About Flip with Nick
Flip with Nick is the online home of real estate investor and mentor Nick Vertucci, a retired police officer who claims that he has created the "blueprint for profit" in real estate investing.
How Does It Work?
According to the website, interested customers can sign up for one of the Fortunes in Flipping seminars that Nick Vertucci offers throughout Southern California. Vertucci believes that while real estate investment is a great way to make money, the truth is that it is a difficult business and requires teaching and mentoring in order for new investors to be successful.
These seminars are described as teaching attendants "the world's most efficient system for flipping properties," as well as explanations of how you can get no money down funding and how to find the best investment properties.
There is no explanation of fees or costs for these seminars, or any of the products you can get through these seminars. It is, however, free to register for a seminar, and the website promises that attendants will receive a free Fortunes in Flipping Kit worth $400.
Since the seminar is free to register for, there is no published Refund Policy or Guarantee. Customers who purchase products from this seminar or other related Nick Vertucci events should ask about potential refunds at that time.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so using their advertised phone number 800-328-6418.
Unfortunately there are not many user reviews available for these seminars at this time. There are some complaints from past users of other Nick Vertucci materials and classes, but it does not seem that there are reviews specific for the Flip with Nick seminar series.

Update Sept 2017:
I'm impressed with the speed at which the NVREA team resolved my concerns. I just got a call from Jamie Tolson, who addressed the rest of the items on the list.
The information presented thus far seem legit.
So now I can definitely say I'm looking forward to the Bus Tour later this year. Thanks Jamie!

Last month, I received a card and two tickets in the mail to attend the NVREA seminar. stated the recipient and guest would receive a power bank, usb drive, $20 gift card and a smart watch. However, upon arrival, we were informed only the recipient would receive the $20 gift card. We signed up for the 3-day seminar. I didn’t receive any communication from them after. As a result, I didn’t even know in which hotel the seminar was being held. Fortunately, my partner got an email, or I would have demanded a refund.
For the 3-day seminar, I was very happy with the team we had. Ryan and Rob provided us with a good bit of useful information, enough to do paper flips on our own. They provided an abundant of before and after photos, which really showed the potential of rehab properties. While the team devoted a small amount of time to promoting the bus tour, they did spend the bulk of the three days teaching us what was promised. They covered the three streams of income in fairly good detail. From the seminar reviews I’ve seen online, I can safely say Ryan and Rob comprise one of your best teams. Because of them, we purchased the elite package.
Everything continued smoothly, until after the event. I encountered a total absence of communication from NVREA. We were told we would receive an email containing the group facebook page. I received nothing. We were told we would receive information regarding their wholesale webinar series. Nothing. We were also supposed to receive information on the bus tour, for which we paid a hefty amount. Again, nothing. Finally, we were told the Anderson Group would call us regarding setting up a corporation for the turnkey business. I assume I won’t hear from them, either.
I got a but ticked off at NVREA’s silence. So I called to ask whether the partner is actually entitled to any of the benefits advertised in the course, such as coaching and the facebook page. They said yes. I then asked why I received absolutely no communication from them.
Come to find out, if you sign up with a partner, ALL of the follow up contacts and information is directed ONLY to the main contact on the agreement. A coach did call my partner, who then forwarded the subsequent emails to me. This information about contacts should have been clearly communicated prior to having two people sign the agreement. Very sketchy.
Carla, the representative to whom I spoke, confirmed my email address and said she would send me all of the initial emails. What did I get? Nothing. I called back later in the afternoon to change the phone number on file. It seems there will be difficulty locating me in the system without first referencing my partner's phone number. Very inefficient. To date, all communication continue to be directly solely to my partner, the main contact, despite her request otherwise. Either everything is scripted, or they just don't listen.
I've emailed Nick Vertucci twice over the past few days and haven't received even an acknowledgement.
Were I to advise a potential student intending to register for the bus tour with someone unrelated and don’t intend to partner with them in this business, I would say, think twice because you may never hear from NVREA again without some effort. In other words, you are SOL.
Overall, I would give the 3-day seminar 5 stars, but the administrative portion rates a zero. Communication is key and the lack thereof is quite disappointing.
Everything sounds fantastic however if you listen closely, you'll realize that not everything adds up.
No I didn't attend the academy, only the free event so this review is based only on my impression from the free event and some information if found after the event on line, written by others and information regarding the speaker/instructor/salesman at the free event.
They spent the vast majority of the seminar on how with their system you can find bank owned/repossessed homes far below market prices, use "other people's money" (OPM) to buy the home and perform repairs etc then sell it at market value. He talks about how if you go to the training, you are guaranteed to have access to this OPM. The term "paper flip" is only briefly mentioned. That's where it's misleading. That's where you need to ask questions and that's what they should be explaining. Thing is, a "paper flip" isn't nearly as sexy as buying a home with OPM and turning it for a huge profit. Yet from what I've gathered, that's what they want you to do after the $1695 class and that's primarily you will be learning at the 3 day $1695 classes. Basically your doing the dirty footwork, finding homes in the "target" area they describe for someone else. That someone else will pay you a finders fee but they will be the one making the huge profit, not you.
I've also read that there is a hidden agenda for the $1695 you'll spend for the 3 day class learning how to do Nick's perfected "paper flip." They will be trying to up sell you in a $50,000 4 day bus tour.
Now, if knowing that doesn't change your willingness to cough up $1695, how about this. The pitch at the free seminar was led by Michael Syme's, he is the name behind "Keys to Making Money with Online Auctions." Michael Syme is known by many as a scam artist. At Nick's event, Mike likes to tell a "story" about how he was living paycheck to paycheck then he and his wife had baby that was very premature and how he incurred great debt as a result. He never said how much but has told people at other seminars that it was in excess of $500k. Others have said that Michael said that he wasn't insured, he told us that the $ he owed was his part after insurance paid. Thing is, Michael Syme used to do the exact same thing as he is doing now, without the premature baby Hospital debt story. Michael Syme was putting on a free seminar that's only purpose is to get you excited enough to cough up cash for the actual information/training. The fee for his Auction training was $4000. The fee for training at the Nick Vertucci seminar was $1695.00 (price varies from what I've read) this is for 3 days teaching the Nick improved secrets and training. He'll tell you that the fee is not to make money, it's to weed out those who are serious from those who are not.
In summary, the free event and information I've read, leaves me with the impression that it's a scam and at least has one known scammer for an instructor. That said, I tend to think that if you work hard, implement what's taught, you might make some money regardless.
Nick, if you read this, I'm not complaining about something that I was given, but you should know that the GPS smart watch, does not have GPS.
Complaint: My partner and I signed up for a real estate seminar under the impression the seminar would be a three day program teaching wholesaling techniques. The seminar was in reality a whole weekend of information pushing a bus tour to teach rehabbing, for an additional $30,000. We did not proceed with the bus tour and as such received follow up calls from the academy inquiring about our satisfaction with the program. We advised the rep that we were not satisfied with the program as it did not teach what we were advertised to learn. We were then followed up with a call from a "specialist" who offered to teach an exclusive wholesaling class for an additional $5,000. I already paid $1,695 for the initial program. I submitted the request for refund and waiver via e-mail on a document provided by the academy. I have yet to receive a response or even acknowledgment. I would like a refund of my purchase.Desired Settlement: I have no further desire than a refund of what I paid. I am willing to sign the waiver to indicate I will not make further complaints/requests of the program.
Attended the San Antonio Free presentation on Sep 1, 2016. Heard about it on the radio. It sounded like they have the inventory and the funds but needed 20 people to grow the business. Received packed lunch and a gift for attending. Everyone was nice and friendly at first but as soon as I declined to sign up fo their $1,695 three day seminar, their mood changed to sour. There was no sign on Nick. The presenter was Gus. Emotional trip about why you should do it for your family's future etc etc. Out of the 20+ people attending I only saw a 3 people sign up for the 3 day seminar. I have been to a few real estates flip presentation and they are all starting to sound the same. I have a System, give me your money and I'll teach you how to make lots of money. It was really pathetic. I feel sorry for the poor souls who signed up. First they suck you in with free presentation then more money and more seminars until they drop the bomb give me $K money to really teach you how to make money. If you have a secret of how to make lots of money, why then do you need us!?? They need more suckers to pay them thousands of dollars for training. They made everything very simplistic and the real world doesn't work like that. The even suggested that one could withdraw their 401k to use for the business. Very dangerous and detrimental advice. Gus shared his story and he really joined Nicks team out of desperation It sounds very entertaining and euphoric but it's a dangerous move to do out of desperation. Right next door to our conf room there was another "house flipping" seminar alaways know that if something sounds too good to be true it usually is. There is no get rich quick scheme and Nicks team proved it, they need us and our money to propel their empire. Clearly they are not making enough money flipping houses so they travel around the country selling seminars and training. Canadians be aware of this business RCA will eat you alive if they found out you are flipping selling home x-border and not declaring it on your taxes. Good Luck.
I would give 5++, if it was possible, for the unmatched quality of training that they provide, besides the highest level of support and assistance to all their graduates. I have attended many trainings in my life, but never seen anywhere close to what I experienced here. The level of knowledge, commitment and approachability of all the coaches and their staff was top notch. Initially, I was also susceptible after attending the first overview free session. But, still signed up for the 3 days detailed one few weeks later, which really opened my eyes. It really made sense what they said, because I believe in facts and figures and the numbers do not lie. My heart kept reminding me to go with them as these people looked real and genuine. I took the plunge and just finished the extensive training with my daughter in California. That was one of a lifetime experience for both of us. My daughter is very smart and I am no fool either. I have over 30 years experience of working with Fortune-500 companies all over the world. I must tell you, no other training in my life has given me that much detailed knowledge and tools, to make you feel confident and have self-belief to fulfill all your cherished dreams. Each and every day, the coaches were available to sit with you one-on-one, to answer all your questions and doubts 2-3 hours before the start of the session and right up to or even after mid night. They won't let you leave until you are completely satisfied with their answers and explanations. Even after returning back, I have access to their hotline number to ask any questions or seek guidance if I feel unsure or am missing any of the steps I was taught. They literally walk you through by holding your hand, until you are comfortable to be on your own. I still stumble sometimes in my baby steps, but am amazed to find help and support from Nick's caring team at the hour of need to help me get up and start walking again.
The visionary and the founder of this Academy is an ex-cop and is a man of humility, with highest level of integrity and resolute commitment towards all his students, something that is not seen much in today's day and age. He is not only successful in doing this business ethically, but also has an untiring magnanimous vision and endeavor to inspire and improve the quality of life of other human beings, irrespective of their race, color, faith or religion.
If I still do not succeed in spite of all the sincere efforts of the NVREA team, to see me cross the line, I would have no one to blame except me. I just need to keep following the system and tirelessly work diligently towards achieving my goals one day at a time and stay happy and positive in all situations.
For all those who just attended the introductory overview session and started rating this organization, please stand in front of a mirror and ask, how much rating you deserve to get from yourself, forget about what others rate you. Still, don't lose hope and get up to give yourself another chance. Please see the full movie from start till The End, before submitting your reviews as your comments may prevent someone from not only transforming his/her life, but also their families who are their dependents and carry high hopes from them.
Long live, Nick Vertucci and his team! May God bless you all!
