My World Plus Reviews – Legit or Scam?

My World Plus cannot really be said to market themselves as any one thing, since they don’t actually market themselves.  If you attempt to go to their website and see what they’re about, you’ll quickly find that without a user name and password or the ID of a member who is referring you, you are unable to actually access their site.

But if you do enough digging, you’ll eventually see that My World Plus is a network marketing company.  For a $19.95/month subscription fee, you receive a My World Plus discount card that is supposed to entitle you to monthly discounts at major retailers.

In addition, My World Plus will email you coupons to print out and take to your local retailers.  They claim that the monthly fee of $19.95 will essentially be paid for by the discounts you receive.

Finally, for an additional one time fee of $69.95, My World Plus offers you the chance to sell this card to other people for a commission, as well as effectively adding them to your downline, and therefore entitling you to commissions from the people they sell to.

So is MyWorldPlus a Scam?

Well, the reviews on My World Plus are incredibly mixed.  Half of their customers say to stay away and the other half say it’s a great opportunity.  There is an excellent reason for this: the unanimous opinion on My World Plus is that the discount card is useless, but you can make money from My World Plus as long you recruit others to sell this bogus card.  Clearly the users trying to recruit new members need to make sure that My World Plus doesn’t get a terrible reputation.

But most users, including those that gave My World Plus a good review, say that when they attempted to use their discount card at the advertised major retailers, they were turned away.  Companies had never heard of this card and wouldn’t honor the supposed discount.

The emailed coupons, on the other hand, were honored by the stores.  That’s because usually they were the store’s coupons offered on their own website, not exclusive to My World Plus users, and therefore not deserving of you paying $19.95 a month to get discounts that are offered for free.

But lots of My World Plus users said that bogus discount card aside, you can make decent money from My World Plus as long as you recruit lots of people to your downline.  That’s what we call “a pyramid scheme.”  If the users are right that the discount card is bogus, and the only benefit you get from My World Plus is payouts for recruiting other members to buy subscriptions, then that’s an excellent clue to just stay away.
