Paid Surveys at Home Reviews – Legit or Scam?

Paid Surveys at Home

Paid Surveys at Home is a website that promises to connect you with the highest paying market research companies available. For just $68.00 – or $34.00 with their temporary 50% off coupon – you can be connected to over 450 online survey companies, and over 300 additional work at home opportunities.

Paid Surveys at Home says that their members make between $5 and $75 for completing surveys, and up to $150 an hour for participating in focus groups. They also sign their members up for phone surveys, which they claim can pay as much as $120 an hour.

But is Legit?

Well, Paid Surveys at Home breaks both rules that most people use to determine whether or not a paid survey company is legit. First, it quotes rarely seen and hard to believe earnings for survey completion. Second, it charges you a fee to get access to the surveys.

Completing paid surveys, or doing online market research in general, is a well documented work at home opportunity. The general rule of thumb is that it does not pay much at all, but it is an easy, stress free way to make some extra money each month.

The earnings that Paid Surveys at Home is quoting are hard to believe. Most well respected market research companies pay $5-$10 for survey completion at their highest end; most surveys pay closer to $1-$2. And considering that these smaller surveys generally take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, that’s not ridiculous.

Also, market research companies are completely free to join. Paid Surveys at Home is charging you because they compiled a list of major survey companies. However, lots of websites have lists of well respected, paid survey companies, that you can have for free. Reviewopedia has one on the Make Money Taking Surveys page. And signing up with each company is free.

Another issue with Paid Surveys at Home that you should be wary of, is their offer of “300 additional work at home opportunities.” This generally means that they are going to give your email address to their partners, who will likely inundate your email box with “special offers” and “once in a lifetime deals.”

If you have already signed up with this company and are unhappy with what you’ve received, Paid Surveys at Home is a Clickbank product, and Clickbank offers a 60 day, no questions asked refund if you are interested.

If you're at because you're looking for a way to make money online then check out our article "7 Ways to Make Money Online" - methods that anyone can use to earn an income from home.

I asked her about how she started her life-changing journey. “It was pretty easy, I filled out a short form and applied for a work-at-home kit. There is a small activation fee; it’s not really free but it was under $5. I got the kit and within four weeks I was making over USD $3,000 a month. It’s really simple, I am not a computer whiz, but I can use the internet. I don’t even have to sell anything and nobody has to buy anything. Companies are constantly recruiting people for this, you should try it.”

The companies you work with are worth over 100 billion dollars and are the most used sites in the internet market place, like Amazon, Google, Walmart, Delta, Apple and more… You’re using the top ranked sites in the world, over 50 percent of all internet traffic flows through them everyday. It’s a great opportunity and this has been helping people work at home for over 5 years. Why not get in with the internet’s best and biggest companies?

There are plenty of scams on the internet claiming you can make USD $50,000 a month, but that is exactly what they are – scams. From my conversation with Alina, “I am making a good salary from home, which is amazing, under a year ago I was jobless in a horrible economy. I thank God every day that I filled out that form.”

“The income is so good that we decided to buy our first brand new car – a BMW 5-series. I had always admired other people in the city with this car, and never imagined I could buy one myself.”

I’ve never considered joining any paid survey program, but I noticed that Paid Surveys at Home is one of Yahoo’s sponsors. In fact, I’ve seen this program advertised on Yahoo for at least a month now, so I thought that it might be legit. So, just out of curiosity, I decided to check it out. I don’t know what to think other than this is a border-line scam, if not entirely a scam, because it’s dishonest from the start. It claims that “Miyu Nakamura” from Hachioji (the city I’m living in here in Japan) is making big money. It shows a picture of her “new car” and the neigborhood where she lives, except that the neigborhood does not resemble any neighborhood in Japan – It’s a typical North American neighborhood! I imagine all of you have read the same article, except the name and the city are different. This looks familiar, doesn’t it? “Miyu Nakamura from Hachioji, Japan never thought that she would work online, until curiosity got the best of her and she filled out a simple online form. Before she knew it, she discovered her secret to beating the recession, and being able to provide for her family while at home with her three children.” Common sense should tell any one of you out there to stay away.

The same thing happened to me! Except it was a different female name living in my current city (Taipei) with a picture of an asian woman in a typical american suburb. It was odd from the start. Thank goodness I didn’t join!!

Funnily, the companies ad in my country says the same, only we haven’t had a recession recently.I believe its too good to be true.Their site says its surveys from yahoo, amazon e.t.c,only these are really big companies and they don’t need to hire websites that barely look legit to do their market research. Why would they risk their brand repute being hurt?I believe its a scam!

I’m just about to join Paid Surveys at Home because I read about this on a site and the author says that her friend earns a lot of money every month about 7,000 to 8,000 dollars a month just by participating surveys, testing new products and participating phone calls at home. And I thank you about this site because it’s a wake up call to everybody else.

Please don’t waste your time. I registered under US because Kenya was not available in the options. Long story short, when I went through the first page of the survey companies, all the links led me to blank pages. It is not the best platform for someone wanting to earn money online from our region. Please seek such opportunities elsewhere. Best of luck.

At this site they say someone from Mostar made money. Mostar is city in bosnia and herzegovina, and when you register they dont have Bosnia as option for country. Most probable it will say that someone from your town is making money when you open site (my location is Mostar)

I can confirm this and add something to it. I’m from Belgrade and they said someone here made money too… only her name is Melissa, and that would be very odd, because this region doesn’t have that name… only if she came from some other, rich country, settled in poor Serbia and then found a way to make money like this… Ofcourse, that is highly unlikely… Anyway, all of that (and your comments) tells me this is such a scam… but maybe i’m wrong…

My experience with Paid surveys At Home blah: Paid Surveys At Home
This Internet company does not live up to it’s refund promises.
At first when I asked for a refund I used an e-mail address for Paid surveys I got from my receipt from CLKBANK the on-line banking service they use. The e-mail was returned as being “Not able to deliver.”
I then went to their web-site and using the e-mail address and the password they gave me I was unable to enter. I tried to file a ticket on the matter and was given this reply”We encountered a problem (unable to find a user account with email address)” Yet I have a receipt from CLKBANK proving that I did sign up and they accepted my credit card payment.
They make making money sound easy but everywhere I looked on the Internet they were referred to as a scam and I also found Better Business gave them far less than a favorable rating.

Once you have wasted your time giving answers, they have what they want and you have nothing. It is as rewarding as a bear trap.

I have been filling out surveys for various companies for about a year. I have made money but not as much as the advertisements suggest. Just like anything, there are good companies and bad ones. Reading the other reviews just illustrates one important point. If you have to pay a fee upfront, it’s a scam. With Paid Surveys at Home, I have been sent videos saying I could make so much money I could quit my job and live a life of luxury. This was all before I even signed up (which I won’t be doing since reading these helpful reviews). The old saying “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” really applies. Filling out surveys can be fun at times and frustrating at other times.

I just joined, and I haven’t taken the first survey, but I have experienced some of the same problems from taking other surveys. I’ve read enough. I hope Clickbank will not make it difficult to get back my $17.00

I joined a couple of months ago and got two surveys. After I answered the surveys at the end it said I did not qualify for the survey so I will not get paid. Therefore, I got nothing. I have tried to get in touch with them but cannot find them and I have not received any more surveys. So, I got scammed again and lost my money. ARE THERE ARE LEGIT PEOPLE OR JOBS OUT THERE OR ONLY CROOKS????

The reviews are valuable, and all seem to send out the same basic warning. Giving out your credit / debit card number is insane , Everyone should do a simple research. Glad I did today regarding paid surveys at home.

Marilyn G,’s comment sure hit the mark. ” I was turned off by the video because I didn’t like to be compared with a monkey. If monkeys can complete these surveys, then let them!”

I was grateful to read what other people have said before I paid my $68, whoops, I mean $7 to this company. I was turned off by the video because I didn’t like to be compared with a monkey. If monkeys can complete these surveys, then let them!

I think we all have to be very cautious of these on-line companies. I made the mistake of registering with Julie Thompson’s Paid Surveys and I quickly cancelled. Spent a lot of time filling out surveys and once finished a pop-up saying sorry you did not meet criteria. It smells fishy. My information was then passed on to another on-line marketer who got me real good. I am now in the process of contacting the BBB in that state and I cancelled my credit card. These days if we let our guard down it is very easy for these vultures to prey on unsuspecting people, who are just trying to make a living.

One more thing I have noticed on their site is that when you are on the payment page and want to close your browser window, a message pops-up trying to convince you to join by deducting an aditional 50% from the $34.00 this is a so called “friends and family offer”. If you clicked cancel on this pop-up, a page with the new price of $17.00 will be displayed and if you try to close this window “surprise” another pop-up appears with the same intention as the previous one but this time the price is even less, only $7.00 !!!! How can this be ?!?!? It’s like an online turkish bazaar :)))) They oviously are really desperate to get your money and this makes it very hard to believe that they are legit.
