’ll do… I’ve got nothing but time as I wait for my second child to be born. I will take the economic situation into consideration when choosing what items to post. Let’s remember that even if the actual unemployment is 20%, that still leaves 80% that are working and have money. Essentials would be the best things to post. People ARE buying, they’re just buying differently than they used to.

I’m certainly not defending their practices but I’m not convinced that this is a full blown scam. Yes, their advertising is a load of crap but this is an actual business opportunity and trust me, I’ve spent more for less. If all else fails, I’ll get my money back.

The BBB is of no use to anyone. If this goes sour enough, I’ll get the FTC involved. There IS a law against false advertising which this definitely falls under. I can smell a class action suit coming eventually but for now, I’ll hang out with my heartburn in the middle of the night and list away.

This truly is a cruel time to be taking advantage of individuals and families that are simply trying to make it i.e. looking for hope and good news. These people probably consider themselves a public benefactor by offering a tuff lesson to the stupid and short sighted. It is about time that such outright deceptive marketing be punishable by more than a measly lawsuit… Thanks for the info guys I almost bought into the scam. Would have been great if it was true though LOL.

Wow, after reading all these reviews I have to say I am not only appalled but also entertained. Mike, that was great. I think I will call to see how many people I can call and talk to also. I don’t happen to have anything better to do for the next 20 mins so why not? Also, another detail we should all think about… If they have to email us, it’s because we aren’t coming to them. There are very little businesses these days that have to use email marketing. Mostly because most people know the company or through word of mouth. Any type of ads like this that get spammed to me go straight to the trash can. Not to mention the worry of viruses and all the other BS that goes along with it. But thanks again to all who posted. That sucks for those who got ripped off. Better luck in the future.

Well damn I really wish i could say that i was one of the many people who instead of getting excited and throwing my card number to any company who promises a lucrative return for a minor investment did some research. Unfortunately that’s not the case and i have been suckered into this scam, now as to a “Call to Action” lol such as was mentioned in their so called training what can be done to get this particular site shut down. I’m aware of the home agencies many names but they all lead back to The Auction Employment Training Institute. How can we shut these people down or at the least find a way were they have to specify the program in much fuller detail as to the must sell aspect to receive a return on the investment. Either way my aim is vengeance I plan to post this sight as a cause on facebook and see what can’t be done to get it shut down. If anyone has info or wants to help take down Home Employment Agencies like this one please let me know

To those who have given HEA and other similar companies (or any comapny for that matter) money only to discover you were snagged and screwed… IF you can not get them to refund the money as their ad says. You CAN make a charge back on your credit card. This is a process that is done with the credit card company where you dispute the product/company. 95% of the time or more you receive your money back and the CC company deals with the offending scammers.

I disputed over $7,000.00 in charges for a shady business opportunity a few years back. While the opportunity was real (even checked with the BBB prior to buying in) the dealings were shady and high presure and my Credit company had no issue at all refunding me and going after the company for their money back instead.

Just want you all to KNOW there is HOPE if you have been scammed. We are NOT stupid or idiots for believing some of these companies. It is their JOB to lie and they are very good at it. DO not be embarrassed to fight for your money back. Also call your attorney general when these scams occur. THEY are interested in these businesses and are looking to stop them. That is part of the reason the companies have so many different “fronts” and representatives.

Happy Holidays to all and I hope in 2011 you are blessed and all your needs are met. With legitimate sources!

OMG, i wish i found this website earlier. I fell for it $59.90 + $7.95 express. I had an agent call me answering my question saying no, you get paid when the product is sold you get a $5-$10 profit, even though it said on their website paid $5 per listing. That’s what drew me in $5 per listing.

Another agent called a few days later saying for my testimony, he’ll teach me all there is to know and be debt free, free of charge but he had a customer, he said he’ll call back in an hour. He never called back and I’m glad he didn’t. I gave up before seeing this website. I’m just waiting for a reply or my money back, it’s been a few days now. Wish me luck.

Same scam….different name. Please watch for “The Auction Employment Training Institute”. I am kicking myself around the block at the moment. It won’t take long…it’s a short block.

I went on line to search for local part time employment opportunities….this company was advertised as an alternative. I “knew” that it was a mistake but I have been looking for part time employment to supplement my small business and this “work at home” thing sounded like a perfect solution.

They currently have my $68. Not a bad price to pay for a learning experience…I am grateful it’s less than some of the others who have been hopeful. My grandfather once told to “be wary of the braggart”.

My conversations with the “follow up crew” this evening made me go into research mode. Thank goodness so many of you talked about your experiences. They are far too similar not to be the same thing. I’ll demand my money back…yes, I was gullible…and I extend a great big salutation for confirming what I already knew.

    Best of intentions….

I too almost put in my cc number. Just before I did, I tried to go back to the previous pages, and a box came out saying that there were only two more positions left and that if I left, I might not be able to get into this “great opportunity of a lifetime.” Then I went forward and got another ad saying that I had only 10 minutes before someone else will be offered this opportunity. I then decided to go and research this company and I am glad I found this site. It convinced me not to input my cc information. Thank you all for making me realize not to spend my last 60 dollars for this month on something not worthwhile. I might be able to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving meal now.

I asked him how much the airplane costs. He said there was no cost and just wanted my testimonial so he asked a lot of questions which I provided and asked why I should be accepted for this elite team. He then asked about my financial situation Loans Credit cards etc. He said I qualified and had put me on with Tony Lee their Senior Business Consultant. He asked a lot of questions and why I thought he should allow me to be a part of his team. Then he asked Is I would handle my business conservatively or aggressively. I said on the conservative side
He then said they have 3 categories Conservative Moderate and Aggressive. He was pushing me to aggressive because the cost for this was ONLY $9,575.00 the Moderate was $8,620.00 and the conservative was $7,505.00 So I asked him were is the Half Price deal there is always a half price deal he said no! If this isn’t trying to scam people out of their money I don’t know what is!!!

It is not the intention of Home Employment Agency to take advantage of, or to mislead anyone. If our goal was to take customers money and run, we would not have a refund policy. Marketing is a part of most any business. We appreciate the feedback we have read here. There is so much true potential with this opportunity! Many people lack the confidence to try an opportunity such as this and we try to paint the picture as simply as we can so that people are encouraged to try. If you give up before you start, how can you accomplish anything? We have customers that have taken this opportunity and turned it into something terrific for themselves and for their families. These are the customers that submit testimonials to us that we have used for our sites. For those customers that are not happy with the program, or are unwilling to see the opportunity through, we have the 60 day refund period in place so they can get their money back.

I wouldn’t really say this is a scam, but there is a lot of important information not listed before you pay the $49.95 + $9.95 S/H + $9.95 rush shipping if you choose that (I did). Please make note that at the very bottom of the page there is a disclosure stating that the results listed are not typical of the average poster and money is not guaranteed. This is a commissioned based listing.

First, you have to take a looooong 10-step certification course on everything there is to know about selling on ebay. This is beneficial if you are serious about being an ebay seller. One you pass the 10 question quiz at the end of each step you can move on to the next. You then have to link your ebay account with the auction listing agency and register with Doba. You can then start listing items. What they don’t tell you beforehand is that you are responsible for all ebay seller fees and you only get paid if the item(s) you list sells. You then only get the whatever amount the item has been upped by the company.

I will say that the customer support is very friendly and efficient and will answer any questions you may have. There is a 60-day moneyback guarantee, but you must forfeit shipping (they do tell you this before you pay). This is a legitimate process, but if you want to make any money you really need to make this a full time job and become a very experienced ebay seller. This is not for someone looking to make easy money, like me.

I stuck with the program for a week after training. I found out that their website doesn’t link up with your eBay listings and always showed “0 bids” even though on my eBay account I had bids on auctions I setup through the Listing Agency.

Then, after someone won and payed for an item, I tried setting up the order through the Auction Listing Agency. Well the Auction Listing Agency’s website still showed the auction as “active” with zero bids. It wouldn’t let me send an order through Doba (drop-shipping company) to ship out the product to the customer.

I had to go directly to Doba’s website to process the order through my PayPal account (using the buyer’s money they payed to my PayPal account for the product and I did make a little profit because I priced it low). So basically, to make a profit I had to bypass the Auction Listing Agency and go directly through the drop-ship company.

THEN I saw that I can list products to sell on eBay through Doba…so you don’t need the Auction Listing Agency at all really (their website doesn’t work or link up to Doba or your eBay account anyways).

If you want to list items on eBay from a wholesaler, just get an account with a drop-shipping company like Doba (they charge like $39/mo so you have to put out a lot of listings and know how to effectively market your auction listings to make a profit after the monthly fee) and list their products on your eBay account that way. Then you can directly order the product with PayPal and not have to go through so many steps (and use a website that doesn’t work!).

Hope this helps; goodluck (it isn’t easy but you can make a profit through Doba at least).

The home employment agency is a total SCAM. The ad says you get up to $5 for each listing when in fact you only get paid if the items sells.

Of course the email advertisement does not tell you that information. I wish there was a way to crack down on all these scams. So glad I called an asked the right questions before I invested my money and time.

Although I do remember receiving such an e-mail before and I quickly dismissed it because it asked for money to sign up. I discussed that with my husband after after reading the long ad of “The Home Employment Agency”. He truly believed that we could make extra money by me working out of the house. I knew better than to go fort it. Wow I feel like such an idiot! Again glad for BBB and this web site because in the end I didn’t fall for it!

    Hello All,

I’m sure that someone could make money with this opportunity if you look beyond the “lies” to get you curious enough to “try” it. As someone who has “tried” several different types of work from home opportunities, when it takes pages of text to “convince” you to do something then that should tell you that the “truth” doesn’t matter to this company.

A true work from home opportunity will be up front and honest about EVERY aspect of this business and not hide it in the small disclaimers. Ethical companies will not fill your minds with overwhelming text explaining why the opportunity is right for you.

Advice: If you want a work from home opportunity look for a company that is ethical and tells you EVERYTHING about the opportunity including the fee upfront and don’t wait until you fill out a form to tell you what it costs.

Don’t waste your time and money on companies like “Home Employment Agency” because they are very unethical. I have aligned myself up with a network marketing company that takes working from home to a whole new level and is truly a company that cares about it’s managers. Network marketing is definitely the way to go. It does take time to build a network marketing business for some people and for others they blow it out of the water. It takes real work to build a walk-away income. If I had to choose an opportunity, I would choose a network marketing company that is ethical, has a compensation/business plan that is solid and cares about the success of their managers.

    Good luck to all!

    Keep it real!

Thanks for this review. The big problems you get with outfits like this is that it’s a fraud for those needing the immediate employment. When you get their material most would agree its a good tutorial. This has been done spoofing the Google name in a different scam which involved monthly fees, so it wasn’t a one time hit for the gullible. Be cautious on anything that says your going to make crazy money/hour. It just wont happen. There are good work at home outfits and most are networked so as to protect the Companies involved. I’ve seen one from the UK proofing 1kb type segments for 2 hours a day for ~$600USD/month. That comes to 2x5x4= 40 hours/month. Not bad, but it’s only extra bucks for those already employed. For the elderly its a good augmentation to SS money as long as they don’t go over their limit.

I, too, am glad I found this site. Took me a while to find one with real answers re: the site. It sounded good, but suspicious. I figured it was a scam and expected there would be additional funds to pay out.

What peeked my search for answers was the mention of making $5.00 per listing but no mention of the actual “trigger” for payment of same. It only made since that I would be paid only if the auction item was sold.

Definitely a scam. I did kind of pick up that the 59.95 was for training to be certified. What was missing was how the certification led to actual employment.

Thanks again for all the input. I was nowhere near buying, but wanted to do so, and would have been wondering if I made a mistake by not buying. Now I don’t have that nagging worry or concern.

Well, I was almost a sucker. Only I needed to borrow the money from a friend and because my name (on the application) and their name, on the CC info, didn’t match, it was rejected. I called to find out why and they told me I could enroll anytime, just that the names and addresses needed to match. Someone (God?) was looking out for me tonight. I would have signed up for this SCAM. After the CC was rejected, I started doing my research, funny what you will do without the research when you are desperate. Thank you everyone for the info. We, as a country, need to figure out how to stop this nonsense. Those of us who are unemployed are desperately seeking ways to earn money!

I also investigated this site, although I used StartPage, not Google. Like the rest of you, I’ve been looking for work at home opportunities, and finding the vast majority are scams. Like some of you, I was disappointed to find the link to it on websites that should be legitimate job postings. My link came from NextJobAtHome.com in email. I’m also on CareerBuilder.com and Snagajob.com, but haven’t seen it there, but they both also have links to work at home scams like this.

You can also get some domain and ip info on websites you want to investigate at domaintools.com. There’s free info, and more detailed info if you want to pay for more. The history of registration of a website can be revealing as to whether it’s a long established business or possibly a fly-by-night.

A lot of them are online for awhile and then disappear, and come back under different domain names, with new layouts but similar offers. There are some scam entrepreneurs that have hundreds of websites with different names and different come-ons all originating from the same source.

But you can do more than investigate them and avoid getting scammed. You can report them and try to get them in trouble with the law. One poster mentioned the Internet Crime Complaint Center, which used to be icc.gov, but is now http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. The only problem here is that you need to be a victim for your complaint to worth investigating.

Here’s what I did for Home Employment Agency, and you can do this for other websites that violate copyrights by using company logos. I noticed they use logos from Apple, Compaq, Adidas and Coleman, while claiming “Fortune 500 companies like Apple, Adidas, Compaq and Coleman are outsourcing positions to people like you.” (Notice they didn’t say these companies are doing this, just companies “like” them. Even that is a false claim, since it’s really a wholesaler drop-ship business.)

So I searched for contact info for the legal departments of Apple, Compaq (HP), Adidas and Coleman, and emailed them to advise them of the probably unauthorized use of their logos on the website. That should bring a little heat on the scammers. You can do this for any of these websites using logos illegally, and help put a stop to it.

    The email:

“There’s a “work at home” scam website using your company logos, claiming your companies are paying people to post auction listings on eBay. I doubt they have permission to use the logos, and you might want to look into it.

I found this company on Monster Hot Jobs online while looking for work. It is really up my alley and I was excited about it and found it worth the price. I use ebay, and am online all the time. I’m unemployed and had 10 hours a day to invest. But I am also smart. I looked on the BBB..found nothing on it which can be good or bad.

I searched some more and found this site. Now I am so mad at this company. Its much like the “Internet treasure Chest” from back in the 90′s. ((Set up a ready made wholesale to retail website, all done for you.)) I never made a dime. Canceled it in 30 days. And then almost 7 years later they charged my credit card $39.95, and claimed when I called the number on my statement that I owed them over $380 for past monthly membership dues? (that I never used, the website was gone, never used, never a profit) My credit card company credited me back for the charge and I put a block on them.

My suggestion to those here that paid for this “Home Employment Agency”:

First call your credit card company and tell them you have been scammed. Put a block on this company with your credit card company. Continue to call them for a refund, also email them, and write to them. If you really looked out for yourself then you read the Terms and Conditions page. Go to it and do what your supposed to in order to get a refund. #8 Cancellation states: Call 1.888.514.7413, mon-fri 8am-10pm, and Sat 10am-5pm EST. Mail any Member account cancellation to 2764 N. Green Valley Pkwy #394, Henderson, NV. 89014. You don’t get shipping/handling charge back…why is there one if it is all done online? But if you got something in the mail they keep that charge. Make sure to call every day, email everyday, and write them once a week for your refund until you get it, and document your requests each and every time. (dont forget to send copy of email, receipt, member number, etc..)

Your credit card company will send you a form to fill out. Make copies of it, because they may request this form to be filled out a time or two again. Just make copies and change the date and fax or mail it when they ask for it. It will take a month or two to get the credit back on your statement. They will go after this company on your behalf once they personally credit you back.

PLEASE contact the BBB and report them. Why anyone has not done this yet I don’t know? There is no record of them…yet. You will need the address above and phone number, and company name.

Since I found them on Monster Hot Jobs online, I am going to report them there. If you found them on an employment website please go now and report them.
You can also go further to research your state reps and Govenors online, and get their emails and report this company as a scam to unsuspecting unemployed people. Its fast and easy. They all have emails. You can also report them to Nevada’s state rep, where their mailing address is.

I’m glad I did my research on this. Their claims are very misleading, I thought they provided everything including the companies I would be posting for. I thought this may be the way people are doing this on ebay with their own “companies”? This is what I am trying to find out how to do…have my own ebay store. This is what I though this was. What a crock.

It’s not a scam because I know someone who is currently doing this- first of all of course you don’t get paid unless the item sells!
It’s the same way if you were to list an item for sale on your own on ebay- you make no money unless the item sells.
Common sense will tell you that!

Secondly- the fees involved are the initial $ 59.90, your listing fees which you have anyway when you list an item yourself on ebay, and the drop ship fee per month,
and that is it. Keep in mind the Customer pays the shipping fees so this gets absorbed in the monthly drop-ship fee anyway.
There are many Power sellers on ebay who use drop-ship companies because they sell so many items they simply do no have the time to ship the items themselves so they rely
on a drop-ship company to do this for them.

Someone said you can never reach anyone at the customer care number which is not true, as I have tried it myself and every time I have called I speak with an Agent.
Also someone said they only ever get 2 People on the phone- that is not true either, as I myself have called about 6 times and each time it is a different person.

Someone else said they try to get you to sign up or buy all kinds of products- not true either, because if you scroll to the bottom of the page it gives you the option to decline any offers !

Also someone mentioned you must pay for the items they give you to list- this is not true either! They get the items at wholesale and you simply list a bit above wholesale. You see the wholesale price and you get to decide what to list it for.

It was confirmed you do not pay for the items, you also do not package them or ship them as the drop-ship company
    does this for you.

People say they get no replies when trying to call, I have spoken to 6 different Customer Reps so far,
When my friend decided to do this and paid the fee she received her info packet about 5 days later.

Also there is a review on one of the News websites in the Business Section and this Company was reviewed and tried and listed as a legitimate way to make Money from Home.

Why don’t they have a department to put these people out of business quick before they scam hundreds of people? I then googled the site and came to this page and found out it really is a scam. I also wonder how the reviews of people saying they had $329 a day and $16K a month came about? I think those are either fake profiles or the people who actually controlling these scams. I was laid off by an international company from a work at home job I had been in for over 18 years (25 years in the industry). The job typically requires a masters degree plus credentials or RN degree and state license as well as experience in the Worker’s Compensation insurance industry. This was a real work at home job, not a scam and obviously not easy to obtain.

The work at home job also required adjustments such as leaving a crayon stop (red) or go (green) light drawing on the door to hold the kids back or let them in, depending on how busy I was. No kidding.

I read the Home Employment Agency info and, like many of you, thought ‘this could work’. I did not spend the money, I did the research via Google and found the information with an overwhelming answer – it is a scam. Maybe it can work for some people but I am not interested. I don’t recommend this option given the canned testimonials and negative feedback listed.

all i can say is wow! i just saw the article online about an hour ago and read through it and i was hooked into it, since they said it was through ebay, idk i thought ebay wouldnt do anything like join with a scam company so i thought this was legit. and when it said you get your money back i thought, oh i have nothing to lose i might as well try it. but one of my red flags that something wasnt right was the money chart that described if you made so and so this is how much you would make in a week and year, the numbers didnt even add up! i did the math for the money that you could make up for one day or something like that and i multiplied it and everything and it just didnt add up to what they were saying but i thought “hey maybe i just did something wrong” NO! the scam artists couldnt even calculate f-ing math. im sooooooo happy i googled it before i made a payment for this shit of a site. Thank you so much to everyone who responded here, you guys saved me a lot of money that i cant afford to lose.

I saw what was on the South carolina job report for release on July 26 2010. It also claimed : AS SEEN on MSNBC/Fox newsUSA today/Fox news etc..Online news investigative report channel 8 news. So I thought it was legitimate besides the get money back up to 60 days of application statement seemed fool proof…. Yea I’m the fool alright !!! I put my cc# in but never got any membership details or any other kind of acknowledgment as far as I can tell nothing was charged to my account, but I have a very bad feeling this won;’t be the end of this mistake. I have made numerous attempts to cancel and cannot seem to get contacted back or reach anyone. Now I know to check for scams first !!!!!

I am glad I found this. I was actually trying to contact Home employment Agency to try to access the 10-day certification course when I stumbled on this. on Friday,I put in my credit card number and a Congratulations! page came up and gave me a password, but the email “receipt” they sent me had a different password. I tried to contact them about it,but I have not received a response yet. The email says you can contact them by replying to the emailed receipt. No response yet.

Once you put in your credit card information, they then try to sell you all these other products and services before they let you get to the “10-day certification course” first lesson. .. and they ask you to fill out three questionnaires in between ,asking basically the same questions. Although they tell you you can start right away, if you don’t complete the 1st certification lesson and leave the web page, there is no instruction about how to get back to the lesson. The application keeps coming up eah timeyou put in their name. When you try to access the site or email them to try to reach them, you get no response.

THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST THIS AND SCAMMERS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT AND REQUIRED TO PAY BACK EVERY DIME THEY HAVE TAKEN.A THIEF BY ANY OTHER NAME IS STILL A THEIF AND FRAUD IS FRAUD. THERE ARE LAWS REGARDING BOTH! TIMES ARE TOO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO BE PLAYING THESE KINDS OF GAMES. In the meantime, those who have the protection, I hope you call your credit card company to let them know that the merchandise you paid for was never delivered!.. and I hope they credit your account. THIS IS BEYOND HORRIBLE… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I almost thought that BBB was talking about this business, but it wasn’t. I am glad that i continued to research on line and found this site. Great Job Reviewopedia. A local woman is making scads of money, so an online article said. I put in the info required to see if I could be “eligible” for an online job as an auction listing person, plus the credit card info needed to pay for the $47 plus S/H and then nothing happened! No e-mail sent to me, nothing on the site either to acknowledge a thing. They have a long-winded ad that goes on forever; that should have been the red flag right there. They also say if not satisfied you get that money refunded. Yeah, but how– when there doesn’t seem to be a person to contact. I think it must be a scam. Also that pretty Elizabeth is just some model’s photo and a fake name, like Betty Crocker is, only not so reputable.

Thanks for the research on this scam.. The one thing was it made it the scam look reasonable.. beyond the big figures… using e-bay and for every time you post a product it states that you receive a $5.00 payment..neglecting to state that once sold the payment is earned…2nd it includes the one payment for receiving the:

(When you pay your $47 + 9.95 S&H what you get is a series of training lessons on how to become, what they call, an auction listing agent.)

I will all ways look for the (1) money drop and see how much and how it is to be dropped.. (2)look for the guarantee to the investment.. (3)and the urgency to hook up .. this one gave 10min. to hook up.. then to get off the site was another matter.. they continued to offer a 10% or $10.00 discount if you were to join now…These were my red flags

The 4th to mention.. on this one : You need to hook up a personal E-bay account.. You are responsible for regaining any commissions and any debets. every thing that is sold or brought in goes through your personal account…Your to keep track of all the charges rack up if your not aware of this one little matter…I am sure there is more but to just to mention a few

I was checking out career builders and ran into this listing for data entry. As I read through the listing I quickly became suspicious – number 1 why did it take so much text to describe a data entry position???? Then the clincher … I had to pay $47 for a training manual. Over 30 years ago I got burnt when I mailed $20 for an envelope stuffing WAH position – to me this seemed to be the exact same thing. I’m glad I checked …

So I just got off the phone with Nick. I then called back and spoke with Jessica. I called back a third time, Nick answered. I called a 4th and 5th time and got Jessica both times. Two operators that’s it?

I asked each of them: “This sounds like a great idea! I can’t believe you guys aren’t doing this!”

Nick replied “I do. I just do this in my spare time to help people.”

I said “Man. Still. You should spend all your time at home doing this.”

Nick replies “I don’t like staring at the screen.”

I didn’t say “Aren’t you behind a screen right now?”

I then spoke with Jessica and I asked the same question.

Jessica replied “My kids won’t let me use the computer at home.”

I say “Hahaha, you should get like a laptop or something”

Jessica replies “Oh, well, ah, oh, no.”

    I say “Why not??”

    LOL

I used to work for customer support for the website auction listing employment agency! and it’s a joke basically i was paid to lie to each and every customer that signed up for the program there business is horrible i always felt bad for people and wouldn’t mind issuing refunds! of course because I was a honest worker and because i did have a heart for people. I lost my job within the first week of working!!! If you consider do this program DONT! if you have any questions on what they offer and what the program is truly about ASK ME! i will answer any and all questions about this! yes 47 dollars to sign up isn’t bad but then u got to sign up with there drop shipping company wish is 39.95 a month! of course we are advised to tell customers they can find there own drop shipping company but when you do that you still have to pay for a drop shipping company! your better off broke than trying to spend what you have to join this crappy company!!
