Polaroid Zip Reviews

About Polaroid Zip

Polaroid Zip, found online at Polaroid.com, is a new version of the instant print Polaroid technology which is designed to print photos from your phone rather than from a camera.

How Does It Work?

As most people are aware, it can be frustrating when you realize that all your photos are trapped in your phone and you have no photo albums or other tangible means of keeping your memories together.

The goal of Polaroid has always been to give people a way to have access to their memories in the form of instant photography. With the Polaroid Zip, customers will be able to connect their phones to the printer through Bluetooth or NFC technology in order to print 2x3” full color, smudge proof photos with a sticky back.

Mobile Options

Because this product works by connecting to your phone through a mobile application, they are currently compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems.

Cost/Price Plans

At this time the Polaroid website is actually not selling this product directly to their consumers. Instead, they will re-direct their customers directly to Amazon.com, unless you personally decide to go to a different retailer to find your Polaroid Zip. If you do choose to purchase your Zip from Amazon.com, it is currently priced at $106.99.

Refund Policy

Because this website does not actually sell their products directly to their customers, but rather send their customers to Amazon.com or other retailers, they do not provide a Refund Policy directly from their site. Customers will need to adhere to the policies offered by the retailer where they purchased their product in order to successfully return their product and receive their refund.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by submitting them directly to the Polaroid website if you need technical support, but if you are concerned about damages or about returns you will need to contact Amazon or the retailer where you purchased your product.

This product appears to have some mixed reviews at this time, though it is true that the majority of the reviews appear positive for the most part. The customers who didn’t have the best experiences with the Polaroid Zip had a variety of issues, but for the most part it seems as though they are concentrated in two areas: the app and the quality of the photos.

In terms of the photo quality, some customers complained that the images printed too dark and there wasn’t really an effective way to fix this issue with the Polaroid app. Other customers, however, have pointed out that if you edit your photos on your phone before uploading them to the app to print then you can often fix this problem.

As for the app, some customers have complained that after the app is updated, sometimes the Zip claims that it can no longer recognize your phone, which causes a series of problems. This seems to be a problem that has only occurred to a variety of customers, and doesn’t appear to be consistent issue.

Competitors and Alternatives?

There are actually many other companies that have worked to provide their customers with a way to print photos directly from their phones, including the Prynt, Prynt Pocket, and the HP Sprocket Photo Printer.
