FabKids.com is a website promoted by actress Cristina Applegate that promises to provide moms with an easy and affordable way to find stylish, individualized outfits for their kids.
How Does It Work?
Members should take a short style quiz that will help their stylists understand your child better based on their age, size, gender, and examples of their favorite styles to wear.
Once you have complete the quiz, you will get access to all their collections, as well as a group of outfits that have been personally selected for your child based on the quiz results. Members can choose fully styled outfits or pick and choose individual pieces they think their child would like.
Becoming a member costs nothing. Your job is to look through your provided outfits in the first ten days of the month, with full outfits starting at $29.95 and individual pieces starting at $14.95. All orders which total more than $49 will be shipped for free.
Customers who have complaints about or are otherwise unhappy with what they receive can return unused and unworn items within 30 days of purchase to either receive store credit or an exchange with no penalty. Customers who want a refund, however, will need to pay a $5.95 restocking fee.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who have questions, issues, or complaints can submit them directly to their website, or they can speak with a representative via the "live chat" feature on the website. Customers can also reach them by telephone at 855-FAB-KIDS and finally by traditional mail at 609 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.
Most of the negative reviews associated with FabKids.com come from members who didn't understand that the membership agreement includes their being automatically charged for an outfit each month unless you go to the website and choose the "Skip a Month" option. If you are charged for a month where you don't purchase an outfit, that charge becomes store credit that can be placed toward an outfit at a future date.
Is It Safe?
There do not seem to be any complaints about safety with regard to this company.

I received an email a few months ago about and offer for 2 pairs of shoes "FOR" $9.95 but when I went to the cart, it was coming up way higher. I contacted them via chat and phone and was told "I" read the email wrong, the offer was 2 pairs of shoes "FROM" $9.95 not "FOR" $9.95. I sent them all the emails I received as proof of what I was saying and they still said "I" was wrong. Only after I complained publicly on social media, they honored the email. I received the shoes and they were poorly made and did not fit my daughter so I sent them back at the end of August. They sent me an email on September 26th saying they received my return and that my refund would be processed in 2-5 business day but that never happened. I contacted them today to get an update and I was told that the "system" does not process the returns even though they sent an email saying it did. I was told today that the refund is going to be processed today and it can take 5-7 days which is not what the return email stated. When I continued to question why I had to contact them about not getting my refund, I was told there was a "system glitch" which was a total contradiction since I was previously told the system doesn't generate refunds. I asked for an address to the corporate office and was given 2 email address that don't work and now am being told that my complaint "may" not be answered.
I've been using fabkids for a couple of years now and have no complaints whatsoever.
You can skip every month, if you forget you run up a credit for this month which you can use the next month (s) or right away.
Returns are easy. Refunds as well.
Quality is good, my daughter didn't like the fit of the shoes so we stopped ordering shoes from them.
The outfits are very cute and there's always nice clearance outfits.
You will also collect points which you can redeem for accessories, leggings or whatever else they offer in the points section.
I have no complaints about the company, only that my daughter is slowly outgrowing their size range (;
I understood the policy, but after purchasing and not being impressed with the quality of the sneakers I purchased, I decided to cancel my VIP status. I also requested to have my credit card information removed.
They refused. I then told them that I was going to contact the Attorney General of my State and file a complaint. They offered to deactivate my account.
I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
YOu get the same or better quality at PAYLESS Shoes.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Granted I don't call customer service with many companies. I had to call this one 3x's waiting for a credit on a return that they received for over a month. I had been a VIP member over the years and this was my first return. Items were unopened that I returned after opening the one I kept and it was poor quality. I then only received a partial refund with an explanation they kept 5.03 for a shipping fee even though the web site stated no return fee. Last time I shop with this company.
