About Revyve Skin

Revyve Skin, found online at, is a new anti-aging skincare product which is being advertised by an article which claims that using this product can eliminate 90% of your wrinkles within just two weeks.

How Does It Work?

Revyve Skin is being promoted by an advertorial, a website which has been made to look like a popular beauty blog with an embedded video of television’s Dr. Oz, but is really just an advertisement created for the purposes of promoting this product to new customers.

The Revyve Skin website says that as people age, exposure to UV radiation and environmental pollutants results in people rapidly losing their skin’s levels of collagen, which is the peptide responsible for making skin appear firm and hydrated.

This website says that their product is able to be more effective than others, because of its “rapid transfer technology” which allows their moisturizer to deliver whole collagen molecules to the skin in a way that other creams and skin care products cannot.

Ingredients and Side Effects

This website provides their customers with a short list of their active ingredients, which includes Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Aloe Vera, Cucumber Extract, and Vitamin C. All of these ingredients are listed as good quality skincare ingredients by the skin care website Paula’s Choice, except for Vitamin C, which is listed as one of their “Best” ingredients.

Cost/Price Plans

New customers can order this product by simply paying the price of Shipping and Handling in order to receive it for a trial period of 14 days. The Shipping and Handling price is $6.95.

Customers who choose not to cancel will be charged the full purchase price of $89.95 at the end of the trial period, and every 30 days thereafter they will be charged $96.90 when their new supply ships. Customers who do not wish to incur these recurring charges must contact their Customer Service team and cancel at least one day before the end of the trial period.

Refund Policy

Because this company has their customers order their product on an initial trial basis, there isn’t really an opportunity for a refund. Instead, customers are instructed to contact their Customer Service team one full day before the end of the 14 day trail, which begins on the date on which you place your order. This is an important detail, because most customers believe that their trial begins the day they receive their product, which isn’t true. If it takes ten days for your product to be delivered, you only have four days in which to try before you must cancel it or pay the full purchase price.

If customers are unable to successfully cancel during this trial period, they will be charged the full price of the product and there is likely to be no way to receive a refund at that time, though you are welcome to try and speak to Customer Service about potentially getting one.

Customers should know this company shows multiple signs of being an unethical, untrustworthy company. The first is that they are using a fake news site as a method of promoting their company, which is when a company designs an advertisement that is intended to look like a factual news article, and they are illegally using a celebrity’s likeness when they claim Dr. Oz has any affiliation with their product.

Another problem is that they force their customers into participating in a “trial period,” which automatically enrolls you into an autoship program where you will be charged nearly $100 every month until you are able to successfully cancel, and cancelling these types of orders isn’t always as easy as it should be. Customers should do whatever they can to avoid these types of unethical skincare companies and instead purchase products from trusted retailers.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Thankfully there are many well documented ingredients that have been proven to help people slow down or improve the traditional signs of aging, and there are many products in your local drugstore that include these ingredients. These products won’t cost hundreds of dollars, and they are likely to be covered by a respectable and trustworthy Return Policy.
