About Nativity Stone Cross
The Nativity Stone Cross, found online at TheNativityCross.com, is a new piece of jewelry that says they are giving people an opportunity to “own a precious stone from the birthplace of Jesus.”
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the Nativity Stone Cross includes a center stone from the cave of the Nativity in Bethlehem, which they say is the actual birth place of Jesus. There is a Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, which is a World UNESCO site marking what is believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.
Their website says that there are a limited number of stones available from this site, and “once they are gone, they are gone forever,” so they encourage people to get these pieces while they can.
The website also promises that each order will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by the high priest of the church of the Nativity, as well as a decorative display case where the piece can be kept.
They are currently offering three different options for their jewelry, including the Large Gold Tone at 1 7/8" long and 1 3/8" wide, the Petite Gold Tone at 1 1/4" long and 7/16" wide, and the Classic Stainless Steel at 1 7/8" long and 1 3/8" wide but in silver, rather than gold.
But regardless of which specific Nativity Stone Cross you choose, it will be priced at $19.99, with a Shipping and Processing fee of $7.95, for a total of $27.94. Your order will also include a Certificate of Authenticity, a 21″ Diamond Cut Rope Chain, and the Faith Case in your order for no additional charge. In addition, they are also offering a free “special gift” of their gold tone Angel Brooch, for just a separate Shipping fee of $7.95, making your order total $35.89.
Finally, an additional web surcharge fee of $2.00 is applied to all orders and customers are given the option pay an additional $1.99 fee for insured shipping. Sales tax will be applied to all New York orders, and a $10 surcharge will be added to all orders from Alaska and Hawaii.
This company does provide a Refund Policy for their customers, saying that they will provide a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, but they do not provide a fully detailed and laid out return process on their website. Instead, they ask their customers to please call their Customer Service to receive the full return instructions they will need to successfully return their product for a refund.

Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 800-310-3166.
Unfortunately this product is still so new that they don’t have many customer reviews available at this time, and this is frustrating because it makes difficult to know whether or not this product is actually being sanctioned by the Church of the Nativity, whose own website provides no information whatsoever regarding the sale of stones from the cave. Customers who purchase this product may be taking a risk.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There may be similar products available on today’s market, so customers who want different options than just the Nativity Stone Cross should feel comfortable looking around as they may be able to find what they really want.

Carefully worded ad copy
I saw this commercial for the first time tonight. Very skeptical and then I heard it. The say, "the stone represents a piece of the cave Jesus was born in". Represents? Good as disclaimer there is.
