Replace Your Day Job Reviews – Legit or Scam?
Replace Your Day Job is a new website created by Natalie James aimed specifically at people looking to enter the work from home community. Her website promises jobs working with major, multinational companies earning anywhere between $15-$75 an hour, either full or part time.
The sales page is primarily dedicated to Natalie’s experiences being unable to pay her bills or find reasonable work in this terrible economy, until she came across this very opportunity that she wants to share with you.
Ultimately ReplaceYourDayJob.com is just a portal website that will bring you to the Auction Listing Agent opportunity. Auction Listing is not new – there are many websites out there who are already providing this same opportunity.
The way these websites work is that you will be charged anywhere from $47-$197 to be trained as an auction listing agent, then you must become a member of a drop shipping company for an added fee. Then you list items for sale on eBay that you never have to buy, store, or ship, because that is taken care of by the drop ship company.
So is Replace Your Day Job a Scam?
Selling items on eBay and working with a drop shipping company are completely legitimate ways of making money. The particular problem here is not the work that’s being done, but the way that Replace Your Day Job presents this work.
Replace Your Day Job treats you as if you are actually applying for a telecommuting work at home position. They even make you fill out an application asking for your level of education. This is purposefully misleading. The truth is that working as an auction listing agent is completely independent employment – you are not being hired by anyone and you should not have to fill out an application.
Then, they don’t tell you until after you are “hired” that you must pay for training and that you must pay the drop ship company for their services. Depending on what kind of service you’ll require from the company, that could cost you anywhere from $39.95 to $249.95 a month.
Going along with their presentation that you are applying for a job, they also tell you that you will earn between $15-$75 an hour. But the way you make money with auction listing is simply by selling the products for more than they cost at the drop ship company. There is no guaranteed rate of pay.

I got an email from internetprofits.com to become a listing agent for major companies. I entered my cc info and was suddenly signed up for ultimatecashcourse.com instead. Then they tried to upsell their drop ship program and I knew right away I had been scammed. I immediately called the number given for training and they did not know what I was talking about, but I got a call back later from Simply Click To Profit and was asked if I could use my credit card and how much credit I had anyway.
I posted a cancellation notice on both netranz.com (listed at ultimatecashcourse.com) and at ccbill.com (listed at internet profits.com) and so far have not gotten any satisfaction. Nobody can tell me how I was switched from one website to the other and they still have my money. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general today.

Hi, I joined Simply Click to Profit on July 16, 2011 and went back to get information on how to use the process and they were not available. I am asking for a refund of $77, $29, $9.95 amd $39.95 money I can’t afford to flounder on a business that is not willing to help me profit.

Yes, I too was suckered in after seeing this advertised on Facebook! I even called the phone number and spoke with someone just to make sure it was a real company, but I wish that I’d found this site first! After reading these posts, I called and canceled the transaction and was told it would take 7-14 days to receive the credit to my card. Seeing that this was told to everyone else as well with no “credit” being given I decided to call the credit card company and file a dispute against the charge. Credit given within 2 days! I don’t know if any money can be made from this, but with so many unhappy reviews I’d rather not risk it!!!
April 17th, 2011 at 10:56 pm
This is the biggest scam I have ever seen!!!!!! I found it under simply click to profit and I was so excited, and looking at the testimonials, and everything they said is completely 100% false!!!!! They lowered the charges though, it was 47.00 instead of 67.00. I wish I would have known they were using a different .com address.
Right after I singed up, the website that I was suppose to get to go to did not exist!
I panicked, and started trying to find links to go to, and guess what there were none! They had me so suckered in, I didn’t even think about it. I tried to e-mail them, and the e-mail was returned. I went to my bank online, and of course, it had all ready been deducted from my bank account, so I copied and pasted the transaction information and was able to find the “secure server” and e-mail them, and informed them I had already contacted my bank, and they had better not charge me for this crap because they are liars!!!!
I had to call my bank, sit on hold for 15 minutes, and have my debit card cancelled. So I don’t have a debit card for 2 weeks, better that those scam artists having my money!
So please, please, please, please, please……do not give these people your hard earned money, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is……..I wish I would have remembered that BEFORE i hit the send prompt!
Next stop is the news media, because all over these websites, they have major network affiliations posted all over them, so I have lots more work to do to save people their hard earned money from these scumbags!
April 17th, 2011 at 3:29 pm
Ok…i clicked on a link on a company called Profit 4 Moms…then put in info, was reluctant to put in debit card info but i did…then it says to make the most money you need to upgrade…so in addition to the $47 i was paying to begin with, i also paid an additional $47 for “upgrade”…then you can’t log in so it took me to a fake website called Replace your Day Job..what a dumba– I was! I am planning on being at my bank first thing in morning and hopefully we can stop the pending charges going thru…Idk I’m hoping…I cant afford to throw away $94, I should have known…if something sounds to good to be true..it probably is…
April 5th, 2011 at 10:02 am
I thought that this would be good since i moved, but then thought about it and canceled my order $67.00, then $27.00, total of $94.00. In November 15,2010 said that i would get my refund in 14 days. I keep calling at least once a month. They told me in December that the processor was down then in February that i should receive it that month. March was they don’t know when and that there was no way for me to talk to anyone else. I think that this is a SCAM!!! that we all got caught in and the only thing to do now is to involve the Federal Gov. in on this just like you would an ebay, craiglist., ect. and the better business bureau. That’s what i’m gonna do.
March 1st, 2011 at 3:01 pm
I requested a refund on December 1st, 2010. Still have not received it. At this point I am calling them every week, and am getting the run around about how far behind they are due to their processing matching breaking down. My refund is supposed to be $67. Where can I report these people to the authorities, this is ridiculous!
February 24th, 2011 at 1:58 pm
This is a scam I paid 67.00 plus 27.00 I have been waiting for a refund for 6 months when I called A few months back was told that It shows canceled in Nov 30 2010. When in fact I called and canceled months ago. I also got the run around from a man that got truly upset that I wanted a refund and what a fool I was not to go with this program replace your day job each time I call I get, “I will note your account” from a Lady Named Ashely She claims that these notes do go to the people that run replace your day job but she is just part of a service for this company and has no direct number to call them ya right
February 22nd, 2011 at 5:15 pm
This isn’t a scam per say. They way they present it is misleading. They make it sound like you will get paid hourly. All they do is provide you with wholesale products. Some are not that bad either. I have listed on ebay a few Smith and Wesson knifes. If someone purchases the product from you, it’s up to you to pay the wholesale company for the product and provide them with the customers shipping address and they take care of shipping to the customer from their warehouse.
The lady above that said they demanded $6,000 is out of her mind. Just sounds like someone from another company/online business trying to shy you away. The ONLY bad thing about this that i found is there are no AMAZING products and ebay is flooded with the stuff on this site because everyone is doing it. Also i have NOT ONCE paid for training from this website. Just the initial start up fee of $75 and that is it. I have access to the warehouse and i am currently selling their junk on ebay.
What your buying is access to the warehouse. I did just the basic entry fee and sell their stuff on ebay. I didn’t do anything extra. Think of the extra stuff as the finance manager when you buy a car. He wants you to spend an extra $7 a month in your payment for some BS you don’t really need. Same here. Just stick with the initial fee and see the crap. You can make a few bucks on the side but i don’t see this as a way to replace your day job. CJ

Hello everyone, before reading your testimonies I was leary of this REPLACE YOUR DAY JOB (Natalie James) site. Natalie James is just an alias name, not an actual person. Many of these bogus auction listing sites use them. I didn’t give them a dime because of all of you and some of my better judgement. They give you their typical sob story about how they were just about to lose everything until stumbling onto this wonderful opportunity. At the very end if you read everything from start to finish you will notice it says the stories used are fictional. I don’t like being bullshitted. If they can’t give you an honest personal experience then what else will they deceive us about?
They also show you a video about this girl who now has more time to spend with her young children, but the video doesn’t actually tell you what it is she’s doing for a living online. I don’t know how they get away with using Fox News, CNN, ABC broadcast shows to promote Ebay listers (DROP SHIPPERS). This site spends more time sugar coating everything and leaves out the hidden costs you will run into once you subscribe and hand over money that you shouldn’t even have to pay if it’s a legit opportunity in the first place.
If they need listers that bad then why is there a cost to us? Lets face it, if money is required assume these cliche sites are a scam because the only ones who prosper in this game is them. I hate to say it but the only way to earn a living I guess is the old fashioned way, I’ve yet to find something legit working from home.

I wonder why those crooks are not fined or punished by serving time in jail for ripping off the innocent and desperate people!
February 5th, 2011 at 11:52 am
I went as far as the credit card entry and thought…”You’d better check it out, first!” So glad I did! Thanks to you and all the wonderful comments, I saved myself a lot of grief.
January 16th, 2011 at 2:27 pm
Wow, Thank GOD I’m nearly signed up for this scam. And I just wanted to make sure about that site first so I googled it. And I found this review and I’m so glad I didn’t pay replace your day job. And I’m really sorry for all of you, and I wish all of you get your money back soon. Thanks a lot for this review page.
December 28th, 2010 at 2:56 pm
I gave them 67 and the 27 and all I want is my money back, I cant believe that ebay is even associated with these people. That’s the hook that got me in. Save your money and spare yourself the grief of dealing with these crooks, I think ebay should step up and pay attention to these shysters. I will keep calling these people everyday until I recive my refund. This is no different than breaking in and stealing my stuff.
December 27th, 2010 at 12:11 pm
Holy Moly!! I’m so glad that I didn’t go through with it. I was all excited to get started that I called my fiance at work and told him about it. He told me I better google it first and boy oh boy am I glad I did. I found all your reviews and didn’t go through with it. I was about to enter my card info and after reading this, yea I dont think so. These folks should be fined for what they are doing other people. Thank you to all that posted about this website. Your reviews were most helpful and greatly appreciated.
December 26th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
I wish to thank all of you who sent in your reviews. I too was going to order the program but was a little leary about doing so. After reading your reviews I must say you guys made up my mind for me. Thank you all!!
December 9th, 2010 at 1:54 pm
I was also scammed. After they got their $67 and then another $27 I couldn’t even log in one time and maybe 2 weeks later i got a phone call from one of their supervisors asking for $6,000 more. After I told him no and that I wanted my $94 dollars back, he yelled at me and said it was not his fault if I couldn’t keep up with my passwords. So I got nothing! I have and you can too report them to the online business bureau.com and you can also take it on from there if you want to.
December 9th, 2010 at 1:43 pm
I too signed up for this misleading scam in October. Did the dreadful ebay course and when I was done I had no idea what to do next. I called the number and they had no clue either. I bought the additional $27 deal thinking it was something else, it is for you to create your own website. I didn’t want that. I decided the heck with this nonsense and called on 11/17/10 to request my refund and she said it would take 10-12 business days. It is now 16 days and the phone number I have doesn’t work, it won’t even connect. I sent an e-mail to one of the gals that works there as she had sent me a link at one time but haven’t heard back (of course). I called a number I found on the BBB and the guy was really nice but he had no record of me in their system. They handle a few different companies but if I dealt with Replace Your Day Job directly they wouldn’t have my info. He suggested I go directly to my bank and explain the situation and the bank can take action as a charge-back. I am going to try that today, I will post later how that turned out.
December 6th, 2010 at 1:56 pm
THANK YOU ALL FOR POSTING YOUR REVIEWS! i was about to sign up for this crazy scam, the things we do when we desperately need money, and i’m so glad i read your posts before. I’m so sorry all the experiences have been so bad, and I’ll be praying that you get your refunds back. god bless you all.
November 30th, 2010 at 9:45 pm
I paid $67 and then another $27 for an upgrade – my mother passed away and I was gone for a couple of weeks. When I got back and tried to get onto the member page to start my training I couldn’t get on. Have been trying ever since. Can you help me?

November 26th, 2010 at 12:11 pm
Like some many of you,I was also taken for 75.00 from this company. I have three numbers and I receive the same message on all of them. They act like they are looking up your account and then say they have no record of you in the system. I guess it is because I was already deleted out of the system that I can no longer access the training page. These people are crooks who are stealing money.
They should be arrested and charged just like any other thief.
November 25th, 2010 at 7:22 pm
This is definitely a scam. They promise to partner you with the big companies like Apple to be a listing agent at the end of the training.Instead, they provide you with training & at the end of it, request for more money to provide you with a list of drop shippers.
I called & requested for my refund. I was promised a refund in 5 business days. It’s now over 2 weeks & I have seen nothing. I have also sent an email to support@theauctionemploymenttraininginstitue.com. Should I hear back from them I will come back & advise all the others here.
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:57 am
I purchased this program with the hopes of making additional income other than my full-time job. After purchasing I have had many technical problems which have still not been resolved because the tech support offered is really quite unhelpful considering I have found 3 phone #’s and every single one has directed me to the same girl who has no answers to any of my questions! If that doesn’t tell you this is a scam I don’t know what will. This is such a rip off! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS!
November 21st, 2010 at 10:56 pm
I am glad I decided to check this website out. I was so convinced that this would help me. I never put my card information in and what a great idea that was. It seemed way to good to be true. And it is. Don’t let it happen to you or anyone you know. This website was given a “F” by the BBB. Major SCAM, so watch out and check out everything before you put your credit card or personal information in.
November 19th, 2010 at 3:52 pm
I am unemployed and have been trying everything putting in applications, doing odd jobs, whatever I can to make ends meet. Saw the ad for Replace your day job so I signed up $67 plus the upgrade $27 it’s a scam!!!! I took the course, which is stressful and takes days. Then I am charged for drop ship $39.95 which I had not signed up for yet. I filled out a form to get refund but have not heard anything on this. BEWARE
November 19th, 2010 at 3:33 pm
i signed up for this program after getting email after email from them…originally they tried to charge me $67, buty i decided i didnt want to pay that much so i tried to leave the website…they then offered the program to me for $37 and thats when i signed up. For the 1st 3 days i couldnt even log onto the website, i sent them an email and they fixed it where as i could log in.
I got thru the 1st 6 lessons. Was on the 7th lesson and decided to take a break, and have not been able to log back on since then. As a matter of fact there is no place to log in anymore. I also checked my bank acct and noticed they charged me $67 instead of $37…i called and spoke to an rep and he said i would be getting an refund in 5-7 bus days…that was 3 wks ago…pls take heed and do not give these crooks anymore money
November 19th, 2010 at 2:02 pm
I am another victim and agree with everyone, another SCAM. If I am correct, in the beginning of this site they actually state that they are legitimate??? My phone has rangs 2-3x’s today and no messages have been left–but its from the same number…must be that guy/girl wanting more money… Anyway they also say there is a 90-day guarentee.
We all need to work together and get these guys for taking our hard earned money and for false advertising! I think the FBI needs to get a call!
November 18th, 2010 at 5:12 pm
I was also scammed just today, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get your money back? Or what to tell to the banks to get ur money back? Im in need of money and this scam is really putting me in the hole. Please help.
November 16th, 2010 at 9:24 am
I am so glad I decided to dig a little further before I entered my card info. These people need to be prosecuted. People who are serious about making money and who truly need it are LOSING money because of these conscious-less criminals. I’m so sorry for the people out there who had their money stolen from these fiends. What a convincing little spiel they have, SMH!!
November 15th, 2010 at 6:42 pm
When they take your credit card info it is taken under Explosive Cash Secrets…Another site they have set up for scamming…I searched Utahs BBB, and seems they have graded them an F..they will not contact the customers or BBB regarding their scam…mail is undeliverable..bogus address.. They also do business as Hit Marketing…these guys are all over the place doing business under lots of different names…How sad..How in the world can these people sleep at night…Pitiful! I sure don’t wont to be them in the after life!
November 14th, 2010 at 9:36 pm
Do not believe on that website all they wanna do is get money out of peoples pokects!!! Unfortunately I 2 fell for that :(
November 12th, 2010 at 7:19 pm
(continued) Also they dont tell you that you have to spend money until you read for an hour then fill out the silly “application”. Most people have lost $67 but whats crazy is that they started off @ $27 and the more people fell for THIS SCAM the greedier they got so please stop feeding this beast. I hope you, like I, have investigated first and did not give those thieves money you probably wont get it back, at least not from Natalie James if that’s a real person.
November 12th, 2010 at 7:07 pm
They almost got me…..shwooo…. Thank God I read this first. I feel bad that so many people were scammed this way, so much so, that even though I did not loose anything, I will still file a complaint with the BBB against replace your day job. What alerted me was the questions on the “application” they were weird. They ask you to describe yourself and among the 4 or 5 options they give ask “are you all about the money- bottom line” or another option to describe yourself was ” i need to know all of the details first” Seemed shifty from the door.
November 12th, 2010 at 4:27 pm
I have to say I was scammed by this company as well. I paid my $67 and did get access to a training website. The website is ridiculous. They have a total of 10 courses. Each course requires you to take a pop quiz at the end. If you pass the pop quiz you move on to the next course, but if you fail it you must take the course over. I tried some of the stuff and was fully dedicated to making this work. As I started getting farther into the material I noticed it kept contradicting it’s methods. It would tell you to drop ship and three courses later it would tell you not to drop ship. It would then tell you to become a wholesaler and carry inventory and then another course would tell you to become a drop shipper and not wholesale.
The fishy thing was when I started getting phone calls from guys who supposedly worked in the marketing department for Replace Your Day Job. The stated that the program which was sold to me is a basic program and will not lead you to financial freedom. They wanted me to use my existing credit cards and begin setting up websites and accounts to promote my business. They never told you what that business was because they first wanted you to give them more money. They said that eventually you will be using other peoples money to finance and run your company. When you ask what that company is they tell you that first they would put you with a professional and they would structure a business plan. I told them to take a hike.
This is one of the biggest scams out there. I will be contacting Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and USA Today to let them know that their names are being used with a company that scams people out of money.
November 12th, 2010 at 1:32 pm
Well I am glad I looked this up before I paid. This is how you make money on the internet. You scam hundreds of people out of $67. No wonder she makes 6 figures a year.
We could all do this if we didn’t have a conscience.
November 10th, 2010 at 12:08 am
Yeah, it sounded good. I went through all their stories and signed up, then tried to get through to the website I had been given (http://members.replaceyourjob.com) and could not find it. Instant recognition that I had been scammed. Wife says a site with replaceyourdayjob.com does show, but i called my bank that issued the card for help. They were nice and will lodge a a claim against the scamming company and put a hold on my payment. This was all after regular banking hours but the charge showed up immediately so someone is sitting at a computer making sure they get the money in their hands immediately.
November 9th, 2010 at 5:50 pm
I was also scammed by this site. I have been trying to log on to it to no avail. There is no web site and I’m out $67.00. I called them and they said we’ll pay back and it takes 7 workdays but it’s near 3 weeks and they didn’t refund yet, where can I complain?
November 9th, 2010 at 1:51 pm
This is 100% scam IN THE WORST WAY! I can’t believe the media was so irresponsible than to give them free press. DON’T DO THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY! THE WEBSITE’S A SCAM, THE PHONE NUMBER’S A SCAM, I DIDN’T EVEN GET A RECEIPT! DON’T GIVE THEM ONE PENNY, IT’S A TOTAL RIPOFF!I’VE ALREADY NOTIFIED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND WON’T PAY THEM ANYTHING! BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY, I HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN FROM THIS BY SAYING STAY AWAY. I JUST DON’T WANT YOU TO GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID.
November 8th, 2010 at 3:05 pm
I have also signed up and paid their fee. Fortunately for me, I never pay for any of these transactions with a card. I make use of PayPal payments. I am going to lodge a dispute with PayPal, indicating that the product is not what it was advertised to be. Paypal in turn lodges the dispute with ClickBank and I will receive a refund directly from ClickBank. I do not deal with the vendor at all. The vendor in this case being Natalie and her Replace Your day Job Company.
LET OTHERS BE WARNED ABOUT THIS SCAM
November 7th, 2010 at 5:22 pm
I was also scammed by this site. I have been trying to log on to it to no avail. There is no web site and I’m out $67.00. I am going to call my bank tomorrow, and BBB. I’m so mad I didn’t check it out first.
November 6th, 2010 at 8:02 pm
THIS IS A SCAM!! I HAVE REQUESTED A REFUND 4 TIMES AND YET TO RECEIVE. PLEASE DON’T GET SCAMMED AS I DID!
November 4th, 2010 at 6:15 pm
Definitely a scam. I signed up online for $67, asked me to fill out an application, take a silly test on how to use E-bay (which to this day I have not be able to pass) then they called me wanting me to participate in their special, exclusive training program just for special applicants – and when I pressed for more information, they actually yelled at me for wasting their time – and hung up on me. This company is totally bogus!!! I have left several messages and emails requesting a refund. We’ll see if I ever get it. The latest support number I was given was 866-951-0371.
November 2nd, 2010 at 12:26 pm
yes this is such a scam! i tried to get my money back and they sent me this smart email saying that it wasn’t their problem. never again!
October 31st, 2010 at 9:19 pm
I signed up for the program and cannot even find the place to ask for a refund. In fact I can’t find a login place at all! It was so silly of me to order and not even look to see what others had rated it.
October 28th, 2010 at 11:52 am
I have not signed for Replace Your Day Job, I wanted to see if there was any reviews and or complaints. Thank you all for posting your experiences. I’m sorry they were awful and I hope you get your refunds back.
October 25th, 2010 at 1:55 pm
I just ordered Replace your day job and it was a big mistake!!!!. After reading these complaints I called and tried to get my money refunded and got the run around with phone numbers and was sent to a SPRINT phone company. I called again and the lady says she cannot refund my money that she would transfer me and then I got a recording to leave a call back number. I told them I wanted my money refunded ASAP and that this was not a simple 3 step work at home job. If I do not get my money back in three days I will call my credit card company and file a fraud report on them and they will cancel my money out. People should have to go to JAIL for trying to rip people off for saying they are here to help them out of debt!
October 25th, 2010 at 3:22 am
I did this too, I paid the 47.00 and went through all that training. When I was done, I was left hanging, I didn’t know where to go from there. I canceled and got my refund back. Before I did cancel, some guy called me and wanted me to write him a check for 5000.00 and use my house for collateral. The lady I talked to was really nice. She asked what they could do to improve their site, I said put down a phone number that works.

1-888-673-2707 is the number for Replace Your Day Job
October 22nd, 2010 at 1:49 am
Kevin, I have an office number of 1-866-599-6361 with an extension of 238 if that helps
October 20th, 2010 at 3:16 am
Does anyone know what the customer support number is. I am trying to get a refund. I submitted a support ticket, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. The first time I submitted a support ticket, they called me a few days later asking me what I needed. I explained to them that after purchasing this, there is no 3 step process to seeing money. It is not an easy business. He got agitated with me after I explained how misleading everything was. He practically hung up on me. I called the number back and a really nice woman answered. Fortunately, she did say that I had a 90 day money back guarantee. I spent $27 on it. I still am trying to get my money back. I can’t believe there isn’t even a customer support number on the main webpage. The number she called on, I no longer have. Can anyone help me out. I do know it is an 877 or an 886 number. Can someone please help me out here.
October 19th, 2010 at 11:56 am
What is the customer support number to replaceyourjob.com?
October 17th, 2010 at 10:05 pm
I signed up for this a few minutes ago….yes just a few minutes ago. Because the ad said I could sign up for $2.97, great I thought even if its crap at least I only wasted $3…right? Well at the end of signing up, no where did it give me what my total was, so I checked my banking on-line and they charged me $67.00 which is way over $3. I already have an email in to them and tomorrow I will be calling my bank and reporting the “mistake” on their part. I will also be telling the bank that I do not authorize the transaction and I will also be calling the support number for Replace your day job!!!! I am soooo mad right now, I could just scream!!!!

Ya, purely awful nonsense. The initial cost is some training stuff on how to use ebay, which might get you started. I learned a few things from it, but nothing major.
But like the others I got the call asking for more money and when I pressed for something in writing the dude got pissed and ended the call.

Definitely a scam. I signed up online then they called me wanting me to participate in their special, exclusive training program just for special applicants – and when I pressed for more information, they actually yelled at me for wasting their time – and hung up on me. Run far far away from this website!

I believed this, and they had me pay for training of selling products on ebay and basically were saying that though I was taking this training I wasn’t really doing all of those things that they were training me for!!!!?????? Right huh is exactly what I was saying!! So what exactly was I paying for???
