Internet Career Builder Review – Is Michelle Miller’s InternetCareerBuilder.com a Scam?
Internet Career Builder (now called Internet Career Finder) is a website that features Michelle Miller, self-proclaimed “#1 work at home consultant in America,” touting a new work at home system. This site is attracting a lot of visitors and everyone is dying to know if this is the real deal or just another cleverly disguised scam.
Right off the bat the first thing that seems very unsettling about InternetCareerBuilder.com is their logo. It’s very clear that they are trying to mimic CareerBuilder.com, a popular resume submission and job search network. Internet Career Builder is clearly trying to pass itself off as a legitimate employment source by blurring the line between these two significantly different sites.
If you didn’t know any better you’d think that it was the same company. What this company is doing is definitely deceptive if not illegal.
Take a look for yourself…
So What Exactly is Internet Career Builder?
The website starts of sharing the story of Michelle Miller, a rehash of typical make money online back stories…Broke desperate woman miraculously stumbles across life changing opportunity and out of the goodness of her heart is now sharing it with you for only $197.
When you finally get to the real meat of the matter you’ll find out that they’re really offering you a “job” posting links for major companies. This make money online scheme is very reminiscent of the “Post Links on Google” scams that swept the net throughout 2009.
They claim that there are thousands of companies dying to pay you on average $15 for every link you post for them. They also say that this is so easy that it only takes 4 min per link and that after completing their wealth training certification program, anyone can make money with this despite background or experience.
So is Internet Career Builder a Scam or a Legit Way to Make Money Online?
To begin with, there are no companies that pay you to post links. This is a complete fabrication what they’re talking about is affiliate marketing, in which you use custom tracking links to promote products for which you get paid ONLY upon completion of a sale.
You have to advertise these links on search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Now what Internet Career Builder doesn’t tell you is that you have to pay for every click that is generated by your advertisement. Affiliate marketing is a business and not a job in the sense that you don’t get paid an hourly wage and you can even lose money on advertising if you’re not doing things properly.
I wholly believe that affiliate marketing is a legitimate way to make money online and many entrepreneurs really are earning large sums of money. It is a real business though, and you have to treat it as such to be successful. That means gaining the proper knowledge and experience over time.
The way it’s presented on InternetCareerBuilder.com is completely misleading in that they are portraying it as a way to make money instantly by getting paid for performing unbelievably simple tasks. In addition they are generating tons of complaints regarding their unwillingness to give promised refunds and the poor quality of their actual training materials.
In addition to their deliberate likeness to a legitimate job search site the other major red flag is that their website template is nearly identical to other major scams. I have seen this same story, website design, and method used to push many other disreputable make money online schemes, all which generated thousands of complaints and are now defunct.
Note: If you're at this website because you're looking for a way to make extra income from home then check out my top recommendation. It's the best method I've found that anyone can use to earn an income from home, Click Here.

I have come across this website many times while looking for something to do online to make a little extra cash. I almost considered this but then the reviews warned me that it was just another scam. I am glad there are sites like this to help people out.

The email that I received and subsequent advertising content, was very seducing. However, I disregarded the very clever marketing and started searching for information by putting “INTERNET CAREERBUILDER SCAM” into a search engine and came up with your take on the ‘opportunity.” As I suspected nothing is as easy as described. No where do they tell you about the pay for click costs, the (non existent) companies who will pay you to post links for them, etc.
As a retiree, paying out $197 would equal 25% of my monthly government SS check. Had I done that, I would be one sick puppy. Then, what a fight it would be to try to get this back.
I often wonder why these ‘opportunities’ with such guarantees (pay now, trust us to refund later) are not (if they are real) run in such a way that the career builder companies don’t take their fee out of your first commissions. Simple… they are basically scams.
Thank you for your analysis. No doubt you saved me $197 and a lot of aggravation.

I found this article to be very helpful. Thank you for helping me to avoid a potentially expensive mistake.

WOW....it is pretty WILD out there with so many folks out of work and SCAMS like this taking advantage of us all caught up in this economy nightmare!
I felt hmmm, could it be but have the need to research complaints against companies that advertise "MAKE IT TODAY, NO COST TO YOU, RISK FREE". YEAH RIGHT! GREAT ARTICLE AND SAVE FOR THE LITTLE PEOPLE!
There really should be a way to STOP these types of advertisements!

Thanks for the extensive research that you've done on Michele Miler. Reading her "hype" almost makes one believe that they've found the proverbial Goose. I'm so tired, worn out, and exhausted from time wasted looking for an honest opportunity that it's a good thing I can't find the key to the gun locker. Is there any program honest enough to offer a potential buyer the opportunity to implement the program first, and then take the cost from first earned commissions, or should I keep looking for the key? Someone offering a program of that nature would be world-wide hero! Thanks for listening to my rant.I'm going key hunting ( LOL ) Regards, Steven Stone

I just joined Internet career builder and as you I was very uneasy and should have gone with the idea that this is a to good to be true work at home job. I went even further & joined the VIP for an extra $29.95 besides the $197.00. After that I tried to get back to the site & couldn't get in. I just got off the phone with a gentlemen by the name of Jeff Albright and he was trying to sell me into another program. I told him the problem I was having, he said call customer support & he also said he was going to call me in a couple of days. I told him is was thinking of calling and canceling the program and getting my money back. I hope I can, & wish everyone luck.

Just a quick note to thank people like you who take the time out to warn people like me who are vulnerable to scams. It has been this sight that has "saved" me a couple of times as a recent widow and being unemployed I am primed for the taking. You are appreciated and valued keep it up. Melissa

Thank you all so much. Today I had checked this site out and now they are offering 2 months free to try it. I still was hesitant and now so happy not to be involved. So where do we find legitimate jobs to work from home? I really want to that since I have the discipline to be at my computer all day. Any help is appreciated. Jayne Notaro

I too am a sucker ! I joined 2 months ago, paid the $197, then VIP $29,and website center something $39.00,and they give you a static's area so you can see how many ppl have seen your websites etc. ,and its a scam, that deceives ppl,I've asked for my money back, because they have a 60 day guarantee, and I received one e-mail in return saying they were going to refund me the $197.00 and I would have to go after their affiliate companies for the other $70.00,well that was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them. The way I figure it Michelle Miller is wealthy from taking ppl money ($197) upfront ! and she has some pre-programed zombies answering e-mail responses trying to keep the ppl strung out till the 60 day guarantee expires. Why can't these ppl just be upfront and honest ?? I should have know better .. A fool and his money part !!Just plain upset !! Jeff in Mich..
April 24th, 2010 at 12:34 pm (#)
I also screwed up and went for the 60 day money back guarantee for the Career Builder by Michele Miller. I also called that same day or the day after that, after I saw how this program really works, and I requested my $197. told I would have it back in my checking account within 15 days, and it is now April 24 and I have had no luck. Can't reach anyone by phone or customer service. I really was gullible, How can people get by with these scams, and why are so many people, like me, falling for quick money promises.
April 24th, 2010 at 12:36 pm (#)
On the same day, somehow I ended up with a PayPal account, also money back guarantee..I paid $64+ for this. also called them and have heard nothing else from them so I can cancel the account. and get all my money but back into my checking account.
April 26th, 2010 at 2:10 pm (#)
I have called the support line which is a continuous loop with no help, and the support email comes back with undeliverable messages, this is the biggest SCAM going right now...I have contacted my bank to fight to get my money back! I hope if anyone reads this you will do the same if you bought this package and if you are thinking of buying this DON"T!!!!!!
May 21st, 2010 at 2:25 pm (#)
no support line,no money making techniques a lot of B.S this is a nightmare, I can' afford to loose 197 dollars and that's how they're getting rich how can we report this scam?

Ok so i came very close myself to pulling out the credit card and giving it a shot. Very glad I researched more thoroughly and came across this article. I became concerned when i couldn't find any information on this "website" and the reason is that the name has changed from INTERNETCAREERBUILDER to INTERNETCAREERFINDER....there is nothing in google whatsoever about INTERNETCAREERFINDER probably because it is a relatively new change. When i couldn't find any details about it...I decided to google Miss Michelle Miller...that's when i found this....THANK YOU SO MUCH! Just make sure EVERYONE KNOWS....it is INTERNET-CAREER-FINDER.COM NOW......NOT****** internetcareerbuilder. THANKS AGAIN

Everything the author said is true. There are no companies doing business on the internet that will pay people to post links on the internet. There are however many, many companies that have affiliate programs that will pay individuals commissions for products/services sold through the links that they posted.
Internetcareerbuilder.com is referring to the legit and profitable home based business of affiliate marketing, only the site is very misleading as to how the process works. The author of this review is dead on on how affiliate marketing really works.
Yes- companies do offer various links and banner ads that you can post which are customized to allow direct payment to you. No- you do NOT get paid from posting these ads. You only get paid when someone clicks on that ad, and then either buys a product, or signs up for a service.
Yes- Anyone with a computer and an internet connection can ake alot of money at home with affiliate marketing. And it can be a fun, rewarding, and simple way of earning a living(once you learn what you are doing)
No- Affiliate marketing is not as easy as this site claims it to be. While it is a simple process, it takes alot of work and learning before you can begin making enough money to support yourself. You will need to learn how to use PPC(pay per click) advertising. Building a high ranking website is a big plus, and having some marketing skills and creativity doesnt hurt.
Never buy into anything that says you can make money with the internet without really having to do anything. There are simple ways to make money with the internet, but, just as with any business, home-based or not, you have got to put in the work and learn what your doing to be successful.
Forget everything you read on internetcareerbuilder.com.May 26th, 2010 at 3:29 pm (#)
Well yeh if it sounds to good to be true it probably is !!!First off I'm very aware of scams it is always important to read everything in its entirety , some things that should be noticed as red flags, on the first page your guaranteed triple your money back but if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will also you will notice earnings disclaimer read it and they tell you that you are not guaranteed promised or otherwise warranted anything Not as to the amount of money you will make or there system even working and forget that triple money back guarantee because this releases them from all a fore made guarantees promises and everything else! Also notice the way they talk around everything and switch from one site name to another there wording is almost a dead give-away that its a scam ! Pretty much they are selling you on the idea of a better future ,when in fact the only one who's future will be brighter is those scammers that just got your 49.95 check bank account information , and open check book to your account hence the 59 .00 monthly fees or any other fees they tack on all those expenses she went over in the first page and you cant do anything about it yeh its fraud happens everyday in America !!! So beware and read carefully and always read the small print !
May 26th, 2010 at 3:33 pm (#)
Oh by the way you will also notice after reading the small print that every time they scam enough people the website closes and guess what then its name changes they no longer exist the website disappears and so does your savings !
May 26th, 2010 at 5:49 pm (#)
Did anyone one else notice they misspelled their own company name within the website? They spell it "Intenert Career Finder Program"
May 26th, 2010 at 7:27 pm (#)
I almost fell for it. But after I read this they can kiss it. Thank u.
May 27th, 2010 at 10:08 pm (#)
Every once in a while i go threw my junk e-mail and actually read some of it - today's winner was Internet Career Finder. it asked for name phone # and e-mail address to sign in and the offer sounded way too good to be real. $49.95 for life time membership and you can make thousands a week. so i looked up Michelle Miller and got the CBS news correspondent, added the I.C.F. to it and found this - glad i did, nothing like real testimonials to dissuade one from making a mistake. if you bought into the program try not to beat yourself up to much for it, remember these things are designed to prey on people. thank you for sharing your stories and warning the rest of us off.
May 28th, 2010 at 12:23 pm (#)
Yes Michelle i have been reading your work at home info and am very interested in making money at home as im a disabled vet, and all i can find on internet is this is a scam please tell me its not
May 28th, 2010 at 1:01 pm (#)
So, there's not one single positive word about this company? That seems suspicious to me, too.
May 28th, 2010 at 3:39 pm (#)
Well I fell for this too and am asking for a refund(not Likely) but I guess I should have searched more on google before buying into another scam...
May 28th, 2010 at 5:12 pm (#)
I literally had my bank card out---they were offering it for $49.95 one-time-cost, money back within 2 months if I wasn't satisfied, so I figured, "hey, how can I go wrong." THANK GOD I listened to the little voice in my head that said to wait for my husband to come home, to run it by him first. He suggested I run the website/company name through google. I am SOOOO happy I didn't go ahead and sign up. Things are tight enough as it is without throwing away $49.95. Thank you SO much for posting these reviews, otherwise I would have done it.
May 29th, 2010 at 9:42 am (#)
I have just received their email. If it seems too good to be true, look deeper. If it is an honest offer they will tell about some drawbacks/side effects. If an add plays upon your insecurities and offers you unlimited...solution to those insecurities, again look deeper. If it builds hope where there is fear at little or no cost to you- heed your warning voice, do research. These are trade marks of scams. I lived in Las Vegas for 5 years and these are the trade marks of Con Artists. Hold onto your money and dignity. If you have lost money, you have gained experience through "Hard Knocks school of life." ... these reviews were wonderful to remind me of this very lesson again. Sometimes I forget.

I must say its a shame that there are so many scams out there. Maybe, through internet regulation some of these programs may be eliminated and discontinued? I'm not for regulation but something needs to be done to monitor and stop these phonies from being allowed to take the hared earned money of Americans and folks in other parts of the World. People are looking for legitimate data Entry or work from Home programs that folks can actually implement and make some money using their internet connection. I will say this, those individuals who are involved in these scams should be treated the same as criminals embezzling money form corp. or other businesses. Using the internet should not create an exemption for prosecution of these individuals. I am very adamant about the fact that its a disgrace to willingly take money from people who are already in bad way and looking for an opportunity to pay their bills or feed their families. Like they say, what goes around comes around, you reap what you sow. It will not go undetected or unpunished. We should formulate a program where honest working people can find the legitimate programs where businesses are really looking for people to help promote their businesses with work from home opportunities. Lets try to network together and help guide individuals to the proper channels of these work at home programs. Sincerely, Dean, aka Extreme.

Good thing I am skeptical about everything, do not purchase anything online unless you have had a good experience. Almost 100% of the time something that seems too good to be true usually is... Dean Graziosi you probably heard of his name anything his hand touches is 100% Scam, Friends the only thing I can surly tell you always do research on some get rich quick scheme to my knowledge there isn't one. and do not get involved with carolton sheets research it, I have heard nothing but negative results. I am sorry to be so negative on this but sometimes if you see a duck its probably a duck. Always Always research on google and do not be scammed by somebody using the google name it is 100% fiction

June 1st, 2010 at 11:05 am (#)
Unfortunately, all of us are somewhat desperate & vulnerable in the state of economy presently, including me. I fell for the spiel, payed $49 w/my credit card.FORTUNATELY...my "excellent spam online security" wouldn't allow me to go any further.I immediately notified my bank, reported the name of the scammers & canceled my credit card. The $49 had already processed, within the 30 minute. Canceled credit card, a letter of dispute, and waiting 7-10 days for the new & only credit card I own & time/inconvenience. So sad, our world has the ultimate, low life scum just waiting for the next innocent victim.

So I am a weekend night nurse who was looking for some extra income. I woke up, I was tired, but I see this great opportunity offered to me in my SPAM mail to make extra money from home. I paid for 2 products and the total was 79.90 around 730pm 6/1/10. I woke up this morning 6/2/10 at 4am anxious to access my account and begin posting a website and making all of this "extra money". I have been wanting to pay off some debt and travel. Now I find I am unable to access my account and I am out 80.00. I am going to call my bank later today to see if this transaction can be stopped. I am so thankful that I did not get the 197.00 fancy membership to further line these crooks pockets. I was just scammed for 1,000.00 for and English bulldog on line and I swore never again. If it sounds to good to be true IT IS. I hope this will save someone from getting taken advantage of in the future. I am so angry that these people are able to scam and make it sound so real. I am an educated woman and have been scammed x's 2 in the last 4 months. I am so embarrassed and just sick over this happening to me again. I wish I had seen this web site first, but their was this little ticker on my offer that said only 2 jobs left, and I was in a rush to get one..........Good luck to all that have been scammed.

I was going too try it but wanted to google this person and I found you. But while trying to leave the site the price kept being reduced from the now 49.95 with a two month guarantee to 7.00. I thought this sight was an easy way for me to make money while i take online courses for school. All they told me that it was an investment of 49.95 to get your web site going. After paying that much all of a sudden 29.95 came up and i ended up paying that as well not realizing what i had just done. I got my web sight up connie15600eliteweightlosspackage.com which i had no idea about til i got it going, i was told i would be doing posting of links and making about 225 a day. They wanted to charge me more money for advertising on google, yahoo, msn and so on. And for paypal, for google adware and oh and to go pro so i can get more web sites up and make more money. I did not realize this was a scam until today. Thats B.S. I should be smarter then that. I can beat myself up for not looking into it. Thanks for telling me about Michelle.

I almost fell for this scam internet career builder ( b,s )Michelle miller doesn't even exist she should get punished for scamming and stealing peoples money
June 4th, 2010 at 12:07 pm (#)
Scammers like this keep amounts in a range where people give up trying to recover their money. Even companies that appear to be legitimate brick and mortar businesses, pull these kind of scams. Check out Superior Lighting as one example. They charge 495.00 for your "sales" kit, and everything is a complete scam. Keeping the individual amounts low keeps them below the "threshold" for enforcement agencies to go after them. A family member was taken for 8,000.00 in a scam that was absolutely illegal, and when the authorities were contacted, they were told that nothing would be done unless the scam victims losses totaled over one million dollars. Then, "They would look into it." Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not sure what I am rating, but if its this blog on Internet Career Finder its great. I too, am an educated woman (a nurse for 22 years). I was looking to make some extra money where I didn't have to be on my feet for 8-12 hrs. I bit on Ms. Miller's $49 and $29 VIP program. What a SCAM! And I do mean that in every sense of the word.At this moment I am on disability due to up coming brain surgery. I had $100.00 in my bank account and being naive not stupid I bought the program and soon (in hours)knew I had made a terrible mistake. I had to put a very important medication on hold hoping these people have some kind of conscience and will give me my money back. DON'T BUY ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks For Listening. GOOD LUCK!

I will like to recover my money but do not know how, I have paid them $80 and want any information on how to get my money back. I am greatful to the author who make us to know that this is not real.
June 7th, 2010 at 1:58 pm (#)
I signed up for this program 6/4/2010. I also signed up to use the $ 49.95 for added advertising on google and other sites. I went to google to find another member with the same site given to me already posted and they are offering $30.00 less than the website assigned to me. I am closing this down and trying to get my so called advertising $49.95 back . This site should be shut down.
June 8th, 2010 at 1:32 pm (#)
I also was tempted, but at the end of the web sit BS it stated: 15 sites in 60 minutes=$225 and your up front cost of $49.95 Leaves you with a profit of $28.oo ??????????? where does the rest of the 225 go? namely $147?? must go to Michelle's pocket. DON'T DO IT
June 8th, 2010 at 3:01 pm (#)
First off I must take my hat off to you for a great post, and thank you for the time spent. Folks there are some great opportunities online but sadly there are 50 bad to 1 good. You do have a wealth of information available at your finger tips so always do your research before you spend. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to develop income streams online. It does take a lot of time and strategies to become successful, just as any business. First and foremost RED FLAG when out there searching is the phrases: start making money in hours, or even days,
June 8th, 2010 at 9:31 pm (#)
I'm sad to say that I got scammed. But the good thing was instead of paying 197,79,49,29, I just paid 17. After seeing the website and all the things you need to signup for (which I didn't) and didn't continue past start, I'm only out $17. I'm pissed and like everybody else I thought it was a legit job. But since I didn't get any email from Mechelle M. I knew it was a scam. I didn't want the website stuff, so all I lost was $17.

Sadly, if I had seen this I would not have signed up for it. I have come across so many of these in the past and I know it is a scam. I bought it for 49.95 and have been trying to get my money back for days. The help system they have set up sends an automated email to try the program and it is guaranteed to work. The phone line keeps you on hold with a countdown that hangs up on you before you get the opportunity to talk with a representative. There is no chance to receive a refund regardless of their claimed guarantee or your money back.

Scam,Scam,Scam, all the way. Do not waste your time. They tried to hard sell me and laughed at my objections. When they ask about your Credit card tell them its none of their business. They want you to pay by card because it wont "come out of your pocket", Whose pocket does it come out of the Easter Bunny? Finally after being told to "well then just hang the phone" I did!! That was the best thing that I did with them. They talked the B.S. and tried to cover it but it was still B.S. They need to be shut down. I am out $17. Lesson learned the hard way.

June 13th, 2010 at 3:15 pm (#)
Almost did it, but I always look for independent sites like this one that tell it like it is. Always look for them when contemplating signing up for an on-line business. It will save you $$$. Never seen anything negative about Project PayDay

I to fell for this huge SCAM and am now trying to get my money back. For anyone who is trying to get there money back, here is what I was told. The phone number which is impossible to get through is 1-877-816-0555 or send them an email at: go to this site and send them a message. Not sure if it works as I am still waiting for my money but will update you and is worth a try. THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!!!!!!!! http://www.internet-career-finder.com

UPDATE: Hello again, I am the one that has been scammed a couple of times on the internet, once for a bulldog and this time with this program. I am writing again to give additional information I was not aware of at the time. This is very important.......I joined this scam thinking I could make extra money.......This is a total scam and everyone please be aware. I paid for the program and to be upgraded to VIP status, totaling 80.00, with the "VIP" status you also get an "Internet anti-virus protection",,,,,please know that this is a virus ITSELF. I just spent 251.00 to have all this removed from my computer and new virus protection installed, I also had to change my debit card so no additional funds could be drained from my account. I did, while at the bank, fill out a fraud report through my bank. It did not help to do this, the money is still gone, but I still fought back as much as I could. I am so sorry for those that are looking for a quick fix to debt, I was. I should have known better because I have very limited computer knowledge, it just sounded so good. Please be careful and good luck.

I received two invites to join the Internet Career Finder Program. I was looking for a phone number to ask if they could take my credit card number and charge the card on a different day this week until I get paid. As I arrowed back, the $49.99 price dropped to $37.00. So I had fun with it and arrowed back again, the price dropped to $27.00, you guessed it, I arrowed back again and the price dropped to $17.00 to join. I googled Ms. Miller and found out all the misinformation and your woes. I 'm glad I did. Nothing to hide from Husband on this venture!
June 17th, 2010 at 12:39 pm (#)
i paid for 6 and i only wanted 1.i paid 49.99 each for the internet career finder program and i haven't received nothing.
June 17th, 2010 at 2:48 pm (#)
I'm sorry to say that I ended up paying the 49.95 for the program. I've been trying to get my money back for days, but they seem to have a way that makes it impossible to email them, or get them on the phone. Too bad some people are so dishonest, and others (like me) are so trusting.
June 21st, 2010 at 12:42 pm (#)
I am so F*(^%)# pissed. I have been given the run around about my refund. I only spent the 49.95 and now they are sending me to different emails and phone numbers. This is obviously a scam but they are going to wish they did not scam me. I'm taking it to the top and somebody is going to refund my money.

Thank you career builders review, i've been going from site to site on the web trying to find out the facts about this company. you are straight to the point..good save. MR.T...
June 25th, 2010 at 3:29 am (#)
After reading the first page in its entirety this sounded like a really good opportunity and if you pay particular attention to that countdown clock indicating how much time is left to order thats what made me suspicious because I knew it would take a while to read all the legal info. When I tried to look up Michelle Miller on aol google a pop-up box came up asking if I really wanted to navigate away from this site? and that if I go back I can get the course for $39.00 instead of the $50.00, another red flag. Now when I left the site to see how legitimate it was the clock was at 1hour left instead of the 2hour time limit. when I went back to the site the clock was reset to 2 hours again, a gigantic red flag. Please if anyone reading my post is on a fixed income, SS, has hardly any money in the bank (like myself) or is without a job please, please, please, don't even consider giving a penny of your money to this woman. She doesn't care about you so why care about her!!!

I found another site that Resembles this one and Not sure if it is a scam or not yet. I have to do some more research on it but if anyone else would like to help research this one that would help us all Identify yet again another scam. The site is:www.world13news.com

Here's one to add to your list of legitimate complaints. I'm a senior citizen who is incapable of standing long hours at my former job. So I desperately hunted for something that will earn me something to supplement my social security check. Long story short, in my desperation I took the bait. My 30 trial period will soon be over& I called to cancel, I searched to web to cancel....NOTHING!! Like someone said up above, It's a nightmare I can't afford. Since I have 4 days to go, My bank will stop payment on any future withdrawals. and maybe get my money back. If this information helps someone else thank goodness. I think I try networking instead. Thanks, HKK

Many thanks to this site, saved me some potential headaches. Got caught by the google one before, Just sent the lovely Michelle Miller a nice email to tell her exactly what I thought of her and her scam!!! If anyone should find any genuine sites that offer work from home opportunities online please let me know by posting here. regards
June 29th, 2010 at 1:21 pm (#)
GOT robbed too. The bad part is within 2 minutes I called my credit card company and the payments had not even went through yet and they claim that even though they cant stop the payment because I ok'd it , that they are not even smart enough to track the payment to catch the scammers/ what kind of legal system do we have. Payment has not even went through and they are still going to pay it without even trying to catch them.. I think the credit card company should have to refund me being that I reported it before the payment even went through. They said it is pending , so I said why let FBI track to wherever the payment is going to stop this ridiculous Michelle Miller . they said i have to wait for the payment to clear then they will dispute. How fffffffff stupid is our world .
June 29th, 2010 at 3:29 pm (#)
I too fell for this. I have been trying to get my $49.00 back from these people for weeks. Someone named Liam Purdy has replied to my emails telling me that I have to go through another company to request a refund, but won't give me the other company's info. I am a full-time caregiver for my 85 year old father, who lives with us, and my husband is out of work. I am heartsick over the loss of money, but I am really mad at myself for being so foolish. Stay away from this company!!!!!! They are frauds!!!
July 1st, 2010 at 1:36 pm (#)
Hello everyone, I finally got some info that might help. I found out that you have to email "Support@fastnetlearning.com" to request your refund. They will need your Order number and Customer number off the original receipt. I got an email from them immediately after I sent mine, saying they received it and would process it ASAP. I'll let you know what happens.

We need to help ourselves if we have any chance at all of getting our money back!! We also need to help each other!! First, take 20 or 30 minutes and contact the Nevada STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL"S OFFICE,the FBI WHITE COLLAR CRIME UNIT,and THE NEVADA BBB!! If we ALL KEEP AFTER these people,we might stand a chance of getting OUR MONEY BACK,AND PUTTING some of these people WHERE THEY BELONG!!! WE need to STICK TOGETHER,and if we DO,WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!! SO LET"S COMMIT to this!! LET"S DO IT,NOW!!! LET"S GO!!! We can't QUIT till we GET OUR REFUND!!!
July 5th, 2010 at 1:02 pm (#)
I fell for this scam also. I will take Chuck's advise and contact Nevada AG office and FBI WCCU and Nevada BBB. I really dislike dishonest people and this pis##s me off. Contact your credit card Co. by phone, not by internet and dispute the charges. You will get better results talking to a human. Good Luck everybody!!

Michelle Millers programs is the biggest rip off in history. How can someone be so illegal, and still be allowed to operate on the internet? She and all her staff should be in prison for FRAUD!
July 15th, 2010 at 10:31 am (#)
it's a scam and have notified my bank would like to get them off the internet
July 23rd, 2010 at 6:06 pm (#)
First thing of all, call your credit card's company and stop the payment as soon as possible. I just paid them 3 hours ago. As soon as I found out that it is a scam, I immediately call my credit card's company. Fortunately, they are able to stop the payment.

I always check recipients with interesting offers. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
Check them out in Ripoffreport, Snopes, and like some of you I've read your comments..do an Internet search under the name and add scam at the end. Keep in mind that you will find a lot of contradicting information online. Some information even put out by competitors to knock down their competition. You might even find positive feed back...but, be careful as some of this really good reviews are also marketed by the company itself. So, you ask yourself "where can I go to and get real information?" Well, if you find a blog page with lots of negative comments such as this page....pay ATTENTION because a red flag should go up in your head. Better not to take the chance than to lose your money. BUT, not all posted on the Internet are scams either....it's up to you to be the real detective and take the time to investigate credentials. You can also book mark http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx as this website by the FBI is a good legitimate source of information. If you or anyone you know have been a victim of an Internet scam,go to ic2.gov and report it. You will not hear back from them but they do check in to it.
Also, keep in mind that if you've been scammed by any company and you paid with your credit card first thing you need to do is call your credit card company, report them and dispute the charges. The CC company will refund you while they do the investigation. If they feel that you were scammed, they will not retract the charges. However, make sure you have valid information because if the company is legit and can prove you wrong, the CC companies can retract the payment on their favor. Depending on your CC company rules and regulations they should investigate either way. In fact, this should be the first step you take to dispute the charges. Then report to ic3.gov and don't forget to blog here and other sources like Ripoffreport to let other consumers like yourself beware of scammers. Thanks to all that have reported here in regards to Internet Career Finders!

my husband and i received an email from (internetcareerfinder.com) and looked at it and they offered 950 a week for working 2 hours a day we liked the idea and went for it. It has been a month and a half now and no check we asked the people at homewebsitcenter.com and they only get customers from them they aren't affiliated with them. They gave me a number to call and website to get ahold of them at and the number was no good and website just was a comment page and still no way to get ahold of them to get the 4,750 im owed. I wish we would have found this site sooner and would love any advice or ideas anyone out there may be able to give to us. sincerely, jennifer and ben

Hi I actually got my visa card out and put the number in as I got the fee down to $17 and felt that this was not much to pay if it was going to earn me money. Luckily they would not accept New Zealand. I then googled it and came across this. Thanks to whoever started this thread

I (unfortunately) have fallen for Several of this type of scam over the years and am out more money than I care to share. These are all the same...Money back guarantee, etc...but, until you "plunk" your money down, they give you Very little info about what it is you will be doing, and for whom...It's easy to "drop" a bunch of big names around...They are not lying...which is how they get away with it...It's more like "lie by omission" ~ These things remind me of the old "Stuff envelopes" schemes from years ago. All they do is take your money, tell you how to take someone else's money by posting a similar site. Michelle says she Loves to work 4- 5 hours per day...Of course she does, she's counting out our money! I would bet $100 she hasn't posted a link in a Long time, if ever! Thank you for this site... Good luck to all...we're all suffering because of this type of low-life Michelle Miller...Shame on her.
July 31st, 2010 at 10:20 pm (#)
This is a very old story folks..remember jack n the beanstalk..stupid kid traded the family cow(your checking account) for some magic beans(make more money than you ever dreamed of scheme)..I myself got another e-mail today that was just like michelle millers deal..they both looked the same doing different things..posting ads on e-bay..posting links on search engines(same ol' crap)..the red light that went off for me was, i highlighted the company name n googled it..nothing there..the credit card sign up looked too cheap(i look for verisign myself)..i signed on my information to the e-bay job(she said hurry, this job will be given to the next person in 10 min.)i never signed on credit card info. while i investigated the company real quick n low n behold there was already n e-mail in my box saying welcome to the company thx for your membership n she wanted to help me fill out the credit card info..these people are desperate..so just google the company n if they're not listed get a good laugh n move on..

I just wanted to say that I'm soooo glad i found this site! As I read the postings, it sounded just like the scam I paid for called paidsurveysandmore. For anyone reading this, DO NOT fall for this site! Same thing: 60 money back guarantee, but you can't seem to ever get in contact with anyone. I have given up on work-at-home opportunities...even though a recent medical condition has made it were I'm unable to work. Thanks again for the heads up!

an f-ing scam
August 9th, 2010 at 4:13 pm (#)
This site should be posted at the entry point of every known scam site. Just imagine the amount of money that would be saved & the heart-ache into the bargain. But there again,it is. If you are genuinely looking for this sort of stay at home work there are always these site to fall back on to check out cheaters & bum steerers., So I am truly amazed that the number of people out there still getting stung, still keeps climbing.
Hey, I am not saying that I haven't fallen into the fire, but the lesson taught me to check it out before getting burnt again. & its as easy as typing in the trade name & putting SCAM on the end. The way I see it the guy's that research these sites, & post them for all to see, should be the ones getting all that scammed money for the time & effort. Thanks guy's, you are the true heroes of the internet. Don't give up on landing the Job of your dreams online there are those that are good & genuine. Just do a bit of research before jumping in. Its a bit like flying. Check it out before you fly , as you can't stop at cloud number 9 to check it out.
August 10th, 2010 at 6:26 pm (#)
I feel like everyone else. It makes me so mad that these SCAMs sound so real. I've never done this before and I won't ever again. It's just my luck to get the bad one. They billed me 3 times, so it's a real hassle trying to get my credit card credited.
August 16th, 2010 at 5:37 pm (#)
I am involved with a scam from the Michele Miller Internet Career Builder firm. I was fraudulently led into signing up for their program. After signing up I found out that they misled me into believing that I would earn $1.12 per person clicking onto the site that they were going to set up for me. Instead of getting started immediately, I was misled that the teacher could not meet with me for a while. The scheduler misscheduled my meeting times for two weeks. Rudolph was not honest when he closed the sale. He misled me to believe items that would not, or did not happen when they were supposed to. Finally I had a meet and greet on the telephone where I found out that this salesperson, Rudolph, was not honest. Instead of $1.12 per click it was $.02 per click. This and other items made me try to cancel my contract the next day. To me this was the second day as the first day when I communicated with a teacher or someone knowledgeable about the course and the way it was run, was the day before. The contract is supposedly a three day policy. Not thirty days, not sixty days, bur three days. Then they had me press enter one time in what they say is an internet signature. They split the $9100 charge into one for $5000 and another one for $4100.36. Yet how could this happen with just one (?) signature. Seems that is fraud right there. This should not be allowed to happen. I have asked for my money back to no avail. If this company is as good as they say, then they should be honest and give me my money back. If there is anyone who can help me, please do.
August 18th, 2010 at 5:45 pm (#)
yep - i fell prey to the scam - am now paying my credit card bill and CANNOT get any help from this "alleged" web site. their customer service is pitiful, their response to emails is sickening. DO NOT try this. wish i had read the comments before putting my head in their vice.
August 30th, 2010 at 12:56 pm (#)
I "bit" and am still trying to get my money back. I'm ready to contact my bank and report the charge to their fraud department.
August 30th, 2010 at 6:29 pm (#)
I messed up, i bought this program and canceled right away with no luck getting my money back. But thats not the worse thing that happened they sold my number to hundreds of internet marketers and now i get calls everyday from someone promoting how to make money online. These people are scam artists, RUN if you can before its too late.
