The P90X3 workout is a new fitness program from well known fitness company Beachbody, which claims that they can help anyone “get ripped” within 90 days with just 30 minutes of daily workouts.

According to their website, multiple studies have repeatedly shown that they most dramatic body transformations happen in just the first 30 minutes of your workout routine. 

The creators of P90X3, including trainer Tony Horton, decided to use this information as a basis for creating a workout which would be effective with just that amount of time each day. 

So they took what they knew about Muscle Confusion, from the P90X program, Muscle Integration, from the X2 program, and combined it with this new information to make brand new, tailored routines which would take advantage of this combined science.

This resulted in the P90X3 workout, which they describe as “a highly structured, plateau busting schedule” with an unprecedented variety of moves that will challenge your muscles for 30 minutes, every day.

When they first studied this program with a group, the average fat loss they witnessed was 34%, which the website says would be great even for an hour long daily workout program.

The full workout program contains 16 different “extreme” 30 minute workouts, including 6 resistance based workouts, 3 power workouts, 3 cardio workouts, and 4 core, flexibility, and balance workouts.

In addition, you’ll get five free gifts, including a detailed fitness guide, a nutrition guide, a workout schedule calendar, the "How to Accelerate" DVD, and 24/7 online support. In order to successfully complete this workout, you'll need a set of dumbbells and resistance bands, and a way to do pull ups.

While there is no need to complete a different workout program before transitioning to P90X3, the website says you may want to start with a different program, like Power 90, and then work your way up.

Beachbody offers a wide variety of fitness programs, like the Insanity 60 Day Total Body Conditioning Program or Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer, for people of all levels so you're guaranteed to find one that is best for you.
