If I could give only half a star I would! I cancelled my account on June 23rd and received an email confirmation that the account was cancelled and a credit of $23.95 was credited to me that day.

That's a joke. I never received my refund and when I called customer service today they just cancelled my account and said the refund would be processed today (July 5th).

BEWARE, this company is a scam. They offer you a $1.00 trial and then charge your account $23.95, and even though I cancelled it the same day I found out I was overcharged, I still haven't received my refund!

Great site that gives very accurate information on a car, ran my mothers and it was very complete

They are misleading. They say it costs $1 and then they charge you 23.95 for a membership. I called immediately after running the report and they did cancel my membership and said I would be refunded in 3-5 business days though.

Sketchy. Had I not checked this sight I would not have caught it in time. Such a dishonest business model.

I can't see how anyone could give this scam site a positive rating. Must be fake reviews. I signed up for an "initial" offer of $1.00. At checkout the "summary" again indicated a total charge of only $1.00. Still haven't received the emailed report.

My debit card was also immediately charged of $23.95. My bank told me that they tried to force ANOTHER $23.95 charge minutes later, for a total of $47.90 but that my bank's security stopped it as suspicious activity, and that the site has a fraud alert.

TOTALLY DISHONEST MISLEADING SCAM. Reported to Federal authorities and law enforcement that oversee internet crimes, as well as consumer rights. Need to be put out of business NOW !

DECEPTIVE SCAM- Buyer beware. Just ordered a car history with the price for the initial report priced at $1.00 ( One dollar). Report is supposed to be emailed, the site doesn't provide it. Checked my email several times in the last fifteen minutes, NO REPORT.Just checked my bank account and was debited $23.95 without my authorization. Will be calling the bank right now to stop the charge. I should have known better. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Will also be following up with a complaint to FTC and Federal Consumer Protection Agency.

It's a scam. They show you a line that says the report is $1, then as soon as you click the OK for that charge you are charged $23.95. When you call and complain and ask for your report, they did explain that the charge is actually $23.95 for 21 reports for 30 days. I wouldn't believe that if I were checking their reviews first.

Was trying to locate history on a 1931 Ford. This website did not say it could not search before 1981. It let me enter the VIN number, I answered all the questions, paid the $1.00 fee on a credit card and only than did the site tell me the VIN was incorrect!

I called and the $1.00 charge was refunded, but this person couldn't help with anything else. I contacted the online chat for this site and than found out that they couldn't search anything prior to 1981! I told him that it doesn't say that anywhere on the web site, but that didn't seem to concern him.

He asked me if I wanted to close my account and I said yes and that I already had a cancellation number for the $1.00 charge. This is when I found out they had also charged me $23.95 for some kind of up grade I didn't request!

He closed my account and said he also cancelled the $23.95 charge. I will keep a check on my credit card statement. Their website needs to clearly state they cannot trace any car history earlier that 1981! IF it did, I wouldn't wasted my time trying to do the research on this site!

I’m waiting to hear if I will be refunded for the $23.95 they charged when it gave the appearance it was a $1 charge. The report gave hardly any information - except it wasn’t a rental. I’m pissed.

The website said I would be charged $1 for a car history report. But, I was charged $23.95. Apparently, I unknowingly signed up for a 23 month, $23.95 installment plan. This has been a common complaint by many others but the company has done nothing to help prevent this mistake. Furthermore, the report I did receive was inaccurate as most of the useful data was outdated my at least 2 years.

This company is a scam. I was told I would be reimbursed for the report. Being a person of integrity, I believed it. It was not true so don't believe it. They claimed afterward that I had to buy a package. Scammers at best! Contacting my credit card company and BBB.

Never got my refund. Don't believe them if they claim you will be refunded. This is the email I received,

I found this report to be of very valuable information, with known likely value of keeping Hondas in general, I just required as much information as possible prior to spending additional funds to maintain my 2003 Civic as opposed to considering a new or other used vehicle.

Checked online for a one-time car history report on my vehicle the process was fast and provided the information I was looking for. Well worth the $1.00 fee for the service.

Gave me everything that I needed to know quick and in black and white without having to take someone else's word for it
