About Community Tax Relief
Community Tax Relief, found online at CommunityTaxRelief.com, is a company who says that their goal is to help their customers find the best options for tax debt relief, with a concentration on the customer and their best interest.
How Does It Work?
The investigation process begins by filing the required forms with the IRS and/or the State in order to receive a complete record of your account, as well as additional phone calls needed to determine and verify any other important information relevant to your tax liabilities.
At the same time, your financials will be analyzed and compared to the IRS or state's standards in order to determine the best course of action. When the investigation is complete, you will be contacted with all your potential options for resolving your tax issues.
Once the investigation is fully completed, the resolution phase begins. Obtaining a resolution of tax liabilities can last anywhere from one week to as long as one year, depending on the program for which you qualify for.
The costs of your tax debt resolution services will be different depending on your specific needs and the length of your resolution process, but Community Tax Relief does say that they do not charge "outrageous upfront fees" for their services the way many of their competitors do.
There are no Refund, Guarantee, or Cancellation Policies published on this website at this time, so customers who are curious about these specific policies should speak with a Customer Service representative about this before contracting their services.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers can call them directly at 877-492-2750 to speak with a representative who can take your specific information and then find a representative who can represent you during your resolution process.
There does not seem to be many user reviews available for this company, however organizations that take customer reviews have noted that Community Tax Relief works hard to address and resolve all customer complaints about their company.

If you are in hardship now. You be will in double mid journey. You will realize that you are being scammed. I called IRS and the CBE Collection agency and they both instructed me how to handle my IRS problem on my own for free. Do not be afraid to call these two agencies scary at first. Just tell CBE your story. they will instruct you on how to cut them out and deal with IRS and request your own installment plan. Who knows your financial situation better than you? After 5,000.00 and heads up from a friend that was scammed for about 4500.00. Use the money to pay IRS and keep yourself out of trouble. The wait for and hour with IRS is cheaper that 5000.00. Comm. Tax reads these reviews and use them to build there antics. PASS THIS ALONG!!!!! The TV commercial is false. If you still question my review, call a local attorney in your state they will help you with a one time fee of about 500.00 depending on your situation. If you can do it for free please do it.
Horrible experience. Don't use Community Tax.
hired them because I thought it would've been to much for me but I had already talked with the IRS about my case & after I had contacted Optima 1st who wanted 2300,00 , then spoke with community tax who said 700.00, I thought I would save money, she didn't mention that it was an initial fee, which falls under deceptive practices, because I waited 3 months for them to tell me what I already knew and if I wanted them to go further I would have to pay them 900.00 more. nope give my money back they did what I already had done, if you give them more , it could go towards what you would owe, the IRS aren't that bad, they will work with you as I had spoken to them after I got rid of ms community tax rep
I paid these idiots over 3500.00 and got absolutely nothing in return. Its been over a year and they did nothing with my case. Please. Do not make the same mistake I did stay far away from these people!!!!!
Nice enough people on the phone or on chat via their website, however it seems to me that they are a bit shady. When we contacted them and told them our story, we were told that there were additional ways that they had with working with the IRS, but to find out how, we had to pay $600 for "PHASE ONE." Unfortunately we gave them our Credit Card # so there went $600. We received paperwork outlining nothing more than what we have already done, so there was absolutely nothing that we got for our $600. The only thing they will do, it appears, is file an OIC (Offer In Compromise) which you can do for free.
I would not recommend this company at all as it appears that they are simply after your $600.
